A New Year is like bucket, or a measuring glass with which we can measure volumes. Just as it is difficult to measure how many buckets of water, an Ocean may contain, it is not possible to measure how many years of Time this Universe/Cosmos is passing through. The Concept of measuring Years is based on the Time taken by Earth for completing one Revolution around the Sun. The Time taken by Earth to circumabulate Sun is about 365.xx days. The First day can start at any point on the Earth's Orbit. Different Countries, Cultures, Religions, have chosen different points as their 'Starting Line'. And this constitutes the"New Year Day", for celebrations. Because West Europe, North America, and ANZ have, because of their Colonial Past, had-have-likely to have a Control on the way the World conducts its operations, their New Year Day, has become more popular when compared to other New Year Days. There is no compulsion for anybody to use January 1 as the New Year Day. But, those who wish to benefit from the Modern Technology, Modern Innovations, gadgets such as Computers, Mobiles etc. may have to depend to some extent on the Christian Era New Year, and its New Year Day Jan. 1. By and large, almost the entire world understood this Reality. Hence, Celebration of Jan. 1 as New Year Day, and the Christian Era for Year Number, is flourishing. In alignment with the World, the People of Residual Andhra Pradesh have also acclimatized themselves to the Global Practices, and are celebrating the Jan. 1, as a New Year Day. But, the Endowments Department of Government of Residual Andhra Pradesh seems to have forgotten this fact, and issued a Circular to Temples under their Control, instructing them not to Illuminate Temples, or perform any Special Celebrations on January 1, because Jan. 1 is not Telugu New Year Day. (Telugu New Year day is celebrated as per Lunar Calendar, and it falls on the 1st Lunar Day of Chaitra month [Month on the Full Moon Day of which Moon appears nearer to the Star Chitta (Spica).]. Hitherto the practice, is People of Andhra Pradesh celebrate both the New Year Days.

Ostensible Reason for Instructing Temples in A.P., not to illuminate or hold Special Functions

Ans: To save costs. To minimise wasteful expenditure. While the Government Officials manning Temples might have complied with Government's Instructions, people being slaves of their habits, as usual thronged into the Temples, forming serpantine queues, to submit their requests to Gods and Goddesses for favors and protection from Evils. Somebody has gone to State's High Court, but they could not obtain any Court Injunction against the Govt's Order. The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, as usual, made some inquiries with the Govt. Officials about the din, but it is too late. It is just like, Dhritarashtra's making inquiries from the Courtiers, whenever a din is created by his 100 sons--i.e. Duryodhana & Bros, + Sakuni, + Karna.

People of Other States should also benefit from the Advice(s) of Shri Venkaiah Naidu, Hon. Vice President of India

Shri Venkaiah Naidu is the Vice President of India. He is not Vice President of Residual Andhra Pradesh. As a Former All India President of BJP, he is well-known all over the country, and not just the Telugu States. People of Andhra Pradesh are flooded with advices from him, in his well-meaning lectures and speeches addressed to Telugus, made in Telugu Towns and Cities . But people of Other States also should benefit from the Wise Advices of Shri Venkaiah Naidu. Are People and Conference-Organising Leaders, not aware about the Sage-like advices of our Vice President? They ought to invite him to their States and benefit from his Advices. In English Language, there is a proverb: "Familiarity breeds Contempt". If People of Andhra Pradesh get a reduced familiarity, they will start loving our Hon. Vice President more and more.

Different Professional Ethics for Higher Court Lawyers and Lower Court Lawyers?

I greatly appreciate the work of Shri Ajay Thakur. But at the same time, it may be pertinent to point out that the concept of 'top 10 in something' can be a subjective perspective, varying from individual to individual. Two particular quotes from this Article are worth reading:

First Quote:-- "...Bar Council of India Rules says that “an advocate shall defend a person accused of a crime regardless of his personal opinion as to the guilt of the accused, bearing in mind that his loyalty is to the law which requires that no man should be convicted without adequate evidence”. Hence, it is a professional/ethical duty of the lawyer to take up the case of a client based on his consciences and try to defend him. ..."

Second Quote:-- "..To be an effective criminal defense counsel, an attorney must be prepared to be demanding, outrageous, irreverent, blasphemous, a rogue, a renegade, and a hated, isolated, and lonely person – few love a spokesman for the despised and the damned. ..."

The Top NO. 1 Lawyer, in the above list of Shri Ajay Thakur, i.e. Shri Ram Jeth Malani, used to quote some principle which is similar the NO. 1 Bar Council Prescription quoted in the box above, whenever he was asked about the Ethics in defending Terrorists or Hardcore Criminals (against whom solid direct evidence is available which amply demonstrates their guilt, nearly 100%). I once read an Article in Indian Express, some years back, where Shri Ram Jeth Malani has quoted a similar Principle of (British?) Jurisprudence, when he was asked about the Ethics in defending Terrorists who attacked India's Parliament Building. Right now, I am unable to give its link. My readers can provide if they have.

I feel, of course I may be incorrect, that the Centuries Old British Jurisprudence Principle which is quoted, -- is only a sort of lame excuse for both Indian and Global Advocates taking up cases of "Proven Terrorists and Proven Terrorism", cases of "Very Serious Financial Criminals" in spite of the availability of clear-cut evidence, and not just baseless accusations and allegations, minor aberrations, born from "hearsay or suspicion or rumours" . Real reason for our Revered Advocates for their eagerness to accept such cases, may be the Lure of Lucre.

In similar situations, where for example 'a murder has taken place in broad day light in a public place', sometimes under media glare, and in the presence of numerous eye witnesses, at mofussil or smaller Centres in India, there are instances, where lawyers have not come forward to defend the accused. Of course, here a question may arise: Whether the Accused is a very poor person, not having the support of anybody, caste or religion. Whether the Accused is a Film Star or some Rich Person who can pay plump fees to Greedy Lawyers. Lawyers Ethics may depend upon the Paying Capacity and "Status" of the Accused.

One possible Reason, inter alia other equally valid Reasons, for Accumulation of Pending Cases for Decades in Indian Courts

Once "Prospects of Making Money" get manifest, Lawyers may throng to take up such Moolah-making cases from Influential-Rich Persons, ignoring clearly known facts of their guilt. In case of Civil Cases also, some Lawyers seem to be too eager to accept unjust cases, in spite of knowing what their Client is asking is unreasonable. And this haste and hurry seems to be one reason for piling up of unresolved cases in Courts, because a Lawyer who accepts an Unjust-Unreasonable Case will try to get the announcement of unpleasant result postponed, by asking for frequent adjournments.

