1134 MCQ Tests, Current Affairs, Bourgeoisie Party Compulsions

TODAY'S headlines: :

■ INFOSYS IS A PART OF THE ROTTEN INDIAN CORPORATE SYSTEM ♞:

▲1. Reports about Class Action Suits being filed against Infosys, only reflect what happens in Indian Corporate Culture. Satyam Computers scandal which came out in 2009 was only a Tip of the Iceberg beneath the placid looking Indian Corporate World. ▼
▲2. Frauds are systemic in Indian Corporate World. There is no use of blaming only Infosys.▼
▲3. Fudging of Accounts is quite common in Indian Corporates, both Indian Private Sector and Public Sector. Prior to emergence of SEBI as Controller, anybody could cheat Indian Investors and Institutional Lenders at will. Not much skills and Public Relations were required earlier. Now more skills and PR work is needed. ▼
▲4. Indian Chartered Accountants, Chartered Accountant Firms and Companies, and their Apex body THE INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS OF INDIA- set up by Act of Parliament, have all failed in maintaining their professional values and the concomitant honors. ▼
▲5. In the humble view of this ybrao-a-donkey, "Earning one's livelihood, personal wealth through a Profession which requires high levels of moral turpitude and courage" and "Maintenance of Self-Respect, Professional Ethics" are mutually exclusive. If the Chartered Accountants are to earn their livelihood, buy homes and commercial complexes, accumulate gold, make their children greater moolah-makers than themselves, then they have to satisfy their bosses who are none but Corporate Promoters, Directors, CEOs and CFOs. ▼
✔The rot in Indian Corporate P&L Accounts and Balance Sheets is a theme for a hundred-thousand-page tome. Shall write some other day.♝

WHY DID BJP SO EASILY SURRENDER TO JJP IN HARIYANA, AND WHY THERE IS A TUG OF WAR BETWEEN BJP AND SHIV SENA IN MAHARASHTRA?

:
▲1. In Hariyana, BJP needs support of 6 MLAs to cross the magic figure. Eight indepedents have won, in the 2019 Haryana Elections, including Shri Gopal Kanda, Former Congress Minister, and lone member of Haryana LokHit party. If BJP is to capture the support of the all the eight Independents, it has to invite even Mr. Gopal Kanda, who is accused of rape cases, and instigation of suicide. Shri Modi, Shri Amit Shah, and Shri ML Khattar might not have any objection to invite Shri Kanda. Oddly, Ms. Uma Bharti, Former Union Minister raised a "moral" finger. ▼
▲2. BJP might have found it more convenient to take the support of JJP founded by Mr. Dushyant Chautala, which secured 10 members in its maiden attempt. ▼
▲3. if BJP does not form Government by hook or crook, BJP MLAs may not hesitate to look for greener pastures. Support will not come without a Price. The Price which BJP has to pay is offering Deputy Chief Ministership to Dushyant Chautala. ▼
▲4. BJP went down from 122 seats in 2014 to 105 seats in 2019. In Maharashtra, BJP has 105 seats and Shiv Sena Party has 56. Shiv Sena wants 50-50% Power Sharing. It wants change of Chief Ministership after 2.5 years midstream. Mr. Aditya Thakre s/o Mr. Uddhav Thakre is to be annointed as Chief Minister, after 2.5 years. ▼
▲5. In bourgeoisie Capitalistic Politics, every Political Party has to show Income Avenues to its MLAs. This is not possible by extending support from outside, or by sitting in Opposition. Besides, BJP is hell-bent-upon decimating all the Regional Parties, and the Indian National Congress. Only by capturing Power, a Party can satisfy all its MLAs. Otherwise, MLAs will jump into the Ruling Party. It is happening in every State. (9as)▼

CHANDRAYAN-2, no need to worry about partial failure of Chandrayan-2

:

♛Not receiving signals, as per news reports, may be owing to engulfing of the Vikram and Pragnan by dust, and once the dust things down, we may get signals.
♛Even if landing on moon is a failure, it is only a temporary set back. In Chandrayan-3, we can trace out errors, correct them, and succeed in full.
♛Landing on moon is not our priority. It may be a priority for vote catching,vote-hunting politicians.
♛Today, tribals are carrying pregnant women and sick persons on doli like structures for 15 to 30 kms. to reach hospitals. This is really abominable for a $5 trillion Economy. (99824)

OUTDATED JAIL RULES?

