1007 Voters of USA ought to have elected a President like Mr. Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh State, India

The People of the United States of America have in a most unexpected manner elected Mr. Donald Trump as their President. Now, some of them must be enjoying it, and some others must be regretting it. This month only, the People of the United Kingdom have given their throne to their Tory Leader Ms. Theresa May, albeit with a reduced majority, below her expectations, and gave a lift up to Mr. Jeremy Corbyn and the Whigs. In France, the Nation which broke the Prison of Bastille in 1789, they elected a somewhat mild Centrist Mr. Emmanuel Macron to their Elyse Palace. But none of them in their nearly 300 years of Democracy might have seen a leader like Mr. Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, the present Chief Minister of the State of Andhra Pradesh, India, a very Senior Politician in the Field of Politics since 1978. None of the three i.e. Mr. Donald Trump, Ms. Theresa May, Mr. Emmanuel Macron can match Mr. Nara Chandra Babu Naidu in any respect. Only Mr. Narendra Modi, the Present Prime Minister of India can outclass him.

To understand the acumen of Mr. Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, the following quotes will be enough:--Link:--Click here to go the full source: http://www.hindustantimes.com/india-news/if-you-don-t-like-my-govt-don-t-take-pension-or-use-roads-built-by-us-andhra-cm-to-voters/story-h2hi37hTT1th4BhyjPDN4H.html. Title of the Report: "If you don’t like my govt, don’t take pension or use roads: Andhra CM to voters"
Here are a few quotes:--
You want to enjoy pensions given by me and travel on the roads built by my government. But you don’t want to vote for me. How is it justified?

"...If you don’t like my government, don’t take the pensions and don’t use the roads..."

(To his Telugu Desam Party Workers): "...If they don’t vote for us, ask them why … even after getting so many benefits from us. I will not hesitate to ignore such villages that don’t vote for us...."

"...Why do you still crave for the money distributed by corrupt political leaders and vote for their parties? How can a 500- or 1,000-rupee note given by them change your fortune?..."

"...Some political parties are luring voters by distributing money, which they had earned through corrupt means. I, too, have the capacity to pay Rs 2,000 or even Rs 5,000 per vote to the people..."

"...For that, I have to indulge in corrupt practices and loot 100 times more from the people. But I will not indulge in such corrupt politics. ..."

So, American Citizens: Do not use your Health Care! So American Unemployed!!! Do not take your Unemployment Beenefits upto US$450 per week given by your State Governments, if you are not going to vote for the present rulers.

So, British Citizens: Do not draw your Health Benefits from the British Health Budget of Pounds 110 billion ! Do not claim your Unemployment Benefits ranging from Pounds 60 to Pounds 80 per week!, if you are not going to vote for the present rulers

So, French Citizens: Refuse your Health Benefits under Protection Universelle Maladie (PUMA). Kindly refuse your Unemployment Allowances upto Euro 6,000 per month, if you are not going to vote for the present rulers.

American Voters, British Voters, French Voters may have to learn a lot from Indian Voters

Here is a quote attributed to Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, the 2017 Chief Minister of Delhi:
"...If Congress or BJP candidates offer money, do not refuse it. Accept it as it is your own money and there is nothing wrong in getting it back. If they do not offer money, go to their offices and ask for it. ..."

1005 Mr. Donald Trump seems to have studied in the College of Swami Vivekananda

Mr. Donald Trump is the President of United States. Swami Vivekananda was an Indian Monk who extensively toured United States from 1893 to 1902 (with a gap), starting with the purpose of attending the World Congress of Religions 1893, Chicago. During the period, he had given lectures in American Cities such as Chicago, Detroit, San Francisco, New York on Religion. He had also established in U.S., monasteries of his cult. He passed away on 4th July 1902, 4th July being the Day of American Independence. Many of his disciples and Indians believe that Vivekananda chose his date of mahA NirvANa as the 4th July-American Independence, to commemorate the inseparable link his life had with the Americas. I have written more than 200 posts, based on the Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda. My Readers, if they are interested, can have a look at them, at my blog linked from here: Click here go to http://vivekanandayb.blogspot.com

Ques: How can you say that Mr. Donald Trump, the Eccentric American President studied in the College of Swami Vivekananda?

Ans: See this news link: Click here, to go to http://www.newsy.com/stories/trump-explains-why-he-appointed-rich-people-to-his-cabinet/, if you wish to see the full report.. I shall quote from what President Trump said at Iowa, on : 22nd July 22, 2017, reporting courtesy By Briana Koeneman.
"I love all people, rich or poor," he said. "But in those particular positions, I just don't want a poor person. Does that make sense?"

He was praising Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross and chief economic adviser Gary Cohn who were both in the crowd.

Ross made billions of dollars by restructuring bankrupt companies and selling them for a profit.

And Cohn was the former president and chief operating officer of Goldman Sachs before he left to run Trump's National Economic Council.

"Somebody said, 'Why did you appoint rich person to be in charge of the economy?'" Trump said. "I said, 'Because that's the kind of thinking we want.' I mean, you know, really. Because they're representing the country."

Ques: How do you compare these utterances of Trump, to the sayings of Swami Vivekananda?

Ans: Swami Vivekananda advised his brother disciple Swami Akhandananda to keep funds in custody of trusty HOUSEHOLDER OF WEALTH. Vivekananda wrote to Swami Akhandananda from London on the 13th November 1895.
"... Whenever you hear of any householder collecting funds in my or our name on the plea of erecting a Math, or some such thing, the first thing you should do is to distrust him, and never set your hand to it. The more so, as householders of poor means take to various tricks to supply their wants. Therefore, if ever a trusty devotee or a householder with a heart, being of affluent circumstances, undertakes such works as the founding of a Math, or if the funds raised be kept in the custody of a trusty householder of wealth — well and good, otherwise never have a hand in it. ... 998 Pope Francis seems to be slightly different from his predecessors, but still he has a long way to go!

Pope Francis seems to be slightly different from his predecessor Popes in the sense that at least superficially he shows interest in workers, relationships between Employers and Workers, Entrepreneurship philosophies, whereas his predecessors were more seemed to be concerned with ecclesiastical matters. Some of the observations made by Pope Francis to Industrial Workers whom he met on 27th May 2017, during a visit to a struggling Steel Factory in Genova. This news link from Click here to go http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/pope-meets-steel-workers-italian-port-city-genoa-47675276 is very important, in the context of today's troubled Capitalist World. What made me happy by Pope's action is, that he took pains and chose to visit the Steel Factory in Genoa, instead of confining himself to his Palace, and uttering some mumbo jumbo to those who visit his Theocratic Empire. Some sayings of Pope during this visit are worth remembering, observing for at least a decade to come.

Quotes from Relevant Links

Francis distinguished what he called the "real entrepreneur," a person who "shares the labors of workers and shares the joys of work" to create something together, and speculators who are not bothered when they fire workers in a search for profit.

"...One sickness of the economy is the gradual transformation of entrepreneurs into speculators..."

"...The speculator doesn't love his business, doesn't love the workers, but only sees the business and workers as the means to make profit. ..."

He decried a political system that "sometimes seems to encourage" speculators, "not those who invest and believe in work."

He also denounced those who claim that workers do their jobs only for the money, saying that "denies the dignity of work."

ybrao-a-donkey's personal views which are not intended to be imposed on others:

In my mother tongue Telugu language, spoken by 100 million people worldwide, there is a proverb: "E rOTi mundu A rOTi pATalu". Its approximate English literary meaning: Appropriate songs for the particular mortar, before that particular mortor". Explanation: Before freedom of India in 1947, villages and small towns did not have electric power. For grinding and pounding grains in stone mortars with pestles they used to employ manual workers especially women. Two to four women used stand around the mortars and grind/pound the grains, and to relax/refresh themselves from the strenuous labor, they used to sing songs. There used to be two or three more women sitting on the ground for sifting the grain / flour, with big sieves, who used to add their voices as choruses.

The songs used to vary from mortar to mortar, house to house, street to street, even village to village. Hence, a person who works on mortars had to be very familiar with different varieties of mortar songs rOTi pATalu, if he-she wants to get harmoniously employed wherever they go. These folklore songs do not carry much personal commitment, attachment or dedication, beyond melody, rhythm, acceptability to the other members of the mortar-team.

One feature of Orations and Orators, world-wide

Orations and Orators have evolved worldwide, among various sections and strata such as politicians, religious leaders, film stars, sports persons, diplomats, bureaucrats, etc. have evolved to specialise in these "E rOTi daggara A rOTi pATalu" (Singing the tunes of that particular mortar, depending upon the country, province, region, language, religion, culture etc).

I hope the Oration of Pope Francis will not go waste.

These Employer-Worker Relations-- and Business Goals, Philosophies and Practices are all 1000 page subjects each, which are important for my focused goals of this blog: True Total Socialism, and Atheism. We have to discuss these issues threadbare at this blog, in the days to come.

991 World's Heads of State, and Heads of Governments, will not hesitate to perform any dance anywhere, any time, as long as they can sell arms and weapons!!!