1969 Telugu Film Manushulu mArAli (English: Humans should change) amply depicts the Ways of our Lawyers

This Telugu film is a remake of Malayalam film 'tulAbhAram'. A Gemini Film Presentation, directed by V. Madhusudana Rao. In Hindi, it was made as 'samAj ko badal dAlo', in color. But it does not appear to be as impressive as the Telugu Version. Shri Gollapudi Maruthi Rao wrote powerful-sharp dialogues. Protagonist Sharada lived in her role, of a well-to-do Girl marrying a poor worker and Trade Union Leader. It is a different thing that she entered politics later, became an MP, but failed to deliver anything noteworthy. In this film, as far as I can recollect, Late Actor of Rakta Kanneru fame Nagabhushanam fame was the Villain, who also happened to be an Advocate.

1973 Telugu Film 'DhanamA daivamA' (English: Money? or God?)

In this Film, NTR is the protagonist, and Jamuna is his supporting wife, which may not happen in real life. NTR is an advocate. He remains poor as long as he was honest, and once he changes his ways, he makes his riches, he loses his focus and direction. Of course, after some catharsis he regains his sanity, and there will be a Happy End. But, NTR's dilemma presented as a Lawyers' Dilemma, definitely provokes thoughts, though events in the film may be unrealistic. Viewed from a scientific point of view, this Film's Title may be interepreted as "Money? or Honesty/Duty?".

In trying to save their Clients, sometimes, Lawyers take irrelevant Defences, and yet succeed.

Suppose, there is a Politician who is facing a trial in a "Disproportionate Assets" Case. The Facts of the Case also show a glaring gap between "Known Sources of Income" and "the Accumulated Assets", which provides a self-explicit proof for the Corruption. After studying thousands of pages of documents, hearing several months of arguments, the Trial Court convicts the Politician. The Politician goes in Appeal to a Higher Court.

Now, our Learned Defence Lawyers may argue in Courts:

"Appellants are paying their taxes promptly, correctly. Evidence to that effect has been submitted to the Trial Court. But the Trial Court has ignored it."

"Paying taxes correctly" and "Earning Income and, gathering Properties" both are two different propositions, sometimes mutually exclusive, sometimes mutually inclusive, and sometimes irrelevant and with no relationship to one another. We can get more than six situations:

1. A person may earn income and wealth honestly, and pay taxes honestly.
2. A person may earn his income-wealth honestly, but may legally avoid/or illegally evade taxes.
3. A person may be corrupt, totally dishonest in earning his income-wealth, but may pay his taxes honestly.
4. A person may be corrupt, totally dishonest in earning his income-wealth, and also be equally corrupt in paying taxes.
5. A person may be corrupt sometimes, and honest at some other times.
6. A person may be corrupt at some places, and honest at some other places.

UNWILLINGNESS TO SACRIFICE vs. DELIBERATE IMMORAL METHODS TO ROB SOCIETY/GOVERNMENT/PUBLIC

Not paying taxes, is only an indication of 'Unwillingness to sacrifice, and Reluctance to part with one's own money, when tax is imposed by Corrupt Governments", and paying Taxes is NOT NECESSARILY a Proof of Honest Earning. I read somewhere that Messrs. Harshad Mehta, Ketan Parekh, Satyam Rama Linga Raju, Ms. Jayalalitaa, Shri Telgi of Fake Stamps Fame, were all Great Tax Payers.

On the other hand, "Using corrupt/immoral methods to accumulate Income and Wealth", is a sort of a 'polished-refined-subtle-uncanny robbery' which will be worse than direct robberies undertaken by our lungi-clad, knife-wielding Open Thieves to eke out their livelihood, when they are caught up in a vortex of 'being branded as thieves by law', which makes them 'unemployable', because nobody employs a convicted small-time thief.

Hence paying taxes correctly, submitting tax returns promptly, cannot be given as a valid scaffolding for uplifting accused persons-institutions from their abysses of moral degeneration and lifting their collapsed moral turpitude.

Need for two separate Central Government Departments, to deal with "Tax Evasion" and "Dishonest Earnings of Income/Accumulation of Assets" SEPARATELY

Tax Evasion on "Honest HardWork" Earned income should be a less serious Crime, when compared to "Income-Wealth accumulated through Moral Degeneration". Our Hon. Prime Minister may not be able to appreciate this subtle Distinction between the two because, during his youth, before becoming Gujarat CM, he might not have pursued any Occupation/Business which might have made him an Income Tax Assessee. But our Hon. Finance Minister can examine this idea in depth, because he was a Highly Successful Lawyer, with some Taxable Income. Our Software Engineers from IT Industry, Middle Level Managers in Corporate Sector, who face TDS, and some of our Small/Medium Business Enterpreneurs who have just started earning Taxable Incomes/Wealth can easily empathize and delineate this distinction.

Persons who have spent all their childhood and youth in poverty, and who have just started "seeing some good money in their life for the first time" may feel the pinch when they are assessed for the first time. The conscience will start questioning:

"This is the first time I am making some money. There is no guarantee that I shall make similar money next year. Then, why I should I sacrifice my hard-earned money?", thus an honest-hardworker may start thinking.

LAW of DIMINISHING Marginal Utility vs. Law of Increasing Marginal Utility

The "Law of Diminishing Marginal Utility for Money" will not start applying to him-her because, he has not yet started getting satiated with the satisfaction from earning some money for the first or second time or third time in life. This "Reduced Marginal Utility" will come after some years, for ordinary persons. Like the 'first-time-delivery-pain' of a prospective-mother, this 'first-time-(or first few times)-assessee pain is to be experienced, to understand its intensity.

But for Politicians, Business Tycoons, Professional Emperors, Film Stars, Cricketers, it will never come. For them, there is a different Law: "Law of Increasing Marginal Utility". In "Increasing Marginal Utility", if a Chief Minister has made Rs. 500 billion now, he will like another Deceased Chief Minister may want to make Rs. 1 trillion. There are no Exemptions to this bourgeoisie Economics Law . Even Film Stars who sport white beards and black hair, and preach Spiritual Politics cannot escape from this. Only complete-Total-Pure Marxism/Socialism/Communism can cure this disease. Not the Bourgeoisie Communist Parties variety or the Maoist variety.

Strangely , sometimes High Courts appear to be accepting the type of inappropriate arguments presented, and without going through the thousands of pages gone through by the Trial Court, may acquit Influential / Political Accused, in which case burdens of Supreme Court may go up. And then, Supreme Court may have to spend some months/ years of their valuable time to write some hundreds of pages of another Judgment, to strike a balance between the Trial and Appeal Courts. In the meantime, Accused Persons may pass away with no guarantee of Trial in Heaven-Hell, or they may become so decrepit-ly only old, that keeping them in Jails for Correction will become cruel or create problems for the Jailers.