:

♛Mr. P. Chidambaram, Former Finance Minister was sent to Judicial Remand at Tihar Jail, New Delhi, on 6.9.2019.
♛What appeared strange for me is: He has applied Court's permission for taking his spectacles into Jail. It is not clear whether Court has granted it or not. Probably, the Court might have granted it.
♛In my personal humble view, Spectacles form an integral part of a person's life, probably as important as wife and children. By requiring to part with spectacles before entering into jail life, the Jail rules appear to be violating human rights of prisoners, particularly under-trial-prisoners.
♛Jail Manuals may have to be rewritten, to make them more humane, irrespective of whether the prisoner is Former Finance Minister or an Auto Driver.
♛The question of which medicines are to be allowed to be carried by the under-trial-prisoner into his jail, and which are not to be carried, can be decided by the Jail doctor, who pre-examines him before entering the jail. Requiring court's permission for carrying medicines seems to me to be wasting Court's time. (99622)

FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT, does liberalising FDI revive Growth in India?

:

♛It must be a matter of extreme regret that even after 71 years of Independence, India is begging for Foreign Investments to promote its Economic Growth.
♛Growth can also be promoted through domestic private investments. Many Industrial Houses like Tatas are investing abroad. Why they are limping in investing in India?
♛India's domestic Industrialists are not invested in Manufacturing. They want easy profits.
♛Government of India can also do some Keynesian Pump-priming, so that Investment and Income Multipliers work.
♛Increase in productive expenditure by GOVERNMENT OF INDIA can also facilitate Income and Investment Multipliers because, Productive Expenditure raises demand for Tangible goods, apart from increasing Factor Incomes. (99618).

LEGAL BATTLES, COSTS: who will bear for ordinary Congress Workers?

:

♛Justifiably or unjustiably, the ED and CBI have arrested many top Congress Leaders for their Economic Offenses.
♛The Top Congress Leaders like Mr. P. Chidambaram, Mr. Karty Chidambaram are defended by legal Stalwarts like Messrs. Kapil Sibal, Abhishek Singhwi, who normally charge some hundreds of thousands of bucks for their appearances. They may be defending the Top Congress Leaders at concessional rates or freely, only the Defender and the Defended know.
♛Some Congress Workers are raising Street demonstrations and raising slogans against the Govt. If the Govt. arrests and foists cases on them, who will defend them? At what fees?
♛Definitely Stalwart Lawyers like Mr. Sibal, Mr. Singhwi will not defend them, because the business is small for their level.
♛Party workers of all parties beware! (99826)

953 Some Musings on Farmer Suicides, Alcohol for Poor, Alcohol for Celebrities

The allegation and observation made by Bachu Kadu alias Shri Omprakash Baba Rao Kadu, Independent MLA from Achalapur, Maharashtra, needs deeper analysis and understanding. Unbiased writing on this subject is difficult, as the current environment is highly vitiated, and yet an attempt is worth trying. To start with: Mentioning names of individuals may be dangerous, especially when negative comments are made. Such unintended errors can land the talkers/writers into libel / defamation litigations. It appears that Shri Omprakash Baba Rao Kadu has withdrawn/modified his comment about Ms. Hema Malini's drinking. It is good, to safeguard his own interest, if we see the experience of Mr. Arun Kejriwal, Delhi Chief Minister, who is facing Rs. 100 million defamation case from Shri Arun Jaitley, India's Finance Minister. Even when a person speaks truth, some times it may be difficult for a person to produce evidence in a court of law to produce what he says / writes. This is because those who indulge in things may not do them by standing before a video camera, or by distributing printed pamphlets. A comment may sometime become dry and 'juiceless' when it is not given by a solid example. Hence, whether lawyers or not, talkers / writers / journalists / film artists have to spend long hours and do a lot of home work of collecting evidence to prove what they say / write, when a need arises.

To start with, here are links for the news links about what Shri Omprakash Baba Rao is reported to have said: Click here to go to http://www.rediff.com/news/report/hema-malini-drinks-daily-maharashtra-mlas-bizarre-take-on-farmer-suicides/20170414.htm.

Kadu made the remark while speaking about farmers' plight at an event in Nanded district of Marathwada.

Congress leader Narayan Rane had recently termed drinking as one of the reasons for farmers' suicide, while Union Minister Nitin Gadkari had said excessive spending by farmers on son's or daughter's marriage leads to indebtedness in some cases.

Trying to rebut this perception, Kadu said, "75 per cent of MLAs, MPs, journalists drink... even Hema Malini drinks heavily... but have they committed suicide?

"Rs 4 crore were spent on the marriage of Gadkari's son, should we now wait for him to commit suicide?" he said.

As the comment drew sharp reactions, Kadu tried to defend himself. He was talking about Hema Malini's drinking "in films and not in her personal life," he said, speaking to reporters at Osmanabad on Friday.

ybdonkey's personal views which are not intended to be imposed on others

In India, millions of people take film actors and heroines as roll-models, and try to ape their screen life-styles, in real lives of citizens. It is a very dangerous trait. Everyone of us has to help others to get out of this dangerous weakness.

