1059 In Film Industry, Male Junior Artists and Female Junior Artists should have separate Unions distinct from Established High Priced Artists

First I must express my sincerest thanks for the relentless work being carried on by the Feminist Activists like Ms. Devi, Sandhya, Sajaya (and more others). As far as I know, they do not have any selfish motives. First time, I wrote about the self-destructive condition of the Telugu Film Industry was on 1st November 2015 i.e. about 3 years back. That was about the 1941 condition of the Industry, where the Andhra Patrika writer expressed his anxiety about high rates of remuneration paid to Telugu Heros, when compared even to Hindi Heros. In these 74 years, we can easily see that things have not changed about the exorbitant fees paid to Heroes. For the benefit of my readers, I reproduce below what the 1941 Ra RAju wrote, with approx. Engl. gist by me:

తారల వేతనాలు తగ్గించాలి. (Salaries of Stars should be curtailed.)

స్టార్ సిస్టం వల్ల మనకిప్పుడంతగా ఒనగూడే లాభం లేదని పైన చెప్పే ఉన్నాను. I have already said that there will be no benefit to us with the Star System now.

తెలుగు ఫిలిమ్ పరిశ్రమలో కొందరు తారలకు హిందీ తారల కివ్వని వేతనాలు కూడ యిస్తున్నదని భ్రమ పడి ప్రొడ్యూసరులు ప్రఖ్యాత తారల కెగబడి, ఒకరిపై ఒకరు పోటీ పడి చేయటం వల్ల ఈ పరిస్థితి ఏర్పడింది. This situation has arisen because some producers, suffering from an illusion that Telugu film industry is paying high wages to Telugu Stars which Hindi film industry does not pay to Hindi stars, are standing in a crazy queque before the mega stars.

హిందీ చిత్ర పరిశ్రమతోనూ, వారికుండే మార్కెట్టుతో నూ, వారి చిత్రాల కొచ్చే ఆదాయం తోనూ పోల్చి చూస్తే తెలుగు తారలకు ఇప్పుడిచ్చే వేతనాల్లో నాలుగోవంతు కూడా యివ్వటం న్యాయం కాదు. It will not be reasonable to pay even 1/4th of the wages which we are now paying to Telugu Stars, when compared to the Hindi Film Industry, their markets, the income they get for their films.

కాబట్టి , నటీనటుల వేతనాల్లో , ఒక కనిష్ఠ ప్రమాణము, ఒక గరిష్ఠ ప్రమాణము నిర్ణయించుకొని ప్రొడ్యూసర్లందరూ ఆ పధ్ధతిని అనుసరించటం మంచిది. Hence it will be good for producers to arrive at a consensual minimum standard, maximum standard for payment of wages to stars, and follow those standards.

నెలకు రూ. 500 కంటే ఏతారకూ ఎక్కువ వేతనం ఇవ్వ పని అవసరం లేదని నా వుద్దేశం. It is my opinion that no star needs to be paid more than Rs. 500 per month.

కాంగ్రెస్ మంత్రులకు సైతం అంతకంటె ఎక్కువ జీతాలు లేవు. Even Congress Ministers, are not getting more than those wages.

ఏవిధంగా నైనా మన తెలుగ ఫిలిం పరిశ్రమ స్థిర పడి , ఎక్కువ ఆదాయం వస్తున్న తరువాత, ఈ వేతనాలు కావలిస్తే వృధ్ధి చేసుకోవచ్చు. In some manner or other, Telugu film industry has to stabilise first, raise its income. After that, we can raise the wages.

అంత వరకూ నటులైనా ఆవుపాలకు ఆశించవలెనే కానీ పొదుగుకోసి పాలు త్రాగటానికి ఆశ పడరాదు. Till then, even stars should only hope for cow's milk, and should not be tempted to cut their udders.

The 1941 Ra Raju wrote that max. Rs. 500 per month would be enough for actors and actresses. Today what are the rates of our Heroes (and a few heroines)?

Here are some Telugu Heroes who charge some millions of bucks for acting. Some of them have openly come out to "dESOddhAraka" (Uplift this country) by becoming MLAs, MPs, Ministers and Chief Ministers.

These heroes cannot pretend that they have not noticed 'Casting Couch' indulged in by film producers, directors, heroes, coordinators, their kith and kin. If they pretend, we have to treat them as blind and deaf. Did they, at any point of time, make some 'loud thinking' about the murky dealings which are foisted upon innocent needy female junior artists? Why didn't they? They have twitter and facebook addresses with hundreds of thousands or probably millions of followers. What compelled the Heroes to be blind and deaf to the happenings in the Film Industry?

Why did one Hero give a careless casual advice to Ms. Sri Reddy to go to court? Here are his Preachings.

“There is no use going to TV channels. The women should go to police stations. More than this sensationalism, there is a need to fight all such injustice in court.”

“Instead of resorting to such protests, it’s better to approach the police and narrate their problems. Let them handle it. Because how much ever we speak to the media, it is the government’s duty to do justice,”

Every Indian in India knows, how efficiently and fast our Courts function.

In the Salman Khan's deer hunting case, didn't the Trial Court take 20 years! It is a simple case. Salman Khan's Lawyers might have drageed it for 20 years.

In the case of "Shooting in Balakrishna's Residence" did anybody get punished, though there was evidence, that an attempt was made to wipe out blood on floor and erase evidence? What did the Court or the Government or the Police do when Witnesses turned hostile?

In India, "Justice in Courts" is like "picci vADi cEtilO rAyi (Stone in the hands of a Lunatic)". Justice outside Courts are administered by mafia dons, but that cannot be called "Justice".

Producers, Directors, Heroes,Coordinators, their kith and kin, who are indulging in Casting Couch and Women Trafficking, have money to engage Expensive Lawyers paying to millions as fees. Getting adjournments for some decades will be beneficial both for the Accused and the Lawyers. Ms. Sri Reddy, though she may have some money, is reported to be staying in a rented house. It is reported that the Accused Persons have brought pressure on the Landlord to evict Ms. Sri Reddy.

Now, the Politician-turned-Hero who gave a casual-careless advice to Ms. Sri Reddy, wants to boycott Media, because they have extended their Discussion Forums to Female Junior Artists to vent their sufferings. Actually, Lakhs of Telugu people would have appreciated this Hero, if he had tried to help Ms. Sri Reddy, by bringing moral pressure on the Top Producer's son to pay some monetary compensation to Ms. Sri Reddy, who is in a wrecked condition. Or the Hero should have brought moral pressure on MAA, to file a PIL against the State, for neglecting Casting Couch in Hyderabad.