Mr. Donald Trump's true colors have come out. It has been not only been proved that Mr. Trump is not different from his predecessor American Presidents, but also that he is not different from the Heads of the States and the Heads of the Governments of numerous other European, North American, ANZ, South East Asian countries which sell aircraft, arms, weapons, and myriad other merchandise. The basic philosophy of today's politics and trade is same. As long as arms, aircraft, complex, dificult-to-use yet obsolete weapons can be palmed off at super-high prices to to crazy Nations which have piled up huge foreign exchange reserves, through a quirk of luck bounties such as oil reserves- our Preacher Heads of States and Heads of Governments will not hesitate to perform any type of dances, including Sword Dance. Why doesn't Mr. Donald Trump visit Somalia or Ethiopia? Because, they do not have the bucks to purchase arms, aircraft, weapons.

Why did Mr. Donald Trump make Saudi Arabia, the first country for his foreign visit, instead of U.K. or France, who are their chums?

Mr. Donald Trump and his Advisers know too well that Saudi Arabia is one of the countries which ignite and enflame religious fanaticism and Islamic Terrorism, world wide. They also know that Saudi will not spare even the brother Islamic countries, if they follow Shia or Sufi philosophies of Islam. In spite of this knowledge, Mr. Trump and his advisers chose KSA as their first country for foreign visits.

Will U.S. slow down Shale Oil production?

With the advent of Shale Oil Exports from United States, at least some citizens of the World expected that Saudi's massive Foreign Exchange Reserves built on Oil Wells will slow down, and that Saudi Arabia will stop overtly or covertly financing Sunni Islamic Terrorism. Now, one gets an impression that United States wants to slow down on Shale Oil, and strengthen the hands of Saudi Arabia, in terms of Oil Export Earnings. And those Oil Export Earnings, U.S. seems to pocket by selling arms, aircraft and weapons. What a cunning idea? Mr. Trump seems to be playing with venomous snakes and inextinguishable fires. The Citizens of United States, in their hatred of non-white intellectual immigrants, seem to have elected, if not a perfect idiot, at least a sometimes sane and sometimes insane person as their President.

ybrao-a-donkey's personal views, not intended to be imposed on others

Mr. Trump may be having a strong internal urge, to experiment and test all the American Arms and Weapons by launching them on some country or other. However, there seems to be one change in approach. He seems to have abandoned the idea of directly using the weapons by US itself. Because, that will be wastage of precious economic resources. After all, billions of dollars might have been spent on developing them. If he sells them to Saudi Arabia, and propel it to use on other Nations, the work of experimenting and testing will become 'free of costs' or 'nearly free of expenses'. As new arms and weapons will have to be developed and manufactured, it will also generate employment to the American Natives.

965 Who is in cocoon and who is in cage? The cocooner should ask the cager!!!

Hunger-atulations to Mr. Donald Trump on the occasion of his completing his 100 days in power. His comments on this occasion, courtesy Router.com are worth remembering for some days to come, not because they contain any extra-ordinary extro-reflections or intro-reflections, but because we have to take into account his jubilations and frustrations as the Head of the World's Feudo-Capialist System (Clearer: Feudal-Capitalist System). It is also difficult to gauge whether he fully or partly really knows the horrors of Capitalism and the endless hazards it places on its victims and sufferers. We shall first start with the Reuters Link: Click here to go to http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-100days-idUSKBN17U0CA. These comments we cannot take as 'prasUti vairAgyam' (Telugu language spoken by 100 millions idiom. English: prasUti=delivery of a baby. vairAgyam=Remorse, detachment, and a feeling of renunciation which a person, particularly the pregnant woman gets at the time of her pains during delivery), or 'smaSAna vairAgyam' (English: smaSAnam=grave yard/cremation ground. vairAgyam=Penitence, as preceding. The feeling of repentence a person gets when he-she visits a grave/cremation, when a feeling of total transience of life comes into fore), because prasUti vairAgyam and smaSAna vairAgyam are emotional disturbances confined to individuals and their family members surrounding them. But, frustrations of Presidents, Prime Ministers and Dictators can lead to World Wars, use of chemical weapons, nuclear weapons, Mother of All Bombs.

FIBRES AND THREADS FROM DONALD TRUMPS COCOONS

"I was accustomed to not having privacy in my "old life ... I am suprised surprise at how little I have now. ... I am still getting used to having 24-hour Secret Service protection and its accompanying constraints."

"... You're really into your own little cocoon, because you have such massive protection that you really can't go anywhere ..."

"... I missed being behind the wheel myself. ..."

"... I like to drive. ... I can't drive any more."

ybrao-a-donkey's views, which are not intended to be imposed on others

Some previous American Presidents, including Barack Obama , might have maintained their calm, and emotional equilibrium even amidst trying circumstances (Telugu idiom: pancAgni madhyam-- Engl. "in the midst of five fires", a method of rigorous penance undertaken by Seekers of Self-Realisation), but Mr. Trump is relatively outspoken, when compared to many of the past Presidents. It is probable, that he may also be indulging in some self-pity, or it is an inimitable his own style of boasting 'HA! How great is my security. Which else world leader will have the grandeur-s of my 'Secret Service' Security Bandwagons!. Telugu language: CImalu dUrani ciTTaDavi, kAkulu dUrani kAraDavi. Approx. English: WhiteHouse Security is like a dense forest in which ants cannot intrude, or crows cannot fly through.

Who asked all these Presidents, Prime Ministers, Dictators, Monarchs, Kings and Emperors, to enter into cocoons? On their own volition they enter. On their own volition they do dozens of things which are ANTI PEOPLE, ANTI WORKING CLASS. They do not mind encouraging terrorist and militant persons, groups, Heads of State, Heads of Government, countries to indulge in homicides, genocides, infanticides, and what not?

SELF-INCARCERATING IN COCOONS AND CAGES BY HEADS OF STATE , AND HEADS OF GOVERNMENT, WE NEED NOT SYMPATHIZE.

Why should we sympathize them, when the self-incarcerations are their own, and which they within their own minds and consciences (if at all they have any consciences, albeit they may have crooked minds) view within themselves when alone, with great glee and pride.

We should be grateful to the Dailymail.co.uk for bringing to light these harsh realities about the persons who live in cages in Hong Kong. Some are realities which are capable of bringing tears into our eyes, about these HORRORS OF CAPITALISM:-

PUBLISHED by DailyMail on: 11:22 BST, 13 February 2014. In these three years, things might have worsened:--

Crammed into wire mesh boxes the size of coffins, these are the penniless people forced to live like animals in one of the world's richest cities.

Hong Kong's forgotten 'caged dogs' pay about HK$1,500 a year (£117) to live in a city whose small size and high population pushes the rent on even a tiny flat far out of the reach of its poorest residents.

The poverty-stricken people keep their clothes and photos of loved ones next to filthy blankets in their cages, which measure 6ft long and between 2 1/2 ft and 3ft wide and are stacked on top of each other.

Some of them cannot stretch their legs out straight and are forced to sleep curled up in a ball.

ife in a cage: Yan Chi Keung, 57, reads the newspaper in his cage home in Hong Kong. The wire mesh boxes are 6ft long and up to 3ft wide and cost £117 a year, compared to £1,240 a month for a small, privately-rented one-bedroom apartment. More than 220,000 people are on the housing waiting list.

Caged dogs: Retired Kong Sui Kao, 64, lives in this cage in a cramped room alongside seventeen other people on the roof of a 12-storey block. His underwear hangs on a coat hanger, his shirts are inside the cage and his meagre possessions are stored on a makeshift shelf above his feet

Retired manual labourer, 79-year-old Tai Lun Po, has lived in his cage home for 30 years. The inhabitants are stacked on top of each other in damp, dark conditions.

Poverty: Eight-year-old Lee Ka Ying lives in a 6ft square 'cubicle cage home' with her mother, pcitured. For many it is the only way to work in the overcrowded city British-born photographer Brian Cassey, who lives in Cairns, Australia, is the latest to document residents of shocking cage homes who are known locally as 'caged dogs'.

INDIAN CONDITIONS are somewhat different

Indian conditions are somewhat different. Some poor among us live in thatched homes of less than 100 sq.ft.in area. For example, I have spent four years of my boyhood (1964-1968 March) in a thatched hut of less than 100 sq.ft, with my four brothers, and parents. In addition to the five children, during that period, two sons were born to my parents, both of whom died in their infancy. I have seen people in our surroundings, living in round huts of 4 ft. radius. But, we were never caged dogs., though we might have faced hardships in fetching drinking water, bathing water, two square meals etc. Our freedoms were never at loss. We could move freely amidst dirt, mud, make muddy-toys for playing, go in the lanes plying used cycle tires, pick up used empty cigarette packets, match boxes in the streets, and play 'baechchAs -stone slab strikers(Telugu language)' with them. Playing glass marbles was our sport, in addition to playing baechchas.

Whom should we sympathize? Cage dogs of Hongkong (&probably Japan)? Or the Donald Trump in his cocoon?