Why seggregate and single out 75% of MLAs, MPs, journalists, and of course Ms. Hema Malini whose habits we do not know / cannot prove? 75% of Indian male adults seem not only to drink alcohol, but also appear to be raising their 'litres / pints / bottle sizes' month by month, and year by year. We are going to enter the 'buckets / tubs / barrels / water tanks' era. By water tanks era, I mean, instead of drinking water which our Governments and Municipalities cannot anyway supply everyday regularly, different types of Indian Made Foreign Liquors (IMFL) can be supplied through pipelines. In this respect, our Governments and Municipalities will not fail, because they have already converted National and State Highways into Municipal and Panchayat Roads, so as to subvert the Supreme Court's Order to close the liquor shops on National and State Highways.

Question: Why alcoholic stars do not commit suicides, and why farmers commit suicides?

Ans: A farmer who makes Rs. 60,000/- per annum by selling his harvests, and gets that small amount in 2 or 3 instalments, and if he spends Rs. 25,000/- per annum, on alcohol, he cannot maintain his family without debts. He will not be left with 'Capital' to invest when the next sowing season comes. Hence, the parameter is: What percentage of his income (not only a farmer, any low income person) a person spends on alcohol will decide. If the percentage is more, the farmer will be surrounded by debtors. If the percentaqg is low, he can borrow from banks and repay them. If the percentage is high, he will not only be indebted to Banks, but also to private money lenders. Private Money Lenders initially lend to farmers on just approaching and asking. But gradually, they tighten the terms. They use filthy language to recover their loans. They insult not only the farmers, but also his family members to such an extent, even by asking the Head of the Family 'Why don't you consume pesticide or hang yourselves, so that we can get compensation from the Government and adjust to our loans? Thus, private usurious money lender is the provocatrr for farmer suicides, while alcoholism (along with many other reasons) contributes to the penury of the farmer.

On the other hand, a film heroine / politician / abc / xyz who makes Rs. 40 million per annum, and spends Rs. 4 lakhs per annum on clubs, pubs and alcohol, he-she will still be left with Rs. 39.6 million. There will be no need to worry, except that some roles may be lost, or some health may be lost. Doesn't the percentage of income spent on alcohol decide, the tendencies to commit suicide? If film stars are to commit suicides, there should be additional contributive causes such as: 1. Losses on film production / distribution 2. Losses on gambling. 3. Losses in other businesses. 4. Vexations with cheating by lovers 5. Other frustrations.

(Example 1: Husband of a film star in Mumbai, who happened to be a film director and producer, committed suicide by jumping from the roof of a building in Mumbai. But for such things, to generate depression, there should be surrounding causes such as financial incapacitation, monetary retardation. Loss of Money-earning capacity can lead to depressions.)

(Example 2: Hindi Star Meena Kumari's suicide. Extract from Wikipedia.org:
"...Meena Kumari portrayed of Pakeezah under Kamal Amrohi's direction became historical piece of document.[14] In her performances, beauty, aristrocracy, tragedy, personality all blended into one. Her role as Chhoti Bahu, in Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam is considered one of the best performances in Indian Cinema. Chhoti Bahu a role dangerously close to Kumari's own tragic life, like the character of Chhoti Bahu, in real life Meena Kumari also became addicted to alcohol.[15] Kumari life and prosperous career were marred by heavy drinking, troubled relationships, an ensuing deteriorating health, and her death from liver cirrhosis in 1972. ..."

Question: How Lavish Marriages by Rich do not lead to their suicides?

Ans: If Mr. Nitin Gadkari has performed his daughter's marriage spending Rs. 40 million (4 crore), still, such heavy expenditure may not lead to his suicide simply because it depends on: what percentage of his income/wealth he spent on his daughter's marriage? May be hardly 2% or 4%.

Question: How Lavish Marriages by SMALL AND MARGINAL FARMERS INVARIABLY LEAD TO THEIR SUICIDES

If a farmer who gets Rs. 100,000 by selling his crop, and if he spends Rs. 60,000 on his daughter's marriage, how will he subsist the remaining year, till the next crop comes? If he spends the remaining 40,000 on his family maintenance and remaining children's education, the farmer will not have anything to buy seeds, pesticides, inputs for the next crop. Ultimately he will fall into the hands of private money lenders who will force him to commit suicide.

Occupational Hazards of Metropolitan Money Lending Mafias

Private Money Lending mafias in Bombay can threaten debtor film producers/distributor and Mumbai politicians who lose elections, of dire consequences, while reminding them about moneys due. But the Lender mafias will never force them to commit suicides, because Govt. will not pay compensation. Film Producer/defaults defaults, Election-losing politician defaults, are occupational hazards for Money Lending Mafias in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, etc. They seldom come to light.

