This month only, the People of the United Kingdom have given their throne to their Tory Leader Ms. Theresa May, albeit with a reduced majority, below her expectations, and gave a lift up to Mr. Jeremy Corbyn and the Whigs. Maoists/Naxals ambushed nearly 100 CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) guarding a newly laid road in Sukma District, Chattisgadh State (Central India), and killed about 26 of them. Terming it as a “cowardly and deplorable” act, Modi tweeted, “Attack on @crpfindia personnel in Chhattisgarh is cowardly & deplorable. We are monitoring the situation closely.”

Adding further that “sacrifices” of the martyrs will not go in vain, he said, “we are proud of the valour of our @crpfindia personnel. The sacrifice of the martyrs will not go in vain. Condolences to their families”.

This is a great opportunity to our Great Leader to demonstrate his extra-ordinary problem-solving abilities. Tackling Maoist-Naxal violence in Central-East India is one important task in which his predecessors failed miserably. We live in a World of Hope. Let us hope that Shri Narendra Modi will use his Superman-like abilities in finding a lasting solution to this vexative problem.

Sympathizers of Maoism-Naxalism say that the killings made by the Naxals represent a response/reaction to the Rajya Himsa (Violence by State -against citizens). In their view it appears as 'prati-himsa' (Violence in Return to the State's Violence). What they say does not appear to be fully correct, though there may be some minor elements of truth. The Central Government has to seriously investigate into the problems of the Poorest in the Naxal Infested Areas. For example in the above incident of Sukma where 25 CRPF jawans were killed, about 300 villagers- many of them women, attacked the Police Personnel. Ordinarily nothing moves in India, without paying money. CRPF personnel move, apart from their patriotism-nationalism, get their wages from the Government. It is their occupation of their livelihood. Working for bellies is true in respect of any Working Class, as compared to any bourgeoisie class. In case of the group of villagers-rural women which attacked the CRPF Personnel, who is paying them?

The Governments should go to the source/origin of funds/weapons which are reaching the Naxals and finally the villagers. Funds and Arms may be reaching them, not only from Chattisgadh Forest Contractors, Industrialists, but also from countries such as China, Pakisthan which may be interested in destabilising India. Even supposedly-intellectuals such as Retired Government Officers, who get sizable Government Pension may be financing them secretly. What the supposedly-intellectuals fail to understand is 'Violence breeds Greater Violence'. The main drawbacks of choosing violence, howsoever noble their purpose may be, 1. Even if any Revolution materialises and succeeds, ultimate power is knocked away by some unscrupulous crook. It happened in Russia. It happened in North Korea. It happened in China. Mao ze Dong himself seemed to have turned out to be a big bourgeoisie, instead of acting as a true Communist. Our Maoists/Naxals should go to China to learn how their Demy God Mao himself let down his own billion people.

The emergence of the Centrist Candidate Emmanuel Macron as the likely winner to the throne of the Elysee Palace is not strange, though the trends now-a-days in Europe and U.S.A. seem to support 'extreme Rightism', mixed with some spicy asafoetoda. Traditionally Centrism has been a golden middle path, the path of the Gautama Buddha. Centrism may sometimes end up as nobody's baby.

Anyway, the outgoing President of France , Mr. Hollande, is supposed to be a Leftist and Socialist. But his policies and practices proved themselves to be rightist, though sometimes may not be overt enough. How did the Working Class of France benefit from the policies of the OUTGOING President? How did he deal with Greece, when it had a debt and currency crisis? If true Leftism is practised across the world with some semblance of sincerity and transparency, the Unity of the Proletariat of the World might have become a reality.

There is no need to look at with awe or disdain to Ms. Marine Le Pen. Reasons: There will not be much difference to People of France or to the Developed World, notwithstanding whether Mr. Emmanuel Macron is elected or Ms. Marine Le Pen is elected. However, for the people of North Africa, Syria, Turkey and some other under-developed / developing countries with emigrants and refugees, there may be some hardships if Ms. Le Pen is elected.