LAST but not the LEAST

My understanding is, that normally, money making Lawyers will not come forward to work as Judges. Assuming that somebody comes forward, what will be his-her approach as a Judge? Will he preach something different from what he-she practised? This is a question which our readers are to ponder over.

1022: 50 BJP/NDA MPs may not rebel against BJP/NDA Top Leadership- Discussion

Triggers to me, for my this blog post, are: 1) Discussion in Telugu News Channel TV9, on 3rd Oct. 2017, 8.30 p.m., about the developments in BJP, and the Economic Development Arena of this country. Link to see this TV9 discussion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCH_zZN205Y. 2) Full page advertisement released by Govt. of India, and the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, in the DeccanChronicle.Com, print Edition dated 3rd Oct. 2017, Page7, on the occasion of laying of Foundation Stone for 13 NH Projects costing Rs.4153 crore (Rs. 42 billion), at IGM Stadium, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. The aforesaid TV9 discussion has also a marquee line saying 'laka laka laka' (Telugu language). One of the participants expressed a view that if the top BJP Leadership does not initiate corrective measures, there is a possibility of about 50 Ruling Party Members moving away from BJP, in case BJP fails to win Gujarat Elections, and that 50 Senior Members are waiting for a Right timing. The Participant praised the performance of the Govt. of Shri Modi, upto the point of Demonetization.

I am not a supporter or hater of Shri Narendra Modi, our Hon. Prime Minister. I am too small a fry to do that. But the TV9 Discussion linked above was very lively, and they have expressed some very valid points. The Representative of the BJP Party, who participated in the discussion, faced a tough situation amidst the criticism by the other two participants, and the penetrating questions by the anchor, who has made tremendous fair and frank effort to elicit replies from the BJP Representative.

Is it really likely that 50 Members will raise against BJP Top Leadership?

Ans: This may not happen for the following reasons:--
1) MPs of all Parties have spent millions of Rupees, to get elected to the Parliament. Revolts by Lok Sabha Members can lead to Mid Term Elections. Fresh Elections means, fresh burden of expenditure. They have to recover their 2014 Election Expenses, and add more bucks for the 2019 Normal Elections. The Prime Minister himself has pledged a slogan, 'na khAtE' or 'na khAnE dEtE'.(English: Shall not EAT, nor will allow others to EAT). Then, how the 2014 MPs are going to recover their expenses? By toppling the existing Leadership, and going for a New Prime Minister who will 'khAtE' and 'khAnE dEtE' (Will Eat, and allow others to Eat), --some MPs may wish for. But, they cannot speak about or canvass for that openly, because that may lead them to face fresh troubles.

2) Like many Indian Voters, Indian MPs also may not shift their loyalties, unless there are some financial motivators. Such financial motivators may run into Crores of Rupees. If at least 100 MPs are to be purchased to change their loyalties, Rs. 1,000 crore (Rs. 10 billion) may be needed. Such billions, only Industrialists and Business Tycoons can pay. As on date, Industrialists and Business Tycoons seem to be fully happy with the present BJP Leadership Dispensations. Even if some dissatisfaction exists among some Industrialists and Business Tycoons, still they have not lost hope that the unhappy features in Govt. Policies can be corrected and retuned to meet their needs.

3) If sufficient number of MPs do not jump over the fence, there is a danger of Defecting/ Rebel MPs facing Disqualification.

Today's politicians are very much practical politicians. They know very clearly on which side, their bread is buttered.

It is strange that the above Advertisement contains the photographs of Shri Venkaiah Naidu, Vice President of India, Shri Nithin Gadkari, Union Minister of our Road and Water Ways, and Shri Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Conspicuously absent is the photo of the Hon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whose photo we see ubiquitously (omnipresent) everywhere, nowadays.

Is this omission to add PM's photo, deliberate or accidental (inadvertant)? Has Mr. Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, lost his patience with our Hon. PM? Mr. Naidu is eager for funds from Center. He has Great Plans for Construction of New Capital for Andhra Pradesh, at New Amaravati. Besides, he has revised the Estimates for the Polavaram Project to Rs. 50,000 crore (Rs. 500 billion or about $9 billion). He does not leave any occasion, in Meetings to ask the Central Ministers for funds. These repeated entreaties by Mr. Naidu for Central Funds, might have irked the Central Leaders, because their antennae are focused towards Gujarat and Karnataka, in particular, and the BJP Ruled States in General.

There is also the debt burden which the Residual Andhra Pradesh inherited, after forced bifurcation of the United Andhra Pradesh in 2014, both by Congress and BJP at Centre, against the wishes of the People of the Residual Andhra Pradesh, while outstanding debts have been divided in the Ratio of Populations of the Two New States, income-yielding assets, Income Sources, Central Institutions have gone to the Telangana State, along with the Hyderabad City which was developed with combined funds of both the States. Though both the BJP and Congress promised to compensate Residual Andhra Pradesh for their deprivation and destitution, nothing solid was done by the Centre.

Why Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu is not getting appointment for Interview with the PM?

Of course, to reply to this question, Hon. Prime Minister may not have time or energies. Mr. Naidu can answer. Let us hope that he will answer.

There are News Reports which indicate that Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu is not able to get an appointment with the PM for the last one year. In the above TV9 discussion, there is also a mention that Central Govt. Officials are asking from the CM of AP, for 'Agenda' for the Meeting, to examine the scope for fixing an appointment with PM!

Residual Andhra Pradesh, after its bifurcation from Telangana, has lost its strength of MPs. The number of AP MPs has got nearly halved. Now, Residual A.P. is only a small State, among 28 other such Entities. Central Leaders are too busy elsewhere.

1006 Shri Venkaiah Naidu, Shri Arun Jaitley, Swami Vivekananda, Great People seem to think alike!

Great People seem to think alike!!! Shri Venkaiah Naidu, India's Information & Broadcasting Minister, Urban Development Minister, Shri Arun Jaitley, India's Finance Minister, and Swami Vivekananda, the Idol of our BJP leaders, all Great Persons, seem to think alike. Context: 1) Ceaseless suicides of Farmers, drowned in indebtedness, harassed by private money lenders. 2) Electoral compulsions of Political Parties in various States of India, to offer Bank Agricultural Loan Waivers, in spite of their own lack of sincerity, and several other hurdles. Farmer suicides are not new in India. They were there since the ancient times. Example: In the 15th Century Medieval India, Telugu States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the Great Telugu Poet Srinatha though exactly did not commit suicide, passed away only because of his inability to endure the tortures indicted by the then Gajapati Rulers in an attempt to extract State Taxes from him, which he could not repay as his crops at Boddupalli Village on the banks of Krishna River were lost owing to funds. Believed to be the Greatest of the Trio (Vivekananda, Jaitley, and Venkaiah Naidu), we shall start with Swami Vivekananda, towards the problems of peasants:--

