1071 It may not be sufficient to have a strong ITCH to prove that somebody is corrupt!

Shri G.V.L. Narasimha Rao, hailing from Residual A.P., Rajya Sabha B.J.P. Member elected from Uttar Pradesh, appears to be a person in a hurry to prove that Shri Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, and the Ruling Telugu Desam Party are corrupt, and are to be dislodged immediately. Shri Naidu may, or may not be corrupt. In fact, how many Chief Ministers and Ruling Parties of the 29 States in India can genuinely escape the taint of "Corruption" ? I get an impression that somebody from behind is prodding him from behind to show his mettle, so as to justify his anointment to Rajya Sabha (Upper House of Parliament in India).

This post is incomplete. Shall try to complete shortly.

1027 Ms. Mayawati is searching for water in mirages (Some Musings of yb-a-donkey on Ms. Mayawati's desire to convert to Buddhism)

Ms. Mayawati, A Veteran Indian Politician, the BSP Party Supremo, has cautioned the India's Ruling Party BJP: "I throw an open challenge to the BJP to change its casteist and communal mindset towards Dalits, Adivasis, Backwards and also those who have changed their religion or else I will also have to take a decision towards changing my religion to Buddhism". Read more at: Click here to see the full news link at EconomicTimes.IndiaTimes.com..

ybrao-a-donkey's personal views which are not intended to be imposed on others

Changing one's own Religion is like replacing one mill-stone in the neck with another mill-stone.

1. Like most other major World Religions, Buddhism also though preaches noble precepts, when it comes to practice, it tends to be as brutal as all other religions. Examples of proof: See how the SriLankan Government suppressed the freedoms of Sri Lankan Tamils, at the instance of some Sri Lankan Buddhist fanatics? See how the Myanmar (Burmah) Government is oppressing all the Rohingyas, at the instance of some Burmese Buddhist fanatics, simply some Rohingyas might have violently revolted against them? Where did the Gautama Buddha's Preachings of Tolerance go?

2. Buddhist Scriptures Tripitakas, contains Codes of Behaviors for Buddhist Monks and Nuns. It can be found from a careful study of these scriptures, that in treating female Nuns, they appear to be worse than Islam. For examples of moral codes imposed on Buddhist Bhikkunis in ancient Buddhism, my readers can visit my blog Buddhism3.blogspot.com.: Click here to go to Buddhism3.blogspot.com.. I believe that Ms. Mayawati, as a politician, did not have time to study Buddhism in depth. Before ad-venturing into unknown waters, it will be better in her own interest, and also in the interest of this country, she needs to study Buddhism in depth, before embracing it.

3. If Ms. Mayawati feels that Hinduism (more precisely BJP's Pseudo Hindutva) is intolerant towards dalits, a better choice for her will be to go for 'irreligiousness / irreligiosity' or religion-less-ness. Then she will get rid of all the bonds and shackles of past, in one go.

4. BJP is not the sole Custodian of Hinduism in India. Even Ms. Mayawati, can also become a champion of Hinduism or Hindutva, as long as she does not become a fanatic.

5. Hinduism is not a religion founded by one prophet or person. Hinduism is an evolved culture, through thousands of years history, truth-investigative nature of its original inhabitants, additions-modifications-deletions made by invaders and migrants into the country. Out of the invading / migrating cultures, only Islam and Christianity remained aloof, owing to pressures from their Arab-Turkish and European Benefactors and Masters who pull the strings of the Indian Puppets. It is hightime for the Indian Branches of those two alien religions, to adapt themselves to the Culture of their Mother Land i.e. India. Other invaders/migrants have merged into the Indian Culture long back.

6. Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, are only Reformative Branches of Indian Culture, and hence they are Branches of HInduism only. Basavanna Movement of Karnataka is also a Reformative Movement of Hinduism.

7. Swamijis, Shankaracharyas, Mathadhipatis, etc. etc. are not bosses of Hinduism. Are they elected by Hindus? Ms. Mayawati is unnecessarily giving-attributing undeserving authority and powers to the Swamijis, Shankaracharyas, Mathadhipatis.

8. Like Shri Prof. Kancha Ilaiah, who has launched a vitriolic book on 'vysyas' a traditionally merchant/trading community of INdia (now all communities/castes are engaged in trade), Ms. Mayawati also seems to be searching for her lost monies under a street light, ignoring the place where she has lost her monies. It is high time she starts a Truly Socialist Democratic Movement in India, attracting all the suffering poor in India.

9. Social Backwardness and Financial Backwardness are not mutually exclusive. Where there is economic deprivation, there will be social deprivation, and vice versa. Because she has amassed about some Rs. 500 crore (as per news reports), she cannot overlook the pitiable conditions of the poor people in India, to whatever CASTE, RELIGION they may belong to. Actually, the occupation of a person/family will determine his-her socio-economic backwardness. Birth, too has its importance, but its importance pertains more to inheritance of wealth. It is true that some radical reforms are needed in this area, but such reforms are possible only through Total True Socialism.

10. Though Congress has ruled for about 60 years, which may be a short time in the history of a country, but a long period in the history of a party, now, it has lost its longevity. Political Parties in India, ordinarily, have only short tenures. Congress too has entered that groove of its mortality. BJP may not be an exception, even if Mr. Narendra Modi is going to have one more chance of ruling this country from 2019 to 2024. Hence, Ms. Mayawati need not worry about BJP.

Question: Why True Total Socialism? Why not Reservations?

Ans: There is a beautiful ever memorable dialogue of Late Rao Gopala Rao in Silver Jubilee Telugu film 'Mutyala Muggu, released a few decades back:

Approx. English equivalent: Once God appeared to a devotee, and asked him to choose a boon. The devotee asked God: "Make hair sprout on the ear lobes of my Maternal Uncle". The God okayed it, and disappeared. The devotee went back home happily. Hairs sprouted in Maternal Uncle's Ears, i.e. the Devotee's desire (boon) got fulfilled. But his objective of becoming rich through inheritance from his Uncle did not get fulfilled.

