Mr. Akar Patel has sufficiently covered the "anti" side of the enforcement of Prohibition.

In my post No. 717, I wrote that Mr. Akar Patel has to do some "para griha pravEsh (literal meaning: enter the houses of others) to realise the intensity of the sufferings of Indian Housewives and mothers, at the hands of their husbands and sons who demand for money to buy liquor, and do not hesitate to kill them, if money is refused, or money could not be produced. Hence, failures or no failures, all the State Governments in India, and the Central Government should make sincere efforts on a war footing to overcome the daemon of Alcoholism.

I have also already mentioned that "Prohibition is not a Brahminic demand". 90% of suffering mothers and wives are not Brahmins ! Though of late, alcoholism is increasing in Brahmins, yet, whatever be the reasons, alcoholism is still RELATIVELY less in Brahmins, particularly the Brahmins of the South India. If prohibition is sabotaged or not enforced strictly, Brahmins will also lose, but they lose less, whereas the sufferings of mothers and housewives of all castes, particularly non-Brahmin castes, do not get ameliorated.

One unfortunate development which I have been noticing of late is, alcoholism has become rampant among professionals such as doctors, lawyers, IAS-IPS Officers, etc., and the so-called intellectuals such as Judges-both of higher and lower judiciary, Professors, College and High School teachers. They are, in fact, supposed to guide the Indian Society. In Telugu language, there is a proverb: "kance yE cEnu mEsina" English "If fence itself feeds on the crop", who will protect the crop?

Mr. Nitish Kumar, does not seem to have done sufficient home work.

Declaring that "Prohibition is introduced in the entire Bihar" and seizing all the liquor bottles in shops in a frenzy, will not serve the cause of Prohibition. A lot of groundwork is to be done.

Example: Prohibition results in loss of employment to workers of distillaries, wineshops and bars. Suddenly all those working at these places will be on the road. Of course, Bihar Government will not have resources to pay compensation or monthly subsistence to these people. Bihar is a cane and sugar producing State. That means we have to show market to the raw spirits and ferments produced in Bihar, for sale outside its boundaries.

One solution:Since, many other States in India, have not yet introduced prohibition, Bihar Govt. can probably permit the distillaries to to produce liquors, with "forward integration", to produce bottled, packed end products, and export to neighboring States, some of which may be experiencing liquor shortages. Though this may sound "unethical" (discouraging local people consuming alcohol, and encourage unfortunate residents of other States to drink more). But, even if the Bihar Government and the distillaries in Bihar desist themselves from doing it, foreign liquor Companies will vigorously market their beers, whiskies, wines, vodkas, ales, runs, gins in the Rest of India.

In other words, till total prohibition is introduced all over India, including ban on import of liquors, Bihar will be justified in exporting liquors made in Bihar to other States.

Bihar Distillaries and wine traders can also be permitted to export liquors to Europe, North and South Americas, South East Asia, above all China with whom we have an adverse Balance of Trade.

In my humble view, future of Bihar will depend on developing their export capabilities, products, and skills, - both to Rest of India, and to International Markets.

Nothing can really be achieved, just by passing some laws, which are loosely enforced.

Trigger 2: Speeches of Mr. Kanhaiya Kumar, JNU Student Leader, blaming "Brahminism" as the root cause for the sufferings of Dalits and Sudras in India, and his repeated claims that he does not want Brahminism.

In any Capitalist Economy, Governance and Society, Prohibition is bound to fail. Mr. Akar Patel has presented several arguments to support the idea of failure of Prohibition in the World, in other States of India, and in Bihar. These things, I shall discuss elaborately and exhaustively in a separate blog post.

On the other hand in a truly COMPLETE SOCIALIST ECONOMY, GOVERNANCE, AND SOCIETY, there will be no need of prohibition.

It has become a fashion for numerous writers to blame Brahminism for the evils of Indian Society. Mr. Akar Patel's article too has a reference to Brahminism.

