1055 How to compare the India ruled by our Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and his BJP Party, with Shri Ram Rajya, the India of thousands / hundreds of thousands of years back?

Where-When-Why-How, against whom did Shri Rama use his Sword Nandakam ? Trigger for this blog post is: Shri Rama PaTTAbhishEkam celebrations (Anointment Ceremony of Lord Shri RAma as King of Ayodhya) at Bhadrachalam Temple, Telangana State, India. The Priests have adorned the Shri Rama's Statue with a sword, calling it 'Nandakam'. During the Coronation Ceremony, a preacher of the Pancharatra-VaishNava Sect Shri Chinna Jiyyar was also present. He is reported to have presented a Gold-Crown to the idol of Shri Rama. The Video of the Ceremony can also be seen on YouTube. Click here to go to youtube and see the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bPzCK5XkVOo. So far so good, because the occasion may be a audio-visual delight. But at the same time, my Readers may be interested to know about this 'nandaka' - the sword (looked small in size like a dagger, probably because its size has to match with the idols' size). Hence I am writing this quote from the Vol. 7 named Uttara KAnDA of Valmiki Ramayan. Uttara = post, after. kAnDA= story, episode. Book seven deals with the remaining Part of the Story of Ramayana, after arrival back of Sita RAma Lakshmanas from the 14 year exile of forest, and Rama's Coronation as the King of Ayodhya.

How to compare the India ruled by our Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and his BJP Party, with Shri Ram Rajya, the Ayodhya-India believed to have been ruled by Lord Shri Rama, thousands / hundreds of thousands of years back? Here is link to a News dt. 31st March 2019 from Indian Express which contains a Report by its Reporter Gopal B. Kateshia. Click here to go to: http://indianexpress.com/article/india/for-riding-horse-upper-caste-men-kill-dalit-youth-in-gujarat-5117872/. This Report's heading itself is very clear: "...For riding horse, upper caste men kill Dalit youth in Gujarat. ...". This Report we shall discuss after completing the study of Shambuka vadha, of the Valmiki Ramayana, Book 7 Uttara kAnDA (Part dealing with the Events of Post Coronation of Shri Rama as King of Ayodhya).

To eliminate reinventing of the Wheel, I quote below English Translation of Chapters 73, 74, 75, 76 of the UTTARA KANDA, which contains the Story of the "Slaying of Shambuka". English Narration is by Late Shri Hariprasad Shashtri, his 1959 Translation of Valmiki Ramayana, kind courtesy Google and Archive.org.

An aged parent- a brahmin, bearing his dead child in his arms came to the palace gate, weeping and crying out again and again : —

What sin did I commit in a previous existence ?

Overcome with paternal grief, he repeated unceasingly, O My Son, My Son ! Ah ! Of what fault was I formerly guilty in another body that I should see mine only son meet with death ? This boy had not yet reached adolescence, his fourteenth year not having been completed ! To my misfortune, before his time, this dear child has been struck down by death ! In a few days, I and thy mother too will die of grief, O Dear Child ! I do not recollect ever to have uttered a lie ; I do not remember ever inflicting an injury on any animal or doing harm to any person ! For what misdeed has this child, born to me, gone to the abode of Vaivaswata this day, before he had performed a son’s duties to his sire ? Never before have I witnessed or heard of such a dreadful thing as, in Rama’s reign, for people to die prematurely. Rama must have committed a serious fault since in his kingdom, children succumb. Assuredly the young who inhabit other countries need not fear death ! O King, give me back the life of my child, who has fallen under the sway of death ! With my wife, I shall yield up my life at the gate of the king as if I were without a protector ! Thereafter, having been guilty of Brahmanicide, O Rama, be happy ! Mayest thou live long with thy brothers ! O Mighty Monarch, under thy rule, after a period of prosperity in thine empire, misfortune has now overtaken us, placing us imder death’s dominion, O Rama ! From now on we shall not enjoy the least felicity since the empire of the magnanimous Ikshvakus no longer has a support. With Rama as its protector, the death of children is certain. People perish under the unrighteous rule of an impious monarch. The evil conduct of a king brings about the premature death of his subjects. When, in the cities and country, crimes are committed and no supervision is exercised, then death is to be feared ! Undoubtedly the king will be held to be at fault in city and country, hence the death of this child.

Such were the countless recriminations that the unfortunate father addressed to the king whilst he clasped his son to his breast.

( CHAPTER 74 Narada’s Discourse )

The piteous lamentations of that unfortunate brahmin reached the ears of the king and he, in the profound distress he experi- enced, called together his ministers, Vasishtha and Vamadeva, with his brothers and the elders of the city also.

Then eight brahmins were ushered into the king’s presence by Vasishtha, who resembled a God, and they said : —

May prosperity attend thee !

Thereafter those foremost of the Twice-born, Markandeya, Maudgalya, Vamadeva, Kashyapa, Katyayana, Jabali, Gautama and Narada took their seats, and those Rishis being assembled, Rama paid obeisance to them w'ith joined palms. Then the ministers and citizens received a cordial welcome, as was fitting, and all those highly effulgent persons being seated near him, Raghava informed them of the reproaches of that Twice-bom One.

Hearing the words of the prince, who was filled with distress, Narada himself made this memorable reply in the assembly of the Sages ; —

Learn, O King, what has caused the untimely death of this child ! When thou art conversant therewith, do what thou considerest to be thy duty !

O Prince, Joy of the Raghus, formerly in the Krita Yuga, the brahmins alone practised asceticism ; he who was not a brahmin in no wise undertook it. At the close of that age, all was consumed and absorbed into Brahman. Thereafter the brahmins were re-bom enlightened and endowed with the gift of immortality. In that age, none died prematurely and all were wise.

The Treta Yuga followed when the sons of Manu were born, who practised austerities ; these noble men were the rulers, and full of power and heroism. In that era. Brahmins and Kshatriyas were equal in power nor could any distinction be found amongst them ; it was then that the four castes were established.

When that Yuga, which had been free from nescience, was consumed in the Fire,'® unrighteousness placed one foot on the earth and, on account of wrong-doing, glory waned and the span of life was diminished, O Best of Monarchs. Flesh that had been formerly eaten,* became impure food throughout the whole world and, in these conditions, men gave themselves up to good deeds, taking refuge in purity and justice to rid them- selves of evil.

In the Treta Yuga, brahmins and warriors practised asceticism and the rest were under the supreme obligation of obedience, proper to the Vaishya and Shudra classes ; the Shudras duty being to serve the other three.