Telugu people should be fortunate, that she had not turned literally mad.

1058 What we ought not to have learnt from Hollywood, we have aped shamelessly-- Casting Couch

I greatly appreciate Ms. Sri-Reddy, actress of Telugu language Film Industry (also called Tollywood) for her courage in belling the proverbial Cat- of "Casting Couch". Hollywood is the Role Model for Bollywood, the Mumbai (Bombay) Filmy World. And Bollywood is the Role Model for the Film Industries of the Languages of Rest of India. Of course, "Casting Couch" might not have started with Harvey Weinstein. It might have started in the very first year of the Advent of the Hollywood Film Industry, and nobody might have bothered to notice it. For the 21st Century World, the allegations against Mr. Harvey Weinstein might have popularised the phrase of 'Casting Couch'. Italian model Ambra Gutierrez, seems to be the first Actress, who deserves to be credited with the courage of 'Belling the Cat'.

As an individual Indian Citizen, Mr. Pavan Kalyan has a right to express his own Opinions and views, under the Fundamental Right of Freedom of Expression. But, we should not forget that he is not just an individual citizen entitled to his right of Freedom of Expression, but also HE IS A PROMINENT MEMBER OF THE TELUGU FILM INDUSTRY CHARGING MILLIONS AND CRORES FOR A ROLE IN FILM, WHICH INVOLVES WORK OF A FEW MONTHS. Very often, 80% of cost of production of a Telugu film, probably Bollywood Film, and even Hollywood film, happen to be the Fat Remuneration of Millions and Crores paid to the Film Heros, and Directors. Their Remuneration is disproportionately high. 80% of the Indian Films and probably Hollywood Films tend to be filth and trash, because the Producers and Distributors have to recover back their moolah. Yet, 80% of the films fail at Box Office. Thus almost all our Heros, and some of Directors are becoming the cause for production of Shit in films and Beneficiaries of Shit in films, while millions and crores of common people are robbed of their hard-earned money through daily-wages or sweat-shop occupations.

I am tempted to use abusive words such as 'shit', 'filth', and 'pigs' to depict the greed of our producers, directors, and Heros. But I shall not use them any more. Reason: I do not want to insult pigs or filth. Indian street pigs do a Great Service of Scavengers of our Streets in Slums, though the pigs also be serving as a medium for spread of vector mosquito born diseases like meningitis, dengue, and chikungunya.

This subject of Casting Couch and 'demand for commitment (another word for demanding surrender to the lude desires of Producers/Directors/Heros/Powers-that-be who dish out roles to Female Character Artists) is a 1000 page subject, requiring 100 blog posts of 10 pages each. Yet, this will have to be handled with perseverance and diligence.

Question: Mr. Pavan Kalyan took nearly one month to express his lop-sided view. You too seem to be neglecting this perilous and pressing problem of Indian Film Industry. Even now, you seem to be writing too little and too late.

Ans: I have initially thought that all these happenings are gyrations, convolutions of the bourgeoisie socio-economics (in my mother tongue Telugu language bUrjuvA vikArAlu బూర్జువా వికారాలు). Bourgeoisie Spasms can be cured only by replacing the bourgeoisie Economies and Societies with Truly Proletarian Marxist/Socialist/Communist Democratic Economies and Societies. Once the Capitalist Economies and Societies get replaced with Working Class Economies and Societies, where inequalities are not allowed to sprout, grow, exist, exploit, reproduce, and never die. Members of Working Classes will have to be very alert and act well-in-time, lest Inequalities arise and penetrate even into Truly Socialist Societies. Vigilance and United Action are the Prices to be paid by Working Class for their Resurrection to Equality.

Question: Don't you view MAA (Movie Artists Association) as a Working Class Organisation?

1040 I greatly appreciate the courage and self-confidence of Mr. Katti Mahesh in criticising Shri Pavan Kalyan, but Shri Mahesh should be more careful

Mr. Katti Mahesh, a Talented Telugu Actor, a candid and frank Telugu Film Critic, and a Qualified Journalist, is going through a tough phase in his life, because of his courage and convictions. It is not easy to hop from one TV Studio to another TV Studio in Hyderabad, and facing dozens of rebuking questions from Telugu Viewers, for some hours, by and large, with a smiling face is not an easy task. It requires lot of Self-Confidence, which Mr. Mahesh seems to amply possess. But as a well-wisher of Mr. Katti Mahesh, not that he does not know, he seems to be a more knowledgeable, and resourceful person than me, I have a word of caution. There is a Proverb "PramAdO dhImatA api" which means even a wise person can accidentally slip and injure himself. If it is some minor physical injury such as 'a sprain on an ankle', it may be alright. But, in case of words it is not so. Once words slip from the mouth/tongue -now probably- Computer keyboard/Mouse, it will be difficult to back. And, there will be people to chase and hound. Hence I appeal to him, as far as possible, to prepare written statements, show them to his Lawyers and Senior Journalists, get their advice, and then only speak out / tweet. Ex Tempore speaking in ordinary times may not cause much harm, but in testing times, where every TV Viewer and Netizen is too eager to catch a person for his-her faults, the Ex Tempore must be very careful. Else he-she will land themselves in avoidable hardships and hazards.

The message here is, the same people who look up with awe and admiration when a person rises, will show no empathy when the flight meets a disaster. Question: You seem to be a cynic or a pessimist. Mr. Mahesh is throwing aspersions on everybody in TV Channels. Why do you try to defend him?

Something may be wrong with my eyes or in my thinking. But I must say that Mr. Katti Mahesh appears more reliable to me , when compared to Mr. Pavan Kalyan, and his hundreds of thousands of (some of them gullible or blind, probably) followers, who are chasing Mr. Mahesh.

Mr. Mahesh appears to be like the lonely Abhimanyu, who entered Padma VyUha (Lotus Formation) with great valor, when sent by his Elder Uncle King YudhishThira. Those who are familiar with Kurukshetra war and the Mahabharata Epic, know that Abhimanyu met his tragic end in the Lotus Formation, as he was surrounded by Duryodhana-Dussasana-Karna-Drona Company, disarmed, and killed mercilessly.

Question: Do you think that Katti Mahesh might have been sent into this Lotus Formation by YSRCP Party or Mr. Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy?