"...The famous sociologist M.N. Srinivas said prohibition of alcohol was actually a Sanskritic act, like cow slaughter. What he meant was that whatever justification was given, the Indian instinct to ban and prohibit came from a brahminical, upper-caste sensibility. It should therefore not surprise us that the makers of India’s Constitution debated these two issues — beef ban and alcohol prohibition — on the same day, November 24, 1948. I am writing this because another state in India, Bihar, has implemented a ban on all alcohol. Kerala is already going that route, joining Gujarat and a couple of states in the Northeast. ..."

An erroneous exaggerated impression has been created by several journalists, writers, politicians, bureaucrats, everybody, that Brahmins have ruled the roust in India.

Swami Vivekananda too seems to have had this impression. We shall take up his quote also simultaneously. Source for this quote: (Click if you wish to read more.)

"...One cannot but be amazed at the Swami's prophetic intuition as expressed through the following remarks made to Christine in 1896: 'The next upheaval will come from Russia or China. I cannot see clearly which, but it will be either the one or the other.' He further said: 'The world is in the third epoch, under the domination of the vaisya. The fourth epoch will be under that of the sudra.' ".

An explanation was provided as a footnote at the bottom of this quoted page:

Explanation: "...The vaisya, or the merchant, and the sudra, or the worker, represent the third and fourth castes in Hindu society. Swami Vivekananda said that the four castes, by turn, governed human society. The brahmin dominated the thought-current of the world during the glorious days of the ancient Hindu civilization. Then came the rule of the kshattriya, the military as manifested through the supremacy of Europe from the time of the Roman Empire to the middle of the seventeenth century. Next followed the rule of the vaisya, marked by the rise of America. The Swami prophesied the coming supremacy of the sudra class. After the completion of the cycle, he said, the spiritual culture would again assert itself and influence human civilization through the power of the brahmin. Swami Vivekananda often spoke of the future greatness of India as surpassing all her glories of the past. ..."

There is nothing really prophetic in what Swami Vivekananda said. He, in fact, failed to recognise that Upper Sudras have been ruling this country, at grass-root and middle levels, for the last 2000 years.

In the entire history of India, we find only two or three occasions where Brahmins have ruled kingdoms: 1. Brihad ratha, who defeated the last king of the Maurya dynasty. 2. Pishvas of Maharashtra in 17th Century.

Though Indian Epics Mahabharata, Ramayana, puranas (mythological narrations) such as Mahabhagavata, smritis like Manu Smriti contained numerous verses which indicated Brahmin domination, they were rarely implemented except during Mahabharata and Ramayana periods, if at all they contain any elements of valid history (So far no proof of Ramayana and Mahabharata being histories). While Brahmins succeeded in inserting numerous verses which preached favourable treatment and gifts to Brahmins, they were only receiving their livelihood for services such as funerals, weddings, naming ceremonies, housewarming ceremonies, etc. performed by them. This type of services were rendered by Pastors, Bishops, Mullahs, Clerics, in alien religions also.

If we can visualise a society which can dispense with the services of priests / pastors/ mullahs etc., it should all the more be welcome. But that is possible only in a Truly Socialist Society, where 1) the institutions religious priest-pastor-mulah-hood , and their associate ceremonies such as weddings, funeral prayers etc. can be totally abolished. 2) OR, Secular Govt. Officials will perform those functions without introducing the elements of Gods and Prayers.

Vivekananda was under an erroneous impression that Sudras were not ruling the country till now. Ever since the Aryan Kshatriyas died in numerous battles and wars, caused by internecine animosities, invasions by Greeks, Kushanus, Sakas, Huns etc., most of the Kingdoms in India were ruled by Sudras. Maurya dynasty itself was a Sudra dynasty. When Sudras became kings of hundreds of kingdoms of India from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, Afghanistan to Burma, some of them declared themselves to be Kshatriyas (warrior caste). They took help of Brahmins for the purpose. Example: Declaration of Sudra Kings as Agni Kula Kshatriyas, by performance of sacrifices (yagnas) on Aravali Hills of Ajmer.