O Great King, in the Dwapara Yuga, untruth and evil increased, unrightousness having placed a second foot on the earth, and then the Vaishyas began to practice penance, so that dharma, in the form of asceticism, was performed by the three castes, but the Shudras were not permitted to imdertake it during that time, O Foremost of Men.

O Prince, a man of the lowest caste may not give himself up to penance in the Dwapara Yuga ; it is only in the Kali Yuga that the practice of asceticism is permitted to the Shudra caste. During the Dwapara Yuga it is a great crime for one of Shudra birth to perform such practices.

At this time, in thine empire, a rigid penance is being imder- taken by a wretched Shudra, O Prince, and this is the cause of the death of that child.

The practice of unrighteousness, be it in the city or the country, brings about misfortune and the monarch who does not mete out an immediate punishment, goes to hell, of this there is no doubt.

An act of mortification that is prescribed is well done and a sixth of the merit goes to the king who rules wi± justice. But how should he, who does not protect his people, enjoy the sixth portion ? O Lion among Men, thou shouldst investigate the happenings in thy kingdom and put down evil wherever it is practised, so righteousness may flourish, man’s life be prolonged and the child be revived.

(CHAPTER 75 Rama makes a Tour of Inspection of his Kingdom ).

Hearing the nectar-like words of Narada, Rama was delighted and said to Lakshmana : —

O Dear Friend, thou who art faithful to thy vows, go and console that leading brahmin and cause the body of the child to be placed in a jar of oil with precious unguents and fragrant salves so that it is covered and does not suffer decomposition. Aa in such a way that the body of the child does not dissolve or decay.

Having issued this command to Lakshmana, who was endowed with auspicious marks, the highly illustrious Kakutstha thought of Pushpaka, and said Come hither ! Conscious of his inten- tion, the golden chariot’ appeared before him in the same hour and bowing, said to him : —

Behold, I am here at thy service, O Long-armed Prince !

Listening to the gracious words of Pushpaka, Rama paid obeisance to the great Rishis and ascended the chariot. Armed with his bow, his two quivers and his glittering sword, Raghava left the city in the charge of his two brothers, Saumitri and Bharata, and thereafter that monarch directed his course to the western region which he explored on every side ; then he went to the northern region bounded by the Himalayas, but found no trace of evil-doing there ; later the eastern region was carefully searched by him and that long-armed Prince, from on high in his chariot, beheld people of pure morals there, as stainless as a mirror. Then he, who causes felicity to the great Rishis, ranged the southern region and, on the side of the Shaivala Mountain, a vast lake appeared to him, on the banks of which the blessed Raghava beheld an ascetic practising an extremely rigorous penance, his head hanging downwards.

On this that Prince bom of Raghu approached the one who had given himself up to rigorous practices and said : —

Blessed art thou, O Ascetic, who art faithful to thy vows ! From what caste art thou sprung, O Thou who hast grown old in mortification and who art established in heroism. I am interested in this matter, I, Rama, the son of Dasaratha. What purpose hast thou in view ? Is it heaven or some other object ? What boon dost thou seek by means of this hard penance ? I wish to know what thou desirest in performing these austerities, O Ascetic. May prosperity attend thee ! Art thou a brahmin ? Art thou an invincible Kshatriya ? Art thou a Vaishya, one of the third caste or art thou a Shudra ? Answer me truthfully ! Then the ascetic, who was hanging head downwards, thus questioned by Rama, revealed his origin to that Prince born of Dasaratha, the foremost of kings, and the reason why he was practising penance.

Hearing the words of Rama of imperishable exploits, that ascetic, his head still hanging downwards, answered : —

O Rama, I was born of a Shudra alliance and I am per- forming this rigorous penance in order to acquire the status of a God in this body. I am not telling a lie, O Rama, I wish to attain the Celestial Region. Know that I am a Shudra and my name is Shambuka.

As he was yet speaking, Raghava, drawing his brilliant and stainless sword from its scabbard, cut off his head. The Shudra being slain, all the Gods and their leaders with Agni’s followers, cried out, Well done ! Well done!overwhelming Rama with praise, and a rain of celestial flowers of divine fragrance fell on all sides, scattered by Vayu. In their supreme satisfaction, the Gods said to that hero, Rama : —

Thou hast protected the interests of the Gods, O Highly Intelligent Prince, now ask a boon, O Beloved Offspring of Raghu, Destroyer of Thy Foes. By thy grace, this Shudra will not be able to attain heaven !

Hearing the words of the Gods, that hero of the region of truth, with joined palms, addressed Purandara of a Thousand Eyes, saying ; —

Since the Gods are gratified with me, let the son of that brahmin be resuscitated ! Accord me this, the greatest of all favours ! It is on account of my negligence that this child, the only son of that brahmin, has died before his time. Give him back his life ! May prosperity be yours I I have promised that I would restore his son to this Twice-born, do not let my words prove false !

Thus spoke Raghava and the foremost of the Celestials, full of joy, gave him this reply, enhancing his felicity : —

O Kakutstha be happy ! This very day that child has received new life and has been restored to his parents. The child was resuscitated at the instant that the head of the Shudra fell. Be happy I May prosperity attend thee ! Now let us go, O Raghava, O Foremost of Monarchs, we desire to visit Agastya’s hermitage. The hour of consecration is at hand for that great Rishi ! O Illustrious Prince, for twelve years, he has lived in the water. O Kakutstha, let us go together to offer felicitations to that ascetic. Do thou come and visit the foremost of Rishis also and be happy.

'Be it so' , said the enhancer of the Raghus’ joy , and ascended the gold-encrusted Chariot, Pushpaka. Meantime, the Gods had left in their vast chariots and Rama followed them without delay to the hermitage of Kumbhayoni.

INCIDENT OF MURDER OF DALIT YOUTH FOR RIDING A HORSE IN TIMBI VILLAGE, BHAVNAGAR DISTRICT, GUJARAT

From the above link of Indian Express.com given by me above, some quotes have very pertinent and poignant information:--
Vocabulary tip for the word "POIGNANT". Kind courtesy Google Internet Dictionary. The example given in this Vocab. tip is also very much pertinent.
poignant ˈpɔɪnjənt/ adjective adjective: poignant: evoking a keen sense of sadness or regret. "a poignant reminder of the passing of time". synonyms: touching, moving, sad, saddening, affecting, pitiful, piteous, pitiable, pathetic, sorrowful, mournful, tearful, wretched, miserable, bitter, painful, distressing, disturbing, heart-rending, heartbreaking, tear-jerking, plaintive, upsetting, tragic
"the father of the murder victim bade a poignant farewell to his son".

