969 Musings on EVMs, AAm Admi Party, etc.

A learned friend of mine has emailed me extremely timely and useful links to appreciate and understand the technical aspects of the tamperability of EVMs used by India- the World's Largest Democracy, nearly since the advent of the 21st Century in its Elections. Here are two important links to the live topic of TAMPERABILTY OF ELECTRONIC VOTING MACHINES USED IN INDIA as against the claim of the Election Commission of INdia, that Electronic Voting Machines used in India ARE ABSOLUTELY TAMPER-PROOF. yb-a-donkey's view: Audi alterim partem (Hear the other Party) seems to be missing at the Election Commission. The views of Shri Arvind Jha, an alumni of IIT Kharagpur, and Shri Hari K Prasad, deserve to be heard, and examined by a Committee of Technical Experts.

Random / important Quotes for Review, from Related Links

“ECI doing the mistake once gain, challenging techies is like falling into their own trap.”

"...ECI shud first invite for an open security audit in EVMs to list out all vulnerable touch points for criminals and secure wrap one by one."

Though not keen to take up the EC challenge this time, Prasad continues to maintain that EVMs are vulnerable to hacking. "...EVMs without VVPAT [voter verified paper audit trail] are vulnerable"

"...No electronic machine is secure without a tangible receipt that can be verified. Electronics can always be manipulated. It’s just a matter of understanding the technology. ..."

y6b-a-donkey's views not intended to be imposed on others

There is/can be no link between the VVPAT [voter verified paper audit trail], and the vulnerability of EVMs after election, and before counting. Receipt will be useful for production as evidence in courts. But Receipts cannot prevent tampering of EVMs during their storage waiting counting. Machines may be sealed. Strong Rooms may be sealed. Yet, we cannot rule out the possibility of tampering using remote devices such as WIFI with / without the help of Officials controlling Paswords. Production of the Printed Receipt in Court will only prove the fact only for that particular vote, and that particular voter. Physical comparison of the printed receipts with the counted data file used in EVM, is physically difficult. One solution may be, that backup(s) of data in each EVM is taken and preserved separately for comparison in case of disputes.

Come what may, I am not in favor of going back to PAPER BALLOT SYSTEM, which is frought with numerous difficulties and risks when compared to EVMs. Our next step should be to go to Mobile/Laptop based Voting Systems, whereby voters can vote from their own places of work / residences at their convenient time. Of course, we have to do lots of homework and preparations to make the Internet based Mobile based Voting Systems more fool-proof, tamper-proof.

SELF GOALS OF MR. ARVIND KEJRIWAL

Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, AAP Chief, and the Chief Minister of Delhi seems to be passing through a poor form (common to cricketers and politicians, both of whom entertain and indulge in superstitions and consult astrologers and GodPersons), and through rough patches owing to his own self-goals.

We shall start with his frequent blaming of EVM Tampering, whenever AAP faces an Election mishap. In Feb. 2015 Elections to Delhi Assembly, his party won 67 seats out of 70. BJP was in power at that time, and it was on a winning spree right from the 2014 May General Elections. Top Leaders of BJP might have received the greatest shock of their lives, when then saw the Delhi Assembly Election Results. Prior to 2015 Delhi Assembly Elections Mr. Kejriwal conducted a rally on his apprehensions of EVM tampering. When the Election Results came in his favor, Mr. Kejriwal forgot about his own complaints of possible EVM tampering, and happily ascended his throne, like the mythological Nahusha who was heralded to become the King of Heaven 'Indra', when the incumbent Indra was cursed by Sage Durvasa. Then the arrogance of power seems to have got injected into his brain by his sycophant followers, and he alienated himself from his AAP Founding colleagues Yogendra Yadav and Prashanti Bhushan.