751 (Part /10) Politico-Judicial Relations. If the Govt. and the Ministers do their jobs, Judges will be happy. Their work will be reduced.

This is in continuation of series of our blogposts on Judicial Reforms needed for India. The last previous post of the series, was made by us on 25th April 2016, post No. 737. Click to study 737 . Now, our Union Minister for National Highways, and Shipping has shot another bullet on the judiciary, and its judicial activism. He is reported to have commented:

"...But why are the judges trying to do a minister's job? If judges want to do a minister's job, they should quit, contest elections, and become ministers. ..." "...if judges wanted to do government job, they should quit, contest elections and become ministers. ..."

"...I have immense respect for the judiciary. ... Country's democracy is based on its four pillars. ... Constitution provided for separation of powers. ..."

ybrao-a-donkey

People too have immense respect towards their ministers. But are they doing their jobs honestly?

If Government and the Ministers do their jobs properly, executing the Rule of Law in proper manner, and without bias, and without dangers to human rights and natural justice, Judges will be the happiest persons. Their burden will be reduced substantially. They can use the time thus saved, to clear other pending cases of disputes between private parties.

The misfortune of the People of India is, they had GREAT EXPECTATIONS from Mr. Narendra Modi, and elected him-his party, with full majority, replacing the inefficient and tainted Congress. But regrettably, the NDA Government is also following the same perilous and rotten path which its predecessors UPA 1 and UPA 2 Governments have followed. Just as Ms. Sonia Gandhi was surrounded by her coterie, Mr. Narendra Modi also seems to be surrounded by a coterie, which does not believe in Rule of Law, or has disdain towards judiciary.

We should compare what Mr. Gadkari said to what Mr. Arun Jaitley said in his blog, discussed by us in our blog-post Click to study 587 . Here is a quote from Arun Jaitley Maharaj:

"...The judgement ignores the larger constitutional structure of India. Unquestionably independence of the judiciary is a part of the basic structure of the Constitution. It needs to be preserved. But the judgement ignores the fact that there are several other features of the Constitution which comprise the basic structure. The most important basic structure of the Indian Constitution is Parliamentary democracy. The next important basic structure of the Indian Constitution is an elected Government which represents the will of the sovereign. The Prime Minister in Parliamentary democracy is the most important accountable institution. The Leader of the Opposition is an essential aspect of that basic structure representing the alternative voice in Parliament. The Law Minister represents a key basic structure of the Constitution; the Council of Ministers, which is accountable to Parliament. All these institutions, Parliamentary sovereignty, an elected Government, a Prime Minister, Leader of Opposition, Law Minister are a part of the Constitution’s basic structure. They represent the will of the people. The majority opinion was understandably concerned with one basic structure – independence of judiciary - but to rubbish all other basic structures by referring to them as “politicians” and passing the judgement on a rationale that India’s democracy has to be saved from its elected representatives. The judgement has upheld the primacy of one basic structure - independence of judiciary - but diminished five other basic structures of the Constitution, namely, Parliamentary democracy, an elected Government, the Council of Ministers, an elected Prime Minister and the elected Leader of the Opposition. This is the fundamental error on which the majority has fallen. A constitutional court, while interpreting the Constitution, had to base the judgement on constitutional principles. There is no constitutional principle that democracy and its institutions has to be saved from elected representatives. The Indian democracy cannot be a tyranny of the unelected and if the elected are undermined, democracy itself would be in danger. Are not institutions like the Election Commission and the CAG not credible enough even though they are appointed by elected Governments? ..."

The President of India himself is elected. The Ruling Party made him a rubber stamp. Whatever may be his own reasons, the President of India, does not appear to be applying his mind, while signing on dotted lines. We must not forget that President of India has been mis-equated with the British Queen, by our UPA Rulers , and NDA Rulers. While British Queen is an unelected functionary in British Monarchy (styled as Matured Democracy), President of India is elected not only by Members of Parliament, but also Members of 29 State Assemblies. Still, he neither follows Rules of Law, nor Principles of Natural Justice.

If the Advocate Generals / Attorney Generals, Governors, State / Union Law Ministers, State / Union Cabinet Members, follow rules of Law- in the form of laid down Statute, honor principles of Natural Justice, also keep in mind the ratio decidendi given by Supreme Court in previous Cases, normally there should be no need and opportunities for High Courts and Supreme Courts to interfere and intervene. But, sadly, it is not happening. May be, for selfish political reasons.

