894 Poultry-keeper cannot count eggs and promise omelets, before hens lay the eggs

Mr. Narendra Modi in his Election Speech at Jullundhur on 27.01.2017, promised to bring Indus Waters to Punjab (presumably from Jammu and Kashmir). Let us believe that it is not election jumla. Let us believe that he is sincere. Yet, one question remains: Why promise to pick up eggs, before hens lay them? Indus River Water may become a subject of an International River Water Dispute. Of course, as Indus River passes through India, before it flows through Pakisthan, India may successfully and forcibly divert Indus Water southwards to Punjab. Unlike his past promise of bringing trillions of India's black money stashed in foreign banks, amounting and crediting to the personal Bank accounts of Indian citizens @ Rs. 1.5 million (Rs. 15 lacs), which Mr. Modi cannot and could not fulfill owing to non-co~operation of stash-benefited and stash-encouraging countries, this promise of diverting Indus Water to Punjab, may be within his control to execute. Of course, trillions will have to be invested for building dams, digging irrigation channels, drilling tunnels through mountains, installing motors for lifting water- wherever needed, is going to be a stupendous task. We can also be sanguine that INdia will be able to overcome technical difficulties involved in shifting water from Kashmir to Punjab.

But, will Pakisthan dumbly accept it as their fate, when India diverts Indus Water? Mr. Modi may want to use Indus Water flows, as a lever to make Pakisthan to come to terms about the Jammu-Kashmir being an integral part of India.

1. This type of promises which may involve international disputes, promises which require huge investments, promises which require surmounting great technical problems, -- it will better, they are not made in advance. It will be like picking eggs, before hens lay them, or milking a cow, before it delivers a calf.
2. We do not know how the Jammu and Kashmir State Government, and the People of Jammu and Kashmir, are going to react to the proposal of diversion of INdus Waters from their State to Punjab. Ordinarily, upper Region States do not easily allow water to be released to riparian States, even if Supreme Court orders them to release.

CAN CENTRAL GOVERNMENT REALLY CONTROL 'UPPER REGION' STATES?

Our readers may recall, how Karnataka Government refused to release water down to Kaveri Delta, in spite of Supreme Court's Orders. Central Government has to answer to the People of Tamil Nadu, why it could not enforce Supreme Court Judgements on release of Cauveri water from time to time. It is not going to be as easy as compromising on the brutal sport of 'jalli-kattu' with the Tamil Nadu Government, asking them to issue an Ordinance, with the help of the Governor.

Karnataka Government also locks supply of Krishna water to Telangana and Residual Andhra Pradesh States, unless and until it gets unstoppable floods to Krishna, and unless and until Almatty and Narayanpur Reservoirs flow upto brim and reach a breaking stage. Karnataka wants to use Krishna River only as a drainage channel for sending its useless water to Bay of Bengal.

WHICH PARTY DOES MR. NARENDRA MODI WANTS, TO BE HIS OPPOSITION PARTY, AT NATIONAL LEVEL?

Okay, as desired by Mr. Narendra Modi, Congress Party will become defunct, and vanish from the political scene. Which Party does Mr. Modi want, to replace Congress at National Level? CPI? CPIM? Trinamul? AAP? Samajvadi? RJD? JDU? Or a Front of all of them? Or does he not want, any Opposition at all? Mr. Narendra Modi has to think, talk and act like a Real Great Statesman. A Healthy Opposition Party(ies) is/are necessary for survival of Democracies. Only in Dictatorships and Totalitarian States, Opposition is totally annihilated. If there are no Opposition Parties, Mr. Modi will not have any challenges, and life will become dull and uninteresting for him. For his own health, he needs good, responsible and Sensible Opposition Parties.

BETTER PM RESTRAINS HIMSELF IN USING BARBS AND SARCASMS

When compared to ordinary politicians, Prime Minister of India is expected to exercise some self-restraint in use of barbs and sarcasms. By using them, a PM may win elections, but if he uses barbs and sarcasms too frequently, people may not worship him on a high pedestal. Our Prime Minister, seems to want to emulate Mahatma Gandhi, by spinning yarn on a spinning wheel, and in other words, we may visualise him as 'abhinav mahAtmA Gandhi' (Modern Mahatma Gandhi). For reaching that State, which I welcome him to reach definitely, he has to work really hard, and honestly, while overcoming petty political temptations.

The Birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, October 2 2016, is a few days ahead. As usual, there will be a public holiday, so that Government Employees can play cards the whole day, booze, or visit pubs, or go to dance bars, or hang around TV sets, or do whatever they like, except studying at least for one day, what Gandhiji had said or practised during his life time, what methods Gandhiji used in the various movements led by him such as Non-Co-operation Movement, Salt SatyAgraha, Quit India Movement. Of course, officially Governments will order closure of meat shops and wine shops. Okay, let us have this annual ritual, as true Indians whose penchant for rituals is well-known globally.

In the last post, I have given some links for download of Collected Works of Mahatma Gandhi, Collected works of Lenin. I have also given one link to a 1930 article by a Indo-British Labor Leader of those days Shapurji Saklatvala, with the article titled 'Who is this Gandhi?". Along with that I have also given a 'memoriam' about late Shapurji Saklatvala.

1. You need to hang (hang without fail, so that the people see) no fewer than 100 of the notorious kulaks, the rich and the bloodsuckers.
2. Publish their names.
3. Take all their grain from them.
4. Appoint the hostages — in accordance with yesterday’s telegram.

This needs to be done in such a way that the people for hundreds of versts around will see, tremble, know and shout: they are throttling and will throttle the bloodsucking kulaks.

I do not want to eulogise or criticse Late Lenin, because we do not know the grassroot level scenario prevailing in Russia of 1917. I am more interested for the 'Indian Context", that too "India 2016".

Similarly, I do not want to eulogise or criticise Mahatma Gandhi's leadership and working styles, because he had his own set of priorities and problems. His topmost priority, obviously was to lead India to freedom, and that he had done to the best of his ability. There might have taken place many meritorious things and some undesirable things. Anyway, whatever had happened at that time is history. It will be suffice if facts are recorded by historians in a "mirror-like manner".

In the above telegram, Lenin was asking his associates to hang at least 100 kulaks.

Kulak definition as per Merrium Webster Dictionary: 1. A prosperous or wealthy peasant farmer in 19th century Russia. 2 : a farmer characterized by Communists as having excessive wealth.

In Indian context, we can call them landlords, big farmers. For sometime, when P.V. Narasimha Rao as Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh tried to bring in Land Reforms, some fragmentation took place in AP, and it appeared as though there are few landlords left in Andhra Pradesh. Probably, a similar thing might have happened in Bengal and Kerala. In some other States administered by other bourgeoisie parties like Congress, BJP, RJD, Samajvadi, BSP, etc. etc. some sort of facade-land-reforms might have taken place.

2016 Indian Situation, is definitely different. Owing to continuous fragmentation which took place among children of farmers, while the number of small and marginal farmers, landless agricultural laborers, unwritten-tenant farmers has gone up, simultaneously several pieces of small land holdings were purchased in benami names by nouveau riche

: a person who has recently become rich and who likes to spend a lot of money.

of Society consisting of industrialists and business magnets, politicians and bureaucrats, film stars, cricketers, successful lawyers and doctors, corrupt Govt. engineers etc. In other words, the old class of kulaks (in Telugu we can probably call them 'peda rAyuDu') have been replaced by the modern kulaks.

Maoists hiding in forests tried the techniques of killing kulaks and contractors, probably some rural money-lenders. They have also killed some villagers, calling them informers. They have also indulged in killing some low-level police employees treating them as enemies. But, ultimately, they could achieve nothing in India, except extracting moneys from contractors. Some surrendered Maoists like Nayeem, Sambasivudu (et al) have even established their own empires of criminal extortions.

The Empire established by Lenin in U.S.S.R. (erstwhile Soviet Union) through MASS KILLINGS as proven by the above telegram, did not last long. About Lenin's administration of his so called new Communist Society, we shall take up later. Soon after death of Lenin, the Russian Empire went into the hands of Stalin, who was nothing but a tyrant.

What I wish that we should study in the reigns of Lenin and Stalin is, whether Collective Farming Methods had brought any improvements in the lives of the then Russian Working Class. If there were failures, gradual atrophy till 1991 dissolution of Soviet Union, possible reasons for such failures, we have to study. What I am tempted to say is: Why should we throw away baby with the bathwater? Why not we identify what went wrong in the Russian and East European Experimentations of so-called Socialism-Communism? We know that Chinese Communism is a total failure, as can be seen from China2016.