Reason: The devotee was under a superstitious belief that if hairs sprout in Maternal Uncle's Ear lobes, his nephews will inherit fortunes from him. Hence the devotee asked for that boon from God: "Sprout hair in the ear lobes of my Uncle".

When God appeared before the devotee, if the devotee is prudent, he would have directly asked for a boon of "Make me rich" or some thing else equal to it. By asking for hair on Uncle's earlobes, the devotee squandered his opportunity.

In the same way, those who claim to be, and those want to improve the abominable conditions of the socio-economically deprived classes in this country, instead of Clamoring for Reservations, have to work for True Total Socialism in India, through democratic means.

957 Congratulations to DeccanChronicle.com, and its cartoonist Subhani, for their futurologistic predictive cartoon!

We shall start with congratulating the DeccanChronicle.com and their cartoonist Subhani for their futurologistic predictive cartoon which is very very imaginative and realistic about the future socio-politic-environment of this country. It is about the supporters of Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of India's 200 million populated State, Uttar Pradesh, winning which becomes a life and death problem for Indian Political Parties. I do not know whether the supporters of Mr. Adityanath has the active / tacit approval / encouragement of their master for the Campaign. Worship of persons in power existed in post-independent-India even during the tenures of Jawaharlal Nehru, and Indira Gandhi when they were Prime Ministers. In 2017, the worship has assumed ugly and vulgar dimensions. But, in case of U.P., a sanyAsi (monk) like Mr. Yogi Adityanath is expected to actively-openly discourage such chants as “Pradesh mein rehna hai to Yogi Yogi kehna hai (Chant Yogi Yogi if you want to live in the state)”. So far, he has not displayed any such aversion-dislike for SELF-PUBLICITY.

SELF-DEIFICATION EXISTED AND COMPELLING OTHERS TO CHANT THE NEW GOD'S NAME EXISTED EVEN IN THE MYTHOLOGICAL AGE OF KRITA YUGA.

Indian Cultural beliefs envisage four eras of virtuosity. 1. Krita Yuga. 2. trEtA yuga. 3. dvApara yuga. 4. kali yuga. The quality of VIRTUOSITY has been personified into GODDESS DHARMA. She is depicted as cow with four legs. In the first age Krita yuga, the Cow of Virtuosity walks with four legs. In Treta (three) yuga it walks with three legs. In dvApara (two) yuga, it walks with two legs. In kali yuga, it limps with only one leg.

Example of HIRANYA KASIPA in Krita Yuga

Indian equivalent for 'demons' is 'rAkshasa' which means one who protects (raksha). How protectors have become demons? That is the peculiarity of Aryan Mythologies. Now, this Hiranya KaSipa, had become most powerful of his days, owing to great penance. Hence, he wants his own name to be chanted, instead of his bete noir Aryan Supreme God's name : 'Vishnu'. HiraNya Kasipa's own son PrahlAda was taught by Sage nArada to chant VishNu's name.

In the 21st Century Indian Politico-mythology, who is Vishnu and who is Hiranya Kasipa? Mr. Narendra Modi or Mr. Yogi Adityanath?

TIMING OF THE COINCIDENCE OF REOPENING OF BABRI MASJID DESTRUCTION CASE AGAINST MR. L.K. ADVANI, MURALI MANOHAR JOSHI et al. WITH THE ELECTION OF PRESIDENT OF INDIA

As anticipated and predicted, the reopening of Babri Masjid Destruction case under instructions of Supreme Court has occurred in coincidence with the Indian Presidential Election. Now, 'pending cases against Mr. Advani and Mr. Joshi' can be cited and used as pretexts for denying them and preventing them to stake and try their claim to be Presidents of India. AchArya dEvObhavA (English: Preceptor is God). This precept is intended to be taught in schools, like 'satyamEva jayatE' (Truth alone triumphs). They do not apply to Prime Ministers, Chief Ministers and Presidents.

It is high time that Mr. L.K. Advani brings out his hidden face from beneath the obscure sands of opportunism, and come out openly shedding conceit, and express what he thinks honestly and frankly about what is happening in this country to him and his party.

948 India should make proper Anti-Conversion LAWs / Conversion with Complete Awareness laws to prevent interference of Foreign Nationals in India's Internal Affairs

It is high time that Government of India enacts appropriate anti-conversion / conversion with complete awareness and consciousness laws to prevent interference of Foreign Nationals in India's Internal Affairs. India has its own set of internal problems arising out of over-population, poverty, ignorance, illiteracy, religious bigotry, inequalities of income and wealth etc., which it is trying to overcome with massive effort. Foreign Nationals and Foreign Religious Organisations, with probable encouragement from at least some of their respective native Governments seem to be interfering into India's Internal Affairs, by bringing in religious strife, through conversions. Though Constitution of India permits Freedom of Religion, such freedoms are available to Indian Nationals, and not to Foreign Tourists and Foreign Religious Organisations, and such freedoms cannot be extended to FOREIGN REMITTANCES SENT BY SPONSORS. Foreign Religious Organisations seem to be doing it in the guise of Service to Poor, while their primary objective is to convert people. During Prayer Meetings and Preachings, an erroneous impression is created that diseases will be cured, personal problems will be solved, if prayers are made to the New God. Such preachings will be foolish, because it is universally believed that God is only one, while religions approach him with different names. For the purpose of inducing conversions, it also appears that monetary help also is promised with the help of the foreign remittances from sponsors.

A few quotes from the reports:--
SHO, Dathauli, Anand Kumar Gupta said no prior permission was taken for the meeting, which was held ahead of Good Friday. "We stopped the prayer meeting after a complaint was registered. A probe is underway and appropriate action will be taken if the charges are found to be correct," he said.

"...mass was held there quite often but as this time foreigners were involved, the HYV suspected that conversion was going on. ..."