900 (5/10 of Donald Trump Series) What happens in US cannot really be important for India, but what happened, is happening and will happen in China in next decade is goign to be of great importance to India

This blog is not an America hate-blog, or a China hate-blog. Not that United States is not important to me, or India. But what Mr. Donald Trump does, or what the US Government does, is reasonably predictable. But what China does, and will do cannot be predicted with reasonable means. Trigger for this blogpost: Click here to go to Wikipedia.org https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mao_Zedong to study about Shri Mao Tse Tung . When I saw this Wikipedia article about Mr. Mao Tse Tung (Mao Ze Dong) I was flabbergast.

Reason: This Wikipedia.org article about Mao Ze Dong, ignored totally, about the attitude of Late Mao Tse Tung, towards India. International Readers may be aware that China, without any prior warnings, invaded Ladakh, and Arunachal Pradesh (North East Frontier Agency NEFA at that time) of India in 1962, and occupied approx. 36,000 sq. miles of Indian Territory. This could not have taken place, without the active command, or acquiescent orders of Late Mao Ze Dong. China's occupying Tibet in 1959, which led to the flight of Dalai Lama to India, in 1959, too could not have taken place without the knowledge of Late Mao.

Was Invasion of Tibet, and China, a DIVERSIONAL TACTIC of Late Mao?

It seems to be. See this Wikipedia.org quote from the above linked page:

"... In an effort to win favour with their superiors and avoid being purged, each layer in the party hierarchy exaggerated the amount of grain produced under them. Based upon the fabricated success, party cadres were ordered to requisition a disproportionately high amount of that fictitious harvest for state use, primarily for use in the cities and urban areas but also for export. The result, compounded in some areas by drought and in others by floods, was that rural peasants were left with little food for themselves and many millions starved to death in the largest famine known as the Great Chinese Famine. This famine was a direct cause of the death of some 30 million Chinese peasants between 1959 and 1962. Further, many children who became emaciated and malnourished during years of hardship and struggle for survival died shortly after the Great Leap Forward came to an end in 1962.

yb-a-donkey's personal observations which are not intended to be imposed on others

After discounting a part of the above information, as an exaggerated reporting by Western Media, still there seems to be some basic truth about the information.

To divert the attention of the Chinese masses who were unhappy with the mis-management on food front, Mao Tse Tung, seems to have ventured to invade Tibet, and India.

Today also, many actions of China, seem to forebode Chinese intentions of voracious territorial greed, as can be evidenced by its hunting into the South China Sea, threatening all the Nations in the vicinity of South China Sea.

898 (3 of 10 series) Mr. Donald Trump should first concentrate on Export Competitiveness of United States

Gone was the colonial era of Euro-American supremacy in production of goods and services, and their capabilities to palm them off to the world at exorbitant and extortionate prices to the rest of the world. Both in production of labor-intensive goods and services, and the production of technology-intensive goods and services, several competitive countries have arisen, and are still arising. As long as there was no competition from East and South East Asia, American Businesses prospered and they were able to pay high salaries and wages to their blue and white collared workers and employees, and the white settlers in United States drew bloated remunerations in relation to their qualifications, skills, quantity and quality of their output. American Cities prospered and glowed. Once competition from East Asia and South East Asia soured, and the Asian goods and services started making waves not only in global markets, but also in Euro-American Markets, American Cities started withering away. Euro-American cities also withered.

An Example of American City withering: Detroit, Michigan. Example of European City withering: London. But London, recouped itself, by creating tax havens such as British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Gibralter etc. Consequently London has not become a dead city, and its prosperity continues. But Detroit died, because it could not shift to some nefarious means. It knew only car making and hence it suffered death.

Mr. Trump ought to concentrate on dead cities, dying cities, stagnating cities. He seems to think that American industries having work stations abroad, can be brought back, by punishing them. That idea may be only partly correct. If American labor becomes more competent, productive, cheap, abundant, and the American Taxation system becomes less corrupt and less punitive, many American Industries will definitely come back. But, under the administration of Mr. Trump, this is not likely to happen.

A perception that American White Natives are averse to Manual Work and Menial Work

Knowledgeable persons say that because American White Natives are averse to take up jobs involving manual labor, and menial tasks, Mexican Laborers are crossing the borders, and that the American Industries operating in U.S.A., have no alternative except to employ the Mexicans. Can Trump make American White Natives to take up manual labor jobs, and menial tasked jobs?

A perception that American White Natives are not inclined to study subjects involving MENTAL LABOR

Knowledgeable persons say that American White Natives prefer easy subjects like Arts, Fashion Design etc. as compared to intellectually toiling subjects like Mathematics, Physics. There is an impression, owing to this reason only, many jobs involving intellectual toil are being offered to Indian and Chinese students who have no alternative except to accept them at lower wages, because they want to retain their foothold in United States. Else, going back to India or China, they may have to take up some listless jobs. (In India, Engineers are applying to Municipal Sweeper jobs). According to one understanding, it will take another ten years, to prepare the present 10 year aged children for their entry into higher education courses involving intellectual toil. Mr. Trump may have to do lot of home work, in this front.

897 (2 of 10 series) Mr. Donald Trump should not act like a Selfie-seeker who walks backwards and falls in a Waterfall

Mr. Trump should not act like a Selfie-seeker who walks backwards, and falls in a waterfall. When we see the Executive Orders passed by Mr. Trump, the newly elected 2017-21 American President, we get an impression that he is acting in haste. The President of the theoretically most powerful country in the world in terms of weapons and wealth, is expected to act with great circumspection and discretion. Any misadventure or mala fide act on his part can-, not only land his country into an irretrievable trap, but also throw the entire world into chaos, disaster and misery, not exclusively on account of destruction from terrorism and wars, but more intensely from economic collapses. Mr. Trump may be a successful businessman in his own right, but the fact remains that worldwide, businesses can make profits, for extraneous reasons which cannot, at all, be attributed to the business acumen of their owners. The only condition for those businesses to get benefit from such extraneous and windfall profits will be that, the owners should not kill a golden goose. On the other hand, even an unsuccessful person in his personal domains can sometimes lead his Nation to great heights of Peace and Prosperity. Successes and failures depend on a number of factors.

In Telugu language, there are several good proverbs, which depict the misadventurism of Mr. Trump.
Telugu maxim/proverb Approx. English gist Observation
kOtiki kobbari kAya doriki naTlu Like monkey which got into is hand a coconut. The monkey which catches a coconut tosses it, plucks it, hits it, does everything with it, till such time the coconut breaks.
krotta bicca gADu proddu eragaDu A new beggar does not know the time to beg. A new beggar ignores not only the correct time to beg, but also ventures to beg everywhere. He does not know where to beg, when to beg, from whom to beg, how to beg.
asalE kOti, kallu trAgindi, nippu tokkindi. It is already a monkey, it drank toddy and got inebriated, then it fell on cinders of fire. A monkey, by its very nature is fickle, and unpredictable in behavior. The misbehavior worsens, when the monkey consumes alcohol. Then if it falls on cinders of fire, and burns its feet/legs, it will make great hue and cry, till its pain and intoxication subsides.
kOti punDu brahma rAkshasi An abscess of a monkey, becomes a giant demon. An abscessed monkey may behave like a monstrous demon, and become uncontrollable.
konDa muccu peLLiki kOti peranTALLu For the wedding of a Lemur, apes are invited as guests, bridesmaids, groomsmen etc. America inviting British PM, French President, German Chancellor, Russian President to share leadership of the world (or conversely, the other leaders longing to share the world leadership with Mr. Trump, falls under this category)

yb-donkey's personal views which are not intended to be imposed on others

WHO CAN MONITOR AND CONTROL THE PROFLIGACY OF UNITED STATES?

U.S.A. is world's largest debtor. But, countries of the world have no alternative except to park their reserves with American Banks or the American Federal Reserve Bank (which role, earlier Bank of England used to discharge to some extent). Even China parks its surplus reserves with US, knowing pretty well that all eggs cannot be kept in one basket. Consquently, when US sneezes, all other countries catch cold, and they too not only sneeze, but they also cough incessantly calling "Recession ! Recession !!".

Though theoretically, European Banks can accept US Dollar funds of China's Exchange Reserves, calling them Euro Dollars, or some other term, they have not been able to prove themselves to be powerful competitors as Reserve currency countries, and Reserve Currency Banks. IMF and BIS (Bank for International Settlements), try to control/regulate all other countries in the world, they have not been able to take any corrective measures in respect of the profligacy of the United States.

U.S.A. lost control of its reckless imports. U.S. does not adequately takes care of its balance of trade adversity. Even during the reign of Mr. Barack Obama, this happened.

WALL STREET INVESTMENT BANKS

Wall Street Investment Banks have not stopped their nefarious methods of working.

Nor did the American Banks who excel in SUB-PRIME LENDING, which they indulge in consciously, have learnt any lessons from their 2008 traumatic experiences. They have lost their sight of Banking prudence, probably because they are accustomed to being bailed out by US Government and Federal Reserve. US Govt. and the Federal Reserve, instead of trying to discipline the erring Bankers, and saving the American Banking, buy time and postpone the problem, pampering them with fund support which they do not deserve.