The following linked HindustanTimes.Com Report is slightly different from other Media Reports: Click here to go to: https://www.hindustantimes.com/india-news/dalit-youth-in-gujarat-killed-for-harassing-girls-not-keeping-horse-police/story-1fSasHfORM5RxuIZMJve6J.html. A quote from the HindusthanTimes Report is important:

"...District Superintendent of Police Pravin Mal told reporters that initial investigations had revealed that 21-year-old Pradeep Rathod might not have been killed because he was a Dalit and the higher castes had objections over his using and keeping a horse...."

"... Police had already detained three persons in the case. ..."
“...The preliminary investigations reveal that the boy was not killed just for owning the horse as has been alleged in the FIR lodged. Instead, we have come across a lot of complaints about objectionable behaviour of the boy from various quarters and perhaps some persons may have killed him for that,” he said, adding: “We are trying to ascertain the true reason and nab the culprits. ...”

ybrao-a-donkey's personal views which are not intended to be imposed on others

It appears that in many Dalit Atrocity Cases, some bourgeoisie Police Officials seem to search for alibis, to save upper caste Culprits.

"...Police said that during their investigations, they had received complaints against the character of the boy. “Some villagers complained that the boy would perform stunts on the horse and on motorcycle whenever he confronted young girls. He also used to enter into fights, ...” Pravin Mal said.

"...Police said that they have also come across multiple complaints against Pradeep’s father for being involved in various incidents of land grabbing in the past. ..."

In this instant case, if there were previous complaints against the character of the boy, what corrective action was taken by the Head Constable, Asst. SI, Sub Inspector and Circle Inspector of the Area? Did they give him any written warnings? Did they make any entries in Police Records about the boy's behavior? Dis they inform their Superiors? Did they at least orally counsel the boy? Similarly, if the boy's father was involved in various incidents of land grabbing in the past what action was taken against him? Similarly what action was taken against the Land-grabbers of other castes in the Village and its surroundings? Why didn't the Police conduct a meeting of all the 3,000 people in the village, guide them properly, and try to set right the things? Why did the Police allow the things to culminate into a murderous State of Affairs? Now, these things may not end. There will be recriminations and retributions.

Are the Upper Castes of the Timbi Village running a Kingdom of their own, where they will administer their own punishments of killing, for misbehaviors and land grabbings, without reporting to the Police?

Does the misbehavior of the boy or his father justify the boy's killing? Even in the gravest of the gravest provocations and crimes, we cannot justify killings. There are many other ways of preventing communal strife.

Obviously, the alibis of --complaints against the boy and his father-- are only being shown as excuses for the monstrous murder, so as to reduce the seriousness of the Offense.

What similarities we can see in the manner in which the Superintendent of Police is speaking, and the Action of Lord Shri Rama who beheaded Shambuka with his Nandaka Sword, without applying his mind?
This post is to be completed.

1043 What can be the possible reason for the unpleasant predicament of Mr. Praveen Togadia, International Working President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad?

It is mind boggling to think, why Mr. Praveen Togadia, the Working President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad is so much an extremely worried person today. He and our Hon. Prime Minister are contemporaries both having started with RSS, while Hon. Narendra Modi joined BJP, Shri Praveen Togadia joined Vishwa Hindu Parishad. Both seems to have shared a common objective of promoting a Hindu Nation (Hindu rAshTra), and their previous bon homie, friendliness, geniality and warmth was understandable. Here is a link to an IndianExpress.com report dated 18th Jan. 2018 in which Mr. Praveen Togadia claimed that his life is at risk. Click here to go to http://indianexpress.com/article/india/pravin-togadia-sees-plot-against-him-mentions-senior-gujarat-cop-pm-5029390/.

What Mr. Togadia is reported to have said is worth thoroughly analysing

"...an informant had told me that I would be killed in a police encounter. So I had left the VHP office and reached my close aide Ghanshyam Charandas’s home. At 3 pm, I left for Ahmedabad airport to catch a flight to Jaipur, thinking I would surrender in court, but on the way I fainted and then found myself in the hospital.

"...Main joint commissioner of police, crime branch, par aarop laga raha hoon. Unke phone ke 15 dino ke incoming aur outgoing call ko sarvjanik kiya jaye, ki kitni baar inhoney Pradhan Mantri se baat ki hai. ... " . Approx. English: I am accusing (on) the Joint Commissioner of Police, Crime Branch. Let his incoming and outgoing phone calls during the last 15 days be made Public, to know how many times these people spoke to the Prime Minister.

"...When Modiji was CM I have never talked to him on the phone. Do you think he will speak to me when he is the PM. I have never talked to him… as it is being stated. ..."

From the side of the Police Officer: "... We presented what we got based on our investigations. In the press conference which Pravinbhai had addressed on Tuesday he said that it was an attempted encounter, a politically motivated plan and a conspiracy against it. He had Z-plus security and he should not have jumped into an auto if he thought he was under threat. He could have called the security. ..."

(From Mr. Togadia's side): "...Those who are connecting me with the Congress after its leader came to check my health should ask such questions to the BJP leaders who have Congress-ised the party. ..."

ybrao-a-donkey's personal views not intended to be imposed on others

Mr. Praveen Togadia's reluctance to take along with him, the Z-Category Security Staff, appears to me somewhat quirky, because dozens of people both politicians and business tycoons crave to be protected by Z-Category Security.

For example, Readers may see this news item titled: "Mukesh Ambani's 24x7 Z-security cover to cost him Rs 15 lakh a month " at Click here to go to http://www.business-standard.com/article/companies/mukesh-ambani-s-24x7-z-security-cover-to-cost-him-rs-15-lakh-a-month-113042200692_1.html. This news item says:

"...Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani is the latest among 200-odd people in Mumbai who are provided heightened security by the central government. The categories are termed Z-plus, Z, Y and X. The Z-category for Ambani means an armed commando squad will guard him all 24 hours in a day. It is given to only those with a very high security threat perception. ..."