Actually, before anointing himself as the Chief Minister of Delhi in 2015, Mr. Kejriwal should have raised his suspicions about the most unnaturally favourable Election Result, and he ought to have voiced reiterating his doubts about the tampering of EVMs, and called for going back to paper ballots. It was a simple question of common sense. In 2014 May General Elections for Parliament, voters of Delhi gave all the seats to BJP and rejected AAP. In Feb. 2015 they lifted AAP from ashes. It should have woken up the conscience of Mr. Kejriwal, and made him to ask

"Why this sudden change of mind?"
"I have not done anything great in these seven months to deserve these Floral Showers?"
"Who tampered the EVMs through some Remote Devices?"
"Did my own techno-savvy supporters without my knowledge tamper the machines to uplift me to the Delhi throne?"
"Or did the techno-savvy supporters of BJP tamper the EVMs, to create a false belief in the minds of everybody that BJP's losing elections is a proof of in-tamper-ability of the EVMs?"
"Or did the leaders of the BJP arranged, AS A ONE TIME STRATEGY--for the tampering of EVMs to facilitate victory of AAP in 2015, to convince people that EVMs are not tamperable, so that in subsequent elections EVMs can be freely tampered whimsically, as people WILL HEREAFTER STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT EVMS are TAMPER-PROOF?"

Why does Mr. Arvind Kejriwal want to shut the mouth of Kumar Biswar from airing out his grievances? After all, people should have a sort of vent or a gasket release lever or a safety volve to flush out their inbuilt steams of frustrations and disappointments.

“I have said this multiple times to Arvind (Kejriwal) and Manish (Sisodia) and say it once again that in my life I don’t want to be the chief minister, deputy chief minister, party chief or join any other political party. I did not come here for this,” Vishwas said, while addressing press reporters in Delhi.

“I will take a decision in a day and will continue to speak up. Khan is only a mask speaking for someone else.”

ybdonkey's views:Mr. Kumar Biswas seems to have made up his mind long back to leave AAP, and (probably) join BJP. He seems to be searching for pretexts to leave. There is very little that can be done at this too late a stage. A stitch in time should have saved nine later. It is high time that Mr. Arvind Kejriwal think of retrieving his Party's INNER DEMOCRACY. Else, AAP itself may become defunct.

It will be better if Mr. Kejriwal resigns as the Chief Minister of Delhi, and allow his party to elect a new Chief Minister through democratic secret ballot methods, whoever the AAP Delhi Assembly Legislature Party may choose to elect. He should concentrate on the promotion of the Party at All India Level. Probably, he can think of re-friend-ing with Messrs. Yogendra Yadav and Prashanti Bhushan.

943 Mr. Ram Jeth Malani, Senior Supreme Court Lawyer's offering to Arvind Kejriwal, to argue freely in his defence against Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, is intriguing.

Reports indicate that Mr. Ram Jeth Malani, Senior Supreme Court Advocate, Former BJP Top Leader, Former Law Minister, has initially sent a bill of about Rs. 38 million as fees, and expenses to Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi Chief Minister. It appears that Mr. Kejriwal wanted to pay the bill from the Exchequer of the Delhi Government. There are reports which indicate that Mr. Sisodia, Delhi Dy. Chief Minister wanted the Delhi Govt. Officials to clear the bill, without sending it to the Delhi Lieutenant Governor. But, that was not so easy. Hence, according to Media Reports, Mr. Ram Jeth Malani has come forward to argue the defence of Mr. Kejriwal, FREELY treating him as a poor client. Here is a link to the report: Click here to go to http://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/arvind-kejriwal-ram-jethmalani-legal-fee-arun-jaitley-case/1/919953.html.

Link to DeccanChronicle.Com, which has some additional quotes attributed to Shri Ram Jeth Malani: Click here to go to http://www.deccanchronicle.com/nation/current-affairs/050417/will-defend-arvind-kejriwal-for-free-says-ram-jethmalani.html.

"...I shall defend Arvind Kejriwal in the defamation case slapped on him by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley without taking any fee if the Delhi Chief Minister cannot afford to pay him."

"...The row over the Delhi government’s move to clear my bills for fighting the case has been “instigated” by the Union finance minister".

"...it is the government’s duty to defend the Chief Minister. ...I will certainly defend him even if he can’t pay, but he said ‘no, I want to pay, send us the bills’, so I have sent the bills. Even if the government does not support him, I will. ... If necessary, I will support him for his livelihood because he is a clean force compared to Arun Jaitley, ...”