"The presence of US nationals indicates that innocent and illiterate Hindus were being converted by missionaries who lured them with money to change their religion," alleged HYV leader Krishna Nandan, who surrounded the church with his supporters yesterday afternoon.

ybrao donkey's views which are not intended to be imposed on others

Why should foreign tourists have interest in interior remote areas of Indian States?
If Governments both Central and State fail to intervene with appropriate anti-conversion laws / laws for conversions only with court orders which are to be made issuable after hearing not only applicants, but also objections from the society, after testing the 'awareness levels' of the applicants about the merits of X God (new God) over the Y God (Old God), how the applicants came to that conclusion etc. by asking penetrating questions, and examining evidence. Converting birth religion cannot be as easy as peeling the skin of a banana fruit.

Conversions, if at all absolutely unavoidable, should be permitted on a limited scale, so that the demographic mix of the Society and the Nation is not disturbed, causing religious dis-harmonies, and feelings of insecurity. anyway large scale group/batch conversions cannot be done by promising miracle cures and cash incentives. People undergoing conversions cannot be treated like milk bottles/sachets rolling on a conveyer belt in a dairy.

Now that BJP has secured good majorities in both the Houses of the Parliament, State Assemblies, it may not be difficult for the Governments to design and pass a good Anti-Conversion Bill.

FOREIGN TOURISTS VISITING PRAYER HOUSES SHOULD BE ACCOMPANIED BY POLICE

This will serve two purposes. 1. If some foreigners make instigating speeches, the Police can immediately caution them, and if they persist with their propaganda, police can book cases against them.
2. Foreigners can be protected from molestations, rapes, robberies, cheating-s by unscrupulous persons. The accompanying escort can help on the spot.

CONVERSIONS BUSINESS WITH FOREIGN FUNDS

This lucrative business has become rampant. Foreign Sponsors seem to give numeric monthly / yearly targets to make conversions, for granting renewal of donations and monthly support. It is high time that Government of India bars foreign remittances and donations altogether.

WHEN INDIA PASSES AN APPROPRIATE ANTI CONVERSION / AWARENESS-CONSCIOUS CONVERSION LAW, IT MAY INFURIATE EUROPEAN, NORTH AMERICAN, ANZ COUNTRIES

India's Embassies abroad are to be strengthened with staff trained in Indian Anti-Conversion Laws. India cannot exhibit a belligerant mode/mood. Some persuasive soothing work will have to be done by Indian Embassies abroad. India can probably make some reciprocative promises such as 'Promise to discourage Indians and Indian Organizations operating abroad, from converting others into Hinduism,' though Hinduism is not a religion by its very nature. Hindu Culture has no practice of spreading itself through conversions. Besides, Hinduism is POLYTHEIST i.e. it permits to pray Gods /Goddesses / Forces of Nature (prithvi, Apas, tEjo, vAyur, AkAsh i.e. earth, water, fire, air, sky) in millions of names, including Jesus and Allah. Hinduism permits both modes i.e. without symbolic idols (nirguNa) and with symbolic idols (saguNa). When a person moves from idol worship to contemplation-meditation without idols, it is regarded as a promotion in the spiritual ladder. Many Hindus visit Churches, Mosques, quite often. This tolerance makes them vulnerable targets to foreign vultures who run Conversion Business. On the other hand it is Christianity and Islam which prohibit their practitioners from worshiping/praying God with any name of their choice. They are keen on converting others, as if God allots targets for conversions.

928 By 2019, Yogi Adityanath may become what Mr. Narendra Modi has become to L.K. Advani in 2014 !

Triggers for this particular blog post: 1. Elevation of Yogi Adityanath as New Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, for the five year term 2017-22. (Click here to study the biodata of Yogi Adityanath at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yogi_Adityanath . 2. Andhrajyothy.Com's lengthy in-depth intensive-extensive Editorial, on the methodology of working of Shri Narendra Modi. (Click to go to) http://www.andhrajyothy.com/artical?SID=384174. To start with: Yogi Adityanath's Elevation to the Chief Ministership of Uttar Pradesh, by the BJP Party and RSS, is not unforeseen. Earlier, we were having a duet of Mr. Narendra Modi and Mr. Amit Shah. Now onwards, we shall have a triple-trumpet of Mr. Modi, Mr. Shah, and Mr. Adityanath. But the rise and admission of Shri Yogi Adityanath into the triplet, may not end there. It is a sort of 'history repeats', in the sense that in 2002 what Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee (the then BJP's Prime Minister), and Mr. L.K. Advani (the then Dy. Prime Minister, and the alter ego of Mr. Vajpayee) have done to Mr. Narendra Modi by elevating him as Chief Minister of Gujarat, now, the twins of Mr. Narendra Modi and Mr. Amit Shah are doing to Yogi Adityanath.

Thanks and suggestions to AndhraJyothy.com, with no malice to them

Their Editorial will have National and Global Editorial value, if their Editorial is translated into English, and text version / audio-visual versions are placed on internet. It is high time that Andhrajyothy.com employs an English translator (or acquire a suitable software) to translate their key Editorials into English language, and posting them on Net.

Views of ybrao-a-donkey which are not intended to be imposed on others, and with no malice towards AndhraJyothy, Mr. Narendra Modi, Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu, and Mr. Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy.

Some of the points observed in the Andhra Jyothy's Editorial, I shall vent-out, when I get some time in future. Right now, I shall take up the chief observation made by the Editorial, at its top:

Approx. English gist of the above:
BJP's top leadership is eager that it should consolidate itself on its own, though its ally Telugu Desam Party is in power, in Andhra Pradesh. It transpired that, BJP is carrying out negotiations behind the screen, with YCP (YSR Congress Party of Mr. Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, popularly called Jagan).