767 Hans India deserves appreciation for their efforts

By and large, I, this ybrao-a-donkey held a broad view that Media worldwide tends to be inadequately conscious to their social responsibilities. For that their weakness, I often indulged in rationalising and justifying their apathy and callousness, to the monstor of Capitalism. Media Editors, being paid servants of the Investing Corporates, are not given free hands in deciding on the Content they publish, unlike jhompdi bloggers like us. Though comparisons can, sometimes, become obnoxious and odious, owing to use of bad similes or puns, yet I am tempted to use one simile. While the Media parrots will be silver-caged parrots, though fed with cashews, we the jhompdi bloggers tend to be sun-tanned, rain-drenched, cold-frozen unbound parrots chased by ravens.

HansIndia dated 27th May 2016, 30th May 2016, proved to be an exception from the general image of Media. They published the above photograph of a woman in Khammam District climbing up a well, like a creeper to fetch water. This photograph should really open our eyes, to the situation prevailing in India Today. Fortunately, the Govt. of Telangana seems to have responded to the Photo published by Hans India, and have arranged for supply of water tankers to the Village.

Those who have seen the Mahatma Gandhi film directed by Richard Attenborough can recollect one scene in the film, where Gandhi was travelling in a train. Train stopped on a bridge for sometime. Gandhi got down to have a look at the River. There he found an almost-naked woman who was drying her saree in sunlight, as she had only one saree, which she daily washes and wears. It is said that moved by the plight of that woman, Gandhiji too became semi-naked.

Earlier, Eenadu Telugu Newspaper too published a few photos which depicted the dire conditions of people hovering around dry wells for drinking water. But these type of news make only some sporadic seasonal appearances, rather than being recognised as a serious daily problem of harsh existentialist reality.

Governments too do not pay much attention to this serious existential survival question, because their minds always revolve around Industrialists and Corporates. Today, Mr. Cook of Apple, and Mr. Satyam Nadella are the Chief Gods of Indian Prime Ministers and Chief Ministers.

HOW CAN Mr. K. Chandra Sekhara Rao, Chief Minister of Telangana lag behind? Mr. Narendra Modi is spending millions of bucks for educating INdian people to make them learn that the country is changing (badal raha hai). Mr. Aravind Kejriwal has spent hundreds of crore to publish the achievements of his Delhi Rule, by releasing advertisements in South Indian Newspapers. Everybody knows about a similar habit of Ms. Jayalalitaa.

Today, the Telangana Government released FOUR FULL PAGE ADVERTISEMENTS in Newspapers. It is not clear, whether they have released such four page ads. at All INdia Level, or at least at South India level. By doing this, the Governments are not only throwing away public money into drains, but also are wasting imported newsprint which is scarce.

Mr. Chandra Sekhara Rao is successful in his foreplay with the Media, by throwing some moolah at them. Now, it will be the turn of the Chief Minister of Residual Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu, to pay the Media. People say that at least two Media Houses are his own. Whether he owns them or not, they have become his trumpeteers. If he releases big advertisements only to his trumpeteers newspapers and TV Channels, what will happen for the Enemy Channel and the Enemy Paper? Since, he will not like the Enemy paper and channel, to receive the circari lucre, the advertising binge has to wait till the Enemy Newspaper and Channel is punished by Courts in the cases pending against them.

According to Government of India web page http://finmin.nic.in/swarnabharat/indian-gold-coin.html , India will be launching India gold coins, as a part of its gold monetisation program.

The website further states:-

"...The Indian Gold Coin is part of Indian Gold monetisation program. The coin will be the first ever national gold coin will have the national emblem of Ashok Chakra engraved on one side and the face of Mahatma Gandhi on the other side. Initially, the coins will be available in denominations of 5 and 10 grams. A 20 grams bar/bullion will also be available. The Indian Gold Coin is unique in many respects and will carry advanced anti-counterfeit features and tamper-proof packaging that will aid easy recycling. ..."

WHY?

What Gandhiji has got to do with gold? Or what gold has got to do with Gandhiji? Or what Akshaya tritIya has got to do with Gandhiji, though it may have something to do with gold ?

One of my most painful, daily pestering recurrent worries is, that Mr. Narendra Modi is wasting away, a beautiful unconditional mandate and opportunity he received from the people of India in the 2014 General Elections, to build a Great India.