But tables will get reversed in consequence of elections, and the King may become a beggar , and a mendicant may become a King. A Ruling Party may become an Opposition Party, and vice versa. The same Ruling Party which now says UNELECTED JUDGES ARE TYRANNICAL , when it becomes an Opposition Party, will shout hoarsely at the top of its voice that COURTS SHOULD PROTECT AND RESCUE INDIAN DEMOCRACY and that they have FULL CONFIDENCE IN COURTS. Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi are doing it now. But the same Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi when they become Rulers, will not hesitate to tear and throw off papers, if they are not to their liking. !

The latest examples in this respect are the toppling of elected Opposition Governments in Arunachal Pradesh and the Uttarakhand. The NDA Government at Centre, and the President of India should not have given an opportunity to the Uttara Khand High Court, and the Supreme Court to flex their muscles. NDA Govt. should act JUSTLY, and then Courts will have no work.

742 (Part 11/10) of Sri Venkateswara, Lord VishNu, Goddess Lakshmi. Now: Alien Religions through reckless conversions can destroy Indian Culture

This is Part 11 of the series of our explorative studies on various probabilities of history and origin of the Lord Venkateswara's (Balaji) shrine at Tirumala-Tirupati. This is in continuation of our blog posts 508, 511, 512, 513, 584, 597, 631, 739, 740, 741. For those who wish to study them (studying them will broaden our frame of thinking-i.e. perspective.), here are the links: To go to 508- Part1/10. To go to 511- Part2/10. To go to 512- Part3/10. To go to 513- Part4/10. To go to 584- Part5/10. To go to 597- Part6/10. To go to 631- Part7/10. . To go to 739- Part8/10. . To go to 740- Part9 /10. . To go to 741- Part10 /10. .
Question: You say that you oppose conversion of Indians into alien religions. This is nothing but intolerance.

Answer: 1. First of all, there is no definition of what constitutes tolerance and what else constitutes intolerance. These are all subjective terms. In Telugu language translation of Vyasa's Epic Mahabharata, by Telugu Poet Tikkana, there is a Telugu verse, which gives us a rough indication of what we can follow as 'justice' and 'ethics':-

orulE yavi onarincina
naravara tana manambunaku apriyam bagu tAn
orulaku avi sEya kuniki
parAyaNamu dharma pathamula kellan.

English: If something done by a person to us- hurts us, THE GREATEST DUTY, JUSTICE AND ETHICS FOR US WILL BE, NOT DOING THE SAME THING TO OTHERS.

Prove your hypotheses with practical example:

Answer: Rev. Barrows was 2nd in Command of the persons who organised the World Parliament of Religions held at Chicago in 1893, which was attended by Swami Vivekananda and others from India. Rev. Barrows, apparently, wanted to popularise and publicise Christianity as the principal religion of the World, at the Chicago Congress. It might have worked, or it might not have worked, we can't say.

I also get an impression that Rev. Barrows wanted to use Mazoondar of Brahmo Samaj, and Swami Vivekananda, as his tools. But this, apparently did not work.

After completing his principal task of participating in the World Parliament of Religions, Vivekananda ought to have returned to India, and continued his work in this poor country India. Instead, he chose to stay there for some years, make some dollars, giving some lectures. In the process, he started converting American Aristocratic Women into Ramakrishna cult of Hinduism. Actually, Hinduism is neither a formal religion , nor it has formal provisions for conversion of others into Hinduism. This conversion might have caused some bruises to Rev. Barrows.

Rev. Barrows too toured India, on his mission of Converting Indians into Christianity. It is difficult to say how far Rev. Barrows succeeded. But, bitterness resulted between Swami Vivekananda and Rev. Barrows.

ybrao-a-donkey's humble opinion: Even now, it is high time that Organisations such as Ramakrishna Math, Iskon, etc. which have their branches abroad, should openly declare that they will not convert anybody into Hinduism, unless there are very very strong exceptional reasons such as court orders. Simultaneously, they should demand that Alien Religions are not to venture in India for converting Indians into alien religions.
Question: What is its relevance to your previous blog-posts about Aryan Migration from Arctic (Scandinavia, Latvia, Lithuania, Old Prussia etc.), and the adoption of Latvian Gods into India?

Ans: The main problem with large scale conversions by alien religions is, they not only destroy the native culture, but also ALL EVIDENCES OF NATIVE HISTORY. One straight question which European Governments and the American Government have to answer: What was the History of Europe before entry of Christianity into Europe, from Israel? Christianity is a West Asian Religion. Why did the Romans destroy entire pre-christian history of Europe? What was the History of America, before the migration of Europeans into United States? Didn't the Native American Indians have any history of their own at all? Why should the American History start with Columbus or George Washington? Today, we can't get the Ancient or Medieval Histories of America or Europe, without Religious colors.