The following paragraph of his letter dated Feb. 21, 1900 to Swami Akhandananda, his brother-disciple, from California, USA gives an indication about his approach to problems of the peasants and workers.

yb-a-donkey:Fashion or not, something is better than nothing. At least some needy farmers, though every beneficiary may not be a deserving farmer, will get some amelioration from loan waivers. Loan Waivers are like balm/salve/ointments, where kAya kalpa cikitsa i.e. a deep-rooted surgical-procedure is needed. True, loan waivers are not final solutions. But, our Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi himself, during the 2017 season, initiated these waivers, to win the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections 2017. Loan Waivers take care of only "Institutional Borrowings" of farmers. But bulk of the borrowings by farmers are from Private Money Lenders who abuse the farmers and abet/instigate them to commit suicides. Besides, bulk of Indian farmers are 'oral tenants' i.e. they do not own lands in their own name, nor do they have written Lease Agreements. Hence, they do not get Institutional Loans for which Waivers are made. Absentee Landlords who lease out their lands to 'oral tenants' hold the Loan Pass Books, Title Deeds, etc.,and they draw the Institutional Loans. They benefit from Farm Loan Waivers. They re-lend the institutional loans they get, to oral tenant farmers at commercial and usurious rates of interest. Some of these Private Money Lendors happen to be Village serpanches, Legislators, M.Ps. and Big Business Persons, though they may not be as rich as Ambanis and Adanis. The Private Money Lenders may sometimes incite and exacerbate the farmers' demands for loan waivers. This is because, while the oral tenant farmers receive the baton-blows and police bullets, the Money Lenders get Institutional Loan Waivers.

BETTER TO honestly APOLOGISE TO THE SUFFERERS, THAN TO MAKE DECEPTIVE OFFERS

Context: People of India, and the people of Residual Andhra Pradesh, know very well that BJP Party prodded the Congress to hastily, coercively, unjustly bifurcate Andhra Pradesh, causing financial hurt, physical inconvenience, and mental agony to the people of the Residual Andhra Pradesh. In 2014, if BJP was seriously and truly interested in doing 'justice' to the people of Residual Andhra Pradesh, it should have opposed the Bifurcation Bill, and tried to work out settlement between the People residing in Telangana, and People residing in Residual Andhra Pradesh. Instead, BJP preferred to pierce Congress till it divided United A.P.

Both BJP and Congress wanted to take political advantage, by the undue benefit they were giving to Telangana. Mr. Arun Jaitley, Mr. Venkaiah Naidu, Ms. Sushma Swaraj (all of them may be, probably acting with the silent consent of Mr. Narendra Modi who was not a member of either Lok Sabha, or Rajya Sabha at that time) played a key role in the forced bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, by making Manmohan Singh the-then Prime Minister to make a promise of Special Status to Andhra Pradesh. As if that was not sufficient, Mr. Venkaiah Naidu asked for 10 years of Special Status to Andhra Pradesh.



The principal beneficiaries from all this messwork done by BJP, in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, were K. Chandrasekhara Rao & Family in Telangana, and Nara Chandra Babu Naidu Family in Andhra Pradesh.



The nearly corruption-tainted, facing-prosecution, Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy too benefited from the hurt-sentiment of the people of Residual Andhra Pradesh, by becoming the Principal Opposition Party in Residual Andhra Pradesh [His YSRC got just 500,000 votes less than Mr. Naidu's Party TDP]. While Congress was wiped out in Residual Andhra Pradesh (only 2 Congress Candidates could get back their Election Deposits), BJP made a few seats sitting on the piggyback of TDP.



The numerous hardships and troubles created by K. Chandrasekhara Rao & Co. in Telangana, to the people of Residual Andhra Pradesh, from vantageous position of sitting in the City of Hyderabad with the composite funds of Govt. of India + funds of Telangana Rural Districts + Residual Andhra Pradesh Districts, have injured the people of Residual of Andhra Pradesh, enormously. In Telugu language, there is a proverb, "moguDu koTTADani kAdu, tODi kODalu navvindani". Approx. English: It is not that husband bet, but because the sister (wife of husband's brother) laughed. In India, traditionaly, wives bore when husbands bet them (the situation is changing now), but they felt more hurt and aggrieved when the tODi kODalu laughted. Here, the husband is the Central Government. Wife is the Residual Andhra Pradesh. Laughing Sister is KCR & Co. Before bifurcation, the Telangana Congress leaders, the Telangana BJP leaders were very supportive of Mr. KCR, in the name of Regional Unity. When KCR & Co. abused the people of Residual Andhra Pradesh, the Telangana Congress and Telangana BJP Leaders danced with joy. Now, they themselves are tasting the KCR's 'vAtalu' (branding with hot iron).

In Tirupati meeting, on the eve of 2014 General Elections, Mr. Narendra Modi has nearly promised to make Andhra Pradesh, a virtual Heaven.

After coming to power at Centre, with a clear majority, suddenly Mr. Narendra Modi found that he no longer needed the support of either the Telangana MPs or the Residual Andhra Pradesh MPs. It is just like a married man losing interest in his wife, after completion of all the rituals, and formalities of a valid marriage. Since then, the travails of the People of Residual Andhra Pradesh started.

One gets an impression that BJP top leadership wanted to shower all the benefits on States which were/are likely to face elections since 2014. Mr. Modi promised nearly 1,75,000 crore special package to Bihar, before elections in Bihar. True, Bihar is a backward State, and it deserves support. But, why then packages should be declared just before elections, and dumped after the Elections? Doesn't the recommendations of the Finance Commissions and Niti Aayog come into picture, when Special Package was announced for Bihar?

The so-called Special Package announced by the Centre for Residual Andhra Pradesh, a few days back, is not a package at all. They have listed out the schemes which would have routinely been allocated as a part of All India Development Programmes. Space at this blog post will not be sufficient to discuss everything. Some other time.

The quality of "Honesty and Sincerity" can soothe people who are being subjected to injustice. It will be in the fitness of things, if the Trinity (Mr. Modi, Mr. Jaitley, and Mr. Venkaiah Naidu) apologise to the people of Residual Andhra Pradesh, for whatever promises they have made and broke, and request them to 'forgive'.



Mr. Venkaiah Naidu may be eyeing the post of 'Rashtrapati' (President of India), the elections for which are to take place shortly. By doing that, he will be obstructing the path of aspirants like Mr. L.K. Advani, Mr. Murli Manohar Joshi, Ms. Sumitra Mahajan. For whatever he has done, Mr. Venkaiah Naidu should express his remorse, resign to the post of the Cabinet Minister at Centre, and retire from active politics, particularly the politics of Residual Andhra Pradesh. He can shift his residence to Jaipur-Rajasthan, which sent him to Rajya Sabha.