It may be possible that Mr. Narendra Modi may rule India for another 35 years albeit with people's mandate, a la the Communist Party Marxist, which ruled the State of West Bengal. This is in addition to his 12 years rule of the State of Gujarat. But, yet, someday, he may have to step down either because people find some other better and vociferous sloganeer than him or because he has to meet his 100 years maximum span of human longevity. At the end of it, what? He may not leave anything which has TRUE INTRINSIC VALUE to the Nation.

This is because he is trying to OWN UP Mahatma Gandhi, just he has earlier tried to own up Sardar Vallabhai Patel, Netaji Subas Chandra Bose, Baba Saheb Ambedkar. Slogans and Tokens alone, without following at least one of the precepts of Great Men, will only become hollow hypocracies. At the particular moments of their usage, slogans and tokens may glow and sound flamboyantly and pompously like fireworks. But they do not make any lasting marks on the Nation.

Mr. Modi ought to have recalled Mahatma Gandhi's famous talisman quote:-

"...I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man [woman] whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him [her]. Will he [she] gain anything by it? Will it restore him [her] to a control over his [her] own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to swaraj [freedom] for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? ...
Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away. ..."

Except during election campaigns, Mr. Modi may not have time to visualise the face of the poorest and the weakest Indians, because all his time and space is filled up with dresses, selfies with Corporate Giants, and Film Stars.

It is a wrong world-wide and nation-wide impression that Indians are enamoured of gold, or made of gold, or that Indians long to own pots of gold. This impression may be true in case of Indian Kings, Emperors, Priests and Traders, their Queens, Princesses and Wives. In the Indian history, the gold accumulated by Indian Kings, Emperors, Priests and Traders might have prompted and tempted the ilks of Mohammed Ghazni, Mohammed Ghori, Tymoor, Ahmed Shah Abdali, Robert Clive, Lord Dalhouse, Lord Wellesley to plunder India's gold, diamonds, and other precious stones.

INHERENT CONTENTMENT, HONESTY, AND SIMPLICITY OF INDIAN FOLKS

But it must be noted that, they could not plunder the traits of inherent contentment, honesty, renunciation, staying away from evil -- of the common Indian folk.

INDIAN WOMEN NEVER HESITATE TO RELINQUISH

In 1921 (circa) Gandhiji toured India, mobilising funds for the freedom movement. During his Campaign women attended his meetings and gave him away the gold ornaments on their body, as contribution to the freedom movement. One weakness of Indians, is they forget their history, and again fall into beaten tracks of temptations.

MISLEADING MARKETING CAMPAIGNS BY GOLD TRADERS

The recent trends of large scale purchases of Gold and diamonds in India, during the Valentine Day, during the Akshaya Tritiya day, seem to be the artificial demand creation by Monstrous Gold Merchants through advertisement and sales campaigns, using the services of film stars, paying them millions of bucks for endorsements.

THOUGH NOT DESIRABLE, NOT MUCH HARMFUL INDIAN CUSTOM

It is true, that there is a custom of father of every bride (groom's father, depending on custom), purchasing a small gold marital thread, and a little jewellery to the bride.

MISUSE OF INDIAN CUSTOMS BY UNSCRUPULOUS GROUPS

Some Merchant castes seem to have misused this custom for EXHIBITIONISM of their ill-gotten wealth. Some unscrupulous politicians, bureaucrats, Corporate business tycoons, God persons, Temples, might have accumulated kilograms, quintals and tons of gold, by making money through questionable and ugly means. The Governments from time to time, instead of discouraging these trends, went on participating in, and taking pride in these acquisitions, as if all these things will add up to our Growth Rate.

HYPOCRISY OF GOD PERSONS

Swami Vivekananda too spoke of kAmini-kAnchan sanyAs (English : Giving up women, gold - or staying away from women and gold). It is a different thing, that he himself did not adhere to his vow.

India does not need gold coins. This is because, India is facing spiralling inflation. Within few years, the price of the gold content in the gold coin will outweigh its face value. Then, the coins if hoarded will disappear from the market (anyway, of course, they are collection items only), or the coins will be melted and made into ornaments.

India has long back, dispensed with gold coins. Even the drivers of this world the USA-UK-France-Germany are not following the gold standard. IMF is not following its gold parity system actively. India's currency system is based on "Minimum Fiduciary Reserve". That means, RBI maintains a minimum quantum of gold and foreign exchange reserves. It goes on issuing currency notes or creating Bank Money called M3 with "sky as limit".