Everything is possible in this Bourgeoisie World, but yet, from the way in which Mr. Mahesh is handling this question on TV Channels with substantial courage, I am personally tempted to believe that YSRCP or Jagan may not be behind Katti Mahesh. 926 Does Mr. Narendra Modi really love Indian farmers, particularly the marginal farmers and the tenant farmers?

Our Indian politicians, like their world counterparts, both the seasoned politicians like Mr. Narendra Modi, and the newbies and wannabes like Mr. Pavan Kalyan know nothing but political convenience, expediency, and opportunism. Clarification: I am not against agricultural debt relief measures or agricultural loan waivers in India, the country which tops in farmer suicides. But I feel sad when such a compassionate noble measure like agricultural debt relief is used as a tool for winning elections right from the days of the 'Thief Congress (as per Mr. Modi's view)' to the rein of 'Honest BJP'. Agricultural Debt Relief, like demonetization is not a 'Push button and speak to Nation' operation. Like demonetization, dozens of factors have to be taken into consideration, while drawing a scheme which is to benefit truly suffering farmers. Mr. Narendra Modi, in his hurry to win the Uttara Pradesh and Uttara Khand elections 2017 forgot to do his homework.

892 Why didn't this idea of Pavan Kalyan cannot get elected or HAS not GOT elected as a sarpaNch, occur to Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu and Mr. Narendra Modi, when they invited him to dais during 2014 Elections?

I am not sure about American Media, whether it calls a spade, a spade. But it incurred the wrath of Mr. Donald Trump the new 2017-21 American President, according to whom their Media under-reported the number of people who attended the Inaugural Ceremony of Mr. Donald Trump. As far as Indian Media is concerned, and in particular about Telugu Media conducts itself, in a safe manner, ensuring that they do not hurt the expectations of the Powers that be, whether at Delhi or at Hyderabad / Amaravati (Velagapudi). The Context for this comment of mine is: Mr. Pavan Kalyan, a Top Telugu film star, and Jana Sena Party leader, used his Tweets for making a scathing criticism of Andhra Pradesh Government not making adequate efforts to get the Special Category Status for the State of Andhra Pradesh, as promised in United Andhra Pradesh Bifurcation Act. Unable to bear or hide his agony, Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu, immediately rushed to Telugu Media with his remarks:--

"...Do any of those speaking about SCS have any experience in administration? Have they worked at least as a Sarpanch of a village? Development would come to a standstill if we keep on fighting with the Centre ..."

I greatly appreciate their frankness, and courage. Some critics may say that it is TACTLESSNESS. In today's world, calling a spade, a spade, is regarded as tactlessness. Okay, in a business sense of BUSINESS PRUDENCE, it may be tactlessness, because there is a danger of circari (Governmental) favors such as advertisements, free/concessional site in Capital Region of Amaravati, some free/concessional train passes, invitations for some circari Media Conferencees etc. etc. not reaching them. Then, they will have the satisfaction of acting with COURAGE AND CONVICTION. This website has also published the photo of the dais which Mr. Naidu and Mr. Narendra Modi shared with Pavan Kalyan. I do not know whether Shri Naidu or his CMO read/study/see this tv360.com web page or not. If they see this web page it will be well and good. Else, Shri Naidu can look into mirror his own-self, for at least 15 minutes every day, for introspection, which he severely lacks.

ABOUT Mr. Lokesh not getting elected as Sarpanch

ABOUT LATE NTR SENIOR (FORMER CM OF ANDHRA PRADESH) BRINGING IN DOCTORS ETC.

Late N.T. Rama Rao did not lag behind in NEPOTISM. By making Mr. Nara Chandra Babu Naidu as the DE FACTO CHIEF MINISTER OF ANDHRA PRADESH (of course till Ms. Lakshmi Parvati tried / was allowed to try to replace him), Late NTR proved that he was like his predecessor Congress Politicians. NT Rama Rao paid the price for trusting Mr. Naidu, just as Messrs. L.K. Advani and Murali Manohar Joshi paid the price for encouraging Shri Narendra Modi. Of course, they received their consolation/token gifts of PADMA VIBHUSHANS. NT Rama Rao didn't get Padma Vibhushan or Bharat Ratna, though occasionally Mr. Naidu feigns/pretends of trying for Bharata Ratna for NTR. Late NTR was also very much conscious of his own castes, and instead of discontinuing the caste based politics of the previous Governments, he had brought in new caste equations into the administration of the then United Andhra Pradesh.

Question: Is the casteism of Late NTR relevant today?

Ans: It is very much relevant, because RAMPANT CASTEISM IS THE ROOT CAUSE FOR THE BIFURCATION OF UNITED ANDHRA PRADESH, into Telangana and Residual Andhra Pradesh. Both Mr. KCR and Mr. Naidu, are carrying on their agenda of caste and family politics. Mr. J.C. Divakar Reddy, former Congress Minister , and current TDP MP from Anantapur, appears to blame Reddys for the injustices to Rayala Seema. His comment seems to intend to please Mr. Naidu, for reasons known only to Mr. Reddy. Casteism is a disease common to all the LANDED CASTES OF ANDHRA PRADESH AND TELANGANA STATE.

Question: Your observation seems to be wrong. Mr. Naidu gave Dy. Chief Ministerships to one BC, and one SC. He didn't give Dy. Chief Minister posts to his own caste persons!

Ans: Both Mr. K.E. Krishna Murthy and Mr. Nimmakayala Chinna Rajappa are Dy. Chief Ministers only on paper. Though they handle important portfolios like Revenue and Home, do they really have any say in the Cabinet? When Mr. Naidu was on his visit to Davos, who in the Capital Region of Andhra Pradesh, spoke like a Chief Minister ? In my personal view (it may be wrong), Mr. Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao, Irrigation Minister, acted like a Dy. Chief Minister or probably as the De Facto Chief Minister.

Mr. Pavan Kalyan, a Telugu film Hero of mass following, has political ambitions, may be initially at Residual Andhra Pradesh level, and later probably at All India level. According to Media, the Telugu film which released on 8th April 2016 globally, over about 2000 screens, is aimed at publicising him as a promising Savior of the People. Today, notionally, Telugu land is not confined to the precincts of the two States of Residual Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, but it extends from ANZ (Australia and New Zealand) in the East to U.S.A. and Canada, in the West. This is, not only owing to the presence of Telugu language speaking diaspora everywhere in the world, but also because they seem to suffer from ecstacies of false glories around their language and culture, apart from their internal inherent CASTE squirmishes revolving around Reddy-kamma-kapu-etc.-etc. castes which are inherited by birth in Hinduism.