Neither the Wall Street Investment Banks, nor the American Commercial Banks will listen to Mr. Donald Trump, even if he tries to reform them, while Trump attempting to discipline Wall Street Banks and other Commericial Banks, itself is a remote thing which may not happen at all.

U.S. Government has already exceeded its maximum permissible limits of its Internal Borrowings, and External Borrowings. Last time, when a crisis situation arose during Obama's Rule, American Congress had to come to his rescue by raising the maximum limit at a last moment. It is quite possible that similar situations can recur, during Trump's tenure.

882 Is Mr. Bernie Sanders, runners-up to Hillary Clinton for Democratic Presidential Candidature, turning Pro-Trumper?

Is Mr. Bernie Sanders, runners-up to Hillary Clinton for Democratic Presidential Candidature, turning into Pro-Trumper? Ans: It appears so. See this link: Click here to go to http://www.politico.com/story/2017/01/bernie-sanders-can-work-with-trump-233532, an study how Mr. Sanders is eager to bend and kneel!. Prima facie it may appear that, losing-rivals in contests ought to co-operate with winners, and extend their helping hand in furthering the goals of the subject matter of the Competition, such as a "A Company, A Political Party, A Nation" or anything similar. But should there not be limits for such co-operation? Else, if the losers join the winners, what will happen to the innocent supporters, sympathizers, voters, writers, etc. who stood behind the losing campaigners? Are the supporters, sympathizers, voters, writers, media, workers, fools? In case of bourgeoisie politicians and parties, since all the parties and politicians have same or similar philosophies, such drastic shifts become understandable. But, this cannot be done in case of (self-proclaimed) Socialist politicians like Bernie Sanders.

"... I don’t think it makes sense to say, ‘No, we’re not gonna work in any way in any form with the Trump administration. ..."

"...Trump has talked appropriately about a collapsing infrastructure: our roads, bridges and water systems. If he is prepared to work with us on rebuilding America’s crumbling infrastructure and creating millions of jobs and doing it in a way that doesn’t privatize our infrastructure or give tax breaks to billionaires, yes, let’s work together . ..."

"...If he is prepared to work with us on a trade policy which works for the American worker and not just the CEO of large multinational corporations, let’s work together on those areas ..."

"...There will be no compromise on bigotry... There can be no compromise there, There can be no compromise, in my view, on protecting American democracy, working against voter suppression that many Republican governors are trying to bring about, and in my view there can’t be any compromise on climate change. ..."

ybrao-a-donkey's views which are not intended to be imposed on others:

I know I day-dream. Mr. Bernie Sanders also seem to day-dream, when he imposes some conditions on Mr. Donald Trump (see the above conditions). Is Mr. Sanders over-estimating himself? Does Mr. Trump need Sanders' support? Even if he needs, will he care to obtain the support, by melting down his own well-published convictions, fancies, announcements, whims, what not? Even if Trump is ready to compromise, will his Republican supporters, Business and Industrialist supporters, allow it?

Socialism is not just a question of some Allocations of funds for Infrastructure , or some modification of Trade Policies. The scope and spectrum of Socialism is too vast, and is un-compromise-able. If an American Socialist President could not be elected in 2016, he-she can be elected in 2020 or 2024. Four years period is too short a time, in histories of Nations. Ordinarily, there will not be any need to compromise.

QUALITY OF VOTERS AND QUALITY OF MPs REALLY MATTER

What determines the future of a Nation is the quality of its voters, and the quality of MPs they elect. In the interregnum between two elections, what genuine Socialists can do, will be-- to strive to improve the quality of voters, and the candidates they vote for.

Question: Why the quality of voters and MPs, is so important?

Ans: Introducing and implementing True Total Socialism, is not going to be as easy as Demonetizing a Nation's currency, or pushing Nations into skirmishes, battles and wars. When an effort is made to introduce true total socialism, even Civil Wars which may have an intensity greater than the Civil War which Abraham Lincoln fought, may arise/result. Without good quality citizens, and citizens' representatives, Socialism will fail a la the Bolshevik Revolution 1917. Anyway, a Self-proclaimed Socialist, expecting much from a hardcore Capitalist like Mr. Donald Trump, will be a wild goose chase. It will be like a thirsty person trying to quench his thirst, while running to capture water from a mirage.

There is a beautiful Telugu language verse to express this idea:

Poet Vemana, महा कवि वेमन. 15th Century A.D. Book: Vemana Satakam. वेमन शतकं. వేమన శతకం. Verse in Roman Script:

goDDuTAvu pituka kunDa kom pOyinA
panDla nUDa tannu, pAla niDadu
lObhi vAni naDuga lAbhambu lEdayA
viSva dAbhi rAma vinura vEma.

Hindi script:
गॊड्ड टावु पितुक कुंड कॊंपोयिना
पंड्ल नुड तन्नु पाल निडदु
लोभि वानि नडुग लोभंबु लेदया
विश्व दाभिराम विनुर वेम.

In Telugu script: గొడ్డు టావు పితుక కుండ కొంపోయినా
పండ్ల నూడ తన్ను పాల నిడదు
లోభి వాని నడుగ లాభంబు లేదయా
విశ్వదాభిరామ వినుర వేమ.

Englsh Gist: If we take a pot, and approach a barren-cow to milk it, it will kick us in such a way that we lose our teeth. But it will not yield any milk. This simile is used to justify the moral taught in the third line of the verse: There is no use of approaching and begging a miser (for loan or for financial help). A miser will not help.

Vemana wrote thousands of great verses in Telugu language. They convey not only ethics and morals, but they also communicate spiritual, mystical, renunciation-al (vairAgya) messages, most of which are secular. They are not religious prayers. About 5000 of such verses, in Telugu script are now available for download on internet. Late C.P. Brown, who worked for the East India Company in India, in 19th Century, translated many of them into English prose. PDF version of Brown's prose translation is available on Internet. One can google.

861 PRIME MINISTER IS HEAD OF GOVERNMENT. HE IS TO SPEAK WITH DIGNITY. HE IS NOT A CLOWN

Prime Minister's Post, world wide, is regarded as HEAD OF GOVERNMENT, and is honored with GREAT RESPECT. Conversely, people of any Nation expect their Prime Minister to speak with dignity. He is not a clown or joker. This expectation of Great Dignity on the part of a Prime Minister, does not as much apply to an Opposition Leader. The job of the Opposition is to criticize and make allegations. They too are expected to maintain the dignity expected of their position, but not as much as the Prime Minister. This is because 1. Prime Ministers have global exposures. 2. Usually for any country, there will be maximum one or two Prime Ministers. But, a country can have any number of opposition leaders, depending on the number of parties.

Recently, we have seen in 2016 American Presidential Elections, both the candidates have, occasionally, spoken like clowns, and they were appearing as though they were participating in a CLOWNERY CONTEST. Comparatively, between Ms. Hillary Clinton and Mr. Donald Trump, as far as CLOWNISHNESS is concerned, Mr. Trump looked like a larger clown, though factually, there may not be much difference between them.

CONTEXT
Forthcoming Elections in Uttar Pradesh. Election Rallies are in full swing. Rivals are shooting their darts against one another. Mr. Rahul Gandhi took out a damp squib of an allegation of corruption against Mr. Narendra Modi, which Mr. Prashant Bhushan, a Senior Supreme Court Advocate and Swaraj Abhiyan Party leader tried to convert into a PIL in Supreme Court. Unfortunately for Mr. Bhushan, Supreme Court did not accept the writ petition, and he was asked to produce some solid substantive evidence. Same allegation, Mr. Rahul Gandhi tried to reignite, adding some attributes like "There will be an earthquake if I speak". He wanted to speak in Parliament, but he could not get. There were demands on him to disclose the earthquake outside. What Rahul Gandhi has finally come out with were two diary notes in Sahara, and Aditya Groups, which mentioned that amounts aggrgating approx. Rs. 40 crore (Rs. 400 million) were paid to Mr. Narendra Modi, in 2013 and 2014. These were payments before the Lok Sabha Elections 2014, when Mr. Narendra Modi was Chief Minister of Gujarat, and he was rehearsing himself to be a Prime Ministerial candidate on behalf of BJP Party.

FUN OR RIDICULE CANNOT BE AN ANSWER TO WHAT RAHUL GANDHI SAID

Some tit-bits from the sarcastic speech of Mr. Narendra Modi:

"...They have a young leader who is just learning to give speeches. Since the time he’s learnt to speak, there’s no limit to my happiness. ..."

"... He (Rahul Gandhi) had been going around threatening that when he will speak, there will be an earthquake. If he hadn’t spoken, there could have been an earthquake. It would have been an earthquake that people would have had to deal with for 10 years. ..."

"... There is no chance of an earthquake now that he has spoken. We can be rest assured that there is no danger of the natural calamity in sight. ..."

"...He (Gandhi) may not have realised that he has admitted the failure of the long reign of his own party, ..."