Ms. D. Purandeswari, former Union Minister of State, another Congress Leader, who migrated to BJP with great hopes, seem to be dreaming at least of a Governorship or a Lieutenant Governorship. It may not materialise, considering the competition involved from the Senior Members of BJP, in other States.



It will be better if all the MLAs and MPs of all parties, of Residual Andhra Pradesh, resign en-masse, including the YSRCP MLAs and MPs. Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu and his Cabinet, should also resign. Nobody should come forward to form a new Government. Nobody should contest Mid Term Elections. This is one way of expressing true resentment in a non-violent manner. If the Central Government imposes a Presidential (Governor's) Rule, people of RAP are not going to be worse off, than what they are today in Sept. 2016.



IT is hightime, people of Residual Andhra Pradesh search for new leaders, and new parties.


Mr. Pavan Kalyan or Mr. Lokesh is not a solution. We cannot, any longer, have TDP, YSRCP, Congress, and BJP. Unfortunately the Left Parties are not ready.


If Andhra Pradesh comes under Presidential Rule, the Land Speculation which is going on in the Capital Region of Amaravati, can be controlled.



Central Rule will also help, ordering of a CBI Investigation into the Tuni Ratnachal Train Burning Incident, and punish the really guilty, to whichever party or caste, they may belong to.

To undergo emotions, enthusiasm, getting impressed by festivals, is of course a matter of personal choice. Hence we shall not touch it.

Personally, I view the World Cultural Festival organised by the Art of Living Foundation (AOLF) on Yamuna River, as just a bourgeoisie extravaganza. What is so much great in mopping up funds world-wide making rhetorical speeches and presentations to persons who do not apply their minds, and throw away the funds on Colorful Lights, Laser shows, dresses and group dances. It only serves as a Deviator to divert the attention of Poor Indians who eke out a life of precarious existence in their effort to get two square meals. It is also worth noting at this juncture, that Central Government seems to have released a grant of Rs. 25 million for this extravaganza, apart from sending Defence Forces to erect structures on the Yamuna River.

The goal of this Festival appears to be, to boost the personal prestige of ShriShri Ravishankar.

Shri Venkaiah Naidu, does not seem to have studied in depth the Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda. Most of the quotes and Swami Vivekananda are just preachings, intended for others to follow, and NOT FOR HIMSELF. My readers, who wish to study some hard work done by me on Vivekananda's Complete Works , can visit : Click to go to Vivekanandayb.blogspot.com. . I have spent nearly two years studying deeply into the Complete Works. I have had mixed feelings, after writing 278 blog posts, with the help of the Complete Works. I felt that I had wasted my time. I also felt that the study has opened my eyes.



I only wish that Mr. Venkaiah Naidu cares to study the Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda IN DEPTH , whenever he finds time. I do not think he will care to. If somebody tells him about our blog, he can at least check up what has been written by me at my Vivekanandayb.blogspot.com, whether they are correct or not. If I have gone wrong, he can always correct me. I welcome my readers also to correct me, after giving me an opportunity to explain the things.

The Home Ministry is reported to have sent a bill to the Punjab Government, for supporting them with Central Forces, to clear the Terrorists who seized the Pathankot Airforce Station. It is very very very unreasonable. It is the duty of the Central Government to help the States, particularly those States which are situated on our borders, and face frequent Terrorist threats, to provide the Central support FREE OF COST, and IRRESPECTIVE OF WHETHER THEY REQUEST FOR SUCH HELP OR NOT.. Mr. Narendra Modi, when he was Chief Minister of Gujarat, claimed that he could not control 2002 Gujarat Riots and the mass killings, because the Central Government and the neighboring States have not sent him timely support. Now, Mr. Modi should show some empathy and sympathy towards the suffering States, and help them with FREE SUPPORT for the Armed Forces sent. Sending Bills for sending the forces will be a cruel joke ! This type of cruel jokes , Lord Wellesly played in British Era. Now, are we in Britain?

Shall we hope, that Ministry of Defence, will charge the AOL Foundation, for sending the Defence Personnel to build temporary bridges etc. on Yamuna River.

పోనీ వాటిల్లో ఇళ్ళన్నా నిర్మిస్తున్నారా అంటే అదీ లేదు. ఎప్పుడో భారీగా రేట్లు పెరుగుతాయని , ఆ భూములను అలా పెట్టుకు కూర్చున్నారు. వృధ్ధ రాజు దగ్గర ఐదువేల మంది రాణులు తృతీయ ప్రకృతి వారి చేత కాపలా చేయబడుతున్నట్లుగా ఆభూములు దిగజారి పోయాయి. రాజు ఆ 5000 రాణులను ఎలా గైతే అనుభవించలేడో, ఇతరులను అనుభవించనివ్వడో, అలాగే నగరాలనుండి యాభియి కిలోమీటర్ల లోపు ఉండే భూములన్నీ సమాధి రాళ్ళులాగా ప్లాట్ల సరిహద్దు రాళ్ళతో నిండి పోయాయి. ఎవడన్నా పేదవాడు , ఈ నగరాల్లో నివసించే వాడు ఒక వంద గజాలు కొనుక్కుని చిన్న రేకుల షెడ్ వేసుకుందామన్నా జానెడు స్థలం దొరకట్లేదు.

లంచావతారాలు అయిన ప్రభుత్వాధికారులు, రాజకీయ నేతలు బినామీ పేర్లతో కొంటే కొని ఉండవచ్చు. నాకు ఒక మిత్రుడు చెప్పాడు. ఒక ప్రభుత్వాధికారి తన పెళ్ళాం పిల్లల పేర్లతో 70 ప్లాట్లు కొనిపారేసాడు. పోతూపోతూ, వాటిని స్వర్గానికి తీసుకెళ్ళలేడు కాబట్టి, మన రాజశేఖర్ రెడ్డిగారి లాగానే అన్ని ఈ భూమి పైనే వదిలేసి అమరుడయ్యాడు. అయితే మన స్వర్గస్థ స్మార్ట్ అధికారి గారి పుత్రుడు స్మార్ట్ సాఫ్టువేర్ ఇంజనీరు కావటంతో లండన్ పోయి బ్రిటీష్ వాళ్ళు వద్దంటున్నా వాళ్ళకు టాయ్ లెట్ పేపర్లతో వాళ్ళ ముడ్డి తుడుస్తూ, తన ముడ్డి తుడుచుకోటానికి తీరికలేక బాధ పడుతున్నాడు. ఇలాటి పరిస్థితులలో, తండ్రి వదిలేసి పోయిన 70 ప్లాట్లను వెతికి పట్టుకుని, వాటిని అమ్మి సొమ్ము చేసుకుని, ఆ డబ్బును హవాలాలో లండన్ పంపించుకునే, అక్కడ ఒక ఇల్లు కొనుక్కోవాలనే అతగాడి కోరిక నెరవేరటం లేదు.