"...The bills totalled around 3.4 crore. ...If he is unable to pay I will do it for free. I render free services to 90 per cent of my clients ..."

ybrao-a-donkey's views not intended to be imposed on others:

There will be nothing wrong for a State/UT Government to defend in Courts, the actions / communications of its functionaries / officials, as long as their communications are made in their official capacities, following proper procedures, at proper fora.

If the 'defaming' comment is made by Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, in his capacity as Chief Minister of Delhi, then, it will be reasonable for him, and Mr. Ram Jethmalani to expect that its DEFENCE BILL is to be paid by the Government of Delhi. How to distinguish official comments from private personal comments?

Solution 1:

Reproduce all comments / allegations made by the Chief Minister of a State, in writing. Writings are to be made on Official Letterheads. After the affixing signature of CM, it is better to add his Office Seal. Before and above the signature of the Chief Minister, it will be better to add "For and on behalf of the Government of Delhi". In case of digital / email / electronic communications, wherever possible digital signatures and encryptions can be added. In case of oral comments / observations, an Official Videographer who should be an employee of the Delhi Government, can be employed to produce duly recorded videos, and its copies.

Approvals for Expenses

While the Chief Minister or his Dy. Chief Minister cannot be sole judges to decide on whether to bear the expenses on behalf of the State, I believe that everything cannot be centralised into the hands of the Governors / Lieutenant Governors who now-a-days act as Clerks of the Central Government.

In India, even State Cabinets tend to be slaves of Chief Ministers, and Central Cabinets tend to be the slaves of the Prime Ministers, and hence the question of defending CMs/PMs at State Expenses cannot be left to the Cabinets.

Better to obtain approvals from Legislatures

Though not a perfect solution, it will be better, if the decisions are taken by State Assemblies, and in case of Prime Ministers- by the Parliaments. For the purpose Approval Resolutions can be proposed in the Lower House, the reasons and the circumstances which have led to the legal cases can be discussed, and approval to defend the cases at the expense of State Exchequer can be given. This is on the assumption that our Legislatures will be filled with members who can view problems objectively, independent of party affiliations.

These proposals for sanction of funds to bear expenses to defend cases against Government functionaries (both politicians and bureaucrats), should as far as possible be present before the Legislatures for prior prior approval, giving approximate estimates of likely expenditure, name of the advocates proposed, break up of their fees for various purposes, other expenses etc. Only in exceptional emergencies, post facto confirmations /ratifications can be obtained from Legislatures.

CLAIM OF SHRI RAM JETHMALANI THAT 90% OF HIS CASES ARE FREE CASES ON BEHALF OF POOR

I am unable to believe it. But he is a NONAGENARIAN. Difficult to doubt him. However, I believe, as citizens, we expect him to disclose the names of the poor persons/institutions he argued FREE, with some details such as nature of dispute, year, court, success/failure etc. He can place these details on his web page / social media page. There is nothing wrong in cross-subsidisation per se (Charging the Rich, and serving the poor). Even doctors and Hospitals can do it, but they do not seem to undertake such useless things (useless things in their opinion), except in the Returns they submit to the Government, if at all they submit, when required by law.

Wherever / Whenever possible, State Assemblies can pass Resolutions ratifying the statements made by Chief Ministers.

WHY DO MANY STATE GOVERNMENTS BELIEVE THAT THEY CAN DEFEND SUCCESSFULLY/WIN CASES ONLY WHEN THEY APPOINT A HIGH PROFILE LAWYER?

Governments are supposed to be RATIONAL ORGANISATIONS. They cannot afford to be irrational, and citizens/voters will have to dump irrational Governments, when they get opportunity to vote.

Usually film producers, distributors entertain irrational beliefs that their films will rake heaps of moolah only when they make films with Mega Heroes such as Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan. Rajani Kanth. But Governments should not have such fallacious beliefs that they will win cases only when they employ high profile lawyers. The success of a film depends largely on its storyline, and to some extent on the treatment given to it, i.e. the manner in which it is presented to the audience. The same is the case with recipes, beverages such as coffee, tea, where tastes and flavours emerge from the quality and quantity of the ingredients used. In case of suits, their successes or failures depend on basically on 'justice is on which side'. The manner in which the Counsel presents the case may initially impress judges, but ultimately the ratio decidendi will depend on the strength of the CAUSE OF JUSTICE. Of course, evidences and arguments have their value, in affecting the judgement, but they cannot make UNJUSTIFIABLE CAUSES, JUSTIFIABLE.