"...I wonder whether he (Singh) was giving his own report card by admitting the dismal (poverty) situation…After all, he has been prime minister for two terms and a finance minister previously. Since the 1970s he has been holding key positions. ..."

yb-a-donkey's views, which cannot be imposed on Readers:

*Important reasons for success of BJP and Mr. Modi, in 2014 Lok Sabha Elections: Not only the so called charisma of Mr. Narndra Modi, but also 1. Mr. Rahul Gandhi's & his mother's failures. 2. Failures of Mr. Manmohan Singh and Congress. 3. Religious fanatism of SOME LARGE CHUNK of people in Varanasi, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. This fanatism still continues.

Nobody can say that India has not done substantial progress during the last 60 years, which includes rule by Congress, Janata 1977 experiment in which BJP too participated, Indira-Rajiv-VPSingh-PV Narasimha Rao, DeveGowda-Gujral United Front Rule, Vajpayee-Advani Rule, Manmohan Singh Rule. Notwithstanding corruption, everybody have done their best. Owing to tripling/quadrupling of population from 360 million to 1.3 billion between 1947 and 2016, all our efforts and achievements have gone in vain. Besides, spiralling of oil prices have escalated our difficulties. We have ben compelled to spend a sizable share of our budget on Defence, as we had to defend our borders against invasions and infiltrations by Pakisthan and China.

One happy feature for Mr. Narendra Modi's Government is, oil prices have touched rock bottom during the last 2 1/2 years. Now, they are again farming up because OPEC countries, Russia, and Saudi Arabia seem to gradually patch up their differences, and restrict oil production and supplies. Now, this is time for Mr. Narendra Modi to get ready for meeting RISING OIL PRICES. There is also a SERIOUS DANGER OF TERRORIST ATTACKS FROM ISIS, continuous-continual squirmishes both from China and Pakisthan.

Sometimes, it may be easy and satisfying for a leader to shake hands in peculiar ways, modulate voice in peculiar ways, and generate laughter and claps from people. But, these things are reserved for street-level (basti level) politicians. Shri Narendra Modi is a venerated R.S.S. worker, as a person endowed with great discipline. Besides, he is Prime Minister. His personality and behavior ought to become 'jewels' for the designation of the 'Prime Minister' and serve as an example to emulate for future Prime Ministers. Else, some other leader from BJP itself may arise, resort to similar gestures and speaking style, but outsmart the pioneer Shri Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister post may come and go. But, Shri Narendra Modi, should be remembered by the Nation, as INIMITABLE.

In Telugu language, there is a proverb: 'tADi nekku vAnini tala tannu vADu unTADu'. Approx. English gist: "A person felt elated when he climbed a palm tree, and was at the top. But his joy didn't last long. Some other person reached slightly higher than him, and kicked the first person's head from above." The purport of this proverb is, there is no permanent place for anybody at the top. Next person will come, and overshadow. There were days, when I believed that Mr. Polly Umrighar and Ajit Wadekar were at the top of the Indian Cricket. When things were looking hopeless, Mr. Sunil Gavaskar came-- a great contributor to Indian Cricket. Several records were set. I thought that he would be invincible and unbeatable. Then, Messrs. Kapil Dev, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Sehvag, Dhoni, Bedi, Prasanna, et al came and rewrote some records. Now the turns of Kohli, Asvin, Karun Nair et al have come. Simultaneously, there may be one or two persons who get excess awards, credits, fame, moola, fan-following, State-recognition etc. Mr. Tendulkar got his Bharat Ratna, for whatever be the undisclosed extraneous reasons. There may be unsung heroes also. Then, there may be fate-forsaken, God-forsaken (as an atheist I should not use these phrases) talented persons like Vinod Kambli, who get lost in the middle. Even in politics we see this: Mr. L.K. Advani could not reach the No. 1 level. Mr. Pranab Mukherjee too aspired for the No. 1 level. He has to satisfy with No. 1-A sort, though may be as per protocol the Supreme Commander and Head of State, still his true ambitions to become PMOI seem unfulfilled. In Capitalism, there can be no link/relationship direct or indirect, proportionate or disproportionate between talents, performances, and accomplishments.

Vocabulary notes:

The word UNIMITABLE is also correct as per Click to go to https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/unimitable. But UNIMITABLE seems to be archaic and anachronistic.

821 Mr. Donald Trump ought to have taken the assistance of Mr. KCR for his Campaigning and Debating

I am unable to determine whether to write in a lighter vein or in a serious tone about this. I write in a way as it comes, whether it is really worth it, or not worth it. At the end of the high-falutin and bloviating campaign talks of Mr. Donald Trump and Ms. Hillary Clinton, and the three high voltage TV debates between them which indicate that Ms. Clinton has won (at least in lashing the tongue), suddenly a feeling crept in me that Mr. Trump has not obtained the right type of assistance to secure a victory in the billion dollar each campaigns.

The fierce fight for Presidency, between two Multi Billionnaires is nothing new in United States. The Presidential canddidates are only proxies, for the business empires who were pumping them with Campaign Funds, with a view to collect their investments back later. We must also not forget that some Business Empires may be backing both the candidates covertly, so that they can reap a win-win sitution.

Question: Do you mean to say that American voters are fools, or will be fooled?

Ans: Voter foolishness, in a clearer perspective, is to be taken as global foolishness. We cannot have a narrow view that it is American Foolishness. The American voters, were fooled in the past, are being fooled, and will be fooled in future also. Just as in OOP (Object Oriented Programming) in Information Technology there are inheritances of objects, in the Technologies of Democracies are there are inheritances, Voter Foolishness is one among them.

Question: You seem to be biased against American Democracy?

Ans: My bias is not against American Democracy. My bias is against the monster of Capitalism. Otherwise how will you explain this situation? There are news reports that, in his last American Presidential Campaign, Mr. Barrack Obama has spent US$ 1 billion, which is not by an means a mean amount. There were jubilations that a "Blackman" was for the first time elected as American President. American Blacks were supposed to be poor. It must have been a dream for an ordinary American Black to mobilise a Billion bucks for spending in elections. Then, was Obama an extra-ordinary American Black, that American Business Empires condescended to pour in a billion greenbacks for Election Campaigns? Now, that gush and verve of electing a Black President is gone, this time there is going to be a euphoria of electing a first American Woman President. In this euphoria, reasoning will be lost.

What Reasoning?

Whether first American Black President, or the first American Woman President, or some other President, as long as they continue to be proxy and puppet Presidents in the hands of business empires, there is not going to be much change in the trials and tribulations of the American Havenots and American Unemployed/under-employed.

Question: Do you support or sympathise with Donald Trump and his misdemeanours and transgressions?

There is not much difference between Donald Trump and Ms. Hillar Clinton. Ms. Clinton looks more polished, and talks in a more refined manner. Whatever be his utterances on stage in his last talk during third Debate on TV, Mr. Trump has not only grossly mismanaged his campaigns, but also, in the process, spoiled the opportunities of his other Republican Rivals.

SOMETHING IN LIGHTER VEIN

There are news reports that the Telugu film Hero Akhil s/o Nagarjuna will be participating in Donald Trump's fund raising campaigns. Mr. Akhil may be in Cloud 9s for getting the unique opportunity, which no other Telugu Hero seems to have got. It is not clear, how much he is being paid for his appearance, but definitely it may not be FREE, even if free flight tickets both sides, free accommodation etc. are given. We shall have a 'no comment' about this.

Mr. Trump's principal hope for success appears to rest on the 'dissatisfaction' of the American White Unemployed and UnderEmpoloyed Persons whose jobs have been knocked away/ ARE BEING KNOCKED AWAY (as per their perceptions) by Chinese, Indians, Mexicans, and other coloreds. But, I believe that Trump might have failed to build a solid voter support base from this most important segment of American Democracy. It is not my intent to say that Mr. Trump is a novice or that he is naive. He ought to have taken the assistance of stalvarts in this field of proven expertise, the Emperor among whom is Mr. Kaluvakunta Chandrasekhara Rao, popularly called KCR, and KCR & Co. inclusive of his kith and kin KTR, Harish Rao, Ms. Kavita etc. He is at present the Chief Minister of Telangana State in India, which has a population of about 40 million.

People of Telangana have nursed a grievance that, emigrants from the Coastal Districts of Andhra Pradesh were knocking away their jobs. Mr. KCR who might have been a shepherd in Karimnagar (as per the comments of his enemy politicians) was encouraged by Late N.T. Rama Rao, and Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu, by making him an M.L.A., and a Minister. Subsequently, there were dissensions between KCR and Mr. Naidu, the then Chief Minister of the erstwhile United Andhra Pradesh State , presumably over the sharing of spoils of corruption and pelf.