It is, therefore, no wonder, the Telugu people, and the Hindivalahs who purchased tickets for the Bollywood dubbed version, are reported to have raked in Rs. 27.5 crore (Rs. 275 million- about $ 4 million) on the very first day of the release of the film. The film is said to have broken the collection records of the recent Telugu hits like bAhu bali, and SrImantuDu.

Officially, the first-day-average-ticket, was said to have been sold at $25 (approx. Rs. 1,800/-). At American or European standards, the ticket may be dead cheap peanuts or popcorn. But, by Indian standards, for a show of less than 2 hrs. (fake? or false?) entertainment, $25 is a princely sum. To understand the robbery which is taking place, we should compare the Rs. 1,800/- to average daily earnings of an auto-driver, who may get around Rs. 500/- for his day's toil consisting of nearly 12 hours. He has to sweat out 3.5 days to pool the Rs. 1,800/- needed to buy the ticket. Tickets for the Premier Show were said to have been sold at Rs. 10,000 (approx. $ 180 approx.).

Whenever, big films are released, I usually touch one or two working class persons such as hotel servers, autowallahas etc. to ascertain their views about the film. Two tea stall workers whom I interviewed said that they could not view the film on the first day, as they could not mobilise the Rs. 1,800 bucks. But, they have promised to see the film Sardar Gabbar Singh in a few days, and tell me their impressions.

There is nothing in the story plot or theme of Sardar Gabbar Singh, which is new, or refreshing. Heroine a baroness. Villain a businessman robbing the place. At the request of Heroine, Govt. posted Hero at the place, to develop it. In the process, Hero starts loving the Heroine. Of course, at the end, he will teach a fitting lesson to the villain. For all this, why should a hotel server or an auto driver shell down his four days wages?

If it is just four days wages, probably okay. When the occasion arises, the same people will have to vote for Pavan Kalyan and his Jana Sena Party, to make him some Home Minister or Chief Minister or someday even the Prime Minister of India. Yet, there is no guarantee that Mr. Pavan Kalyan will not ditch the people who voted for him, by merging his Party into BJP or Congress or something else. Proven History: His elder brother inflated-mega-star Mr. Chiranjeevi started a party by Name Praja Rajyam, and merged it in no time into Congress, when he was made a Union Minister of State for Tourism, by Ms. Sonia Gandhi. All this, because both the brothers belong to a numerically dominant caste.

Yesterday morning, I saw in a local hotel, two youths fighting with one another, for not being able to get sufficient number of tickets for the film , to sell in black market. Their grouse was that the theatre owner/management sold away the entire stock of the tickets, without leaving anything to the grass-root black-marketeers.

During my childhood (1954 Jan 6, to 1959 April 20) the period of my getting dumped in my p_grand-father's village, there used to come a class of folk artists called "pagaTi-vEsha gALLu" (a sort of wearers of fancy dress, for collecting alms/rewards from villagers between Southern solstice (Dec.) and the Summer Eqinox (March), the harvest season, when villagers have something to give, in their homes. Police Officer or Sub-Inspector of Police is one of such favorite and popular Fancy dresses.. They used to come even with a gun, though there were no bullets or horses. Their dialogues used to linger/vibrate in our ears even after their leaving. One such dialogue: "Pl. do not think that we have come to beg. We have come in search of food for our elephants."

Will the Andhra Pradesh Government drive away the Residents of Uddandarayapalem, Tallayapalem, and Velagapudi villages, which have to be erased for building the Capital for the new State of Residual Andhra Pradesh? Can the Government do it without bloodshed? Can AP Chief Minister do it, before he gets arrested in the Cash for Vote Scam by the Telangana Govt.? Can the AP CM get the Telangana CM arrested in the Phone Tapping case, before KCr does the same thing to Mr. CBN? We need a thousand Sherlock Holmes and Watsons to break this cruel game of mutual acrimony.

As per the plan for Seed Capital prepared by the Singapore Government, and if the A.P. Government wants to get the Foundation Stone for A.P. State Capital laid by the Hon. Prime Minister of India in Oct. 2015, the A.P. Government will have to evict the Residents of the three villages and raze the houses to ground, for laying roads etc. Of course, for facilitating this, Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, will have to make another garland of promises to the Residents of these villages, such as alloting them high value luxury 3BR flats in the Capital City! They have to show some rainbow like dreams for the unfortunate villagers.

One of the earlier promises made by Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu and his Committee members is that villages, streets, and dwelling houses, in the Capital Area will not be disturbed.

These three villages may be tiny in size. But they are all historical villages of the Kakatiya and Vijayanagara heritage.

Assuming that Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu, and his successors continue this orgy upto the year 2050, (may be Jagan, may be Congress, may be BJP, may be some Pavan's Jana Sena, may be some other coalition Govt.), what will be the fate of the Government of Andhra Pradesh, and the People ruled by it?

Let us assume that the farmers who have surrendered their agricultural farms and the dwelling villages to the Capital, get their Commercial plots, Residential plots, Apartments, on a golden plate (this may not happen because the Private Developers who take up mega projects have knack cheating, and demand international arbitration, if any dispute arises. So, await, some global commercial disputes and arbitration, intervention of Governments.). We must learn from the demands made by the European lenders and lending countries on the Government of Greece in the recent bailout negotiations?

Let us dream that Japanese or Singapore or some XYZ foreign developers spend billions of Rupees and Dollars from their kitty (this also may not really happen. Remember the Dhabol Power Project Disaster! Foreign Developers will also borrow from Indian Banks for meeting their Project costs. Hence, all risks, in essence will be borne by the lending Indian Banks, may be Public Sector Banks, even if Private Sector Banks- depositors for the Indian Private Banks are also Indian public.).

Then, what will be the fate of the A.P. Government? Most of the Residents of Apartments in Andhra Pradesh and India know paying what are known as Monthly Maintenance charges. Even for a small apartment of 600 sqft., our apartment-residents pay about Rs. 2,000 per maintenance charges. If the foreign private Developers allot some floors in their skyscrapers to A.P. Government, what will be the Monthly Maintenance Charges the Developers levy on the A.P. Government? After all, the Foreign Developers run their businesses for profit, they are not philanthropic organisations.

