669 Part 1, A comparison of American Elections and Indian Elections

American Presidential Candidature aspirants of both the principal parties i.e. Democratic and Republican Parties, have to mobilise millions of dollars for their Campaigns. While Donald Trump the apparent Winning Horse of the Republican Party, himself being a billionnaire estimated to have a networth of $5 billion to $10 billion, may not face a problem of fund-crunch. Ms. Hillary Clinton, the former First Lady of U.S., and the former Secretary of State, seems to have close connections with Wall Street, and hence she may not find funds for Campaigning a problem. But, ordinarily, this should not be the case for her principal Competitor Mr. Bernie Sanders.

Prima facie, Mr. Bernie Sanders appears to be a millionnaire, which means he can be anywhere between $1 million to $999.99 million. A $1 million person is a millionnaire. A $999.99 person is a millionnaire. Is there no difference? There is a near thousand-fold difference.

Of course, whether it is in U.S.A., or in India, or probably anywhere else in the world, no politician worth his salt, will spend in Elections from his pockets. Only fools will do. Hence, Dollars mobilised through Fund Mobilisation Drives, will play a key role. Then, automatically, there will be a problem of what is disclosed , and what is not disclosed.

More than 3/4ths of Mr. Bernie Sanders Campaign funds were said to have been mobilised from small donors, giving less than $200 each. There is also another claim, that most of his Campaign donations are of less than $50 per head. This information is not convincing.

In India also, Political Parties claim, mobilising bulk of their Election Funds from small donors of less than Rs. 20,000 each ($300 approx.), as it is legally mandatory to disclose names of donors, where individual donations are > Rs. 20,000/-.

We can only say "American Hypocracies and Indian Hypocracies are like twins".

Some of the questions, which I shall try to answer in a bunch of about 10 next blog posts.

Question 1: Are American Elections relevant to Indian Democracy (largest in the World in terms of number of voters)?

Answer: American Elections, definitely are relevant to INdia, because, India no longer looks to U.K., as guide for Indian Democracy, though India is still following the system of British Model of Parliamentary Democracy. Dream of every professionally educated Indian Youth is, to make it to U.S.A. whether direct, or through any other means. Whichever such Indian goes to U.S. never comes back. On the other hand he-she will start pontificating to India, how Indians should behave and conduct themselves. NRIs vie with one another for getting US Citizenships. Once they become US Citizens (Govt. of India calls these people PIOs (Persons of Indian Origin), and showers them great honors and praises. In their turn, the PIOs try to capture some prestigious assignments from the American Presidents, a share of the spoils. Recently, it appears that donations from US-based NRIs and PIOs started contributing greatly to the Election Campaigns of various Indian Political Parties.

Indian Students, unemployed persons, I.T. Companies, Govt. of India, State Govts., everybody has some sort of craze for the WHITE-HOUSE, and its occupant.

Rise of Barack Obama, raised the expectations of the Indians during the last nine years, but nothing real or substantial, helpful to India took place. Nor did U.S., apparently benefited much from the election of Mr. Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of India.

A NOTE ON ROLE OF MONEY and NEED FOR MONEY

Both United States and India are geographically vast countries, though U.S. is far larger geographically than India. But then, the number of voters to be contacted in India are many times higher than the number of voters in U.S. Consequently, the financial burden which falls on aspirants will be nearly equal.

In United States, the system of Parties deciding their Presidential Candidates through some democratic method, needs to be emulated in India. In India, there is no democratic method for parties to select their "Prime Ministerial" Candidates by conducting polls from Lok Sabha Constituency Level. Though, theoretically, after the announcement of Election Results, Members of Parliament belonging to the Majority Party (or the single largest party) are supposed to elect their leader who will approach the President of India for forming a Government, it has become a ritual for dynastic politics.

Though BJP does not ostensibly profess dynastic politics, yet it has no bottom-to-top democratic method of electing a Prime Ministerial Candidate for the Party. The method followed by BJP in 2014 General Elections is a sort of coterie (grupo / circulo social), for pre-announcing of Mr. Narendra Modi as PM Candidate, and definitely not a democratic method.

Both in US, as well as in India, much money is required for organising Rallies and Road Shows, Chartered Aircraft, Cutouts and Flexies etc. etc. Need for money leads to dependence on Business Empires and Industrialists for secret donations. Theoretically, industrialists do not and will not like to fund Campaigns of Communists and True Socialists, unless an assurance is given to them that if elected, Communist MPs will also work to promote donor interests.