When the Country's topmost Security at the cost of Nation, is provided to Mr. Togadia, to get which others have to shell out Rs. 1.5 million per month, it is not understandable why he is refusing. Not only that. He is expressing apprehensions that he will be killed in a Police Encounter. That means he is doubting his own ostensible Protectors. This type of apprehension of being "police-encountered" is understandable if some Islamic Terrorist from Pakisthan or Gulf Area suffers from. Mr. Togadia belongs to the Ruling Class of Gujarat since at least 2002, and Ruling Class of India since at least 2014. And this may, probably be the reason, for his name appearing in the Hit Lists of Alien-Infiltrated-Terrorists, and for the Z-Category Security provided to him, free of cost. If Z Category protection does not / cannot save him from Encounters, who else can save him? He may have to employ bouncers, just as film stars do.

A beautiful contextual Telugu Language verse, which depicts the situation well

In Roman Script: kUrimi gala dinamulalO
nEramu lennaDu kaluga nEravu mari yA
kUrimi virasambai napuDu
nEramulE tOcu cunDu nikkam sumatI !

English Gist: During the days of friendship, omissions and commissions of friends are ignored among themselves. When that friendship breaks into shambles, everywhere, the broken friends find omissions and commissions.

Now, here, Mr. Pravin togAdia is lamenting "...When Modiji was CM I have never talked to him on the phone. Do you think he will speak to me when he is the PM. I have never talked to him… as it is being stated. ...".

Why didn't Hon. Narendra Modi, after becoming Chief Minister of Gujarat, did not speak to his pal Mr. Praveen Togadia? It is understandable that Mr. Modi may not be able to contact Mr. Togadia, after becoming Prime Minister, because Mr. Modi is very busy with Great Persons like Trump, Puti, Netanyahu, Xi, Shinzo Abe, Angela Merkel etc. As he is busy hugging World Leaders, he may not have time to hug his youth-time friend Mr. Togadia.

Two more Sanskrit Verses about friendship are worth quoting

(From Bhartrihari's Niti Satakam)Friendship between Milk and water

kshiireshaatmagatodakaaya hi
gushaa dattam purA te'khilA

kshIrottApam avekshya tena payasam
svaatmam krus`Anau hutah

gantuh pAvakam unmanas
tad abhavad drusht`vA tu mitrApad

yukt tEna jalEna Samyati
sataha maitrI punastvIdruSI.

English Gist: 1. Milk lends its good qualities to water, when water is added to it.
2. Water jumps into fire, when it finds the milk boiling and in danger.
3. Milk also jumps into fire, unable to bear the danger to its friend (water).
4. Both enjoy peace, when milk and water live together.

Arambha gurvI, kshayiEI kramesha
laghvI puraa vruddhimatii ca pas`cAt
dinasya pUrvArdha parArdha bhinnA
chAyEva maitrI, khala sajjanAnAm .

English Gist: The poet discusses two types of friendship. 1. Friendship between two good persons.

2. Friendship between two rascals.

Friendship between two good persons starts on a small scale like a shadow in the midday which is very short and stretches to full length by dusk.

Friendship between two bad persons (or one good person and another bad person) starts ostentatiously and fails at the end, like a shadow in the morning which is very long and becomes negligible by midday.

There is also a need to make clear distinctions between different types of Associations. For example, an Association of an 'acquaintance' may be mistaken as friendship. The true nature of acquaintance is like the Association between two Railway Passengers travelling in Opposite seats in a Compartment. As long as they are in the train, they may give an appearance of being friends. But once their Stations come, they part their ways. Later, they may meet, or they may not meet again. Even if they meet, they may 1) recall their friendships and hug one another 2) they may not be able to recognise one another depending upon the time gap 3) one of them in a higher level in Society may not recognise the other 4) one of them in a higher level may recognise the other, but may pretend not to recognise 5) the one at higher level may avoid the other altogether. Any permutation and combination is possible.

1037 I am sad that BJP and its bosses have avoided a more secular and safer way of rescuing innocent women being got ridden of by some unscrupulous husbands

Many Indians seem to believe that BJP Rulers of India, have got the Instant Triple Talaq Prohibition bill accepted in Lok Sabha, as they have great compassion towards the suffering Muslim Women abandoned by their unscrupulous husbands using the Custom of Triple Talaq. May be true, they have Great Compassion, which Ms. Sonia Gandhi and her crony Prime Minister, Hon. Manmohan Singh lacked. But, let us see what Mr. Vijay Rupani said on about 11th Sept. 2017 i.e. before Gujarat Elections, to Shri Shashi Bhushan, of DeccanChronicle.Com. Link to study that interview: Click to go to :

"...Are you confident of carrying out Mr Shah’s goal for 150 of 182 Assembly seats? ..."

"...The BJP is going to record a historic win. We will get over 150 seats. When Modiji was chief minister, he got 122 seats in the 2012 Assembly polls. This time we are confident of getting over 150 seats. There will be division of votes in the Muslim community because of our fight against triple talaq, and we expect Muslim women to vote for the BJP. It happened in Uttar Pradesh. When Prime Minister Narendra Bhai talks of 6.5 crore Gujaratis, it also includes Muslims. ..."

Question: In the title of this Blog Post, you say that 'there is a more secular and safer way of designing this bill. What is that?

Ans: These are my personal views which I do not want to impose on others. By the word 'Secular', I mean that State shall not be concerned with the religions / castes of its Citizens. In case of divorces, a Secular State shall not be concerned about the Religion - caste of the Persons in a marriage. In such case, a Secular Law can have clauses on following lines:

"...Irrespective of the Religion/Irreligion/Caste/Lack of caste of Persons in Marriage, irrespective of Grounds on which Divorces are sought, the Divorces can become effective / valid / enforceable only through an Order issued by a Civil / Criminal Court of Appropriate-Competent Jurisdiction in India. Under no circumstances Divorces / Abandoning Wives-husbands should be allowed to be done by spouses through processes outside India's Laws and Courts...."

"... The Courts deciding Applications for Divorces, can hear and decide them on Merits and Circumstances, Documents, Evidences, available to them, if there are no clear-cut Statutory Provisions. ..."

"..Such decrees can be challenged in appeal in Higher Courts, as per the extant Legal Provisions, like any other Civil, Criminal Cases, and the Higher Courts can decide the Appeals on Merits.

BJP Rulers in their hurry to create a Muslim-Women Vote-Bank exclusively for themselves, seems to have opened a Pandora's Box. Haste will always be perilous. Consultation with Opposition Parties, at least trying to obtain a Consensus- if not full waiting for Consensus can help the country in avoiding / preventing complex situations, such as Communal Conflicts, Internal Civil Wars.