One happy future of Aryan migration from Nordisca into India from about 5000 BC to 0001 A.D. seems to be, that they had not been controlled from abroad. May be because, there were long gaps of distance. There were no transport facilities. There were no communications. Consequently, the migrant Aryans, though may be unwillingly, merged into Indian Society, borrowed heavily from Indian Culture, and also lent heavily to Indian Culture. The aggregate result of all that exchange is, India today has a composite culture, which some people call "Hinduism" (not Hindu religion), and some others call "sanAtana dharma". Whatever terms are employed, the Culture has had some merits, and some very very painful demerits such as untouchability, oppression of lower castes etc. Whatever be the past of India, today India is a country of MIXED-RACIALITY.

But, the present two alien religions which are converting people into their religions on a massive scale, using money as baits, making false promises, making negative propaganda and spreading falsehoods against Indian culture, have done great damage to Indian Lives during the last 1000 years, and even after India gained independence, they are continuing their activities which are harmful and injurious to India. Congress, and other so self-declared Secular parties have encouraged, and are encouraging the Conversions, in the name of protection to minorities. Some political parties like BJP, Shiva Sena are using these DISHARMONIOUS CONDITIONS for gaining political power to themselves.

It is, therefore, highly essential that the conversion activities of alien religions are to be stopped. Alien Organisations are controlled from abroad both formally and informally.

Example for formal controls from abroad: Who appoints Arch Bishops and , Bishops in India? Can't Indian Dioceses elect their own Arch Bishops and Bishops?

Example of informal controls: Donations from Saudi Arabia, for running Madrasas and building prayer-houses.

International Religious interferences, can infringe into sovereignities of countries. They harm the DEMOCRATIC and REPUBLIC character of countries. Sometimes, guidelines from alien Institutions can violate the internal security of the recipient countries. There will also be confusion in the minds of the followers of alien religions, whether to follow the secular guidelines of the Government of the Native country, or to follow the guidelines of alien Religious Heads? Unity of Command is an important prerequisite for survival of any Republic. Members of the Republic cannot be controlled by outsiders.
Question: Can you say something about the Bhaja Cave picture posted by you above?

Ans: -The picture is reported to belong to the OLDEST TEMPLE in India, in Bhaja Caves, Maharashtra, near Lonavala. It is said to belong to 400 B.C. i.e. about 2500 yrs. old. The picture shows, inter alia (among other things), a woman playing a double-drum percussion instrument, which looks like a tabla. On the right side, we can see a long wind-piped instrument, may be something like a shehnai (called 'nAda svaram or sannAyi' in South India). The Bhaja Caves, according to experts, belong to HinayAna Buddhism, track of Buddhism. In the previous blog posts, we have seen that the same caves contained the chariot of Sun God (sUrya), and the elephant-riding Indra (parjanya), which I have tried to link to Latvia-Lithuania-Old~Prussia-Sudovia-Esthonia, and only partially succeeded.

One question which repeatedly is haunting my mind is: Could the HinayAna Buddhism also have come from Europe, along with Aryans? Was Buddha (or Siddhardha in his early life) also a European? After entry into India, could the HinayAna Buddhism have developed into MahAyAna Buddhism? In my earlier blog posts, I have expressed a view that the culture of Ancient Indians was nearer to Ancient Jains of Tamil Nadu (Not SvEtAmbara modern Jainism). For this reason only, I was tempted to subscribe to the view that Sri Venkateswara's Temple at Tirumala was a Jain Shrine taken over by VishNu worshippers (same Aryans who spread from Lapland to Latvia to Iran/Iraq to Afghanistan to Punjab to Malva to Maharashtra to Karnataka and finally to Tamil Nadu). BukkarAya Sandhi
(Truce made by the Vijayanagara King Bukkaraya between Jains and Shri VaishNavas, about the surrender of Tirumala Temple by Jains to VaishNavas, in exchange for protection to Bahubali at SrAvaNa BeLagola)
, supported this idea.

Though Adolph Hitler tried to possess the ThunderFire or Thunderstone symbol of SVASTIK and the ARYAN word, as Germanic, the Baltics seem to have a better claim to the Svastika. It is true that Svastik is used all over the world, for the last several thousand years. It may be true that we cannot attribute it only to Baltics.

But what made me to wonder is: The presence of Svastik Sign in the foot-prints stone sculptures of Buddha, in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh. Period approx. 2nd Century BC to 2nd Century AD. Of course, hundreds of thousands of Indians believe that Svastika is a purely Indian sign, which spread all over the world, with Indian Migrations to SE Asia, and Europe. Right now, my mind still is bent on believing that Svastik is Baltic only. We have to study in greater depth, but it will take indefinite period of time, because the pre-Christian Histories of Scandinavia, North Sea countries, Baltic countries, have been destroyed by the Christian Rulers. The Histories of most of these countries, now start with VIKINGS of the 8th Century A.D.