It transpired that when a condition was made (to Jagan & Co.) that Jaganmohan Reddy should merge his party in BJP, if he wants to get liberation from cases against him (inference: Quid pro quo cases against him filed by CBI, for his disproportionate assets), Jagan & Co. was said to have explained to BJP that if he does it first (merges his party into BJP), Muslims and Christians with him- will move away, and that will cause loss. One important leader belonging to YCP has confirmed that it was true that negotiations took place.

Why should Mr. Modi have any hesitation in respect of Jagan in A.P. (towards allying with Jagan), when Mr. Modi had got ready to join his hands with Sasikala, who was the Chief pioneer-director for corruption in Tamil Nadu?

Some of my Readers seem to feel, and also I seem to have given an impression to my Readers, that I am not sufficiently criticising Mr. Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, the Opposition in Leader in Andhra Pradesh, for his numerous failures and shorcomings. I owe an explanation for this, I had done it earlier, I am repeating again:

Reasons for my not being able to cover Mr. Jagan's drawbacks adequately: 1. Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy is not in power today. 2. His future will be decided by Courts. Only wish is, that they should decide it before 2019 Elections. 3. My focus and stress are more on bourgeoisie behaviors, which is a part of my aim of promoting true total socialism in India, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana. From the point of view of Total True Socialism, all the rulers of World Today, all the rulers of India Today, and all the Rulers of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana today, fall in similar categories. ONLY SHADES differ by some small hex-numbers. (Computers colors which can be displayed on screen are estimated to have maximum limit of 256 x 256 x 256 red, green, blue, starting with 000000 for black, and ending up with ffffff for white, totalling 16,777,216 colors). All our rulers from Donald Trump to Vladimir Putin, Narendra Modi to Jaganmohan Reddy, Chandra Babu Naidu, Yodi Adityanath have their colors and shades within this spectrum of 000000-ffffff. Sometimes bureaucrats and politicians may change their colors like chameleones, with astonishing and exceptional speeds.

Andhra Jyothy, one of the top newspapers&TV channels of Telugu language, seems to have a reputation of being the mouthpiece of the Ruling Telugu Desam Party, and its leader Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu. This impression (may- or maynot be misplaced) among Readers/Viewers, it is hightime, that the MediaHouse tries to wipe out gradually.

As a result of this impression that AndhraJyothy.com is the mouthpiece of Mr. Naidu, a further impression may arise, that Andhrajyothy , suddenly felt an urgency to write a long editorial about Mr. Modi's ways of compromising with ethics, in an attempt to consolidate BJP in non-BJP ruled States, got momentum only at the instance of Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu. All these 2 1/2 years, almost all the newspapers/channels in Andhra Pradesh have been singing praises of Mr. Modi, even during Demonetization.

It will give a great relief if AndhraJyothy raises all the questions about Mr. Modi's unethical ways, independently, consistently. Mr. Chandra Babu did not have any qualms in supporting Mr. Modi, all these 30 months (2014 -2017), and he has become a HMV (His Master Voice) of Mr. Narendra Modi. Jagan too, so as to save himself from CBI cases, wanted to be HMV of Mr. Modi. Thus, it has become an eternal triangle of Hollywood/Bollywood/Kollywood/Tollywood Cinema, with "two beloveds and one lover hero". Then automatically jealousies might have stepped in.

926 Does Mr. Narendra Modi really love Indian farmers, particularly the marginal farmers and the tenant farmers?

Our Indian politicians, like their world counterparts, both the seasoned politicians like Mr. Narendra Modi, and the newbies and wannabes like Mr. Pavan Kalyan know nothing but political convenience, expediency, and opportunism. Clarification: I am not against agricultural debt relief measures or agricultural loan waivers in India, the country which tops in farmer suicides. But I feel sad when such a compassionate noble measure like agricultural debt relief is used as a tool for winning elections right from the days of the 'Thief Congress (as per Mr. Modi's view)' to the rein of 'Honest BJP'. Agricultural Debt Relief, like demonetization is not a 'Push button and speak to Nation' operation. Like demonetization, dozens of factors have to be taken into consideration, while drawing a scheme which is to benefit truly suffering farmers. Mr. Narendra Modi, in his hurry to win the Uttara Pradesh and Uttara Khand elections 2017 forgot to do his homework.

MR. NARENDRA MODI'S OWN GOVERNMENT CRITICISED AGRICULTURAL LOAN WAIVERS IN ANDHRA PRADESH AND TELANGANA STATES, AND ASKED THOSE STATE GOVERNMENTS TO MOBILISE THEIR OWN FUNDS!

To start with, those wish to have a look at /download some photos of Mr. Narendra Modi, wearing myriad caps. At this web page there are about 27 photos of Mr. Narendra Modi, wearing different types of headgear: Click here to go to https://www.scoopwhoop.com/inothernews/namo-wearing-hats/, and see/download 27 photos.

868 We should never underestimate bourgeoisie politicians. They are canny (worldly wise) and know what they want

We should never underestimate bourgeoisie politicians. They are canny (worldly wise) and and they know what they want. Mr. Narendra Modi, the crowd-pulling Prime Minister of India, said in Lucknow, Capital of Uttar Pradesh State, on 2nd January 2017, in preparation to State Assembly Elections in that State: ""People of the state have already seen politics of caste and family... For once rise above caste and vote only for development in the elections and see whether UP changes or not". Here is a link, to read important components of his 2016 Jan. Lucknow speech: Click to go to http://zeenews.india.com/uttar-pradesh/lucknow-rally-pm-modi-slams-rival-parties-urges-people-of-up-to-vote-for-progress_1963809.html. Incidentally, Supreme Court has also, giving a wider meaning to Sec. 123 of Representation of People Act, advised to stamp out the use of religion and community affiliation from elections. Here is a link to study the Supreme Court's direction: http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/politicians-cannot-seek-votes-in-name-of-caste-creed-or-religion-supreme-court/articleshow/56288938.cms.

One important appeal of our Supreme Leader 2014-19, at the Lucknow Meeting is:
"... There is this party, which for the last 15 years has been struggling to establish their son as an acceptable leader ..."