Then, what is expected of/from a Counsel? What is expected from Judges?

Counsel should not be negligent or lethargic. He-she must be alert. And of course, the Judges have to give sufficient opportunities to the Counsels.

The general impression among many lawyers all over India is that :
*High profile lawyers get encouragement from Judges, while starters are treated like a Cinderella in her mother's house.
*High Profile lawyers can get their cases heard early,
*High Profile lawyers can get easy adjournments when needed.
*High profile lawyers can confuse or pressurise judges.
Etc. Etc.

COURTS HAVE TO DISPEL THE ERRONEOUS BELIEFS OF STARTER ADVOCATES

And these beliefs, may they be only misconceptions, lead to HUGE DEMAND FOR HIGH PROFILE LAWYERS, LEADING TO MILLIONS OF BUCKS THROWN AWAY BY CLIENTS AS THEIR FEES, while poor lawyers starve. It is high time that Supreme Courts and High Courts take adequate steps for dispelling this type of apprehensions among lawyers and clients. After all, Lawyers are intended only to assist the Judges in arriving at truth, and they are employees of the Court. Though fees is paid by clients, lawyers are not supposed to be the SERVANTS AND SLAVES OF THE CLIENTS.

State and Central Governments should not fall into the above type of pits, of appointing lawyers only by their name, and demand.

COURTS SHOULD APPOINT LAWYERS FOR BOTH THE PARTIES

When clients are given freedom to chose their own lawyers, rich clients chose high profile lawyers paying millions as fees. Poor clients are left with residues. The impression that High Profile Lawyers are geniuses capable of winning cases, and that low profile lawyers are duds make no sense. Heroes charge millions for acting in films, and their films bomb at box office. There are several simple straight cases argued by HIGH PROFILE LAWYERS which have failed in getting even simple remedies. This is because Lawyers do their duty. Judges do their duty. Hence, clients have to shed their foolish beliefs. Can we expect that Supreme Court/High Courts will create an environment which melts away the mists and smogs before the clients' eyes? Or will they call us to court and convict us for Contempt of Court?

781 We should appreciate the courage of Ms. Jagmati Sanwar in resisting CPM Central Committee

This is in continuation of our blogpost No. 758 dated 21st May 2016, wherein we have discussed some of the problems ailing the CPIM (Communist Party of India, Marxist). The title of the blogpost is: 758 CPIM is continuing the same disastrous and undemocratic practices of Congress and BJP ! Lacks internal democracy. For those who wish to study this blogpost: Click to go to 758 . Now, at least one courageous person in the CPIM Central Committee, Ms. Jagmati Sanwar, General Secretary of AIDWA has come out openly against the manner in which the CPIM Central Committee was violating its own Party-line of not having any truck with Congress, by forging alliances with Congress, in West Bengal. The debacle of CPM in the 2016 Bengal Assembly Elections, has sufficiently proved that unhealthy alliances with borgeoisie parties in the name of preventing /displacing some other bourgeoisie party do not pay. It appears that the Central Committee Members from Bengal have opposed the use of the word "violating" party-line in the Resolution of postmortem of losing the Elections in Bengal, and threatened to resign.

Here is a newsreport dated the 25th June 2016 from ndtv.com, which summarises what seems to have happened in CPIM Central Committee Meeting, and the circumstances which seem to have led to resignation of Ms. Jagmati from the Central Committee (according to her: resignation) and expulsion of Ms. Jagmati from the Central Committee (according to Party: expulsion for gross indiscipline).

Here is an Indian Express Report which informs what seems to have happened at the said Central Committee Meeting. Click to look at IndianExpress

Considering my resignation was in my opinion a step to strengthen the party, there is no question now of trying to weaken the party or any mass organisation. My decision was an entirely political decision and to interpret it as some kind of personal rivalry is absolutely wrong

This meeting started on June 18. And on the 18th the note presented by the politburo… it had this term that it was a violation of the political tactical line by the Bengal committee. And a huge majority said it was a violation... ... But today, when it concluded on the basis of the discussion… they said we will be deleting this violation word because Bengal secretary Surjya Kanta Misra and senior leaders like Bimanda [Bose] said we (they) will resign if you (cpm) keep this term. Even the general secretary [Sitaram Yechury] was against it. I said no, it is not acceptable, at least to me. I said I resign from the central committee and party membership and I walked out,

Ms. Jagmati Sangwan has taken a courageous decision.