Like the Parties in US, the Parties in India also preach a lot and violate a lot. For example, AAP Leader, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal raised some hopes after his phoenix-like revival-resurrection in Delhi Assembly Elections. He proved to be a concealed dictator, like a wolf in a goat's skin. For example, AAP Government seems to be paying large amounts for publication of Special Supplements in South Indian Newspapers, to advertise their achievements in ruling Delhi. It is nothing but waste of money belonging to THE CITIZENS OF DELHI. What is the advertising budget of AAP Government in Delhi? Rs. 526 crore (about $90 million!). The hidden Agenda in this is: AAP wants to expand into South India.

A lot to write more.

653 Part 1 of, Is India (of course Telangana and Residual Andhra Pradesh) ruled by astrologers?

Shri N. Ramana Rao, an employee of B.S.N.L., in Hyderabad, is reported to have counselled Mr. Y. Jaganmohan Reddy that he would become Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh within three years. This gentleman also claimed credit for predicting that Barack Obama would win his 2008 and 2013 outings to the White House. This pandit also claimed that he just magnified the palm of Obama from his photos. Shri Ramana Rao also claimed to have predicted the ascendence of Shri Pranab Mukherjee to the Presidential Throne of India.

The following web page shows some of the claims and predictions of Shri Ramana Rao. For those who wish to study them, here is the link to click: Click to go to NRItoday.net, page 1103.

This web page quotes an averment of Shri Ramana Rao:
I do not charge a penny for these predictions and seek no favors from politicians who flock to my house. I want to use the powers for the good of the people and also forewarn those who come in the wheel of bad luck. If YSR had avoided the helicopter journey he would have survived and done a lot of good for the state. His son Jagan Mohan Reddy consults me after this unfortunate incident and he has the potential to rule the state with a thumping majority,

Telugu Language: "... ..."

ybrao-a-donkey's personal opinion: If Late Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, had avoided the helicopter journey and saved himself from the accident as forewarned by Mr. Ramana Rao, Mr. YSR would have made another Rs. 100,000 crore (Rs. 1 trillion) for his son Jagan. That way, Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy is a loser, and the States of Telangana and Residual Andhra Pradesh were gainers of Rs. 1 trillion.

According to Hindu scriptures, what is destined for a person cannot be stopped by fore-warnings. Forewarnings cannot prevent the Non-Existing God's decisions. Proof: Scripture: Maha Bhagavata of Sage Vyasa. Story of Emperor Parikshit, Son of Abhimanyu. A Sage cursed King Parikshit that he would die in 7 days by a snake bite. Parikshit built an in-penetratable impregnable tall tower and insulated himself from all sides with no windows and ventilators. The snake which was to bite him as per Sage's curse had hidden itself in a micro-sized form in a fruit. A Sage, visited the insulated tower of Parikshit, and unknowingly gifted him the particular fruit in which the killer-snake was hiding. Unsuspectingly, Parikshit opened the fruit and was instantaneously bit by the snake and killed. The saving grace for Parikshit was, he attained Liberation from the Cycle of Births and Deaths (mOksha- a Hindu belief), because he was, all the seven days listening to the Stories of Lord Vishnu, narrated by Sage Suka. This is the important theme of one of the Trinity of the Hindu Scriptures, Mahabhagavatam.

Late Mr. Raja Sekhara Reddy was a devotee of Jerusalem God (if Yehova is not different from VishNu, as believed by aliens, because the general belief among lay persons and clerics, is-- "Different Gods exist for different Religions", and it is the reason for Conversions indulged in by Christian Missionaries in India with Foreign Funds. Otherwise, there should be no need to convert people in the name of running Schools and Hospitals.), and his wife and daughter Sharmila also carry Bible with great conviction. However, Mr. Rajasekhara Reddy visited the prayer houses of all Religions. Then we should say that Lord Yehova or VishNU might have saved Mr. Rajasekhara Reddy, from the sins of accumulating another Rs. 1 trillion, for giving Jagan, Bharati, and their Offsprings, through the Quid pro Quo administrative techniques.

This NRItoday.net web page has given the website address of Shri Ramana Rao. But, it is not a link. According to this Webpage, Shri Ramana Rao does not charge anything for his Services. He is doing Service to the Society. Welcome. Why should we find fault?

Click to go to Fateinface.com, the website of Shri Ramana Rao.