"...In the past few weeks, we have seen bitter foes and arch rivals like the SP and BSP come together to seek my removal. When they are all clamouring to remove Modi, I am saying remove corruption and black money..."

"...There is another, which is busy trying to settle its ill-gotten money in various banks and escape scrutiny. "

"Then there is this third party which is busy trying to save their family from breaking up."

"... People of the state have already seen politics of caste and family... For once rise above caste and vote only for development in the elections and see whether UP changes or not, ..."

yb-a-donkey's personal views, not intended to be imposed on others

Mr. Narendra Modi has carefully avoided asking people directly or indirectly TO VOTE / NOT VOTE, on the basis of religion. He did not promise things like Rama Janma Bhoomi (promise to build Ram's Temple at Ayodhya) or to enact Uniform Civil Code. The very basis of the philosophy of RSS (Rashtriya Svayam Sevak Sangh) the parent organ of BJP, and the BJP itself is HIndutva, appealing to Hindu Religion. While BJP has its guaranteed Hindu Vote Bank, Congress and many Regional parties bank on minority vote bank. Another probable reason for Mr. Modi's avoiding to appeal to the religion sentiments of the people may be: UP has a sizable Minority vote bank which is at present attached to Smajavadi, and BSP.

Why didn't Mr. Modi say: For once rise above caste & religion and vote only for development in the elections

Probable answer: Had Mr. Modi asked people to raise above religion, it might have angered RSS.

Bourgeoisie politicians want to eat the cake, and have it too, at the same time. Now, the above sentence in the speech of Mr. Modi, does not violate Supreme Court's advice.
In 2014 Lok Sabha elections, and in Bihar Assembly elections, Mr. Modi tried to use his Lower caste status, as a tool to evoke sympathy from lower caste voters, while using an occasion to reply to a comment of Ms. Priyanka Vadhra-Gandhi. While the idea seems to have succeeded in Lok Sabha elections, the same method seems to have failed in Bihar.

FOR THE BENEFIT OF THOSE READERS WHO DO NOT KNOW ABOUT THE CASTE COMPLEXITIES OF INDIA

The orthodox branch of Hindu society which sometimes takes pride in calling itself as sanAtana dharma , seems to have adopted (or tried to adopt) a four caste system consisting of:

Brahmins (Priests, White Aryan migrants + their permitted hybrids)
Kshatriyas - (Warriors and soldiers white Aryan migrants + their permitted hybrids)
Vysyas - (Merchants, and in early era Farmers. White migrants.) + their permitted hybrids)
SUdras - (Servants, in the later era farmers - surrendered natives of India who were later admitted to Aryan Society as menials).
panchamas - (Outcastes from the above, defeated rebellious Indian natives).

Note: The Aryan white migrants into India, started accumulating melanin in body color, against their wishes. For example, Arjuna of our Bhagavad Gita, First Chapter, 'Arjuna vishAda yOga' (The depressions and worries of Arjuna) was mainly concerned about varNa sankara (pollution of color-castes). Arjuna himself was white. The meaning of the word 'Arjuna' = white. His apprehension was after war, all the white Kshatriyas (warriors) would perish. White widows might get attracted to black natives, and produce polluted persons i.e. varNa sankara. But, this varNa sankara did not probably take place due to Mahabharata war. The hybridisation was a natural consequence of mixing up over a number of centuries. It was also a biological and physical, procreational need.

Ques: TODAY, ARE THE WHITE RACES IN EUROPE, CANADA, ANZ, AFRAID OF VARNA SANKARAM? (color pollution, caste pollution)

In some countries like France, Germany, UK, in some States of U.S.A., Australia, these apprehensions are clearly visible. Some whites of these countries, seem to suffer from this insecurity complex of varNa sankara (color pollusion). Such fears, may also be one of the reasons for the catapult of Mr. Donald Trump to the President-ship of the United States and the White House.

HYBRIDIZATIONS AND CHANGE OF CASTE MIXES, MELANIN MIXES IN INDIA

Owing to continuous invasions from outside, particularly from West and North-West,--- population-mixes, and caste-mixs in India underwent sweeping changes. Hundreds of new castes and sub-castes arose. Number of persons in some castes went to down, owing to numerous reasons. Power-and-Prosperity equations changed. The three key elements of supremacy i.e. ownership of land, ownership of businesses, and ownership+skills of using horses and weapons started defining 'powers' of persons. In 2016, it is not possible to adopt the four/five caste system of yore, and probably except in temple preachings, we do not find the above hierarchial levels.

Ability to control the four key elements i.e. land, big-businesses, arms-brutal forces, and powerful-occupations, like in the mythological, ancient , medieval, British-rule histories of India, decide the respectability of a caste even now. Possessing these four things raise or lower the social respectability of a person. But innocent poor Indians seem to think otherwise. They still seem to believe that their castes are more important, that their castes will give them respectability (or deprive respectability). Hence, caste-based vote-banks come to fore.

Now, we can't have a hierarchy of the above 4/5 caste system. Nor, can we create hierarchies of hundreds of castes. That table will become unwieldy. However, a broad division can be made only for a limited purpose of understanding the current Indian societies in different States of India:
Super-rich (Modern Monarchs and Royals) Celebrities, Industrial Princes and Princesses. Political Princes and Princesses. E.g. Tatas, Ambanis, Adanis. They can buy MPs and MLAs. They can run proxy Governments. 90% of assets should be held abroad. 90% of borrowings should be in India.
Uppers Land owners, Business owners, Powerful occupation owners, Political Power holders-- of various castes. Birth caste is immaterial. Landed Ruling castes such as Yadavs, Jats, Patels, Bhumihars, Kapus, Kammas, Reddys, Lingayats, Nayars, Gounders, Chauhans, Upper-Rajputs etc. fall in this category. These leaders control India today. Simultaneously, they are controlled by Modern Monarchs and Royals above.
Upper Priests and Preachers Beards, Special Head-gears, Special Facial Marks are compulsory. Minimum Qualification: Must be able to occupy Government lands. Must be able to claim monopoly rights on religions.
Lowers Landless, business-less, powerful-occupation-less sections of various castes. By day's hard-work, they may earn thir food, and live in some sort of dwellings. Birth caste immaterial. A jat without land/business/powerful-occupation or a 'kamma' without these possessions come under this.
True dalits Those who live under trees, in cement pipes, huts and shanties, on foot-paths, under fly-overs. Birth caste immaterial.