Till now, my mind continued in the belief that Buddha was from Bihar-Nepal. My doubts about that theory sprouted when the Talibans in Afghanistan destroyed the Bamiyan Buddha Caves in Kandahar. The general prevailing impression seems to be, that Buddhism spread into north-west direction from Bihar-Nepal, along the Ganga-Yamuna route to Kandahar, probably by Ashoka's Feudatives. We can also examine a view that Hinayana Buddhism too has come from Europe into Afghanistan, and further spread Eastwards and Southwards in India, and developed into Mahayana Buddhism at Amaravati and Nagarjuna Konda.

IMPORTANT: These are all only possibilities and probabilities. I am not formulating anything.

702 (Part 6 of Kanhaiya-JNU affair)- Will Mr. Sitaram Yechury send Lal Salams to Afzal Guru and Yakoub Momen also? Will he send his Lal Salams to Asaduddin Ovaisi also?

Mr. Sitaram Yechury, the Boss of Communist Party of India (Marxist), popular in India as CPIM or CPM has tweeted his Lal Salams to Mr. Kanhaiya Kumar, the JNU Students Leader on March 3, 2016. But Mr. Kanhaiya Kumar appears to be getting deeply entrenched and entangled in his support to Afzal Guru and Yakoub Momen's followers. Will Mr. Sitaram Yechury continue his Lal Salams to Mr. Kanhaiya Kumar, if Mr. Kanhaiya Kumar continues his association with the followers of Afzal Guru and Yakoub Momen?

The High Power Committee appointed by JNU's Vice Chancellor, submitted its report on the happenings in JNU on Feb. 9. Mr. Kanhaiya Kumar and other students sought time for replying JNU's Notice, to consult Legal opinion. The JNU gave them time upto 5 pm on 18.3.2016. After perusing the Replies of the Students, and taking into consideration the Recommendations of the High Power Committee, the VC may take his decision, of course after consulting Home Ministry and HRD Ministry.

The justification of VC's decision, will again become an object of Judicial Review, because the affected students will approach High Courts u/article 226 of Constitution, and Supreme Court u/article 32 of Constitution. If High Court's decision goes against the JNU, or the Students, either party will again appeal to Supreme Court for Revision / SLP. etc. etc.

While the AAP Government has sent the relevant videos to a Private Lab. in Hyderabad, and that Private Lab confirmed that 2 of the 5 videos are doctored, Mr. Sitaram Yechury was happy with the Private Lab's Report, rather than asking for analyses of the reports in a Government Laboratory.

Whether the 2/5 of Videos are doctored and 3/5 of the Videos are not doctored, the High Power Committee has made two findings: Anti India slogans were given by some persons wearing scarfs/masks. There are Eye-witnesses.

We have gauged this issue of "Sloganeering by outsiders" in Part 1 and Part 2 (see blog Posts 676, 686, 690, 693, 699). Now, the High Power Panel of JNU confirmed it. They found some Security Lapses, in allowing outsiders into the Meeting.

In India, the key problem is OUTSIDERS ARE HYJACKING MEETINGS AND RALLIES. When lawyers thrashed Kanhaiya Kumar in Patiala Courts, some outsiders in Lawyers' Coats seem to have infiltrated into the crowd, in spite of nearly 1000 Police Personnel guarding there.

The same is the case in the burning of Ratnachal Express in Tuni Railway Station, during Kapu Reservation Agitation led by Mr. Mudragada Padmanabham in Andhra Pradesh.

The same is the case, in large scale destruction of Public Property during Jat Reservation Agitation.

What is the lesson from all this? Meetings are to be held in Closed Halls, collecting xerox copies of identity cards, Adhar Cards, entering all the details in separate Registers. Still, better method will be to have BioMetric Attendance hand-machines for checking finger prints, iris, etc. If the Organisers fail to do it, Police should do it independently.

Mr. Kanhaiya Kumar appears to be confusing himself by mixing up the problems of socio-economic backwardness of dalits, and their sufferings - with Afzal Guru, Yakoub Momen, something else, something else. In the process, he is entangling himself irretrivably.

WHO SHOULD DECIDE WHAT IS NATIONAL, AND WHAT IS NOT NATIONAL

Now, the plate of Indian Citizens is full. The Maharashtra Assembly expelled an AIMIM M.L.A. from the Assembly, because he refused to say "Bharat MAtA ki Jai". Of course, that MLA, and their leader Asaduddin Ovaisi, said they will say "Jai Hind", and they confirmed their adherence to India's Constitution.