By error, I typed facetoface.com in the address box and collided into a hardporn page whose trademark is "FACEtoFACE where couples meet", which claims to have complied with some American Regulation "...18 U.S.C. 2257 Record-Keeping Requirements Compliance Statement...".

ybrao-a-donkey is neither a porno lover or a porno hater. Porno is omnipresent, omniscient, like the God. Once we go for browsing, whether we like it or not, whether we search for them or not, pornos will squeeze us through. We are not Rishya Sringas. Nor do we wear Chastity Belts. English equivalent: Won't those Sages who wear iron chastity belts, become prisoners in the houses of lotus-eyed damsels?). But, there seems to be no gender-equality at this site. Why only female images? And not male images? Anyway, this subject of "Porno analyses" for Indians (including ybrao-a-donkey), will need a thousand pages. This is not the right place. We shall take up separately.

Sorry for the deviation. Back to our BSNL Astrologer.

Typing the correct web address, we, shall now be, at the Fateinface.com. Its home page has some photo of Shri Ramana Rao with Indian Celebrities.

1. Shri Ramana Rao, with our BJP Bhishma on ampa Sayya (bed of arrows on which Bhishma lied down upon, awaiting Northern Solstice and makara sankramaNam (Sun's entry into Capricorn), i.e. our Lal Krishna Advaniji.

ybrao-a-donkey's observation: It is not clear when they met, i.e. before Shri Modi Mahoday ditched Advani and Murali Manohar Joshiji, or after the sabotage? What did Shri Ramana Rao predict for Advani? Did it come true?

Then, there is a photo of Shri Ramana Rao with Shri Raman Singh, Chief Minister of Chattisgadh. What did our astrologer predicted for him?

Another photo with Shri Abhishekh Singh, M.P. Rajnandagaon.

Another photo with Mr. Sandeep Marwah - President of the World Peace Development and Research Foundation. New Delhi, Noida.

A photo with Shri Deve Gowda, Former Prime Minister of India.

A scan of a journal titled "Country & Politics", with the note: Deciphering the future With the blessings of Mahaavtar Babaji.

Now, we shall go to Shri Mahaavtar Babaji.

Here is the Wikipaedia link: Click to go to Wikipaedia.org/wiki/Mahavatar_babaji. . According to Wikipaedia's entry, MahAvtAr bAbAji was born in 203 CE (slightly earlier than the Sangam literature period in Tamil Nadu's parangipettai.). His original name was said to be NAgarAjan. There are some references to Paramahamsa YOgAnanda, and his Work "Autobiography of a Yogi".

Mr. Nitish Kumar, the 2016 Chief Minister of Bihar, in his election Campaigns, mocked at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on 2nd Nov. 2015.
"... I met an aughad (occultist) without hiding from anybody in daylight... But news reports showed Narendra Modi allegedly meeting astrologer Bejan Daruwala. You are talking a lot about jantar-mantar against me, but what about meeting astrologer Bejan Daruwala? Isn’t it an example of double standards?..."

While Mr. Narendra Modi criticised promptly criticised Nitish Kumar for meeting an occultist, our beloved PM has not bothered to reply the allegation made by Nitish Kumar about Mr. Modi's meeting the astrologer Bejan Daruwala, and the claim made by Mr. Bejan Daruwala, that Mr. Modi showed him (Daruwala) his (Modi's) palm. When was it? What did Daruwala predict? Mr. Nitish Kumar is not an ordinary person among the 1.3 billion Indians. LIke Arvind Kejriwal, Mr. Nitish Kumar may be coming into the dreams of Mr. Narendra Modi.

Here is one interesting website which dealt with the obsessions of Indian Prime Ministers with astrologers and tantriks. It also contains a quote from Nehruji's letter to Indira Gandhi, advising her to get Rajiv Gandhi's horoscope drawn by a capable astrologer. Here is the link and the quote.

Click to go to ibtimes.co.in/veru-superstitious... .

Here is the quote from the above website, about Jawaharlal Nehru's advice to Late Indira Gandhi.
"...Even a hardboiled 'modernist' like the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru, had his moment of weakness. He "hated many of the things which most Hindus hold dear—cow worship, subordinate status for women, temples, sadhus, astrology and caste." But in 'Nehru's Letters to His Sister', edited by Krishna Hutheesing, letter numbered 74, written on 29.8.1944 has Nehru advising his daughter Indira to cast a "proper horoscope" of his grandson (Rajiv) by 'a competent person'!..."

My sincere thanks to Mr. A V Varghese , Senior Journalist at the above website for this important piece of information.

ybrao-a-donkey's humble comments. You have every right to differ with me. Does Shri Ramana Rao know his future?

Going to browsing or Googling, can be compared to Prince (Gautama Buddha) Siddhardha's experience, when he ventured into Streets of Kapilavastu, to know the world. Then he saw some aged person, some sick person, some corpse etc. etc. This story everybody knows.

To continue.