Mr. Naidu did not, in his Cabinet, give a place to KCR. That infuriated KCR. He ignited the dormant Telangana dis-satisfaction of the people of Telangana, that Coastal Andhra Emigrants were knocking away their jobs, and stealing River Waters. In the process of running his movement, KCR specialised in his art of enflaming the hurt sentiments of Telangana People, and perfecting the art of throwing invectives and pouring profanities on the Emigrants from Coastal Andhra. Consequently, they have become aliens in their own country. KCR in his abuses and insults did not leave even the then Prime Minister of India, Mr. Manmohan Singh, whom KCR called a chaprasi. KCR's ENFLAMING CAMPAIGNS became so successful that All India Party Bosses of all Parties, wanted to satisfy his vanities. He spoke as though he wanted to create a Mini Pakisthan in INdia, by supporting the Nizam Navab. People of Telangana were not allowing the Telangana Leaders of other parties, Other State Leaders of other parties to enter Telangana. So much so, the MPs of all Parties of Telangana blocked the functioning of Indian Parliament for several days. Finally, both BJP-NDA, and the Congress-UPA surrendered to his dictums and wills. In 2014 elections, KCR's Party swept the polls and came to power. We need not say, KCR ditched both BJP and Congress.

So, what is the lesson?

Had Mr. Donald Trump invited KCR to design and address his Campaigns, KCR could have scaled new heights in throwing abuses, invectives, profanities, and created the right climate of HATRED required for capturing the votes of Unemployed and UnderEmployed of all Hues. True, that Trump was quite outspoken. But that may not be sufficient to create and garner HATE-BASED votes. After his success in American Presidential Elections 2014, KCR would have expanded his strategies to all Elections in Europe, Canada, and ANZ.

After all, what for- life is, except to lose opportunities?

Question: What will you say about the allegations of groping, philandering, and serenading attempts of Mr. Trump?

SOCIO-POLITICAL CULTURAL DIFFERENCES BETWEEN U.S. AND INDIA

Ans:- These things of expectations of personal character and family behaviors / behaviors towards women, from the aspiring Presidential candidates, may be of some special interest to the American voters. But in India nobody cares about the character or characteristics of politicians, particularly the top bosses. Sexual Relationships were never election issues in India.

The issue of extra-marital relationships of Members of Legislative Assembly, as far as I could remember, once came for discussion in the Assembly of United Andhra Pradesh State. At that time, the then Speaker of A.P. Assembly Mr. Suresh Reddy, constituted a House-Committee to study the seriousness of the problem. What happened? Nothing happened.

In India, more concubines and more paramours for a wealthy person, means more masculinity. The concubines and paramours of wealthy persons, are not looked down upon.

816 GLOBAL BOASTING/BRAGGING - INDIAN BOASTING/BRAGGING

Here is a beautiful article from IndiaTimes.Com, Sunday Times Print Edition dated 9th October 2016, special supplement. Title of the article: "WE ARE BRAGGARTS", penned by Ms. Nona Walia. Though the article, initially refers to Donald Trump's braggings, ultimately it landed on Indians. True, Self-criticism is always better than criticizing others. For the benefit of my readers, I furnish here, a link to the TOI article: Click to go to http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/life-style/relationships/love-sex/We-are-braggarts/articleshow/54714951.cms But, yet, there is a Telugu proverb which is worth quoting: "urumu urimi mangalamu mIda paDDaTlu!". Approx. English gist: As though, the thunder thundered, and fell on the stove. (In those days, in India, people sometimes, used to cook in open places. Mangalam is a sort of open kiln often used for sotting corn / jowar grains / rice to make them popped / popcorn or make roasted bengal gram lentils.) Anyway, thunders, and thunderbolts are mainly phenomena of sky. When a thunder thunders, and its bolt falls on a kiln on the earth, a sort of unexpected calamity / disaster may take place.

Here the analogy which 'ybrao-a-donkey' is trying to make is: Trump's boasts and brags, have not only thundered in American skies, but also landed on Indian Brags.

We shall see some precious quotes from this TOI article:

SEMANTICS OF BRAGGING

Braggadocious
Braggadocio is not only to brag but brag about something that’s not true
Humblebrag
The Oxford English Dictionary added the word recently and defines it as “an ostensibly modest or self-deprecating statement whose actual purpose is to draw attention to something of which one is proud”
Underbrag
The New Humblebrag who doesn’t care what anyone thinks, so he brags about his own disaster or a situation that’s not brag-worthy.
Facebrag
The art of boasting on social media and telling everyone how great you are

At the end of the article, there is a quote from a psychologist, Ms. Bhawna Monga:-

Bragging is the new feel-good factor. You brag to feel good about your life on an every day basis, because other people’s lives are staring at you from your phones and laptops, and they all look super ‘cool’ — Bhawna Monga, psychologist

ybrao-a-donkey's humble comments. वैबीराव एक गधे के विनम्र राय . వైబీరావ్ గాడిద వినమ్ర వాణి. You have every right to differ with me. I respect your right. However, pl. examine this donkey's views also.

There may also be a factor of compulsive need of release of 'dopamine' in our brains. This 'dopamine' chemistry, we shall takeup on some other day.

While it is true that Indians brag/boast profusely, we can't say that Euro-Americans, Australians, Canadians, et al, lag behind? aho! bata! ayyo!

The dividing line between 'boasting-bragging' and self-revealing/self-mirroring/self-reporting is very thin. Like 'beauty is skin-deep', the seer's/listeners perceptions of the degree/extent of other person's boast/brags may depend on 'beholder's eye'. It is a question of interpretation. There is a Telugu proverb: 'tana kampu tanaku impu. Para kampu tananu campu'. Approx. English: One's own odor/scent pleases the person. But the odors/scents of others may kill the opposite-man.

SOME GEM QUOTES OF SWAMI VIVEKANANDA

We shall see some golden gems of Swami Vivekananda, the Great Philosophical Ambassador and Nation-Lifter of India:

Swami Vivekananda wrote to Ms. Albert Sturges from his ship on Dec. 5, 1895:
"...In your country, Alberta, the Vedantic thought was introduced in the beginning by ignorant "cranks", and one has to work his way through the difficulties created by such introductions ..."

Swami Vivekananda wrote to Shri Pramada Das Mitra, on May 30, 1897 from Almora.
"... Ramanuja, Shankara etc., seem to have been mere Pundits with much narrowness of heart. Where is that love, that weeping heart at the sorrow of others? — Dry pedantry of the Pundit — and the feeling of only oneself getting to salvation hurry-scurry! ..."

Swamiji wrote to Brahmananda (Rakhal) from Reading, England, in 1895.
"...These are countries of gigantic scholars. Is it a joke to make disciples of such people? You are but children and talk like children. ...".

Here, apparent meaning: I made those gigantic scholars as my disciples. It is not a joke.

Swami Vivekananda wrote to Mr. Pramad das Mishra from Ghazipur on March 3, 1890:
"... What are you saying about difficulties there of keeping clean? Lack of water in the hills or lack of room!! Tirthas (places of pilgrimage) and Sannyasins of the Kali-Yuga — you know what they are. Spend money and the owners of temples will fling away the installed god to make room for you; so no anxiety about a resting-place! ..."

Swami Vivekananda wrote to Alasinga from Chicago, U.S.A. on 2nd Nov. 1893:--

"... I addressed the assembly as "Sisters and Brothers of America", a deafening applause of two minutes followed, and then I proceeded; and when it was finished, I sat down, almost exhausted with emotion. The next day all the papers announced that my speech was the hit of the day, and I became known to the whole of America. Truly has it been said by the great commentator Shridhara — "मूकं करोति वाचालं — Who maketh the dumb a fluent speaker." His name be praised! From that day I became a celebrity, and the day I read my paper on Hinduism, the hall was packed as it had never been before. I quote to you from one of the papers: "Ladies, ladies, ladies packing every place — filling every corner, they patiently waited and waited while the papers that separated them from Vivekananda were read", etc. You would be astonished if I sent over to you the newspaper cuttings, but you already know that I am a hater of celebrity. Suffice it to say, that whenever I went on the platform, a deafening applause would be raised for me. Nearly all the papers paid high tributes to me, and even the most bigoted had to admit that "This man with his handsome face and magnetic presence and wonderful oratory is the most prominent figure in the Parliament", etc., etc. Sufficient for you to know that never before did an Oriental make such an impression on American society. ..."

CONTEXT IN VALMIKI RAMAYANA & ENGLISH GIST: Demon Ravana abducted the wife of Shri Rama, and hid her in his Kingdom Lanka. The vAnara Chief (According to the Epic, vAnarAs are monkeys. Converting forest-dwellers into monkeys, may be an aberration), Hanuman traced her. Shri Rama, Sugriva, and their vAnara forces went on an expedition to reach Lanka, crossing the an Ocean, 100 yOjanas wide (approx. 1500 km.). Shri Rama and his forces were camping on the Sea Coast, awaiting for the Sea God to give them way. Shri Rama spent there three days spreading sacred grass (darbha grass) on the sea shore, and lying down on it, with folded hands, in due respect to the Sea God. But , the Sea God did not respond. Then, Shri Rama seems to have got annoyed by the silence of the Sea God. The above verse is one of the verses spoken by Shri Rama to his brother Lakshmana, referring to the arrogance of the Sea God.

"...The arrogant (avalEpam) Sea God is not appearing himself before me. Calmness (praSamam), forbearance (kshama), straightforwardness (Arjavam), softspokenness (priya vAditA) of gentle persons will yield ineffective and inefficient (asAmarthyam) results (phalanti).