Though a currency note issued by Reserve Bank of India is a Demand Promissory Note payable to bearer, to pay the value of the Rupees printed on the Note, they themselves have removed the word 'demand' from the Note. This promise of RBI has never been tested either legally or physically by people. Since, there is no promise of paying in gold (gold standard), how the RBI will pay the presenter to it of the Note, in India? It will, at the most, issue a cheque on a Bank in India to pay the sum of Rs. ... to the presentor. But that Bank will have again to hand over a promissory Note issued by RBI, i.e. another currency note.

Suppose today (11th May 2016), I present a Rs. 10 Note to RBI, and ask it to pay me in the form of 1 kg. of Rice, which the Note used to fetch ten years back? Okay, the RBI has dispensed with gold standard, it will not pay gold. But, can't it pay RICE STANDARD? Can it guarantee to issue a packet of 200 gms. of rice in exchange for the Rupee 10 note?

679 How can there be a Socialist who wants to scrap ban on marijuana?

Loss of Mr. Bernie Sanders to Ms. Hillary Clinton, in South Carolina, for the Democratic Candidature, by very large margin, need not cause much worry to the sympathizers of Socialism around the world, nor his Victory should generate unbound enthusiasm. Reason: American and European Socialist Pretentions need not be taken seriously, though the very concept of Socialism was born in Europe. The nature of American and European Working Class is tampered (not tempered) by the comforts and luxuries they get in Europe and America by enjoying, howsoever little they may be, the shares in the Exploits of Euro-American Capitalism. They do not mind Euro-American Capitalists creating bonded laborers in China, India, and above all Africa. When the Americans shout "We want American jobs to be brought back from China, South East Asia, and South Asia they mean that only non-sweat cushy, sweety, jobs are to be brought back, and not the hazardous and sweaty jobs.

While I am unable to trace any speech of Mr. Bernie Sanders which promises that he is going to bring back to U.S., all the U.S. jobs which were ported earlier to South East Asia, such promises quite common by Donald Trump seem to get enormous support from Americans of all "hues".

Whether the world likes it or not, or whether the Americans like it or not, whether the American Whites like it or not, the fact remains, U.S. is latently divided on Racial Lines, just as India is divided on Religious and casteist lines.

The problem with most politicians is, to which Mr. Bernie Sanders does not appear to be exempt is, they will go to any extent to woo their existing voters, prospective voters. What type of Socialism a Presidential Candidate can promote in U.S.A., by legalising marijuana? He will be promoting only the businesses of Drug maphia, knowingly or unknowingly. If there corruption or irregularities in the administration of ban on narcotic drugs, a True Socialist should try to plug the loopholes, and try to enforce it with great sincerity and vigor. He will not play with the future of the Youth, by allowing drugs to be sold everywhere like pizzas and hamburgers of which the Americans are fond of, and facilitate them get delivered at home using drones. To start with:  Even Gandhiji dreamt that Indian business persons and industrialists will play the role of TRUSTEES धर्मकर्ता ధర్మకర్తలు  for the properties they amass.  Probably, stalwarts like Late Jamnlal Bajaj or Ghan Shyamdas Birla might have lived upto the expectations of Mahatma Gandhi.

Now, such evaporative concepts seem to fly on the sky.

Marxism (ybrao donkey coined word-substitute: equalism) does not envisage that rich will ever go into extreme charities and philanthropies on their own volition, or from a sense of shame generated by the Government or the Society.

Mr. Rajan, in the above speech wants incentivi-sation of the rich, to induce them to part with their wealth.  Religions have tried this incentive inducement technique.  Religions may promise anything like 10 times yield i.e. for every 10 bucks of charity, the donor may get 100 bucks.  This trick worked for the benefit of prayerhouses.   But the flow will dry down once the 10 time yields starts flowing in THIS WORLD.  Profits in heaven failed to tempt the donors.  After all, they were all business persons of proven skills.


Earning money upto a certain quantity, can be deemed as a person's duty.  Beyond that, an in-satiable thirst  to make money becomes a disease for the concerned individuals, families, societies and countries.