అయితే , ఈ స్పెక్యులేటర్లు అందరూ, ఈ భూములను స్వంత డబ్బులతో కొనలేదు. వ్యవసాయం, పరిశ్రమలు, వ్యాపారాలు, రకరకాల పేర్లతో , బ్యాంకులనుండి రకరకాల అప్పులను గుంజి, ఆనిధులను దారి మళ్ళించి భూముల స్పెక్యులేషన్ లో పెట్టారు. అలా కొన్న భూములను అమ్మినా బ్యాంకు లోన్లను కట్టరు. కారణమేమంటే, అమ్మినపుడు వచ్చే డబ్బులో అధిక భాగం నల్ల డబ్బే, బ్యాంకుల్లో కట్టటానికి పనికి రానిది. ఫిలితంగా భూములను అమ్మినా , అమ్మక పోయినా బ్యాంకుల అప్పులు ఎన్ పీ ఏ లు (నిరర్ధక ఆస్తులు) గా మారిపోయాయి. స్టాకుల్లేని గోడౌన్లను బ్యాంకులు స్వాధీనం చేసుకుని సరుకును అమ్మకానికి పెట్టలేవు. ఫలితంగా , బ్యాంకుల అధికారులు తేలుకుట్టిన దొంగల్లాగా ఊరుకుంటున్నారు. స్పెక్యులేటర్లు భూములను తెల్ల డబ్బుకు భూములను అమ్మి ఋణాలు కట్టే దాకా బ్యాంకుల అధికారులు ఏడుస్తూ కూర్చోవాల్సిందే. పై గా వారికి హామీగా ఇచ్చిన ఆస్తులను బ్యాంకులు అమ్మటానికి పూనుకున్నా, కొనుగోలుదారులు ముందుకు రాకుండా, స్పెక్యులేటర్లు చాలా జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకుంటున్నారు. డీ ఆర్ టీ (డెట్ రీ కవరీ ట్రిబ్యునల్ అనే ప్రత్యేక న్యాయస్థానాలు) లకు వెళ్ళినా జాప్యమే తప్ప అప్పులు తిరిగి రావటం లేదు. ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వం వారు గ్రామ కంఠం అనే పదం అర్ధాన్నే మార్చి పారేసి, గ్రామాల భూములను ఆక్రమణ దారులకు (అనగా తమ పార్టీ వారే అని వేరుగా చెప్పనవసరం లేదు.) పంచి పెడదామనుకుంటున్నట్లుగానే, నగర కంఠాలు అనే పదాన్ని సృష్టించినా ఆశ్చర్యపోనవసరం లేదు.

ఇది ఒక రకంగా, 2008 లో అమెరికాలో జరిగిన సబ్ ప్రైమ్ ఋణాల కుంభకోణం వంటిదే. 2008 లో అమెరికాలో అమెరికన్ ప్రభుత్వం, ఫెడ్రరల్ రిజర్వు బ్యాంకు కొన్ని ఉద్దీపకాలు పేరుతో వేల కోట్ల డాలర్లను ఋణాలు గా ఇచ్చి ఆబ్యాంకులను ఆదుకున్నాయి. భారత్ లో, కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం, బాసెల్ త్రీ ప్రమాణాలు అనే స్విట్జర్లాండులో జరిగిన అంతర్జాతీయ బ్యాంకింగు ప్రమాణాల ఒప్పందం వల్ల తప్పనిసరి అయి ప్రభుత్వరంగ బ్యాంకులకు బడ్జెట్ ద్వారా ఎంతో కొంత పెట్టుబడులను సమకూరుస్తున్నది. ఇంక ప్రైవేటు రంగ బ్యాంకుల విషయానికి వస్తే ఆ అవకాశం ఉండదు కాబట్టి అవి ఇసుకమేడలు లాగా తయారయ్యాయి.

Ms. Sushma Swaraj has done great humanitarian service by helping the fugitive Mr. Lalit Modi to get travel documents. Ms. Sonia Gandhi had also done great humanitarian service by helping the Bofors Scam accused Mr. Quattrochi to flee from India. Now, is the time for them to do some inhumanitarian or unhumanitarian service to the 300 poor Indian workers who are stranded in Qatar, whose employers have not been paying their wages for the last five months. They can instruct and enable the Indian Embassy in Qatar, at least to pay some subsistence wages, and probably arrange some tents for their stay, apart from buying their Return Air tickets to India.



Mr. Narendra Modi has great respect to the Lok Sabha. He prostrated at the entrance of the Parliament, before entering it, first time, after BJP's Great Victory in 2014. Now, he is interested in getting ordinances signed by the President repeatedly, as he is unable to wait till 2016 when BJP will get sufficient majority in Rajya Sabha, to legislate on its own. Probably, the India Inc. industrial tycoons might have been pressing him for lands in the name of SEZs.

All the leaders apart from BJP and Congress bosses, including MPs and CMs of Regional Parties, knew at the time of bifurcation, it was not possilble to grant SPECIAL STATUS to Andhra Pradesh. They also knew that other States have a genuine claim, some of them are really more backward than A.P., to demand Special Status for themselves. But, the question, is why did they all allow the United A.P. to be cut into two, ignoring consequences? Why did the Regional Parties remain silent spectators?

When leaders make false promises, without knowing that they were making false promises, it becomes only misrepresentation.  But if leaders make false promises knowing pretty well that it is not possible (Not possible because other States will object, and because giving Special Status to one State, just for the sake of bifurcation), then it becomes a fraud, and the leaders will be guilty of cheating.  Mr. Venkaiah Naidu and Mr. Arun Jaitley are advocates and professionals.  They must know, when they make impossible promises.



If truth must prevail, we have to recognise that it will not be just to grant Special Status only to Andhra Pradesh, ignoring the claims of all other States. If Special Status is granted to every State, then the meaning of Special Status will be lost. In Telugu, we have a proverb: ' mandi ekkuvaitE majjiga palca baDatAyi. मंदि ऎक्कुवयिते मज्जिग पल्च बडतायि. మంది ఎక్కువైతే మజ్జిగ పల్చ బడతాయి. ' English meaning: If number of people (to share) goes up, the buttermilk (served to them) will become thin, i.e. water will have to be added. हिंदी मतलब: (पीने वाले ) लोग ज्यादा हो गये तो लस्सी भी पतला हो जाय । (मतलब - पीने वाले लोग ज्यादा हो गये तो, लस्सी में पानी जोडना अवश्य हो जायॆगा।

Mr. Venkaiah Naidu knows that sustainable self-development is more important than sustainable development of Nation or State. In the end, people will get sethAri on their head.