Government of Andhra Pradesh wasted nearly Rs. 20 billion (2,000 crore) on conducting the Godavari Pushkaras bathing festival in East and West Godavari Districts. Instead of that, had the Government made it a simpler Rs. 5 billion (500 crore) affair, the remaining Rs. 15 billion (1,500 crore) could have been used to build a small, vanilla Administrative Building Complex of 1 + 2 floors on Government lands wherever they are available READILY and DISPUTE FREE, without a need to DISLOCATE PEOPLE. If the Central Government gives another Rs. 5,000 crore (@ Rs. 1,000 crore every year), over a period of five years, we could have had a reasonably decent Capital (Not the Singapore type!).

Even now, it is not too late! The A.P. Government is going to spend another Rs. 2,000 crore on the Krishna Pushkaras (Krishna River bathing festival) in 2016. The A.P. Government can limit the festival to just Rs. 500 crore, use the remaining Rs. 1,500 crore for raising 1+2 (Ground Flour + two stairs) complexes.

Even now, I suggest that Residual Andhra Pradesh should initially build a small vanilla 1+2 or 1+5 floor Administrative Capital at small places like Nagarjuna Sagar, Nandikotkur, Atmakur, Donakonda, Jangareddigudem (where enough Govt. land is available, with nearby rivers for drinking water). Note: I do not own any plots at these places.. As a medium-term plan for 2050, we can have three Capitals one each in North Andhra, South Andhra and Rayala Seema. Cost of each can be within an upper limit of Rs. 5,000 crore each, @ Rs. 1,000 crore per annum to be collected from the Central Government.

People of Andhra Pradesh should know the reasons for Singapore's apparent prosperity. Singapore like other World Commercial Centres and Tax Havens of the World thrives on secret funds circulating in the Global Financial World. Everybody knows that these Funds are not clean! Though the people of such Global Financial Cities look wealthy and leading luxurious life, they will be undergoing great mental stress and agony, in their day-to-day manoeures to survive in the Shark-eats-man Financial Seas. Though the people of Andhra Pradesh suffered a thousand years of turmoil under Muslim invasions, colonial European rulers, attacks from Pindaris and Thugs, all those sufferings will be miniscule when compared to the stress of living in Global Financial Havens. It will be worse than the nuclear radiation emitted by leaks from CHERNOBYL or FUKUSHIMA reactors.

People of Residual Andhra Pradesh should work hard, to identify new independent Candidates, and probably some candidates from parties like CPI and CPM, for the 2019 elections. A promise should also be obtained from them that they will decentralise administration to all the three Regions, and that they will concentrate more on reviving our villages which are rotting due to Governmental and public neglect.

Shri Rayapati Sambasiva Rao is a seasoned and veteran Senior Parliament Member. Unfortunately, in Sept. 2014, he demoted himself to a level of celebrating and cutting cakes for a youthful film star like Pavan Kalyan. This is like "kunjara yUdhambu dOma kuttuka jocchen" (Elephant entering into the throat of a mosquito).

Shri Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad, a former Minister in the United A.P. Govt. is a disciple of Shri Rayapati. When Mr. Rayapati deserted Congress before 2014 Elections, Shri Dokka could not jump. He might have been regretting his decision now. His guru Shri Rayapati might have convinced him saying "Better late than, never.". Mr. Prasad used to cut cakes for his guru's birthday. We can hope that he will now continue his custom.

I read Ramayana Visha Vriksham of Ranganayakamma about 30 years back. I recollect at one place, she pointed out Shri Rama, may be for joke and irony, that Shri Rama always preferred to walk behind Lakshmana , Sita and himself at the tail, in a single filament. Her view might have been Shri Rama was more conscious about his own safety than the safety of Lakshmana in the forefront. Context: Lakshmana, Sita and Rama entered the forest as a part of their 14 year exile and they were walking towards ChitrakUTa Hills. In forests, of those days, or even now, when people walk on single-line paths with trees on both sides, there is a danger of wild animals, demons, robbers attacking the first person in the forefront. As far as I can remember, she seems to have expressed a view, may be for generating laughter, that Rama wanted to flee if there was such real danger to life. That perspective may not be correct, because Rama fought courageously with the demon Ravana in Yuddha kAnDa.

Similarly our Respectable Rayapati Sambasiva Rao may be keen on standing behind.

Neither Mr. Pavan Kalyan nor Mr. Sambasiva Rao may not take up an adventure of leading from forefront, prima facie, they are in activities of making some millions of Rupees, may be through acting in films, contracts such as Polavaram, tobacco and cotton spinning, so on, so forth.

In 1983, at Andhra Pradesh level, CPI started supporting NTR and TDP. NTR used the left parties to his own benefit. संयुक्त पुराने आंध्र प्रदेश राज्य स्थायी में, १९८३ से, सीपीऐ ऎन टी आर् को समर्धऩ करना शुरू किया। ऎन् टी आर्, वाम पक्षों को, अपने स्वार्धों के लिये उपयोग किया।

In the name of fighting with (Hindu?) communalism, and preventing BJP from coming to power, CPI went on supporting Congress, U.P.A., other bourgeoisie parties at Regional level. Finally, it lost its existence. Another problem with Communist Parties, like other bourgeoisie parties, is they do not have internal democracy. अन्य बूर्जुवा दलों के तरह, कम्यूनिस्ट दलों में भी, अंतरंग प्रजास्वाम्य नहीं है। ఇతర బూర్జువా పార్టీలలో వలెనే, కమ్యూనిస్టు పార్టీలలో కూడ అంతరంగిక ప్రజాస్వామ్యం లేదనేది అందరికీ తెలిసింది.

Getting Special Status for Residual Andhra Pradesh, Enforcement of Sec. 8 in Hyderabad City are Regional Issues which are in no way connected to proletariat or Marxism which Centre around ending the rule of the Bourgeoisie parties. Did they discuss it in State level Executive Committee Meetings? Working together does not mean just shouting slogans and burning effigies. शामिल हो कर काम करने के मतलब, सिर्फ जोर जोर तडक भडक निनाद देना, कचरे पुतलों को बनाकर दहन करना नहीं है। కలిసి పనిచేయటం అంటే కేవలం ఊరేగింపుల్లో పెద్ద గొంతులతో నినాదాలు ఇవ్వటం, దిష్టి బొమ్మలను తగలేయటం మాత్రమే కాదు.