She need not worry about weakening Communist or Socialist Movements in India.

She can try to promote a new Communist / Socialist / Democratic Socialist Party in India, which should include not only women, but also men.

Just as there are large number of bourgeoisie political parties in India, we can have large number of Communist / Socialist / Democratic Socialist Parties. I do not support the idea of unification of Communist Parties or having only one or two Communist Parties. Such step will only lead to monopolies and oligopolies in socialist arena.

In fact, totalitarianism is the bane of Communism, worldwide. At least in India, let us make a beginning of working against and dispelling the general impression of Communism / Socialism / Marxism involves dictatorships and totalitarianism.

CPIM seems to be suffering from loss of geographical spread. It sems to be excessively depending on its West Bengal and Kerala Units. For the time being it may be strong in West Bengal and Kerala. But CPIM Central Leadership should not forget that theirs is an All India Party, with defined set of principles. Opportunism and Regionalism cannot have places and prominence in the principles and party-lines. At any cost, inner party democracy cannot be sacrificed, in the name of gross indiscipline. One tool for deriving benefits from inner party democracy is through use of secret ballots at every level, where everything will be put to test through secret ballots, with a clear understanding that loss of something in ballot is not an end in itself, and after sometime, another attempt can be made.

PROBLEMS OF RELIANCE ON ONE OR TWO STATES

Mr. Jayaprakash Narayan, a Retd. I.A.S. Officer had started a Party by name Lok Satta. As JPN is from erstwhile United Andhra Pradesh, it had a good base in defunct United A.P.

Later, he wanted to convert Lok Satta into an All India Party, with Office at Delhi. Mr. JPN seems to have had some dreams of developing his party on the lines of A.A.P.

A.A.P (Aam Admi Party) too have dreams of emerging as an All India Party. But its base is only in Delhi and Punjab.

Already there are divisions and splits in A.A.P., culminating in expulsion of Yogendra Yadav, Prashanti Bhushan et al. Now, AAP (Kejriwal) is still continuing with its dreams. If Mr. Kejriwal inserts more South Indian leaders into AAP Central Committee, there is always a danger of revolt from Delhi and Punjab leaders, whose sweat the successes of AAP in Delhi and Punjab, which Mr. Kejriwal enjoys.

Back to Lok Satta, one gets an impression that Shri JPN wanted to give a greater role to his Delhi Associates, which seems to have been resisted by the A.P. Lok Satta Leaders. It appears that Mr. JPN wanted to have his say as founder of the party. Somehow, things did not workout, and the party seems to have been shelved or inactive.

ONE SOLUTION

It will be better if parties in India are organised NOT ON THE BASIS OF GEOGRAPHICAL UNITS, but ON THE BASIS OF DIFFERENT CLASSES OF PROLETARIAT such as farm workers, fishermen, rural artisans, metal workers, shop clerks, street vendors, construction workers, etc. etc. The different classes can be made of equal representation, size, by expert studies of various occupations and profession in India.

At grassroot level, units need not be organised in the traditional mode of village units, ward level units, or polling booth level units. Parties can take every group of 10 members of the same occupation/profession as one grassroot unit, and its leader can be called "daSamukh". A leader of ten such groups can be called "Satamukh". Ten Satamukhs can make a Sahasramukh. Thus leaderships and structures have to rise from bottom to the top, through a system of secret ballots.

NOT EASY TO START AND RUN NEW POLITICAL PARTIES IN INDIA
It is not easy to start and run new political parties in India, both bourgeoisie and Socialist. While the bourgeoisie parties may do anything they like because they need not worry about ethics, Socialist Parties have to explore ways and means of organising parties without COSTS. CPIM has recently organised a motorcycle rally in Vijayawada. Who will pay the cost of petrol? Party workers participating in such rallies will lose one day wages, they have to bear the cost of petrol, they have to neglect their families. For its Meeting at Vijayawada, CPIM might have collected funds from somebody or other without verifying their source of income. For example, there is an allegation against CPI that it collected donations from Liquor Contractors in Khammam District for organising its Meeting there.