The post of Mr. Parakala Prabhakar, Special Advisor to A.P. Government, costs a lot for the starving exchequer of the State of Andhra Pradesh. A.P. Government should abolish this post immediately and save approx. Rs. 5 million per annum to the people of Andhra Pradesh. While appointing Mr. Prabhakar as Special Advisor, Mr. Nara Chandra Babu Naidu might have had great expectations. I do not find fault with Ms. Sitaraman and Mr. Prabhakar; they are too small a cog in the BJP machine.

The following comment is being attributed to Mr. Venkaiah Naidu, Union Urban Development and Parliamentary Affairs Minister.

Don't the coolies know that cutting down red sanders trees is a crime?  Do they go for work without knowing what kind of job it is?  क्या कूलियों को पता नहीं कि, रक्त चंदन पेडों को काटना एक अपराध है ?  क्या वे अपने काम के बारे में समाचार के बिना काम को जाते? రక్త చందనం చెట్లను కొట్టటం నేరమని కూలీలకు తెలీదా?  తాము చేయాల్సిన పని ఎలాటిదో తెలీకుండానే వారు పనికి వెళ్తారా?

If what is attributed above in Media is true, then we must consider Mr. Venkaiah Naidu as ignorant of workers behavior.  अगर मीडिया वार्ता कथन सच हो, तो हम श्री वॆंकय्या नायुडू को श्रामिक बर्ताव के बारे में अज्ञानी मानना होगा ।  మీడియా లో వచ్చిన పై వార్త నిజమే అయితే మనం శ్రీ వెంకయ్యనాయుడు గారిని శ్రామికుల ప్రవర్తన విషయంలో అజ్ఞానిగా భావించాల్సి వస్తుంది.

Why?  Mr. Venkaiah Naidu hails from a rural area in Andhra Pradesh.  The area lies on the borders of forests.  Villagers on the borders of forests eke out their living by collecting firewood, forest products etc.  For many of them, particularly illiterate laborers, it is almost a daily chore.  Some of them may already know that it is a crime to cut red sanders trees.  Some of them may also know that it was highly risky to venture into forests for livelihood.  At the same time, every villager in backward Districts is not a B.A., B.L., like Mr. Naidu.  Even Mr. Venkaiah Naidu as a lawyer, may not know all the laws, every Section in every Act, with added amendments, notifications etc. 


Even if the labourers know, they cannot avoid going to forests because woodcutting was a thousands of years old, very ancient occupation, since the days of man being a hunter.  Consequently, going to forests for collecting wood and forest produce became a human right.  Governments considering that forest trees as their State property, auctioning the trees to benefit forest contractors etc. were developments of later Centuries.  Of course, cutting red sanders or smuggling it may not be a human right.  But then, the State will have to make a distinction between the smugglers and woodcutters.


The object of this particular blog post is not-- to defend the red sanders smugglers, or their heinous act of killing forest Officials.  The criminals who killed the Forest and Police Officials earlier are definitely to be caught and punished appropriately.  If necessary, in self defence, police may have to use fire weapons against them.


The 20 wood-cutter labourers who died (may be smugglers or their assistants) are not likely to be the above criminals.  Now , the murderer criminals are still to be searched and 302 cases are to be booked against the smuggler mafia gang leaders.  This encounter is not a substitute for that.  Both are separate things.  Both the batches of smugglers/laborers are separate groups.


Living in dire poverty, some wood-cutters of Tamil Nadu might have been tempted to accept the work in Seshachalam, when they were offered double or higher wages than the wages paid to ordinary wood-cutters.


These are the days, when film stars who have already earned millions of bucks, who have received Padma Bhushans and Padma VibhUshans, Rajya Sabha Memberships,  may again and again expose every private part of theirs and dance obscenely, if they get more bucks. 

Is there any wonder, in laborers (they may not be innocent) accepting the work, without knowing the dire risk of getting  fired fatally?  They might have thought that they would go to jail if caught.  Or the mafia leaders might have assured them that they will arrange bail, appoint a lawyer, maintain their families while in jail, etc.  Of course, the laborers believing the words of the smuggler mafia lost their lives, for taking an undue risk for a few more bucks.

It is also a different thing that A.P. Govt. or Tamil Nadu Government pays them some compensation.  After all, the politicians or the Officials do not pay the compensation from their pockets.  The amounts will be paid from exchequer. 


Besides , compensation is not a substitute for loss of lives.   When a physical laborer dies, a Nation loses his productivity for 30 years ie. for 9000 days, nearly Rs. 4.5 million.  A Nation which takes pride in its young population, its productivity, should not throw away their lives, unless there are unavoidable circumstances.   These unavoidable circumstances are to be checked now.


Some pertinent questions which arise:

1. The Police and Forest authorities claim that "Shoot at sight" orders have been passed and publicised. 

a) Have sign boards of large size placed on FOREST PATHS in Tamil and Telugu languages, warning about the RISK OF BEING SHOOT ON SIGHT?

b) Have the "shoot at sight" orders been repeatedly beamed ON TV CHANNELS in Tamil and Telugu languages in Andhra Pradesh, and the neighboring Districts of Tamil Nadu?

c) Have sufficient number printed pamphlets been printed in Tamil and Telugu languages and distributed in the A.P. and T.N. border districts?

d) Have Panchayats and Municipalities of the area been informed of the SHOOT AT SIGHT ORDERS?

e) Now-a-days both the Central and State Governments send a number of mobile SMSes even for flimsy things.  Did they send any such "SMS" messages about SHOOT AT SIGHT ORDERS to any mobiles in Chittoor, Cuddapah and the adjacent Districts in Tamil Nadu?

f) Did they show any slides or short-films in the local cinema halls, about the Shoot at Sight Orders?

g) Did they make sufficient number of announcements on loud speakers, before resorting to fire?

h) Why didn't they try firing into sky, firing at legs, before resorting to direct fire?  Are there are any special circumstances for skipping the first two prerequisites?

i) Did they exhibit some RED WARNING BOARDS at Lorry & Mini Lorry stands, auto stands to warn the laborers?

j) Did they announce it All India Radio Stations of Cuddapah, Chennai?  In All India Radio, every hour we hear an advertisement "I am Narendra Modi.  etc. etc. "  The SHOOT AT SIGHT ORDERS could have been repeatedly announced on All India Radio.

Police and Forest Officials have every right to fire against attackers in self-defence.  But the question is: Is this right being exercised honestly and sincerely?  Are there any circumstances to believe that this right has been exercised honestly and sincerely?  This should now be checked through a judicial process.  If the Police and Forest Officials can show that they have followed the above precautions, they can expect full public support for their actions from public.