Brahmins had no alternative left, except to implement the dictates of the New Kings. Brahmins were just servants of the New Sudra Kings. Whatever oppression of the further lower Sudras, and dalits had taken in Indian History, they were at the command of the Sudra Rulers whom we can call "Upper Sudras", while the washermen, barbers, potters, etc. were condemned to be "Lower Sudras". Of course, we can blame the Brahmins for surrendering to the dictates of Sudra Rulers. Then that was a survival need. For that matter, the Army Chieftains and the soldiers of the Sudra Rulers were also Sudras. Under orders of the Upper Sudra Rulers, didn't the Sudra Army Chieftains, Lower Sudra soldiers, exploit and oppress the ruled "Lower Sudras" and Dalits? In other words, whether Sudra or Brahmin or Vysya in the court of the Sudra Kings had their shares of the spoils, from the exploitation of the village Sudras and the exterminated Dalits.

The same structure and system continued in the 20th C. India, and is continuing even in the 21st Century India, in almost all the States.

21st Century Proof. Example from Andhra Pradesh. Without any malice to Upper Sudras, or Lower Sudras of Andhra Pradesh

Without malice to Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu, and his Cabinet Members we shall see the 2016 position: At least 80% of his Cabinet are Sudras. (Notes: Kammas, Reddys, and Kapus are also Sudras. The Chief Minister and the Sudra Ministers will get some ideas in their minds. They call the astrologers and pandits, most of whom are Brahmins. Brahmins are not ministers in the Cabinet. They are not rulers. They know pretty well that unless they become "HMV" (His Master's Voice), they will not get a second call to the Chandra Babu's Court. Recently, one Pravachana Chakravarti (Title: Emperor of Discourses), Upanyasa Chakravarti (Emperor of Discourses), Sarada Gnana Putra (Son of Knowledge of the Goddess of Learning), has been appointed as Adviser to the A.P. Government. This does not mean that the Adviser-Consultant will play a key role in the governance of the State.

The same is the case in Telangana State. Without any malice to the Upper Sudras and Lower Sudras of Telangana:

Mr. K. Chandra Sekhara Rao & his family are Velamas. In Telangana, both the dominant landed castes i.e. Velamas and Sudras are Sudras. Most of his Ministers are Sudras. Mr. KCR also consults Brahmin Gurus and astrologers. But the Brahmin Gurus and the astrologers do not govern Telangana. Their role is just "HMV" and to collect some rewards for becoming "yes-men".

Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are ruled by Sudras, mainly Yadavs who may be classified as Upper Sudras. Most of the UP and Bihar Cabinet Members are Sudras.

At All India level also, similar position exists in Union Cabinet.

About Vivekananda's conception of Vysya (Trader, Business Person caste) Epoch. As per the explanation given in the above website, U.S.A. is taken was a representative of Vysya (Trading Community), by Swami Vivekananda. Swami Vivekananda seems to have forgotten the basic fact that though in Europe, and United States, though Nobility of Birth was partly important, Caste was not important. For example, Queen Elizabeth I of Great Britain depended for her Treasures on colonial slave traders, pirates, for her income.

As a self-declared Advaita Vedanta monk, Swami Vivekananda ought to have stopped thinking on caste lines. When Adi Shankara was going to bathe in Ganga River, one cobbler encountered him. Adi Shankara asked him to give way, by moving aside. The cobbler asked him "Should the body move aside, or the Soul move aside?". Thus Vedantic monks are not expected to think on caste lines, just as Communists-Marxists-True Socialists-atheists are not expected to think on caste lines.

Seeking introduction of prohibition cannot be taken as a Brahminic idea, though in some Regions of India, Brahmins do not consume alcohol and meat. Anyway, when Sudras are ruling India and its 29 States, how can Brahmins dictate terms?

If Mr. Akar Patel really wants to know the exact place where the demand for PROHIBITION is coming, he should do some "para griha pravEsh" (Enter homes of others. This word has been coined by ybrao-a-donkey, on lines similar to "para kAya pravEsh (entering into another's body)".). Every alternate Home in India he can visit, to find out how mothers are harassed by sons demanding money to buy liquor, and to look at housewives and children being beaten by alcoholic husbands, demanding money for liquor. It is the women at home, who are the worst sufferers at the hands of the Liquor Trading Governments and Contractors.