Workers and Proletarian Parties have greater ethical responsibilities when compared to Mainline parties.

743 Better late than Never. It is good that Gujarat University Vice Chancellor clarified about PM's M.A. Degree.

This is in continuation of blogpost No.569 (Click to go to 569). English language has a proverb: "Better late than never!". We should be grateful to the Information Commissioner Mr. M. Sridharacharyulu, and the Gujarat University Vice Chancellor Mr. M.N. Patel, for bringing to a near-close, the issue of allegations about the fact of our beloved Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, obtaining a PG Degree of M.A. Politics. Here is an ND TV News Report (Click to go to ND TV.com to see the news.) which indicates that Shri Modi completed his M.A. Politics Degree in 1983, scoring 62.3%.

Delhi CM wanted details of PM Modi's education to be made public PM Modi, in 2014 polls, declared he had a BA and a Master's degree Haven't been asked to share details: Gujarat University Vice Chancellor.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi completed his post-graduation in Political Science from the Gujarat University with a 62.3% score, Vice Chancellor MN Patel has said amid a row over Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal accusing the Central Information Commission of covering up the PM's educational qualifications. Earlier this week, Mr Kejriwal had demanded that this information be made public by the CIC.

The Vice Chancellor has however told NDTV that the university hasn't been approached by anyone seeking this information yet. He also added that the university had earlier turned down the request since rules allowed only individual candidates to seek details of their marks. "For instance X cannot seek details of Y and that is why we had turned down the RTI request. Now that the CIC has issued an order, we will provide details if asked to," he said.

As the matter has been cleared by a Competent Authority, we can treat the matter as closed, for the time being. Let us hope that Mr. Arvind Kajriwal also will treat the matter as closed, unless he has some other evidence to doubt the disclosure made by the Vice Chancellor, Gujarat University.

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER, EARLIER DISCLOSURE WOULD HAVE BEEN FAR BETTER

This controversy arose in and around in Aug. 2015. Had this information been furnished by the Gujarat University in Aug 2015 itself or at some other early date, without waiting for instruction of Mr. Sridharacharyulu (Information Commissioner), lot of Media Space and Time could have been saved. People would have had peace of mind at least eight months earlier. By withholding information which ought to have been kept in public domain, giving some technical excuse such as non-availability of Roll No., what did the University gain?

LET US HOPE THAT REGIONAL PASSPORT OFFICER, AHMEDABAD, ALSO CLEARS THE PASSPORT APPLICATION OF MS. JASHODA BEN

It appears that Ms. Jashoda Ben w/o our PM Shri Narendra Modi wanted to go abroad and applied for a passport. Media reports indicate that her application has been rejected on some flimsy ground like 'marriage declaration /certificate not submitted'. Unless there are extremely valid reasons, it will be apt for the Regional Passport Officer, to clear her application also, without waiting for instructions from Information Commissioner. Justice should not only be done, it should also appear to have been done. If Regional Passport Officer withholds the passport application of Ms. Jashoda Ben, on some flimsy ground, there is a risk of our Prime Minister getting a bad name.

712 Congress and Mr. Arvind Kejriwal should stop this blaming game! It does not really help them, or India.

Congress Party through its Official Spokesperson Mr. Abhishekh Singhwi, and A.A.P. through its leader Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, threw some mud on BJP and Mr. Narendra Modi, for allowing an Investigation Team from Pakisthan to visit India and Pathankot, which unfortunately turned out to be a damp squib. Suppose, if Congress or A.A.P. is in power, and BJP is in opposition at Centre, will Mr. Narendra Modi have thrown more mud or less mud on the Govt. ? Considering his performance, he will throw more mud on the Congress for the fiasco. This is not a hypothetical question. It is more a question on the behavioral trends of bourgeoisie political parties all over the world. Neither Congress or BJP cannot be exceptions to the Universal Trends.