Mr. Narendra Modi, prima facie belonged to the 'Lowers' in the above table, till a contra-evidence of his owning lands, businesses, etc. comes to public light. Hence, his grievance of his being born in a lower caste, and being ill-treated by Upper Caste leaders of UP and Bihar, such as Priyanka Gandhi-Vadhra becomes very very reasonable. At the same time, his clown-like dressing styles, wearing coats and suits costing lakhs of Rupees, using expensive pens, super rich watches, penchants to shake hands and take selfies with film stars and industrialists, --etc. make him vulnerable to loss of sympathy from persons and voters, who have knowledge of Current Affairs.

GEOGRAPHICAL VARIATIONS

Example: A shepherd in Telangana State, although belonging to 'yAdav' community, may have low social respectability, because he does not own lands, and goes to forests for months together weathering (withering) himself in the heat, rains and cold, whereas a person of Yadav community in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar may get great respectability in the Society because he owns swathes of lands, and businesses, owns guns and revolvers. The Yadavs of UP and Bihar, de facto become Upper Caste, while in Telangana, the shepherd-yadavs may be as deprived as dalits. In vote-bank politics, the likes of Mulayam Singh Yadav, and Lalu Prasad Yadav, may try to forge All India Yadav alliances and parties by inviting the suffering Yadavs of Telangana, Residual Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.

These things require a thousand pages to write about. Hence a comma, for the time being. To continue. सशेष. ఇంకా ఉంది.

855 BJP Lok Sabha Members have a greater duty to the people of this Nation, and the people of their Constituencies, than to BJP Leadership who may be their benefactors

About 75% of BJP Members of Lok Sabha appear to be Crorepatis, who might have spent some millions of Rupees for getting themselves elected to Lok Sabha. It will, therefore, be natural for them, to be afraid of facing a fresh bout of Mid Term Elections to Lok Sabha. Same was the case with the Members of Lok Sabha, of the previous Houses, whether they belong to BJP, Congress, Regional Parties, CPI, and to some extent even CPIM. Not that Mid Term Elections to Lok Sabha are in the offing, around. Such ideas are only hypothetical fantasies and hallucinations of dissatisfied. Yet, this SHYNESS ON THE PART OF MPS OF ANY PARTY, TO FACE MID TERM ELECTIONS, is a relevant question, because because of that shyness, MPs become SHY TO ASK INCONVENIENT QUESTIONS TO THEIR LEADERS, WHOM THEY ELECTED WITH GREAT EXPECTATIONS.

A LITTLE COURAGE, IS BETTER THAN, NO COURAGE

Here is a link to an article by Ms. Anita Katyal, who writes her column at DeccanChronicle.Com: Click to go to: http://www.deccanchronicle.com/opinion/columnists/181216/political-gup-shup-behind-closed-door-meetings.html. This article can also be read in the print Edition of 18.12.2016, Editorial Page, Deccan Chronicle..

Shri Amit Shah is reported to have instructed the aggrieved BJP MPs:

"... This is not a Manmohan Singh government... this is a Narendra Modi government and once he takes a decision, there’s no going back on it. ..."

"... The MPs were instructed that instead of complaining, they should convince their voters about the merits of demonetisation. ..."

It can be observed that BJP Members of Parliament, from Uttar Pradesh State started showing some candidness in airing the grievances of the people who were suffering owing to the cash crisis ignited by BJP. Though 50 days from 8th Dec. 2016, and 31st Dec. 2016 are expected to be the last days for the sufferings of people, solution may not be so easy or so certain, owing to numerous instances of corruption which are taking place in movement and distribution of new currency notes. While people in the long ATM queues and Bank queues are clamoring just for a piece of Rs. 2,000 currency note, dons like Mr. Sekhar Reddy and Gali Janarda Reddy are able to get millions of Rupees through backdoors of Reserve Bank of India, and, Banks.

There is also a news report in Andhrajyothy.com, about Mr. Amit Shah, BJP President, chiding BJP MPs for their feedback about the dissatisfaction of people, with demonetization.

BJP LOK SABHA MPS HAVE TO CONSIDER THAT "IT IS THEY WHO ELECT THEIR LEADERS AND ADVISE THEM WHAT TO DO , AND WHAT NOT TO DO. NOT VICE VERSA.

A tendency can be seen among most of the MPs of all Parties, to which BJP MPs are not exceptions, to regard themselves that they are inferior servants to their Leaders. At the same-time, the same MPs seem to posture themselves as the bosses and overlords of common people of India, who voted them to power. The MPs have their briefs from the people of their Constituencies, and not their Party Leaders.

AUDACITY AND CONDESCENSION

Recently, news reports have come, indicating that BJP Leadership wants to run prasikshaN (प्रषिक्षण कार्यक्रम) training programs for their party MPs. Here, a pertinent question should be, Who should train whom? MPs have to train the leaders, not vice versa. MPs of all parties, not only BJP, have to shed their servitudes to their leaders, and make clear to their leaders, that they were appointed by them i.e. the MPs, at the instance of the People of India. The MPs should make clear, that INSTRUCTIONS SHOULD ORIGINATE AT BOTTOM, AND MOVE UPWARDS TO THE APEX. If leaders fail, in fulfilling the ambitions of MPs, then MPs should not hesitate to replace them with more dynamic leaders, of course, following the traditions of morality, uprightness, values etc. of the Party, and the Parliament.