Back to Vivekananda: Though "Financial Invasions" by "Financial Powers" have partly replaced the "Military Invasions" by "Military Powers", there is a synergic mutual interdependence between them. Thus, to use Vivekananda's language, though "Sudras" have become rulers, they depend for their survival on "Vysyas (Meaning:Corporates)" for election funds. The Sudra rulers after getting elected as Presidents and Prime Ministers with "Vysya support" , when they visit abroad, the Sudra Rulers take large representation Groups of "Vysyas" for Business Promotion i.e. to sell aircraft, guns, radars, drones, what not! This is what is called "Crony Capitalism". The "third epoch" has not ended. The third and fourth epoch-es are jointly ruling the World.

Shri N. Ramana Rao, an employee of B.S.N.L., in Hyderabad, is reported to have counselled Mr. Y. Jaganmohan Reddy that he would become Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh within three years. This gentleman also claimed credit for predicting that Barack Obama would win his 2008 and 2013 outings to the White House. This pandit also claimed that he just magnified the palm of Obama from his photos. Shri Ramana Rao also claimed to have predicted the ascendence of Shri Pranab Mukherjee to the Presidential Throne of India.

ybrao-a-donkey's personal opinion: If Late Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, had avoided the helicopter journey and saved himself from the accident as forewarned by Mr. Ramana Rao, Mr. YSR would have made another Rs. 100,000 crore (Rs. 1 trillion) for his son Jagan. That way, Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy is a loser, and the States of Telangana and Residual Andhra Pradesh were gainers of Rs. 1 trillion.

According to Hindu scriptures, what is destined for a person cannot be stopped by fore-warnings. Forewarnings cannot prevent the Non-Existing God's decisions. Proof: Scripture: Maha Bhagavata of Sage Vyasa. Story of Emperor Parikshit, Son of Abhimanyu. A Sage cursed King Parikshit that he would die in 7 days by a snake bite. Parikshit built an in-penetratable impregnable tall tower and insulated himself from all sides with no windows and ventilators. The snake which was to bite him as per Sage's curse had hidden itself in a micro-sized form in a fruit. A Sage, visited the insulated tower of Parikshit, and unknowingly gifted him the particular fruit in which the killer-snake was hiding. Unsuspectingly, Parikshit opened the fruit and was instantaneously bit by the snake and killed. The saving grace for Parikshit was, he attained Liberation from the Cycle of Births and Deaths (mOksha- a Hindu belief), because he was, all the seven days listening to the Stories of Lord Vishnu, narrated by Sage Suka. This is the important theme of one of the Trinity of the Hindu Scriptures, Mahabhagavatam.

Late Mr. Raja Sekhara Reddy was a devotee of Jerusalem God (if Yehova is not different from VishNu, as believed by aliens, because the general belief among lay persons and clerics, is-- "Different Gods exist for different Religions", and it is the reason for Conversions indulged in by Christian Missionaries in India with Foreign Funds. Otherwise, there should be no need to convert people in the name of running Schools and Hospitals.), and his wife and daughter Sharmila also carry Bible with great conviction. However, Mr. Rajasekhara Reddy visited the prayer houses of all Religions. Then we should say that Lord Yehova or VishNU might have saved Mr. Rajasekhara Reddy, from the sins of accumulating another Rs. 1 trillion, for giving Jagan, Bharati, and their Offsprings, through the Quid pro Quo administrative techniques.

Mr. Nitish Kumar, the 2016 Chief Minister of Bihar, in his election Campaigns, mocked at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on 2nd Nov. 2015.

"... I met an aughad (occultist) without hiding from anybody in daylight... But news reports showed Narendra Modi allegedly meeting astrologer Bejan Daruwala. You are talking a lot about jantar-mantar against me, but what about meeting astrologer Bejan Daruwala? Isn’t it an example of double standards?..."

While Mr. Narendra Modi criticised promptly criticised Nitish Kumar for meeting an occultist, our beloved PM has not bothered to reply the allegation made by Nitish Kumar about Mr. Modi's meeting the astrologer Bejan Daruwala, and the claim made by Mr. Bejan Daruwala, that Mr. Modi showed him (Daruwala) his (Modi's) palm. When was it? What did Daruwala predict? Mr. Nitish Kumar is not an ordinary person among the 1.3 billion Indians. LIke Arvind Kejriwal, Mr. Nitish Kumar may be coming into the dreams of Mr. Narendra Modi.