Normally, Police, Forest, Excise Officials do not move, when people approach them with complaints.  Bribes are necessary both to initiate an action which they are bound to take as per law, and to stop an action which they have started. 

There may be a strong desire on the part of the Police, Forest officials to take revenge against smugglers who have killed two innocent Officers discharging their duties.  But is this desire, a sufficient motivation to fire on a very large scale?

There are news reports that political leaders of the area have links with the smugglers, and that some of the political leaders themselves are the smugglers.  The Police and Forest Officials should have started their combing with the politicians and their cronies, by repeated inspections of their residences, factories, godowns, cattle sheds, plantations etc.  Let the Police and Forest Officials publish a list of politicians, industrialists, business persons, whose houses, factories, godowns, cattle sheds, plantations etc. they have searched, and the number of cases they have registered.  How many cases of disproportionate wealth in relation to sources of income they noticed during the searches, and what action they have initiated against the top king pins of the racket?

Justice should not only be done, but should also appear to have been done. 

Conclusion

Till India attains full employment in its true sense, coolies may have work with forests.  They will not have any work with angels (deva dUtAs).

అద్వానీ గారికి ప్రధానమంత్రి గౌరవ సలహాదారు పదవి, మానవ వనరుల మంత్రిత్వం ఇచ్చి, ఆయనకు సహాయమంత్రిగా సృతి ఇరానీ గారిని నియమిస్తే ఆమె ఆశాఖ లక్ష్యాలను, వనరులను, సవాళ్ళను, అర్ధంచేసుకోటం నేర్చుకొని ముందు ముందు క్యాబినెట్ ర్యాంకు పొంది ఉండేది.

డైరక్టుగా స్వర్గీయ పీవీ నరశింహారావువంటి మహామేథావి , బహుభాషా వేత్త , सहस्र फण् రచయిత, నిర్వహించిన మానవ వనరుల శాఖను కనీస విద్య చదవటాన్ని అశ్రధ్ధ చేసిన ఒక టివి నటికి ఎలా బంగారు పళ్ళెంలో సమర్పిస్తారు? గతంలో ఆమెకు కనీసం సహాయ మంత్రిగా పనిచేసిన అనుభవంగానీ, కనీసం ఒక ప్రైవేటు కాలేజీని నడిపిన అనుభవంగానీ లేవే. ఈ మోడివేషన్ (మోటివేషన్) వెనుక ఏదివ్య శక్తి ప్రభావం ఉన్నదో.

ఇకనామిక్స్ అర్ధశాస్త్రంలో ఇకనామిక్ మ్యాన్ ఆర్ధిక మనుష్యుడు ఉంటాడు. వీడు ఎంతో కొంత హేతుబధ్ధంగా ఆలోచిస్తాడు. ధర తగ్గితే కొనుగోళ్ళను పెంచుకుంటాడు. ప్రెడిక్టబుల్ బిహేవియర్ మనం ముందుగా ఊహించటానికి వీలైన ప్రవర్తన ఉంటుంది. ఇకనామిక్ మ్యాన్ అన్ ప్రెడిక్టబుల్ అయితే మనం డిమాండు కర్వ్ ను గీయలేం.

రాజకీయనాయకుల పరిపాలనా శాస్త్రం లో ఇలాంటి హేతుబధ్ధతలు ఏవీ ఉన్నట్లు కనబడవు. శ్రీమోడీ గారు తన నిర్ణయంలోని హేతుబధ్ధతను ఎలా సమర్ధించుకుంటారో. సాధారణంగా ఆయన మీడియాకు ఇంటర్వ్యూలను ఇవ్వరు. ఇచ్చినా తాను చెప్పింది వాళ్ళు వ్రాసుకోవాల్సిందే.

Mr. Joshi was a Physics Professor and was a stalvart in many Educational Commissions and Committees, besides being a Senior HRD Minister in Vajpayee's Cabinet. Mr. Advani needed no introduction.

శ్రీమోడీ ముందుకు వంగి పోయి ఆశీస్సులు కోరిన శ్రీమురళీ మనోహర్ జోషీ గారు విశ్రాంత ఫిజిక్స్ ప్రొఫెసర్. ఎన్నో మానవాభివృధ్ధి కమీటీలలో పనిచేయటమే కాక, వాజ్ పేయీ మంత్రి వర్గంలో మానవాభివృధ్ధి మంత్రిగా కూడ కొంత కృషిచేశారు. ఆయన మానవాభివృధ్ధి మంత్రిగా పూర్తిగా విజయం పొంది ఉండక పోవచ్చు. అపుడు ఆయనకు లభించింది కేవలం 1826 రోజులే (ఐదేళ్ళే). అపుడు సంపాదించిన అనుభవాల ప్రాతిపదికన తన తప్పులను సవరించుకుని, ఈ రెండవ 1826 రోజుల టర్మ్ లో మెరుగైన ఫలితాలను చూపేవాడేమో.

మురళీమనోహర్ జోషీ గారు తన చాపకిందకి నీళ్ళు వస్తున్నా ఒక జోక్ వేశారు. మంత్రి వర్గంలో ఎవరిని తీసుకోవాలో, ప్రధాని ఇష్టం అని అంటున్న, మోడీగారిని చామరాలతో విసిరి చల్లగాలి వీచేలా చూస్తున్న జోషి గారి మనః ఆంతర్యం ఏమిటో నాకర్ధం కావటం లేదు. దీని భావమేమి తిరుమలేశ?

ప్రధానమంత్రి తనకు నచ్చిన వారిని మంత్రి వర్గంలోకి తీసుకోటం అనేది నియంతృత్వం అవుతుంది తప్ప, ప్రజాస్వామ్యం అవదు. ఈసమస్యను మనం శాశ్వతంగా పరిష్కరించుకోవాలంటే, మంత్రి వర్గం సభ్యులను, వారి శాఖలవారీగా, రహస్య బ్యాలెట్ ద్వారా, ఎంపీలు ఎన్నుకునే నిబంధనలను మనం ఏర్పాటు చేసుకోవాలి. దీని కొరకు మనం ఒక ప్రత్యేక చట్టం చేసుకోవాలి. అవసరమైతే రాజ్యాంగాన్ని సవరించుకోవాలి.

Actually, it seems to be the fault of Mr. Vajpayee, Mr. Advani and Mr. Murali Manohar Joshi to have encouraged Mr. Narendra Modi, by exporting him from Delhi to Ahmedabad as Chief Minister in 2002.

శ్రీ నరేంద్రమోడీ చేత ప్రణామాలు చేయించుకుని ఆయనను ప్రోత్సహించిన శ్రీ వాజ్ పేయి, శ్రీ అద్వానీ, శ్రీ ము.మ. జోషీ గారిది ఈ దోషం అవుతుంది, తప్ప శ్రీ మోడీది అవదు.