HIGH TIME WE HAVE A RIGHT OF RECALL OF MPs and MLAs., at least MID TERM AFTER 2 1/2 YEARS

Unfortunately, for Indian voters, there is no provision for RIGHT OF RECALL. Though we cannot expect that everyday, voters of a constituency should think of recalling their representatives (MLAs and MPs), at least after 2 1/2 years, there should be a referendum, and feedback exercise on the performance of MPs, MLAs elected by people.

Alternatively, we can also think of having a FOUR year Elections, like the United States of America.

843 Who is a Fakir? Who is not a Fakir?

After our beloved Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, made his 'fakir speech' dated 3rd Dec. 2016, at Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, where he addressed quasi-innocent people of INdia, of course, on his outings for vote-seeking. I wish that, his quotes are going to ring in our 'ears' for 'years-to-come', at least upto 2019. Here is a link to Jagran.Com, which contains a link to his speech-video, in addition to some quotes from his 'fakir speech'.

"... All those who are Jan Dhan account holders, you should not return the money that others have put in your accounts. If you promise to do so, I am working hard on to devise a formula to send all those who deposited their money illegally into your accounts to jail and to ensure the money goes to the poor households. ..."

"...I am being hounded as if I have committed some crime by waging a battle against graft. But, what can my opponents do to me? I am a fakir (hermit)...jhola ley kar chaley jayenge (I will exit with my little belongings)..."

"...You are my leader...I have no high command ..."

"...These people in white T shirts are helping people understand digital transactions, now your bank is in your mobile: PM Modi in Moradabad pic.twitter.com/Yw9hLtNF7I — ANI UP (@ANINewsUP) December 3, 2016..."

"... Aajkal log poora din 'Modi, Modi, Modi' kar rahein hai, pehle bolte the ‘Money, Money, money': PM Modi pic.twitter.com/i7MVF2x7YJ — ANI UP (@ANINewsUP) December 3, 2016 ..."

"...Shouldn't I fight corruption? Is fighting corruption a crime? Why are some people calling me a wrong doer for fighting corruption..."

"...I had not been able to come to Moradabad in 2014. I did come in 2009. Always felt sad I couldn't come here for so long ..."

His speech took me to my twenties (seventies of the Christian Era). Not only in those days, even now, I continue to be a fan of Late Samuel Longhorn Clemens, popularly known as Mark Twain, in English Literature. While I like all his works, particularly one chapter in his novel "Mysterious Stranger" frequently rings itself into my ears, and also peepingly intrudes into my dreams. I am tempted to reproduce those few pages in their entirety.

"...We were traveling at the time and stopped at a little city in India and looked on while a juggler did his tricks before a group of natives. They were wonderful, but I knew Satan could beat that game, and I begged him to show off a little, and he said he would. He changed himself into a native in turban and breech-cloth, and very considerately conferred on me a temporary knowledge of the language.

The juggler exhibited a seed, covered it with earth in a small flower-pot, then put a rag over the pot; after a minute the rag began to rise; in ten minutes it had risen a foot; then the rag was removed and a little tree was exposed, with leaves upon it and ripe fruit. We ate the fruit, and it was good. But Satan said:

“Why do you cover the pot? Can’t you grow the tree in the sunlight?”

“No,” said the juggler; “no one can do that.”

“You are only an apprentice; you don’t know your trade. Give me the seed. I will show you.” He took the seed and said, “What shall I raise from it?”

“It is a cherry seed; of course you will raise a cherry.”

“Oh no; that is a trifle; any novice can do that. Shall I raise an orange-tree from it?”

“Oh yes!” and the juggler laughed.

“And shall I make it bear other fruits as well as oranges?”

“If God wills!” and they all laughed.

Satan put the seed in the ground, put a handful of dust on it, and said, “Rise!”

A tiny stem shot up and began to grow, and grew so fast that in five minutes it was a great tree, and we were sitting in the shade of it. There was a murmur of wonder, then all looked up and saw a strange and pretty sight, for the branches were heavy with fruits of many kinds and colors—oranges, grapes, bananas, peaches, cherries, apricots, and so on. Baskets were brought, and the unlading of the tree began; and the people crowded around Satan and kissed his hand, and praised him, calling him the prince of jugglers. The news went about the town, and everybody came running to see the wonder—and they remembered to bring baskets, too. But the tree was equal to the occasion; it put out new fruits as fast as any were removed; baskets were filled by the score and by the hundred, but always the supply remained undiminished. At last a foreigner in white linen and sun-helmet arrived, and exclaimed, angrily:

“Away from here! Clear out, you dogs; the tree is on my lands and is my property.”

The natives put down their baskets and made humble obeisance. Satan made humble obeisance, too, with his fingers to his forehead, in the native way, and said:

“Please let them have their pleasure for an hour, sir—only that, and no longer. Afterward you may forbid them; and you will still have more fruit than you and the state together can consume in a year.”

This made the foreigner very angry, and he cried out, “Who are you, you vagabond, to tell your betters what they may do and what they mayn’t!” and he struck Satan with his cane and followed this error with a kick.

The fruits rotted on the branches, and the leaves withered and fell. The foreigner gazed at the bare limbs with the look of one who is surprised, and not gratified. Satan said:

“Take good care of the tree, for its health and yours are bound together. It will never bear again, but if you tend it well it will live long. Water its roots once in each hour every night—and do it yourself; it must not be done by proxy, and to do it in daylight will not answer. If you fail only once in any night, the tree will die, and you likewise. Do not go home to your own country any more—you would not reach there; make no business or pleasure engagements which require you to go outside your gate at night—you cannot afford the risk; do not rent or sell this place—it would be injudicious.”

The foreigner was proud and wouldn’t beg, but I thought he looked as if he would like to. While he stood gazing at Satan we vanished away and landed in Ceylon.