Mr. Nara Chandra Babu Naidu like his Senior Crony Capitalist Chum Hon. Prime MInister Shri Narendra Modi, is a great show master. As a part of the 146th birth anniversary of Freedom Fighter and Martyr Shri Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi , Mr. Naidu swept at Main Centres of Guntur and Vijayawada Cities in the Residual Andhra Pradesh State of India. He should have swept the Labor Welfare Centre's Building and its 12 acre premises at Kakumanuvari Thota, Near Arundelpet Shankar Vilas Centre, Guntur. Question: Why have you raised the issue of cleaning the Labor Welfare Centre at Kakumanuvari Thota, near Bongarala Bidu, Guntur, now after everything is finalised by Mr. Babu?

Ans: Municipal Workers, to their best of their abilities, clean the Jinnah Tower Centre, Guntur every day. What is the use of sweeping the same thing again and again? GMC Sanitary Staff has poured quintal of Bleaching Powder on the Donka Road (This road connects Guntur City Bus Station with the road which proceeds to Amaravati and Tadikonda , in other words the New Capital Area. Apart from the tokenism of Gandhi's Birthday, Mr. Naidu's visit might have prompted the authorities to close all the belt shops and wineshops on Donka Road (of course for the morning session of the day).

Then, there is another Achilles heel of Donka Road, between 4th and 5th lines of Arundelpet, where the Municipal drainage canal flows in the middle of the Road. The ostensible reason for the flow of the drainage channel in the middle of the road, seems to be a stay brought by an adjacent householder on the Donka Road, whose house might have been about 11 ft. demolished by GMC as a part of road widening. He seems to have raised some genuine grievance about the alignment of the Road between the Donka Road Railway Underbridge and the 5th line Arundelpet.

The alignment drawn by GMC seems to have virtually left out some houses on the South facing side under pressure from some influential persons. There seems to be a need to reopen the alignment and work out a fresh widening line, for which the GMC Officials seem to be reluctant. Whatever be the reason, whoever be at fault, thousands of people using the Donka Road heavy traffic are suffering owing to the flow of drainage canal in the middle of the road between 4th and 5th Lines. Nobody knows the efforts made by the GMC to get the court stay vacated. or some other compromise solution worked out by GMC, to alleviate the sufferings of thousands of people.

As a precautionary measure, the GMC Sanitary Staff seem to have poured one month quota of the bleaching powder consumption, on the 1st and 2nd days of OCTOBER itself. The remaining month, probably they may not drop even a spoon of bleaching powder.

Some people might have expected that Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu would visit the Donka Road area. This ybrao-a-donkey's wishful thinking was that Officials would dare to tell Mr. Naidu that there is a 12 acre site available at Labor Welfare Centre, Kakumanu vari Thota, which can be acquired from the Labor Welfare Department paying them some decent compensation, and allotting a smaller site (the building may need just about 500 sq.yds.) in an industrial area, and permitting them to use the millions of Rupees compensation which will be paid by the Govt. for the intended purpose of Labor Welfare.

The Centre is just a stone's throw away from the Guntur Main Railway Station and 10 minutes walk from it. The 12 acre site is also proximate to New Guntur Railway Station which links Guntur with Tenali and the Chennai-Calcutta Main Railway line. This type of proximity both to New Guntur, Guntur Main and Mangalagiri are very important for saving transport costs. On the 12 acre site, a 14 floor Building can be raised within six months, like the 14 floor LIC Building on Anna Road, Chennai. It would have provided a reasonably decent accommodation for the Secretariat of the Residual A.P. Over a long period of time, millions of Rupees could have been saved on motor transport rents, fuel, owing to proximity to the Rlwy. Station.