Working together should be preceded by the exchange of principles and goals. What goals does Pavan Kalyan have? Did he study the economic problems of INdia in depth? Does he know about Marxism? Does he know about dielectical materialism? Does he know about Class Struggles which go on in Capitalist Economies? To which class does he belong, being an actor who takes millions of bucks for some meaningless dances and fights? Does he know that all his crores and wealth is robbed from poor people by showing them Escapist stuff? What efforts he has made to cleanse the Telugu Film INdustry? Can he reconcile with the idea of removing private property? What are his views about removing the Currency System and the Market Economy? What are his views about the present problems faced by Greece? (Even CPI leaders may not have any views on Greece). How will he tackle if a similar problem crops up for India? Will he prefer foreign investments or funds from World Bank? What are his views about privatisation? ON so many issues, Mr. Pavan Kalyan has a duty to reveal his mind to the people.

Why did CPI leaders forget that Pavan Kalyan canvassed for BJP in 2014 elections? Why didn't he canvass for Left Parties?

As pointed out by TDP leaders, Mr. Pavan Kalyan seems to wake up every six months, say some mumbo-jumbo, and again retreat to his nest, like the Magic Music Clock in the Salarjung Museum. As he has already earned sufficient amounts in millions of Rupees, what prevents him to take up politics full time?

Context and Gist: In Mahabharata Epic, Pandava Princes, though they were conquerers of enemies, lost their kingdom in a deceitful game of dice with Kauravas aided by Sakuni. As a part of the commitments under the betting, they had to dwell in forests for twelve years, and spend the thirteenth year incognito. If caught during the period of incognito, they will have to repeat the 13 year cycle of forest exile, and incognito existence.

In Telugu language, "samasyA pUraNam" (completion of the problem) is a great literary exercise requiring substantial capabilities and skills. Asu samasyA pUraNam (instantaneous completion of the problem) is more difficult and only accomplished poets who have the grace of Goddess Saraswati, it is believed, can alone do it. In samasyA pUraNam, the testers give the participating poet, the fourth line of a four-line verse. This fourth line will definitely have a clear meter of prosody to comply with. The poet has to furnish the first three lines for the verse, in a meaningful manner.

IN the above verse Tenali Rama was given the fourth line as "kunjara yUdhambu dOma kuttuka jochchen" which literally meant "Hoards of elephants entered the throat of a mosquito". Instantaneously, Tenali Rama supplied the first three lines of the verse "ranjana ceDi pAnDavulari bhanjanulai....vidhi nEmandunu".

The three lines filled in by Tenali Rama, depicted the pitiful condition of the invincible Pandavas who were rendered into domestic servants in the court and the gynaesium of a feudatory baron of Pandavas, by name "ViraTa". Kolvu means "court". "Kunjaras" are elephants. "dOma" is mosquito in Telugu language.

BACK TO OUR INDIAN COMMUNISTS: The INdian Communists had great past. Before 1962, they were the principal challengers to the INdian National Congress and the Jawaharlal Nehru's semi-Socialist Government. By 2015, they have been rendered into beggars at the feet of a film star. Even Communists have started depending on filmy glamor to mobilise public support.

There is another verse in Telugu language which describes downfall of persons, institutions, Governments! The simile used in that verse is River Ganges. According to INdian legends, River Ganga originally rested on Lord Shiva's (Shankara or mahAdEva) head, and at the feet of Lord VishNu. King Bhagiratha did great penance to please Lord Shiva, with inimitable and unmatched perseverance. Goal of the penance was to take River Ganges to Earth. Lord Shiva fulfilled Bhagiratha's desire, and Ganga ran to the ground from North to South East of INdia, till it melted down into the Bay of Bengal.

During its journey in North INdia through the States of Uttaranchal, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Bengal, country Bangla Desh, the River Ganges collects all types of garbage, sewer waters, dead bodies, this and that, and becomes totally filthy by the time it reaches the Sea. The poet (I believe it is yEnugu lakshmaNa kavi) uses this condescension and decay of Ganga to the downfall of a wise person who surrenders to and degenerates to abject debasement under pressures of temptations and addictions.

స్తోకాంబోధిఁ, బయోధి నుండి పవనాంథోలోకముం జేరె గం

AkASambu nunDi Sambhuni Siramb, andunDi SItAdri, su-
SlOkambaina himAdri nunDi bhuvi, bhUlOkambu nandunDi ya-
stOkAmbOdhi, payOdhi nunDi pavanAndhO lokamun cEre gan-

आकसंबु नुंडि शंभुनि शिरंबु, अंदुंडि शीताद्रि, सु-
श्लोकंबैन हिमाद्रि नुंडि भुवि, भूलोकंबु नंदुंडि अ-
स्तोकांबोधि, पयोधि नुंडि पवनांधो लोकमुन् चेरॆ गं-
गा कूलंकष, पॆक्कु भंगुलु विवेक भ्रष्ठ संपातमुल्।

The last line is the key. Ganga kUlankasha. kUlankasha is the attributive adjective for the River Ganga, depicting her as cleanser of all sins. "pekku bhangulu" is Telugu phrase for "different types". Different types of what? "vivEka bhrashTha" Telugu phrase means person who has downfallen from Virtuosity. "pAtamu" itself means falling. "sam" prefix magnifies the intensity of the downfall. The downfall is not ordinary. It is a compounded downfall.
Akasambu nundi = from the sky. (This verse is silent about Ganga River emanating from the feet of LOrd VishNu).
Sambhuni Sirambu = the manes of Lord Shiva.
andunDi SItAdri = from there to the Hills of the Snow i.e. Himalayas.
SuSlOkambu is again attributive adjective for the Himalayas.
bhuvi is the Earth.
From the Earthly world to the boundless Ocean.
From the Depths of the Sea to the Nether World.