A verse by the Great Ancient Sanskrit poet 'bhAravi':
सहसा विदधीत न क्रियाम्
अविवेकः परमापदां पदम् ।
वृणते हि विमृश्यकारिणं
गुणलुब्धाः स्वयमेव हि संपदः ॥ (किरातार्जुनीयम् २.३०)

sahasA vidadhIt na kriyAm
avivEkaha paramApadAm padam
vriNatE hi vimrisya kAriNam
guNalabdhAha svayamEva hi sampadaha.
(KirAtArjunIyam 2/30)

Approx. Gist: 1. Nothing should be done in haste/hurry. (There is also a reverse maxim: Alasyam amritam visham. Meaning: When delayed, nectar can become poison).

2. Indiscretion can become a cause for great dangers/hardships and troubles.

3. Good Results and glory accomplished with virtuosity, prefer those who exercise discretion. In other words, an approximate inference. (subject to revision): Only those who exercise discretion can alone gain virtuosity, and good results.

Question: You seem to hate BJP Rulers. Why don't you criticise Mr. Rahul Gandhi?

Prince Rahul Gandhi, seems to be immature. He is going around Temples because somebody in Congress Coteries advised him to do so, and in the recent Gujarat Elections, like a Parrot he has repeated the Dialogues his Counsellers. Anyway, he is not in Power today. Because Congress and Hon. Manmohan Singh failed miserably, people gave an opportunity to BJP Rulers. The BJP Rulers are committing the same Mistakes which their Congress Predecessors had committed.

Mr. Rahul Gandhi seems to have fallen in the trap of Hardik Patel

Mr. Rahul Gandhi, by promising to meet the demands of Mr. Hardik Patel, the Spear-head of Patidar Andolan, seems to have fallen in his trap. Now, Mr. Hardik Patel is trying to switch on the "AyA Ram GayA Ram Culture", by calling Mr. Nitin Patel to defect with 10 MLAs, within one month of Gujarat Election Result:--

If Gujarat Deputy CM #NitinPatel along with 10 MLAs is ready to leave BJP, then will talk to Congress to get him a good position. If BJP does not respect him, he should leave the party: Hardik Patel in Gujarat's Sarangpur pic.twitter.com/cFlORE7Yqu

940 TimesofIndia.Com Editorial dt. Apr.3. 2017 ' MEAT UNDER ATTACK ' does not appear to be reasonable

TimesofIndia.indiatimes.com editorial dated Apr 3, 2017, titled 'MEAT UNDER ATTACK' does not appear to be reasonable. The overall impression we get from reading the Editorial, as per my perception, is that India cannot generate employment to its 1300 million people, without meat production and meat exports. Workers in India will starve, if abattoirs are closed. It may be partly true. The Editorial sees the problem only from a commercial angle. Only from money angle. Only from business angle. That perspective may be respectable in Nations which have brutal cultures. But not India, which is supposed to be a land which gave birth to Great Souls like Gautama Buddha, Vardhamana Mahavira and 24 Tirthankaras, Mahatma Gandhi, Kabir, Jimutavahana, Sibi, Mandhata et al. This editorial has pained me substantially, because since 1991 to 2017, owing to the defective Economic policies of the Rulers, in the guise of Economic Reforms, millions of people lost their employment, thousands of the displaced persons committed suicides, families of many displaced persons underwent immeasurable deprivation and misery. Yet, none of the Corporate Bosses of India Inc., and the Media they own have never raised any objections, or at least expressed any unhappiness or concerns over the displacement/unemployment of millions. Now, suddenly, why this extra-ordinary sympathy they are expressing for this meat production and meat exporting businesses, on the ground of unemployment of meat-workers?

To start with, we shall have a link to the Editorial:--

Click here to go to http://blogs.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/toi-editorials/meat-under-attack-authorities-must-not-encourage-food-bigotry-or-harass-legitimate-businesses/ and study the Editorial.

FEW QUOTES FROM THE EDITORIAL

"...Or when legitimate UP enterprises that account for over half of India’s $5 billion worth of buffalo meat exports are threatened. It’s not just precious foreign exchange but lakhs of jobs that are at stake in an economy characterised by jobless growth. Even if one wants to institute bans on cow slaughter, this cannot be equated to the taking of a human life. Such conflations amount to religious fundamentalism which will breed conflict and violence – Pakistan next door is a good example of how it plays out. The vigilantism and violence seen from Dadri to Una could now get worse, endangering social stability and harmony...."

"...Some months ago Prime Minister Narendra Modi had come down heavily on such vigilantes, calling out the majority of ‘gau rakshaks’ as anti-socials who proclaim themselves cow protectors only to cover up their misdeeds. Yet, in conflicting signals, legitimate meat businesses are suffering and non-vegetarianism is facing an aggressive Hindutva attack. Both Centre and BJP-ruled states need to send a more coherent message, about respecting individual liberties and protecting legal businesses. ..."

ybrao-a-donkey's observations, which are not intended to be imposed on others

During the last 1000 years of hegemony of foreign invaders, when jijia tax was levied, pilgrimage tax was levied, 1 out of 3 bags of grain harvest was collected as land revenue, Indians survived by what? Did they survive by slaughtering their milch cattle and draught cattle? Nay. Indians survived by eating a few green chillies, a small chunk of onion, a pinch of salt with rice/jowar/wheat/bajra gruel. Sometimes, they starved with empty bellies.

A Note of Caution

Compassion towards animals cannot be forced on citizens by law or the rulers. People have to cultivate it gradually, by self-education, self-enlightenment. Undue haste on the part of rulers can lead to negative results. Recall how Sanjay Gandhi's haste for forced sterilisations led to a repulsion in the minds of people towards family planning, and the population of India went upto 1300 million.

Voluntary vegetarianism has its economic benefits, apart from health benefits, emotional-peace and tranquility benefits.

It is also saddening to note that a culture is developing, where people will be eager to devour meats from airconditioned slaughterhouses, because the so-called gentle meat buyers and eaters do not want to see the bloodshed and cruelty in slaughterhouses.