Our psychiatrists, psychologists, socio-economic scientists have to dig out true reasons why people become insatiably greedy to make moolah, even at the cost of their character, health, remaining life time.  Making money beyond a limit, particularly through foul means, is a disease which needs an I.C.U. treatment.


Coercion is the only solution.  Either society has to force them, or the State will have to force them.  For this reason only, removal of private property is the first priority for Marxism.


But this coercion has led to dictatorships in countries like Soviet Union, China, East Europe, N. Korea, Cuba.  The dictatorships have tarnished the philosophy of Marxism and made EQUALISM unattainable.


A prerequisite for success of Marxism (or yb's Equalism) is people's alertness and awareness of the principles involved.  This equalism cannot be the filmy brand of samatavAdam.  People have to become active participants in the saga of a Nation's move towards Equalism.

Countries like Russia, West Europe, U.S.A., Canada, Australia, New Zealand may not need the principles of Equalism, because most of them are underpopulated, and there is enough land, to accommodate the current rich and the aspiring rich.


In India land is scarce.  We have 1200 million population.  Soon it may go upto 1600 million.  There will be excess labor supply.  Poverty will multiply.  Governments cannot hide it with publicity campaigns.  Some Government welfare schemes, alcoholic habits of people, religious beliefs have so far kept people in a state of inebriation and sloth, that they are unable to understand the reasons for the glaring gaps of inequalities of income and  wealth co-existing side by side.


But this sloth may not continue for long.  Time also will come for all to know that violent revolutions and upheavals can not only be counter-productive, but also plunge the economies and societies irretrievable troughs.  The only solution, therefore, lies in an ENLIGHTENED POPULATION which calmly studies what is happening, and responds correctly when they get an opportunity to use their ballot power in  elections.

జన్మ క్షత్రియులు అంతరించటమో, రాజేతరమైన వృత్తులను చేపట్టటం జరిగాక, వారి స్థానాన్ని భూయజమానులైన శూద్రులలో కొందరు భర్తీచేసి నేడు నాయకులుగా చలామణీ అవుతున్నారు. నాయకత్వం,అధికారం, క్షాత్రం కొరకు అన్ని కులాలవారూ ఆవేశ పడుతూ ఉండగా అవకాశాలు కొందరికే దక్కుతున్నాయి. అత్యధిక సంఖ్యాకులైన శూద్రులు, పలువురు బ్రాహ్మణులు, వైశ్యులు, నేడు సేవా వృత్తిలోకి ప్రవేశించారు. జన్మచేత ఆపాదించబడిన విభజన రేఖ పూర్తిగా చెరిగి పోయి ఎవరు ఏవృత్తినైనా చేపట్టవచ్చు అనే స్వేఛ్చ 100% రావాలి కానే రాలేదు.

దీనికి తోడు పెట్టుబడిదారీ విధానం, వారసత్వజనిత ఆదాయ సంపద పంపిణీ వ్యత్యాసాలు, వ్యక్తుల స్వార్ధాలు, ప్రజల వెర్రి వ్యామోహాలు,నెహ్రూకుటుంబం వారే ప్రధానమంత్రులు, ఎంపీల కొడుకులే ఎంపీలు, ఎంఎల్ఏ లకొడుకులే ఎంఎల్ఏ లు, హీరోల కొడుకులే హీరోలు, డాక్టర్ల కొడుకులే డాక్టర్లు, ఐఏఎస్ ల కొడుకులే ఐఏఎస్ లు వంటి నూతన కుల వ్యవస్థను మన నెత్తిన రుద్దుతున్నాయి.

స్వాతంత్ర్యోద్యమ కాలం మనకు పలువురు గొప్ప మేథావులను, కార్యయోధులను ప్రసాదించింది.


కార్యయోధులలో అత్యంత అగ్ర గణ్యులు లోకమాన్య బాలగంగాధర తిలక్, మరియు మహాత్మా గాంధీ గారు. వీరిరువురూ గీతచేత అత్యంత అధికంగా ప్రభావితం అయిన వారే. గాంధీజీ గీత చేత ప్రభావితం అయినప్పటికీ, గీతపై సవివరమైన వ్యాఖ్యానం రచించే తీరిక వారికి దొరకలేదు. లోకమాన్యతిలక్ బ్రిటీష్ వారి ఆగ్రహానికి గురి యయి బర్మాలోని మాండలే చెరసాలలో ఏకాంతవాస శిక్ష అనుభవించిన కాలంలో, వారికా సావకాశం దొరికింది. వారిచే రచించ బడిన గీతా రహస్య షుమారు 1500 పేజీల సుదీర్ఘ గ్రంధం. మరాఠీభాషలో ఉంది. దాన్ని వారి మిత్రులే వారి అనుమతితో ఆంగ్లంలోకి అనువదించారు.