The downfall of the Brave and Wise Indian Communists is not unknown to Indian Citizens. Indians have accepted it as something which is an integral part of their total post-independence mess arising from corrosion of the INdian Society from the Market Economy and its monetisation. When Indian Communists collect donations from liquor contractors and when Maoists collect donations from Forest and Mining Contracts, Indians do not frown. Indian people have a tendency to accept everything as a part of their karma (Fruits of accumulated sins of past and present births).

ybrao-a-donkey's note: This is a very old proverb of Telugu language. As per the proverb, entering into huts of gypsies, by the moral preachers, is for the presumed purpose of prostitution. The word "dommari" meant drimmari or tramps. Some tramps of those days (some centuries back) might have been forced into enter into prostitution for survival as they do not have their own agricultural farms. Anyway, this WIDE VARIANCE between preaching and practice is a world-wide phenomenon, common in all cultures, Nations, and Religions. It is very difficult to maintain impartiality for a writer.  हमारे जैसे छोटे लेखक लोगों को निष्पक्षपात रहित दिखना कभी कभी मुष्किल होता है।  మాలాంటి చిన్న రచయితలకు నిష్పక్షపాతంగా కనిపించేలా వ్రాయటం చాల కష్టం.   సంస్కృతంలో ఒక లోకోక్తి ఉంది.  సత్యం బ్రూయత్, ప్రియం బ్రూయత్, నబ్రూయత్ సత్యం అప్రియం.  దీని అర్ధం ఏమిటంటే, నిజం చెప్పు, ప్రియం చెప్పు, అప్రియమైన సత్యాన్ని చెప్పద్దు.   అయితే ఈ సూక్తి రాజుల దగ్గర, జమీందార్ల దగ్గర, పెద్దవ్యాపారుల దగ్గర సేవలు చేసే వాళ్ళు వాడుకోవాల్సింది.  ఎందుకంటే వాళ్ళకి కోపం వస్తే, కొరడా దెబ్బలు తగలచ్చు, లేకపోతే రావాల్సిన అనుగ్రహ రాశులు రాకపోవచ్చు.

 అందరూ భజనపరులే అయితే, రాజుగారు కట్టుకున్న దేవతా వస్త్రాలు ఉత్తుత్తివే అని చెప్పటానికి తనకి ఏది లాభమో, ఏది నష్టమో పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకోలేని బాలుడు కావాల్సి వస్తుంది.

 నా అభిప్రాయం ఏమిటంటే, మనం ప్రియమైనా, అప్రియమైనా సత్యాన్ని చెప్పాల్సిందే.   ప్రియమా కాదా అనేది కాదు చూసుకోవాల్సింది.  ప్రజలకి హితమా కాదా అనేది చూసుకోవాలి.  హితం అంటే మేలు చేస్తుందా, చేయదా, అని.  కొన్ని సార్లు మనం మేలు చేసే విషయాలను చెప్పినా జనం బూతులు తిట్తూ ఉంటారు.  దానికి మనం సిధ్ధపడాల్సిందే.   ఇక్కడ సంస్కృతంలో ఒక శ్లోకాన్ని గుర్తుకు తెచ్చుకుంటే, మనం గ్లాని స్థానంలో మనో స్థైర్యాన్ని పొందుతాం.

ఇది భర్తృహరి మహాకవి విరచితం.  దీని భావం, నీతి నిపుణులైన వారు నిందించినా , డబ్బులు (లక్ష్మి) వచ్చినా పోయినా, ఈక్షణమే మరణం వచ్చినా, యుగాంతంలో వచ్చినా, ధీరులైన వాళ్ళు న్యాయమైన మార్గం నుండి చరించరు.  ఇపుడు శ్రీ రాజశేఖర్ రెడ్డిగారు చూడండి, షుమారు లక్షకోట్ల దాకా జగన్ కి సంపాదించి పెట్టి ఏమి మూటకట్టుకున్నట్లు.  కనీసం చీపురు పుల్లకూడ స్మశానానికి రాలేదు.  సాదా గానే మట్టిలో కలిసిపోవాల్సి వచ్చింది.  శ్రీజగన్ పితృవియోగం లోంచి తగినంత నీతిని వైరాగ్యాన్ని పొందుతాడని మనలో కొందరు ఆశించి ఉండచ్చు.  అలా జరగలేదు.

శ్రీ జగన్, సోనియాలు వారు తిరిగి అధికారంలోకి వచ్చే దాకా వారిని మనం పెద్దగా పట్టించుకోవాల్సిన అవసరం ఉండదు.  అధికారం పోగొట్టుకున్న వాళ్ళు సగం చచ్చిన పాములతో సమానులే, ఎందుకంటే, లోకం వాళ్ళను పట్టించుకోదు.  వాళ్ళు తాము పోగొట్టుకున్న అధికారాన్ని చేజిక్కించుకోటానికి ఏవో ప్రయత్నాలు చేస్తూ ఉంటారు.  రకరకాల చప్పుళ్ళు ఆరోపణలు చేస్తూ ఉంటారు.  వారికి చట్టసభలలో తగినంత బలం ఉంటే తప్ప వాళ్ళు ఎంత గింజుకున్నా , బుస కొట్టినా ప్రయోజనం ఉండదు.  వాళ్ళు బుసకొట్టటమే తప్ప ప్రజలకు చేయగలిగే మేలు, కానీ కీడు కానీ పెద్దగా ఉండదు.  వారు తాము పదవి కోల్పోయిన కాలాన్ని అంతర్ వీక్షణ (introspection, अंतर वीक्षण, अंतर दर्शन) కొరకు వినియోగించి, మద్యపాన వ్యతిరేక ప్రచారం, ఖాదీ ప్రచారం, విద్యా ప్రచారం, వ్యవసాయం, నీటి వనరుల పరిరక్షణ మొదలగు రాజకీయేతర అంశాలలో నిర్మాణాత్మక కృషి చేస్తే, పదవిలేని ఐదు సంవత్సరాలు ఉస్సూరు మనకుండా నల్లేరు మీద బండిలాగా గడిచి పోతాయి.  వాళ్ళు అలా చేయకుండా అధికార పక్షం పై విరుచుకు పడటం వల్ల ప్రజలకు అనవసరమైన  బాధలు కలుగుతున్నాయి.