Then, there are some rewards for "tongue-cutters", who will cut the tongues of the blasphemers. How seriously, Maharashtra Police will pursue the cases against those who announced rewards for the tongue-cutters? How seriously, Maharashtra Police will follow up cases against Mr. Asaduddin Ovaisi, for his speeches which are likely to intensify communal divide? These two are going to be serious questions.

Mr. Sitaram Yechury, CPIM boss, without thinking deeply about Afzal Guru and Yakoub Momen, tweeted Lal Salam to Mr. Kanhaiya Kumar. By doing this, Mr. Sitaram Yechury and CPIM are indirectly supporting Afzal Guru and Yakoub Momen. Needless say , that Senior Leaders are to be very careful in their actions, because their followers blindly imitate them. (This applies to Mr. Rahul Gandhi, Mr. Narendra Modi, and Ms. Sonia Gandhi also).

Lal Salam Comrade Kanhaiya. #JNULongLive 499 retweets 521 likes Sitaram Yechury ‏@SitaramYechury Mar 3

We have to see whether Mr. Sitaram Yechury will tweet his Lal Salams to Asaduddin Ovaisi also.

Simultaneously, the Union Government should appoint a Independent Special Judicial Commission with Constitutional Experts, to decide and adjudicate whether Bharat Mata ki Jai, Vande Mataram, should become legally Enforceable National Slogans, like National Anthem. It is high time, GOI and Supreme Court bring clarity on this serious issue which is going to threaten the National Integrity of India. That Special Commission + GOI + Supreme Court have to decide on the role to be played by Extra-Constitutional Power Groups and NGOs.

Small disputes at local level, can culminate in Civil Wars at National Level. Our Leaders have to foresee a lot, and meet the future half-way ahead before Crises strike us fatally. In Management Terminology, this is called STRATEGY PLANNING. Mr. Narendra Modi, Mr. Rajnath Singh, Ms. Smriti Irani, pl. wake up from your dreams.

374 A chaiwala cannot become Chief Minister in India

"If a common man like Narendra Modi, who started off as a chai wala goes on to become the PM, I can become the CM as well,"  -- Uddhav Thackeray.

Chaiwalas can never become Chief Ministers or Prime Ministers in India.  They have to prematurely end their "chaiwala avtar" (tea vendor's incarnation) and start wearing Modi kurtAs or similar garments.  Never in India, can a kucEla (person with torn or bad clothes) can become even an M.L.A. or M.P. , not to speak of becoming CM or PM.  A Chaiwala PM/CM does not require bullet-proof offices.  He-she is not scared of losing his her life..  Nor do they need Jets or Helicopters to travel.  Of course, Uddhav Thakre, being the inheritor of Bal Thakre's fortune in Mumbai, may not get an opportunity to sell teas.  Hence, he can safely become CM of Maharashtra, after stop-speaking all the nonsense.

366 It is nothing but political opportunism

is nothing but political opportunism.

It is 2014 history, that Congress Party and BJP Party at All India level played a very heinous role in Indian Parliament (Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha), in the forced trunkation of Andhra Pradesh.

At that time, though Mr. Narendra Modi was not the PM, he was at the top of BJP and controlling its affairs. BJP's leader in Lok Sabha, Ms. Sushma Swaraj and leader in Rajya Sabha Mr. Arun Jaitley were very much his associates. They could not have acted without his knowledge.

BJP's argument for beheading United AP was its policy of supporting smaller States.

What our beloved(?!!) Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi is saying now?

Speaking at Dhule, on 7th Oct. 2014, Mr. Modi was reported to have said:

మహారాష్ట్రలోని ధూలే అనే ప్రదేశంలో, అక్టోబర్ ఏడు, 2014 నాడు శ్రీ మోడీ గారు మాట్లాడుతు ఇలా అన్నారుట.

मीडिया के अनुसार, महाराष्ट्र के धूले में भाषण करते समय, श्री मोडी महोदय, ७ अक्टोबर २०१४ दिनांक, यह कहा ।
"Congress leaders have been spreading lies on cotton and onion for the last 10 years. They have started spreading a new lie. They say Maharashtra will be split. Has anyone been born in this country who can divide the land of Shivaji ?"

"I assure you that as long as I am in Delhi, no power in the world can split Maharashtra and also separate Mumbai from Maharashtra," he said.

Ybrao a donkey's view

Maharashtra is a State large both in area and population. Vidarbha is a very backward region. They find it extremely difficult to go to Mumbai for getting their needs met. Mumbai is a very expensive city. If they have a small State, with Capital at Nagpur or some other place, they will definitely benefit.

If Telangana is backward, is Vidarbha a land of Abundance and Prosperity?

To continue.