814 (Part 3/100) of Lenin X Gandhi Comparisons, George Bernard Shaw, Future of Global Communism, and Indian Communism

George Bernard Shaw was one of the analytical expounders of Fabian Socialism (Gradualist Socialism). After the two world wars, his perspectives seem to have changed. He seems to have started supporting dictatorships. Here is an excerpt from Wikipedia.org:

"...His appetite for politics and controversy remained undiminished; by the late 1920s he had largely renounced Fabian gradualism and often wrote and spoke favourably of dictatorships of the right and left—he expressed admiration for both Mussolini and Stalin. In the final decade of his life he made fewer public statements, but continued to write prolifically until shortly before his death, aged 94, having refused all state honours, including the Order of Merit in 1946. ..."

In Blog Post No. Click to go to post No. 813 at this blog , I have given a quote from Lenin's telegram to his associates to arrange for hanging of 100 kulaks, not because I wanted to find fault with Lenin's methods of working, but because, I have some reservations about 'killing' as a 'corrective-mechanism' for ills of society. In that post, we have also made a note that Indian Maoists went on killing/maiming presumably innocent people calling them informers or traitors, and went on being killed by the Police in (1) Genuine Encounters and, (2) Fake Encounters. The Maoists and their supporters called the State Killings as 'rAjya himsa' (Violence by State), and their killing of informers 'prati himsa' (Retributive or Compensatory Violence). Analyses of the State Violence vs. Retributive Violence, we shall take up later.

What we ought to note, in a longer term perspective, is Killings and violence delay the advent of True Socialism, because a deviation of efforts takes place. Focus will shift. Misdirections take place. There will be heat and explosions. But starving and the suffering millions will not get the amelioration and relief they need and deserve, RIGHT NOW.

We shall, now, take up the captioned quote of George Bernard Shaw, which can also be seen in the above image:--

Socialism means equality of income or nothing... under socialism you would not be allowed to be poor. You would be forcibly fed, clothed, lodged, taught, and employed whether you like it or not.

If it were discovered that you had not character enough to be worth all this trouble, you might possibly be executed in a kindly manner; but whilst you were permitted to live you would have to live well.

Back to yb-donkey's views:

About "Socialism means equality of income or nothing" : -Somehow this quote omitted "equality of wealth", "equality of dignity", "equality of distribution of menial work (physical and hazardous labor)", "equality in distribution of essential goods and services", "justice in preferential order and the design of ladder of distribution (This DESIGN OF LADDER OF DISTRIBUTION AND PREFERENTIAL ORDER requires a thousand blogposts to introduce, explain, and layout pros and cons), etc. While it is true that PERFECT EQUALITY is not possible, at least EXCELLENT EQUALITY should be achievable.

About "You would be forcibly fed, clothed, lodged, taught, and employed whether you like it or not.", this is the noblest thing in socialism. No human, worth his salt, will normally on his own volition (exceptions: some Jain traditions) abstain from food, clothing, shelter, education). Our Capitalist Economies and Political Administrations also do not OVERTLY advise or force people to abstain from FLESCOH (My favorite acronym for Food, Liberty, Education, Shelter, Clothing, Old Age Security and Health Care).

We can see how Donald Trump and Ms. Hillary Clinton are making competitive promises, and allegations and counter-allegations, about these things only. Actually, these promises, and some half-hearted follow-up actions on the part of the bourgeoisie parties, have punctured the truck of True Socialism. It is because, either people have started thinking that "something is better than nothing", or because they have reached a situation that they cannot wait even a day for the fantasy of true complete socialism.

Some Telugu language proverbs are relevant here:

1) parugetti pAlu tAgE kannA nilabaDi nILLu trAgaTam mElu. English: It will be better to drink water while standing, instead of running marathons for drinking milk.

2) majjiga lEvurA magaDA anTE, peruguki cITI vrASADuTa. English: Context: A wife asked her to bring butter-milk from outside. The husband responded by writing a chit (slip containing an order) to send curd (yogurt). Here, buttermilk is the minimum survival immediate need. Curd-yogurt is a distant fantasy. People do not oppose curd. They will be delighted to relish it, but they are not prepared to wait.

3) bratikunTE balusAku tinaccu. English: If a person lives, he can survive by eating 'leaves of the balusu plant'. In drought areas of India, there were large number of days, there are some days even now, where people ate/eat leaves of the 'balusu plant' and survived/survive.

4) Upiri unTE uppu kallu ammi bratakaccu: English: If we have breath, we can survive, even by selling salt. (Selling salt = eking out livelihood by street-vending salt taking it on a cart to houses).

About "If it were discovered that you had not character enough to be worth all this trouble, you might possibly be executed in a kindly manner;" :-- 1) Who will decide that a particular person, or some particular persons do not have the required character? If he becomes adament / biased / corrupt / despotic ? There must be a fool-proof State mechanism to prevent injustices, and a efficient-genuine-honest Grievance Redressal Mechanism.

2) What is this "executed in a kindly manner" ? Executions should not either be resorted to at all, or if they are absolutely unavoidable, they should be the LAST RESORT, after zillion alternatives fail.

In my last birth, incarnation as a Bank Employee, I used to have a Bank Manager boss, who had two sons. They used to approach him smilingly, taking with them some chocolates or laDDus, fall on his feet in perfect obedience and obeisance [In Bengali novels of late Saratchandra Chaterjee (popularly called Sarat Babu), we come across a practice called 'pAda dhUli' (taking a little dust at feet and keeping on head, as a token of reverence)]. Then, they used to sit one each on his laps, and then climb up to his head, shuffle his hair with all love and affection, and then finally blurt out "Oh Father, we love you. But we shall fire you with this (toy) pistol, etc.". In real life, there will be no toy pistols. Where will, we can find this "KINDLY".

We can only find persons of the type of Shri Kind Kaluvakolanu Chandrasekhara Rao, present Chief Minister of Telangana State, who want to do some "karru kAlci vAtalu" (brand people he hated, with hot irons). Or we may find some Great Leaders like Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, who will want their opponents to be struck with footwear (ceppu tIsukoni koTTanDi in Telugu language). Or we may find persons like his rival politician Shri Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, who will call critics 'unmAdi' (lunatic). So, this idea of Executions in "Kindly manner" or "cruel manner", or whatsoever manner, have to be erased from the Concept of Socialism.

About "but whilst you were permitted to live you would have to live well." : This is the noblest part of what Shaw said, in the above quote. Reason: Today, in this Great Great Great Capitalist Economy, millions of people are living under sub-human conditions, not only have been deprived of their basic needs of FLESCOH, but also denied of their self-respect. For proof, I can give any number of real life examples of this monstracity of Capitalism.

But, one crucial question, still remains about: "whilst you were permitted to live". This question is important, because humans existed even before societies evolved. That means Human is 'primary' and Society should be 'secondary'. 'Human' is like dog's head. 'Society' is like dog's tail. Head can survive without tail. But, tail cannot survive without head. I believe that society does not / cannot have an authority to determine whether a person SHOULD BE / SHOULD NOT BE PERMITTED TO LIVE. (NOTE: Capital Punishments through Courts of Law, for ghastly proven rarest-of-the-rarest offences, are exceptions. They are neither norms or parameters or standards in day-to-day functioning of the society.)

Here, it is worthwhile to quote a verse of Telugu poet Late SriSri, from his collection 'mahA prasthAnam' (Great destiny/destination).

మనది ఒక బ్రతుకేనా (Is our life, a life?!!! )
కుక్కల వలె నక్కలవలె (Like dogs, like foxes)
మనదీ ఒక బ్రతుకేనా (Is our life, a life?)
సందులలో పందులవలె (Like the pigs in dirty lanes)

It is this sort of life which True Complete Socialism does not want people to lead /live. However, "should live well" cannot mean "live with all comforts and luxuries". Here "live well" refers to "intrinsic worth of life", and not to "extrinsic worth of life".

Though from the Wikipedia quote given above, we find that Shaw seems to have in his later years "... often wrote and spoke favourably of dictatorships of the right and left—he expressed admiration for both Mussolini and Stalin. ...", we do not know the circumstances and situations which had led Late George Bernard Shaw to shift his stance. I do not contribute to the idea of "Shaw had become an opportunist".

795 If Mr. Bernie Sanders were a TRUE SOCIALIST he ought not to have joined Democratic Party!

Last time we wrote about Mr. Nick Cohen in our blog was on 24th May 2015, in our blog post No. 510. Click here to have a look at post No. 510 at this blog . At that time, we were discussing about the Indian oligarchs eager to buy posh and prime properties in London. This time, here is a need to compare American Socialist Bernie Sanders, British Labor Leader Jeremy Corbyn, and the European past of Communism of the days of Stalin and Trotsky. Mr. Cohen did it quite effectively and impressively in his article titled "LEFT HAS A HISTORY OF FOOLISHNESS" in Spectator, dated 30th July 2016. I have given below the link to this Spectator's article, for our readers to study. I am not going to rediscover or reinvent what Mr. Cohen has done so convincingly and penetratingly.