మీరు నా బ్లాగ్ యొక్క ముఖ్య లక్ష్యాన్ని చదివినట్లు లేదు.  అది నాస్తికత్వాన్ని, సమతా వాదాన్ని, మార్క్సిజాన్ని ప్రచారం చేయటం.  నా దృష్టిలో వ్యక్తుల ప్రవర్తన పెట్టుబడి విధానం, న్యాయమా అన్యాయమా అనే పట్టించుకోకుండా అతితక్కువ సమయంలో అతిఎక్కువ డబ్బు సంపాదించాలనే దురాశ చేత అతి తీవ్రంగా ప్రభావితం అవుతుంది.  కుక్క అతి తీవ్రమైన వాసన వచ్చే కుళ్ళిన ఎముకనే అమృతతుల్యంగా భావించినట్లుగా,  అంబానీ, టాటా, ల దగ్గరనుండి గుంటూరు సిటీలో రేషన్ కిరసనాయిలును లీటర్ యాభయి రూపాయలకి విక్రయించే అవ్వ వరకు, ప్రతివాళ్ళూ డబ్బుకు లోకం దాసోహం గా ఇటీజ్ ఎ మాడ్ మాడ్ వరల్డ్ గా మారి, తమ జీవితాలను దుఃఖ మయంగా చేసుకోటమే కాకుండా, తమ చుట్టూ ఉండే వాళ్ళ జీవితాలను కూడ దుఃఖమయంగా చేయటాన్ని మనం చూస్తున్నాం.  దీనిలో మనం తప్పు పట్టాల్సింది టాటాను కాదు, కిరోసిన్ బ్లాక్ చేసే అవ్వనూ కాదు.  వాళ్ళంతా తోలు బొమ్మలు లాంటి వాళ్ళు.  అసలు విలన్ లు పెట్టుబడిదారీ విధానం, ప్రైవేటు ఆస్తి, వారసత్వ సంక్రమణాలు, సత్తుకు అసత్తుకు, చిత్తుకు జడానికి గల తేడాని గుర్తించే శక్తిని కోల్పోటం.

ఆంగ్లంలో ఒక సామెత ఉంది.  దీ పీపుల్ గెట్ ది గవర్నమెంట్ దే డిజర్వు.  ప్రజలు ఎలాంటి ప్రభుత్వాన్ని పొందటానికి అర్హులో, అలాంటి ప్రభుత్వాన్నే పొందుతారు.   సమాజంలో వర్గాల పాత్రను గుర్తించి, సరియైన సిధ్ధాంతాలను ఏర్పరుచుకోలేని, ఒక్క రోజైనా తమ దురలవాట్లను ప్రక్కన పెట్టుకోలేని కోట్లాది మంది ప్రజలు వోట్లు వేసినపుడు మోడీలు, సోనియాలు, చం.బా. నాయుళ్ళు, రాజశేఖర్ రెడ్లు, జగన్ లు ఇంకా ఎందరో అధికారంలోకి రావటం, ఒక ఐదేళ్ళో పదేళ్ళో ప్రజలను పీడించటం మనం చూస్తున్నాం.

కాబట్టి మిత్రమా, మనం రాగ ద్వేషాలనుండి, వ్యక్తి పూజలనుండి, వ్యక్తి ద్వేషాలనుండి బయట పడటం తక్షణ అవసరం.  లేదంటే, ౨౦౧౯ నాటికి మనపై చీకట్లు ఇంకా ఎక్కువ ముసురుతాయి.

నేను ఇక్కడ చేస్తున్నది ఏకాకి ప్రయత్నం.  చండీగఢ్ నగరంలో నేకీ చంద్ అనే వ్యక్తి మునిసిపల్ చెత్త పారేసే గ్రౌండ్ లో పారేసిన గాజు పింగాణీ ఇతర ముక్కలను వినియోగించి కొన్ని తనకు నచ్చిన బొమ్మలను తయారు చేసుకున్నాడు.  ఇపుడు శ్రీ నేకీచంద్ స్వర్గస్థుడయ్యారు.  మనం చండీఘర్ వెళ్ళినపుడు నేకీచంద్ మ్యూజియాన్ని చూడచ్చు.  ఆయన స్ఫూర్తితో నేను ఇంటర్ నెట్ లో ౧౫,౦౦౦ ఏ౪ పేజీలు దాకా వ్రాయటం జరిగింది.  వీటిల్లో ౮౦ శాతం దాకా ఆంగ్లం.  ఇపుడిపుడే తెలుగులో హిందీలో ఎక్కువగా వ్రాస్తున్నాను.  దురదృష్టవశాత్తు శ్రీమోడీని, శ్రీ బాబుని ఎక్కువగా విమర్శించటం జరిగింది.  వారు ప్రస్తుతం అధికారంలో ఉండటం ఒక కారణం కావచ్చు.  అంతే తప్ప బాబు ద్వేషం కాని, జగన్ పై అనురాగం గానీ లేదు.   నిస్సంగం (without attachment or hatred) గానే వ్రాయటం జరిగింది.

South Indian Music tune (popularly called Carnatic Music) has well-organised and neatly structured classification system, when compared to Western Music, North Indian Music (Hindusthani Music).

North Indian Music does not bother much about tunes (rAgAs) of dual tone notes, such as two rishabhas (c# and d), two gandharas(d# and e), two madhyamas (f and f#), two dhaivatas (g# and a) and two nishadas (a# and b) in the same octave.  The Hindusthani Music simply calls such use of anya svaras as 'misr' (mixed) and entertain them, as long as they do not miss in melody.  But, there is no effort, to scientifically organise them.  

Salagam is a parent tune (janaka rAga), bearing mELakarta No. 25, which uses both c# and d, g# and a, while omitting the traditional gandhars (d# and e) and traditional nishads (a# and b).

 Real life experience, semi-autobiographical.  Whenever, I go outstation, to my son's houses, sometimes, I carry my flute with me as a part of my luggage, to carry out my early morning practice there.  As my flute is somewhat bass, it is slightly longer than common flutes, and it naturally protrudes from bags.  Such protrusions, rarely other passengers bother about.  

Recent depiction of flute playing in one Telugu film Gopala Gopala in which Hero Pavan Kalyan is hero, seems to have generated some interest in flutes and dancing to steps.  In one railway station, a youth of 20 years, a student asked me about my flute out of curiosity.  He took it and tried to make some sound out of it.  Because of lack of practice or preliminary knowledge, or owing to an unwillingness to make sufficient effort, he could not produce any sounds.  He forgot to remember that Pavan Kalyan was holding flute and dancing as per director's instructions, and that it will take several months , if not several years, to master a musical instruments, particularly the INDIAN MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS.   Then he asked me:  

'How many days, it will take to learn flute?'

I: About three months, to get basic fingering.

He: Can't we learn in 15 days?

I could not reply.

This is rubbish. I’ve said it not less than a thousand times that the first Telangana CM will be a Dalit. We have not zeroed in on a name right now, but there are so many leaders. When the occasion comes, we will evolve a consensus on a Dalit CM. The Telangana society is in such a mood that nobody can rule here unless they bring us statehood. It is ultimately a political decision. Let wisdom prevail on the Prime Minister and Sonia Gandhi that they deliver on the promise they made to the people of Telangana.