Clarification from ybrao-a-donkey: I am not a supporter of Congress or BJP or A.A.P. Though, I am trying for an intellectual paradigm shift of Indians in general towards a leftist sland, I do not spare even left parties like CPM and CPI, which have their leftist mask on their boureoisie interior.

Question: Is the mutual mud-slinging among A.A.P., Congress and BJP on the Pathankot fox pos really relevant from the point of view of Marxism or Communism or Socialism?

Ans: What I am worried about in 2016 India, is the future of Proletariat (Working Class in general, and unorganised Working Class in particular), in this Nation (or country?) of 1.3 billion ants or bees.

Terrorism is a common problem both for India and Pakisthan. The problem of Pakistan seems to be while the elected Government either on its own volition or under pressure from its principal benefactor United States, occasionally offers its helping hand to India for overcoming Cross-border terrorism, the Pakisthan Army, Police, investigative arm ISI, seem to support cross-border terrorism in India.

Suppose if the Pakistan Government functionaries instruct the Pakisthani Army, Police, ISI to co-operate with India in its fight against terrorism, they say "yes" to the Government superficially, and sabotage the investigations from behind. Hence, there is no wonder if the Pakistani Investigation Team which visited India went back and said that India did not help, and blamed India.

As a matter of fact, there is a lot of investigation to be done in Pakisthani territory. As a Sovereign State, Pakistan ought to have done it, prosecuted the culprits who attacked Pathankot Airbase, and got them convicted in their courts of Law. But, that is an ideal situation which seldom happens.

Apart from the unwillingness of the Pak Bureaucracy, Police, ISI, Army to co-operate, there are two more hitches. 1. Corruption and inefficiency. 2. Variance between laws, investigation procedures prevalent in Pakistan and in India.

It will not be polite or prudent for India to say that Pakistani Investigative Agencies are inefficient. For that matter, in some respects, even Indian Investigative Agencies are inefficient.

Still, if Mr. Nawaz Sheriff wants continue extending his helping hand, he can permit Indian Investigating Agencies to continue their investigating work in Pakistani Territory, subject to some conditions. Of course, Pakistani Investigating Agencies will object to it. They will not co-operate.

Right now, there is no use of Indian Political Parties and their leaders indulging in a blaming game. Even if they are not willing to provide constructive co-operation and suggestions, they can maintain silence. They can leave Mr. Narendra Modi and his Cabinet to tackle the problem to the best of their ability upto 2019. They (Opposition) may get their turn in 2019. Till then, they have to wait. There is no alternative.

In cricket for example, a batsman who is duck-out in his first innings, will be too eager to score a Century in the second innings. If he-she ducks in both the innings, then the player have to wait for another match/Test. If in most matches/tests they fail, then they have to wait for the next Series. Some unfortunate players may get only one or two opportunities. Some others like Mr. Sachin Tendulkar may get numerous opportunities in spite of repeated failures. If an ordinary sport like Cricket has so many vicissitudes , how many wageries the gambles of politics should have?

Bureaucrats and Politicians governing India can ask the Indian Intelligence and Investigating Agencies, Army, Paramilitary Officials (NIA, CBI, BSF, etc.) to workout some reasonable solutions.

In the mean time, India will have to erect a second inner fence on the Indo Pak Border, to double filter insurgents. There is also a need to deploy more drones, Lakshya aircraft, reconnoissance radars, surveillance systems.

461 Kejriwal Group has driven out Yadav and Bhushan as expected

The political affairs Committee of AAP has been authorised to take disciplinary action against:

"Any member who, without authorisation, issues media statements against the party line  and takes decisions in a bid to tarnish the party's image."

Mr. Yogendra Yadav and Mr. Prashanti Bhushan need not hang around and fall down at the feet of Mr. Kejriwal.

They can leave Kejriwal and the People of Delhi to look after their own affairs.

Yadav and Bhushan can start a new NATIONAL party from the State of Residual Andhra Pradesh.  They can start their reconstruction, and battle against corruption (for the time being , assuming that they are genuine crusaders against corruption) from Telugu Land on a fresh slate.  The people are full tired of the corrupt regimes in the United Andhra Pradesh and the Residual Andhra Pradesh.  But, it will not be easy for Yadav and Bhushan to germinate and sprout in Residual A.P.  politics without distributing liquor and making false promises.   Though Hindi land and Kurukshetra are important, they should also realise that without conquering Telugu land, they will have great difficulty in having access to Delhi throne.