Being the largest democracy in the world, howsoever badly the so-called democracy survives in India, being one of the citizens of the poorest country in this world (this truth most Indians do not admit), I am tempted to fantasize about the future of Left in India, and explain how relevant one quote of Mr. Cohen in his article is, for our experience with the Left Parties in India. Conversely, if Indian Left Parties can rebuild themselves and succeed, that success will definitely serve as a model to the Euro, British, American, and probably even for Chinese People, not to write of the African Peoples, and the South American Peoples. (Peoples, as plural= in the meaning of Nations).

Click here to study Mr. Nick Cohen's Article at Spectator.

First we shall take up the quote given in the above image:--

"...Unfortunately, his real world was not the world his supporters lived in. They had believed Sanders when he said Clinton was a Wall Street puppet and were not going to stop believing him just because the danger of a mentally unstable and instinctively authoritarian President Trump entering the White House had forced Sanders to sober up. Clinton’s name produced boos. Trump’s brought shrugs. For them, there remained no difference between the two, and it did not matter who won. ..."

For the benefit of my Telugu readers, I provide an approx. Telugu translation of the above quote: "... ..."

ybrao-a-donkey's humble comments. वैबीराव एक गधे के विनम्र राय . వైబీరావ్ గాడిద వినమ్ర వాణి. You have every right to differ with me. Mr. Bernie Sanders, if he were a true socialist, he ought not to have joined the Democratic Party in United States, which is a bourgeoisie Party.

I am tempted to use a cliche like simile here: A cuckoo cannot sing like a cuckoo, when it is in the party of crows. Initially, crows may allow the cuckoo for a little time to melody like a cuckoo, but eventually the cuckoo will be forced to caw like a crow.

In management science lingo, this can probably called SOCIALISATION. If a newly admitted an employee / Manager in an organisation refuses to get SOCIALISED and undergo the METAMORPHOSIS, there will be EXTERMINATION and OSTRACIZATION.

Now, let us see the predicament of Mr. Sanders. He gave repeated messages to his supporters that Ms. Clinton is a puppet of Wall Street. By and large, it is true also. At the same time, Mr. Sanders ought to have kept in mind that Mr. Trump is also a puppet of the same Wall Street.

Is Mr. Trump a larger puppet, and Ms. Clinton a smaller puppet?

Are there any differences in magnitude and direction between the two? Answer for this can be : Appearances can, sometimes, be deceptive. Ms. Clinton may appear as polished and refined. Mr. Trump may appear as roguish and rubbish. But is there real difference between them? Is that difference so large, so wide, so deep, that Mr. Sanders has to give a call to his supporters to support Ms. Clinton, knowing pretty well that she is a puppet of Wall Street? This shift also gives us another grammatical example of degrees of comparison: Mr. Sanders is a big puppet, Ms. Clinton is a bigger pupper, and Mr. Trump is the biggest puppet!

COMPARISON OF ABOVE SANDERS BEHAVIOR , WITH THE INDIAN LEFTIST BEHAVIORS

The main Communist parties in India are 1. CPI (Communist Parties of India). 2. CPIM (Communist Party of India-Marxist), also called CPM. Both these parties are facing identify crises, notwithstanding their win in 2016 Kerala Assembly Elections, (Kerala=Southwest State of India on the coast of Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean).

Just as Sanders was compelled by his Democratic Party peers (or probably on his own volition) to ask his supporters to TRANSFER their support to Ms. Clinton, with an ostensible objective of preventing Trump entering the White House, Indian Communist Parties have an ostensible objective of preventing Communal Forces (in their view BJP Party)from capturing power in India.

Left parties in India, particularly CPM maintained that it wanted to stay at an equi-distance both from Congress and BJP. That stand was logically correct, because BJP has earned a bad name for enflaming majority communalism, whereas Congress Party tacitly pampered minority communalism. Indian Left Parties if they are truly committed to complete socialism, cannot enter into electoral alliances with bourgeoisie parties. In 2016 Bengal Elections, CPM tried to gather some votes by entering to electoral adjustments with Congress. While Congress benefited from it, CPM paid the price for it.

WHAT IS THE LESSON FROM ALL THIS WHETHER IN INDIA, UK OR USA?

Supporters and Voters are not puppets. Leftist Parties and Truly Socialist Parties have to realise this. The difference between the supporters of bourgeoisie parties and the socialist parties is: Supporters of Socialism become socialists because they have analytical abilities, because they have strong convictions, because they have had in their lives bitter experiences inflicted by Capitalism. Their shift in favour of True Socialism becomes rather indelible and nearly unalterable . Hence, they are not TRANSFERABLE like cheques and drafts, by endorsement and delivery.

WHAT MAY BE THE RIGHT OPTION FOR MR. SANDERS, AND THE TRUE SOCIALISTS IN US?

They have to start a NEW SOCIALIST PARTY in United States, build a truly socialist movement, and get ready for 2020. This is going to be difficult. But where is the choice? Mr. Sanders, or True Socialists, cannot hijack Democratic Party or Republican Party!

WHAT OPTIONS WE CAN THINK OF FOR SUPPORTERS OF TRUE SOCIALISM IN BRITISH LABOR PARTY?

In my mother tongue Telugu language there is a word 'nEti bIrakAya'. It refers to the vegetable a gourd, akin to rugged gourd (Telugu bIra kAya) family. nEti bIrakAya refers to a gourd with CLARIFIED BUTTER. Though nEti bIra kAya is a rare and tasty vegetable, gullible persons may believe that it also contains CLARIFIED BUTTER. British Labor Party, does not contain LABOR. Chinese Communist Party does not contain COMMUNISM.

In this world, especially the Capitalist World, the hard and harsh reality is PACKING CONCEALS THE TRUE NATURE. Actual goods do not conform to their Label. Whereever samples are used, merchandise actually delivered do not conform to samples. Everywhere, only tokenism prevails. In other words, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING. True supporters of Working Class in U.K. may have to start a new Labor Party, with some other name, and start afresh.

787 Will things worsen in United States if Mr. Donald Trump gets elected? It appears so.

Here is an alternet.org news report which says that United States Justice Department is going to investigate into the brutal killing of Alton Sterling, a 37 year old black person in Baton Rouge, Lousiana. What will happen after that? Nothing will happen. Click here to go to alternet.org.
News:Brutal police killing of Alton Sterling, a 37-year-old black man in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, clearly proves that all is not well with the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, which acts like the World's Police Boss. Views: There may not be much difference between the mode of working of Mr. Barack Obama and Ms. Hillary Clinton. Today, situation in U.S.A., may not be 100% hopeless. But, if Mr. Donald Trump gets elected?

Mr. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, is touring African countries, which have been neglected by previous Indian Prime Ministers (exception: South Africa).
News: Mr. Narendra Modi's entourage has signed many agreements with the Governments of the countries of their visit. Views: Mr. Narendra Modi, ought to have taken with him some experts in "COUNTER TRADE" (a sort of barter of goods between countries). While India like Dhananjaya (one of the 10 names of the Mahabharata hero Arjuna) is sitting on its foreign exchange reserves mobilised by throwing away its Corporates to lie down at the mercy of foreign institutional investors (FIIs), and exposing the India's "land" , "mining" resources and "MARKETS" to MNCs, the African countries (exception: South Africa) do not have hard currency funds to buy INdian goods. India should try to equlise its visible exports, visbale imports and streamline its balance of trade, with every country, separately, so that the overall balance of India's trade deficit gets automatically reduced.

Mr. Nara Chandra Babu Naidu is the Chief Minister of Residual Andhra Pradesh. It is not clear whether Mr. Narendra Modi has imbued his habit of residing on aircraft while touring the world, rather than staying in India and solve domestic problems, - from Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu. Or Mr. Naidu has learnt the technique from Mr. Narendra Modi and is imitating him. If we have to remember Indian Mythological Celestial characters who are globe-trotters, Sage Narada and Tumbura will come to our mind. Mr. Naidu was CM of United Andhra Pradesh, and Mr. Modi was CM of Gujarat, concurrently between 2002 and 2004. When Mr. Modi was nobody in Indian Administrative Structure, Mr. Naidu had already become the Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh, by promoting rebellion agains his own father-in-law Late N.T. Rama Rao, who gave him shelter, and daughter. Bite the hand which feeds, model. Though Mr. Modi has not openly insulted his mentors Mr. Vajpayee, Mr. L.K. Advani, and Mr. Murali Manohar Joshi, he has made them "no-bodies".

News: Mr. Naidu has visited Kazakisthan a few days back. Views: Wherever he goes, he will praise the Capital of their country. He will also beg them to build a Capital City for Residual Andhra Pradesh, at Amaravathi. Will they come or not? Can we compare them to the Telugu word "pEranTAlu" , a term used to virtuous ladies and women invited by Indian Housewives performing some domestic religious vows called "vratams", or birthdays of children, or first menstrual celebration ceremony of daughters, etc. The success of pEranTams, and the reception she gets at the invitee's door-steps, may depend on the weight of the gold jewellery worn by the inviting housewife on her body, while visiting the neighbors' houses.