919 Whose mindset did the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi change?

Worldwide, industrialist and politician behaviors are same, or nearly same. There is a close interwoven relationship between the business behaviors of industrialists, and the political behaviors of politicians, which is based on mutual dependence for mutual survival and growth. How can Mr. Mukesh Ambani be an exception? This news report from Zeenews demonstrates one such thing: Click here to go to http://zeenews.india.com/companies/gujarat-vibrant-summit-2017-mukesh-ambani-praises-pm-modi-for-changing-mindset-of-citizens_1966063.html, and observe what Mr. Ambani has said, on 10th Jan. 2017, at the venue of vibrant Gujarat summit 2017.

"...Modi ji first transformed Gujarat, now India. No leader has changed the mindset of so many people in such a short while. ..."

"...We are proud that Reliance is also a Gujarati company. For me, this is a sacred land. Our cumulative investment in Gujarat stands over USD 45 billion. ..."

ybdonkey's views, which are not intended to be imposed on others. Criticism is welcome:

Which Indians' mindset did Shri Narendra Modi change? Did he change the mindsets of religious fanatics? Did he change the mindsets of the billionnaire industrialists? Did he make all Indians industrialists? Did he make all Indians, religious fanatics? Did he change the mindsets of our 21st Century Shajahan like Chief Ministers? What did he change at all? Did he change his own mindset? Did he change this blogger's mindset? What Mr. Mukesh Ambani said is vague, and indefinable, like the Supreme Spirit in Christianity, and the 'brahmam or, brahma padArdham' in Indian philosophy. Let Mr. Ambani specify what changes Mr. Modi has brought into Indian mindsets!

Will Mr. Modi change the mindsets of persons like Mr. Chandravat, the Pramukh of Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, who wants to purchase the Head of the Chief Minister of the Southernmost State of India-Kerala, at a price of Rs. 10 million!

SHAH JAHAN, Mary Antoinette, Louis XVI, AND the 21ST CENTURY CHIEF MINISTERS OF STATES IN INDIA

India views Shah jahan built Tajmahal at Agra as a status symbol. Let us go further deeper:
The Taj Mahal complex is believed to have been completed in its entirety in 1653 at a cost estimated at the time to be around 32 million rupees, which in 2015 would be approximately 52.8 billion rupees (US$827 million). (source: Wikipedia.org).

Now our modern Shah jahan like Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi wants to spend approx. Rs. 4,000 crore (Rs. 40 billion) on a memorial for the legendary 17th Century brave Hero Chatrapati Shivaji, on mid-seas. Did Indians forget the valour of Chatrapati Shivaji? No. Then, why a very very expensive Memorial with an outlay of Rs. 40 billion is required for a Hero who has not been forgotten, and who will never be forgotten, as long as the likes of Shah Jahan and Aurangzeb are remembered in history?

We know that with the exception of Mumbai, most of the rural parts of Maharashtra reel under drought conditions, and farmers commit suicide. Almost all the States in India have farmers committing suicide, unable to live on this part of the planet Earth, which has more statues and memorials, than barrages, dams, agri-warehouses, market yards, food-processing units.

SHAH JAHAN OF ANDHRA PRADESH

Everybody and anybody can guess who the 21st Century Shah Jahan of Andhra Pradesh, and South India. It is Mr. Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Residual Andhra Pradesh. The tanks, wells, bores, in all the four Rayala Seema Districts of Andhra Pradesh (Kurnool, Kadapa, Anantapur, and Chittoor) have dried. Water table sunk. NO drinking water. No livelihood. People are going to cities like Mumbai to work as migrant laborers. Private Transport Buses driven by fatigued or drunken drivers are falling into rivulets and culverts. Our modern Shah Jahan of Andhra Pradesh is doing what? Joyfully discussing the Capital City of Andhra Pradesh plans brought by a London Architect named Mr. Norman Foster. Click here to go to http://www.thehindu.com/todays-paper/tp-national/tp-andhrapradesh/foster-submits-4-designs-of-amaravati-buildings/article17392071.ece, and see Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu with Mr. Norman Foster.. Briefly, what TheHindu.com reported:

Valuable inputs were taken from the way cities like Washington DC, Putrajaya, Astana, London, Brasilia and New Delhi were designed, Mr. Foster said.
Mr. Naidu said that the High Court and the Legislative Assembly should stand out as truly iconic buildings and each one of the remaining constructions has a distinct identity of its own.

He insisted that Amaravati should be one of the world’s five best cities, and the committee headed by Government Advisor (Communications) Parakala Prabhakar would recommend certain changes to be incorporated in the designs conceived by Mr. Foster and his team.

Andhra Pradesh has already built Secretariat and Assembly buildings at Velagapudi, spending some billions of Rupees. If High Court BUilding is also added there, and a few more buildings for various Directorates, Zonal Offices of Central Government Offices and Banks, Central PSUs, the Complex will serve the State for another 150 years, if properly maintained. But, Mr. Naidu calls these buildings temporary. Why these buildings should be treated as temporary? Are they circus tents? The Buildings have been fixed with expensive furniture, computers, accoustic equipment, what not?

Do people of Andhra Pradesh need more Tajmahals? Skyscrapers and Great Hotels can probably make a Concrete Forest. They may satisfy the greed of Capitalists. But they do not provide subsistence to the hungry millions. For example, a very big city like Tokyo has its Senior Citizens voluntarily committing minor crimes and going to jails, because they find that 'to be inside jails' is more comfortable than 'to be free citizens' in a Great City. We should see the lives of Tokyo workers, many of whom live in 'bunk beds' for the very few hours they will be outside their factories / offices. They may be fortunate that their employers have not installed the bunk beds in the factory, fastened the workers to the beds, and forced them to work 24/7/365. Such things can happen in India, when the Capital City of Andhra Pradesh is built by foreigners with their funds.

When people are dying, can we afford to have a Shah Jahan or Mary Anotoinette and King Louis XVI, In Andhra Pradesh?

Why can't Mr. Narendra Modi change the mindset of Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu?

877 Chasing with the hounds, and running with the hares, is a pastime for politicians, worldwide.

Mr. Narendra Modi, the greatly popular Prime Minister of India, seems to be riding on two boats. He is very adeptly discharging his double role. On the one hand, he says that he fights on behalf of poor and downtrodden, against the black KuberAs (Kubera = Lord of Wealth, and the Ruler of the North Direction, in Indian Mythology). But his speechees at the recently held jamboree VIBRANT GUJARAT (2017), express a different language. His largesse to the industrialists knows no bounds. When he speaks on behalf of the poor of India, the first half of the adage "chasing with the hounds" will apply. When he praises industrialists and promises them everything under the sky, 'running with the hares' will apply. One can't portray to be a police and a thief, at the same time.