I was sorry for that man; sorry Satan hadn’t been his customary self and killed him or made him a lunatic. It would have been a mercy. Satan overheard the thought, and said:

“I would have done it but for his wife, who has not offended me. She is coming to him presently from their native land, Portugal. She is well, but has not long to live, and has been yearning to see him and persuade him to go back with her next year. She will die without knowing he can’t leave that place.”

“He won’t tell her?”

“He? He will not trust that secret with any one; he will reflect that it could be revealed in sleep, in the hearing of some Portuguese guest’s servant some time or other.”

“Did none of those natives understand what you said to him?”

“None of them understood, but he will always be afraid that some of them did. That fear will be torture to him, for he has been a harsh master to them. In his dreams he will imagine them chopping his tree down. That will make his days uncomfortable—I have already arranged for his nights.”

It grieved me, though not sharply, to see him take such a malicious satisfaction in his plans for this foreigner.

“Does he believe what you told him, Satan?”

“He thought he didn’t, but our vanishing helped. The tree, where there had been no tree before—that helped. The insane and uncanny variety of fruits—the sudden withering—all these things are helps. Let him think as he may, reason as he may, one thing is certain, he will water the tree. But between this and night he will begin his changed career with a very natural precaution—for him.”

“What is that?”

“He will fetch a priest to cast out the tree’s devil. You are such a humorous race—and don’t suspect it.”

“Will he tell the priest?”

“No. He will say a juggler from Bombay created it, and that he wants the juggler’s devil driven out of it, so that it will thrive and be fruitful again. The priest’s incantations will fail; then the Portuguese will give up that scheme and get his watering-pot ready.”

“But the priest will burn the tree. I know it; he will not allow it to remain.”

“Yes, and anywhere in Europe he would burn the man, too. But in India the people are civilized, and these things will not happen. The man will drive the priest away and take care of the tree.”

I reflected a little, then said, “Satan, you have given him a hard life, I think.”

“Comparatively. It must not be mistaken for a holiday.”

We flitted from place to place around the world as we had done before, Satan showing me a hundred wonders, most of them reflecting in some way the weakness and triviality of our race. He did this now every few days—not out of malice—I am sure of that—it only seemed to amuse and interest him, just as a naturalist might be amused and interested by a collection of ants..."

yb-a-donkey's humble views, which are not intended to be imposed on others:

Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, AAP Leader and the Delhi Chief Minister, commented immediately, responding to the stimulus made by Mr. Modi's Fakir's Speech.

"...PM calls himself a hermit, but wears a suit worth Rs 10 lakh and tours the world ..."

Modi ji you (call yourself) a fakir? Everyday, you wear four new pairs of clothes, you wear a Rs 10 lakh suit and tour the world. People have lost trust in your words

Though what Mr. Kejriwal said about Mr. Modi's changing five new dresses every day, and wearing a suit costing Rs. 1 million is apparently factually true, it is too early for Mr. Kejriwal to say that Mr. Modi lost the trust of the people. Even educated people seem to trust him sincerely, continue to trust him, without any strong logical reasons.

Mr. Narendra Modi uses expensive pens: MontBlanc. His watch is Movado. His spectacles are Bylgari. His suits and kurtas are designed and stitched by Jade Blue, of Ahmedabad.

According to the Dec. 3, 2016, Moradabad Speech of Mr. Narendra Modi, even beggars in India, use POS machines.

427 At last, at least there is one matter of pride for us, NOT FROM CRICKET

Here is a link to the trigger for this blog post.
It is a Press Release by Ministry of Defence, GOI.

http://pib.nic.in/newsite/PrintRelease.aspx?relid=115199

According to the Press Release:

HAL Bags Rs. 1090 Crore Contract for Supplying 14 Do-228 Aircraft to IAF
HAL has bagged a major Defence contract for supplying 14 Do-228 aircraft produced by HAL to the Indian Air Force. “Apart from these aircraft, the contract valued at around Rs. 1090 crores includes six reserve engines, one flight simulator and associated equipment”, says Mr. T. Suvarna Raju, Chairman, HAL. “This also reflects the trust of the Defence customers on HAL and we remain committed to supporting Indian Defence Services for all their needs”, he adds.

The versatility of HAL-DO-228s are due to several in-built features such as highest fuel carrying capacity in its class (2850 litres) due to integral fuel tanks in wings, low structural weight ensured through use of advanced composite materials, high wing design for unobstructed view and radar coverage, wide wheel base for better stability, short take-off and landing capability- the aircraft can take off from around 700 m and land within 575 m- essentially required for operations from short and semi-prepared airfields, sturdy landing gears, rectangular cabin offering more head space for passengers and mounting space for equipment in case of special mission configuration as opposed to circular cabin, low floor level and wide door for easy loading/unloading of cargo, flight openable roller door, four wing hard points for mounting of external loads up to 1030 kg, optimum performance at normal cruising altitude for short haul applications enabled by the revolutionary design of wing aerofoil.

ybrao a donkey's observations

Had we been in Congress rule, probably this order would have gone to some foreign supplier from Europe or U.S.A., with unknown kickbacks changing hands.  Even that kickback secret would have had to be leaked out by foreign agency with leakages among competitors.

For giving this big Rs. 2,290 crore order to an Indian manufacturer, prima facie, we should give credit to our BJP Government at Center.

However, there is a minor hitch.  The Press release is silent about whether there is any foreign supplier pushing the deal from behind HAL.

The dornier aircraft originally had German technology.  With their technoogical assistance, HAL has been manufacturing them since some years.  HAL has even world distribution rights.

THIS donkey has a hunch feeling that a Swiss-German Aviation Company named RUAG might have done some market promotion work for India's HAL, during Davos, WEO Sessions.   But anyway this Rs.1090 crore is a very very small order, when compared to the orders placed by  UPA/Congress Governments of past notoriety.

Let us hope that everything will forge ahead SCAMLESSLY.