Mr. Naidu is hell-bent upon handing over thousands of acres obtained from Capital Area farmers with threats of impending land acquisition, on a gold platter to Singapore Government, which is a mask (mukhOTa ముసుగు) to some Private Sector fellow. Swami Vivekananda used to blame "karma" whenever somebody blamed. Apart from Mr. Naidu's itch of love towards Singapore, there is another hitch in locating some important Offices of A.P. State Government at this 12 acre site. Its East road faces the rear side of Bongarala Bidu Mahaprasthanam (grave). Astrologers would have definitely raised an objection. But the grave has been there for the last about 100 years, and is very convenient for the population of Guntur City. బాబుగారి ఒప్పుకున్నా ఆయనగారి జ్యోతిష్కులు ఒప్పుకోరు. అయ్యగారి జ్యోతిష్కులు ఒప్పుకున్నా రైవల్ జ్యోతిష్కులు తీవ్రంగా దుయ్యబడతారు.

Earlier I did not write about this Labor Welfare Centre Building and its 12 acre site, because it is near my house, and location of a sky scraper at that site might have resulted in a Real Estate Boom in our area. At least some of my readers might have suspected that I have proposed the Labor Welfare Centre because of my selfishness. Actually, there is already a Real Estate Boom in our Area, and prices of house sites have skyrocketed in Arundelpet Area, like other areas of Guntur City.

The Rs. 350 crore (Rs. 3.5 billion) SAID TO HAVE BEEN released by the Govt. of INdia would have been sufficient to raise a 14 story building in the 12 acre Labor Welfare Centre Site, within six months. కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం విడుదల చేసింది అని చెప్ప బడుతున్న రూ. ౩౫౦ 350 కోట్లతో, ఆరునెలలలో, ఈ ౧౨ 12 ఎకరాల స్థలంలో ౧౪ 14 అంతస్తుల భవనాన్ని తేలికగా నిర్మించవచ్చు.

If A.P. High Court and Raj Bhavan are established at Tirupati (Governors and Supreme Court Judges, High Court Judges love Tirupati), it would have save millions of Rupees. Establishing A.P. Assembly and Council at Kurnool would have reduced some dis-satisfaction in the minds of Rayala Seema People. Shifting some State Level Offices to Visakhapatnam, RAjahmundry-Kakinada, Tadepalligudem, ONgole would have created some level playing ground for all the District towns/cities. It would have probably assuaged the feelings of some leaders like T.G. Venkatesh, Baireddy Rajasekhara Reddy, Shri Divakar REddy, Shri Raghuveera Reddy, Shri K.E. Krishna Murthy.

This type of 12 acre sites may also be available in other District Headquarter Towns of Residual Andhra Pradesh, where some high-level buildings can be raised every year, with Central help, but WITHOUT KNEELING BEFORE SINGAPORE OR JAPAN. ఇలాంటి ౧౨ 12 ఎకరాల ప్రభఉత్వ స్థలాలు మన రాష్ట్రంలో అన్ని జిల్లా కేంద్రాలలో దొరుకుతాయి. ఏటా ఒక భవనం చొప్పున నిర్మించుకున్నా వికేంద్రీకరణ విజయవంతం అవుతుంది.

SINGAPORE LIKE CITY even if it becomes a reality in Residual AP Capital Region, it will not really benefit the Lower Middle Class and the Working Class people of A.P. First of all Mr. Narendra Modi should release the Rs. 125,000 crore (Rs. 1.25 tillion or about $200 billion). My intuition says that he will not release, even if BJP wins in Bihar.

One solution
Mr. Modi should release the Rs. 125,000 package to Bihar now itself. After all why should Nitish Kumar & Lalu Prasad Yadav become Sukracharyas, as if Mr. Modi were Emperor Bali throwing away three yards of land sought by God VAmana? The should have the courage and moral conviction to say "Ok. We welcome the Rs. 1.25 trillion, if Mr. Modi releases the funds IMMEDIATELY. After all, Bihar will benefit. As a token of our gratitude to Mr. Modi, we shall withdraw all our candidates in the fray, to enable BJP form a Govt. in Bihar. We shall limit our role to watch and ensure that the new BJP leaders will not create new scams out of the Rs. 1.25 trillion. "