PAEANS SUNG BY shri MUKHESH AMBANI, AT VIBRANT GUJARAT.

What favors Mr. Mukhesh Ambani may want in return?

Read this Zeenews report. Click to go to and study the $1.5 billion claim of ONGC on Reliance. http://zeenews.india.com/companies/ril-slaps-arbitration-notice-on-govt-over-1-55-bn-demand-minister_1950412.html

Reliance Industries has slapped an arbitration notice on the government over a demand USD 1.55 billion demand made on it for "unfairly enriching" by producing natural gas belonging to ONGC, Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said today.

The oil ministry had on November 3 issued a notice to RIL, Niko and UK's BP plc seeking USD 1.47 billion for producing in the seven years ended March 31, 2016 about 338.332 million British thermal unit of gas that had seeped or migrated from state-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corp's (ONGC) blocks into their adjoining KG-D6 in Bay of Bengal.

After deducting USD 71.71 million royalty paid on the gas produced and adding an interest at the rate of Libor plus 2 per cent, totalling USD 149.86 million, a total demand of USD 1.55 billion was made on RIL, BP and Niko.

ybrao-a-donkey's personal observations which are not intended to be imposed on others:

It is strange that ONGC seems to have signed some contracts with Reliance, agreeing for external international arbitration proceedings. International Arbitration Proceedings and Awards tend to be biased and expensive.

Biased because: Overseas Multinationals, particularly the Euro-American Multinationals adopt unscrupulous methods to get awards in their favour.

Expensive because: International Lawyers charge heavily. All International contracts which Indian Corporates and Public Sector Enterprises should invariably provide for settlement of disputes only through Indian Courts. Now, Shri Mukhesh Ambani and Reliance may want India's PM to extricate them from the entanglement.

PAEANS SUNG BY Shri RATAN TATA, AT VIBRANT GUJARAT

Here is a link to a Youtube Video. click to go to view a Youtube Video which shows Mr. Ratan Tata, singing paeans to Shri Narendra Modi.

What favors Mr. Ratan Tata may want from India's PM, apart from general favors which Corporate Heads expect?

Though it may not be as sky-high as $18 billion which Tatas have to write-down, in losses, as pointed out by Mr. Cyrus Mistry-- the ousted-Chairman of Tata Group, it is not clear, how many billions Tatas may have to write-down. Will SEBI overlook everything, treating international losses as non-sense? Will the Government phew phew the losses, as something which is to be an internal affair of the Tata Group?

806 (Part 1 of two parts 2) Conflicts between English and INdia's Native languages; Crossword Puzzle No. ybcw 006

Mr. Aakar Patel and Mr. Nilanjan Mukhopadhyay are two journalists, who seem to have direct contacts with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Shri Mukhopadhyay wrote a biography of Shri Narendra Modi, titled : "Narendra Modi: The Man". Right now, the book is very popular. We have to wait and see, whether it will stand the test of time. DeccanChronicle.Com has published some of his articles on the rule of Shri Narendra Modi. We shall try to cover some of them, when we get time.

OUR IMMEDIATE TRIGGER

Shri Aakar Patel is another important author, who writes quite often in Deccan Chronicle.com, both electronic edition, and the print edition. On 4th Sept. 2016, we can see an article by him titled: "ENGLISH VS MOTHER-TONGUE A TOUGH QUESTION", just beside the Edit Page in the Print Edition.

Click to go to : http://www.deccanchronicle.com/opinion/op-ed/040916/english-vs-mother-tongue-a-tough-question.html

This article mainly dealt with two things. 1. R.S.S. Gujarat, objecting to English Medium teaching in Gujarat Schools. 2. Lack of interest in students of Madhya Pradesh to join Hindi Medium Engineering Course. Let us see some of his views as published in Deccan Chronicle:--

"...The question “which language India’s children should be schooled in?” is not an easy one to answer. Some years ago, when he was still chief minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi told me what his solution was to this problem, and I will tell you what he said. ..."

"...In Gujarat, the RSS has blocked teaching of English in government schools till Class 5, by when it is too late. Mr Modi’s solution, which he explained to me, was to have some subjects taught in Gujarati and others in English. If I remember it right, he was considering maths and science in English and history and geography in Gujarati. I thought it was an elegant solution though I do not know if he was not ultimately able to implement it, under RSS pressure. ..."

"...The question of language in schooling has been debated from before Independence. Rabindranath Tagore and Gandhi were of the view that schooling should be in the mother tongue. Tagore in particular felt that India’s children would not be able to develop their artistic talent and sensibility if they were schooled in a foreign language. Gandhi had, I think, more patriotic reasons for taking the same line. ..."

"...The second news story connected to this was from Bhopal’s Atal Behari Vajpayee Hindi Vishwavidyalaya. This Hindi-only university is struggling to attract students for its courses. A report said that this was particularly true for the engineering course. The students’ apprehensions were that they would not get jobs with such a degree. And they also were worried about taking a course taught where the engineering terms would be newly-coined Hindi words replacing basic English engineering terms they were already familiar with. Because of this only a dozen students have applied for the 90 seats that are available in Nagar (Civil), Vaidyut (Electrical) and Yantrik (Mechanical) streams this year. ..."

ybrao-a-donkey's humble views:

About the elegant solution suggested by Mr. Narendra Modi (teaching history/geography in Regional language, Mathes and sciences in English)
From 1962-63 to 1966-67, I studied at a "Multipurpose Higher Secondary School" from IX Standard to XII Standard. During the period, I received education in History, Civics, Economics and Geography, through the Medium of Regional Language. Mathes and Sciences were taught in English. As far as Mathes and Sciences were concerned my shifting from Regional Language (VIII std.) to English Medium (IX Std.), though caused some intial problems, ultimately I could adjust to the English Medium, over the period of four years, without any private tuitions in Teachers' Homes. The Mathes, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology learned by me during the period, helped me to understand the growth and progress of knowledge in this world.

Lesson from this experience: Better to start very early in English Medium. As my elementary education was in chaos and a pellmell, I started learning English alphabets only in VI Standard, and learned some basic vocabulary of English in VI-to-VII Standards. Changing the Medium in IX Standard, education during that particular year became a hard task, but there was no alternative.

About Economics, when I joined in B. Com. Course later in an Evening College, I had to start afresh for understanding the Curves and Graphs, Economic Theories from Samuelson Economics, and other Standard Economics Text Books.