420 Will God see that Bedi and Kejriwal lose their elections if they do not visit prayer houses?

Ms. Kiran Bedi, India's first woman IPS Officer, Chief Minister aspirant on behalf of BJP in the recent 2015 Feb. Delhi elections, is reported to have said:-

"...I am not doing it for the first time. I used to visit gurudwaras in Amritsar when I was a child. I used to go to church in my school. I believe in all religions. I learnt the 'sarva dharma' during my childhood. It's all upto God now. ..."

ybrao a DONKEY'S VOICE

What was she doing between her childhood and her candidature for the Delhi CM post?

Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, A.A.P. leader, and Delhi CM aspirant is reported to have said:-

".....Will go to all temples and gurudwaras in my constituency today. I pray to God that let truth triumph and let the common man win ..."

Accordingly he is reported to have gone to Mr. Kejriwal is reported to have visited Gurudwara Rakabganj and Birla Temple, New Delhi.

ybrao DONKEY'S VOICE

Both Bedi and Kejriwal seem to lack self-confidence.  OK.   Suppose, they do not visit the Gurudwaras and temples.  Will they lose their elections?  Suppose, all the candidates of all the parties (except Communists) go to prayer houses of all religions.  Only Bedi and Kejriwal remain in home.  Will God see that these two are defeated, for their disobedience?

Actually, even after getting clean majority, post of the Chief Minister of any State can be a virtual hell.  Because States are beggars at the gate of Union Finance Minister for alms.  Chief Ministers without money (probable exception KCR in Telangana, with Hyderabad City in his kitty) will have to perform Kuchipudi or Kathak dance before people.

Marxists and leftists should develop leaders from their grassroots, who do not visit churches, gurudwaras, masjids and temples.

210 Fall of Kejriwal and my inner tumult

186 Varanasi Kejriwal

186 Varanasi Kejriwal

Mr. Arvind Kejriwal appears to be a leader, better than Mr. Narendra Modi. I might have erred.

184 Aravind Kejriwal & Media

184 Aravind Kejriwal & Media

Show the 'true story' of Narendra Modi-ruled Gujarat.
My "will jail media" statement was made with reference to "specific media houses".
"My statement should not be generalised. I did not say that the entire media is corrupt," నా ప్రకటనను అందరికీ వర్తింప చేయకండి.

Who will give expensive machinery? Who will give computer hardware and software? Who will give printing paper? Who will supply printing ink? Who will pay salaries to reporters, editors and technical staff? Who will pay electricity bills? Who will pay transport charges?

Shri Kejriwal may please have to understand the working of the Capitalist System of Economy. This type of corruption of various institutions (not only Media) working within the framework of Capitalism, becomes inevitable, by virtue of the very nature of the Capitalist philosophy of working to make bucks.

Mr. Kejriwal is a person who knows all the dire circumstances under which media houses operate. Why does he speak, as if he does not know anything?

It is not my intention to support the dirty tricks indulged in by some mediahouses.

They say that those who stay in glasshouses should not throw stones at others. This principle applies both to Mr. Kejriwal and the Media.

Question

Why you are you taking troubles to write in three languages, when you know little English and Hindi?

IT Companies are boasting that even those who studied B. Tech and M. Tech do not have adequate English skills and that consequently, they are unable to employ more people (as if they will throw away jobs, if candidates with English skills are available in abundance).

One Seemandhra leader said. '' We could not present our problems and arguments effectively before our leaders at Delhi because we are not proficient in Hindi. Telangana people know Hindi very well. They could quite frequently and effectively present their problems and arguments before High Command and convice them to get what they wanted."

I (ybrao a donkey) understood from the above that all Seemandhra leaders of all parties (not only Congress leaders) need frequent works-out in English and Hindi. I wanted to contribute, according to might.

If we go on writing our agitations in Telugu only, how do people of other States and other countries know?

104 Did Mr. Kejriwal fall into the pit dug by Congress.