Fortunately (in my personal views), the people of Residual Andhra Pradesh have accepted the harsh realities, that English is the only way through which they can communicate with the outside world. Hindi too is important, particularly when a person has to sell some goods and services to North India. In Marketing, using the buyers' language is very important.

Here is our Sixth English CrossWord Puzzle No. ybcw 006. To make the puzzle simpler, as an experiment, we have further reduced, the No. of Cells in the Grid to 9 x 9 letters. This time, after plotting the words in the Cells, we have 12 clues across, and 12 clues down. This setup seems to be neither too light, nor too heavy, to build and study English vocabulary.

541 Why BJP couldn't stomach her coming out and talking out?

Ms. Jashoda Ben is the third Lady of India. (First Lady, President's wife, Second Lady Vice President's Wife, Third Lady Prime Minister's wife). Throughout the world, wives of Prime Ministers get great respect. They accompany their husbands in their foreign visits. Occasionally, they lay foundation stones for some projects / inaugurate some plants. In India Today, even petty film actresses (not petty male actors) inaugurate malls, jewellery shops. But, why the Third Lady of India is neglected? Reasons are not known. Here is a recent news report dated from Telegraphindia.com (The Telegraph newspaper, published from Calcutta), issue dated 12th June 2015 contains a contribution from Shri Basant Rawat, from Ahmedabad, dated line 11th June 2015.

Click to go to Telegraphindia.com/1150612/jsp/nation/story_25267.jsp

Briefly:

1) Namo Sea, a fan club of Shri Narendra Modi arranged a seven day event in Surat. 2) Its second day was June 4. 3) Ms. Jashoda Ben, dharma patni of Shri Narendra Modi was reported to have arrived at the place as a guest at the social awareness event. 4) Surat BJP President and two of its MLAs were said to have asked the organisers to close the event straightaway, five days ahead of the event. 5) BJP National President is said to have rapped the organisers over phone. 6) Ostensible reason for closing the event was, of course, not Ms. Jashoda Ben. But it was use of BJP symbol. The Namo Sena has no official link to BJP.

But the social awareness event was for the support of Centre's Beti Bachao, Beti paDhAo, for girl child's welfare. Till Ms. Jashoda Ben arrived, the event progressed well. Since it was stopped soon after her arrival, the brake seems to be her arrival.

Quote from the Telegraph Report:
Back at the venue, Jashodaben expressed a desire to address the gathering. "But by then we had received the summons and sensed trouble. We dissuaded her and she agreed not to speak," Goswami said.

At Pranesh's office, the organisers "were threatened and pressured into ending the function", Goswami said.

"When we demanded to know the reason, the city BJP chief asked Pathak to talk to Amit Shah over the phone. Shah scolded Pathak and asked him to leave Surat at once. He left for his home in Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh)."

Pranesh refused comment. Surat mayor Niranjan Janjhmera claimed ignorance about the incident, as did almost every city BJP official or MLA this newspaper spoke to.

I am unable to trace this news from any other source on the entire internet, particularly the newspapers, and TV channels from Gujarat. It is not clear why this particular news has been suppressed? Our newspapers and channels allocate great space and time, for Obama and the American First Lady, the Grand son and newly born babe Grand daughter of Queen Elizabeth, the affairs of Mr. Hollande, French President, Imran Khan, Pakisthan's Opposition Leader, so on and so forth. If Salman Khan and Lulia Vantur come closer or move apart, it becomes a great news item for them. But why the Third Lady of India is neglected by the Indian Media? Can't she be allowed to talk in a small social event intended for saving Girl Child in India?

I also greatly appreciate the COURAGE of Mr. Basant Rawat, the news reporter of Telegraph, Calcutta, who sent the report.

Incidentally, I find that it is normally difficult to get email addresses. For those who wish to know the email addresses of journalists in Gujarat, here is a blog link: Click to go to jansatt.wordpress.com.

For those who wish to know the Twitter address of Ms. Jashoda Ben: @benjashoda. But this may (may not) be a genuine Twitter handle of the third Lady of India. More verifications are necessary. Everybody knows the Twitter handle of our beloved Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi @narendramodi.

We get these doubts when we see the methods and styles of working of our beloved Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

Few months back when China's top man came, he was taken to Gujarat, and entertained, felicitated, and pampered on a swing, with an expectation that Chinese investments will flood into Gujarat.  Now, the World Bank representatives, American Secretary of State John Kerry, everybody is being entertained, felicitated and pampered in Gujarat, albeit with a slogan Vibrant Gujarat.   We can understand if Mr. Modi cannot call for a vibrant UP or vibrant Bihar and hold a jamboree in Lucknow or in Patna, because they are opposition ruled States.   But what prevents him from calling for a vibrant Madhya Pradesh, vibrant Rajasthan, vibrant Jharkhand, or a vibrant Maharashtra?

One probable reason may occur to thoughtful minds.  Mr. Modi and his associates are running a third term in Gujarat.  In 2019, anti-incumbency factor may lead to a loss in Gujarat, unless show-piece is erected by that time.  Even Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi did not forget nursing their own constituencies, to get elected even in the direst circumstances.

A Nation and its citizens who refuse to learn from their history are bound to suffer in medium and long term, though they may gain some bucks in medium term.  I am tempted to compare Mr. Manmohan Singh and Mr. Narendra Modi to Jahangir (he permitted British traders to built fort at Surat), and Mr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy and Mr. Chandrababu Naidu to Venkatapati rAyalu 2 (he permitted British traders to built their fort at St. George, Madras).

They say that those who stay in glasshouses should not throw stones at others. This principle applies both to Mr. Kejriwal and the Media.

Question

Why you are you taking troubles to write in three languages, when you know little English and Hindi?

IT Companies are boasting that even those who studied B. Tech and M. Tech do not have adequate English skills and that consequently, they are unable to employ more people (as if they will throw away jobs, if candidates with English skills are available in abundance).

One Seemandhra leader said. '' We could not present our problems and arguments effectively before our leaders at Delhi because we are not proficient in Hindi. Telangana people know Hindi very well. They could quite frequently and effectively present their problems and arguments before High Command and convice them to get what they wanted."

I (ybrao a donkey) understood from the above that all Seemandhra leaders of all parties (not only Congress leaders) need frequent works-out in English and Hindi. I wanted to contribute, according to might.

If we go on writing our agitations in Telugu only, how do people of other States and other countries know?