ఆనాటి దేశ కాల మాన పరిస్థితులను మనం దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుంటే తిలక్ మహారాజ్ కుల వ్యవస్థనుగానీ, అది బోధించిన అసమానతలను గానీ వ్యతిరేకిస్తారని మనం ఆశించరాదు. మోక్ష సన్యాస యోగంలో, 42,43, 44 శ్లోకాలపై తిలక్ మహారాజ్ అభిప్రాయాన్ని చూద్దాం. Page 620 of Gitarahasya.

The arrangement of the four classes has come into existence as a result of the differences between the inherently natural qualities; but it is not that this explanation has for the first time been given in the Gita. This explanation about the differences between the qualities has, with nominal differences, appeared in

i) in the conversation between Nahusha and Yudhishthira, and in the conversation between the Brahmin and the Hunter in the Vanaparva of the Mahabharata (vana 180 and 211);

ii) in the conversation between Bhrigu and Bharadvaja in the Santi parva (San 188); and

iii) in the conversation between Uma and mahEsvara in the anuSAsanaparva (Asva. 39. 11).

It has been stated before that the various actvities of the world result from the differences in the constituents of Prakriti; and it has been proved that the four-class-arrangement, which determines what each of these classes has to do, is itself the result of the difference in the constituents of Prakriti. The Blessed Lord now says, that

i)all these Actions must be carried on by everybody with a desireless frame of mind, that is, with the idea of dedicating them to the Paramesvara, as otherwise the world will not go on; that

ii) a man acquires Perfection when he conducts himself in this way; and that

iii) it is not necessary to perform any other austerity for obtaining Perfection.

నహుషుడు ధర్మరాజుకి చెప్పాడనో, ధర్మవ్యాధుడు కౌశికుడికి చెప్పాడనో, భృగువు భరద్వాజుడికి చెప్పాడనే, సాక్షాత్తూ భగవంతుడే అర్జునుడికి చెప్పాడనో, తిలక్ గారు చెప్పారనో, సర్వేపల్లిరాధాకృష్ణన్ గారు చెప్పారనో,రాజాగోపాలాచారి గారు చెప్పారనో, వివేకానందాగారు చెప్పారనో, సినిమాల్లో ఎన్ టీ ఆర్ గారు చెప్పారనో, ఘంటసాలగారు పాడారనో, అన్యాయాలన్నీ న్యాయాలయి పోవు. అలాగని, పెద్దలను కించపరచటం కూడ న్యాయంకాదు.
తెనాలి రామకృష్ణుడి చాటువు ఒకటి గుర్తుకు వస్తుంది:-

చంపకమాల.
తెలియని వన్ని తప్పులని దిట్ట తనాన సభాంతరంబునన్
పలుకగ రాదురోరి పలు మారు పిశాచపు పాడె గట్ట నీ
పలికిన నోట దుమ్ము వడ భావ్య మెరుంగక పెద్దలైన వా
రల నిరసింతువా ప్రగడ రాణ్ణరసా విరసా తుసా భుసా

అయినా తప్పటంలేదు. నా నోటిలో దుమ్ము పడితే పడును గాక.
పూర్వకాలపు పాలకులు, పండాలు కుమ్మక్కయ్యి, నిమ్న కులాలపై రుద్దిన అసమానతలను, -- తిలక్ మహారాజ్ గారు జన్మతో వచ్చే అసమానతలుగా భావించి , వాటిని ప్రకృతి పైకి నెట్టేశారు. ప్రకృతిలో మనుషుల శక్తియుక్తుల మధ్య కొన్ని అసమానతలు వచ్చేమాట నిజమే అయినా, వాటిని ఈపెట్టుబడిదారీ సమాజం అతిగా చిత్రిస్తున్నది. పృకృతి సహజంగా వచ్చే అసమానతలకు, పాలకులు-పండాలు, చట్టాలు, ఆచారాలు, సృష్టించే అసమానతలకు హస్తి మశకాంతరం ఉంటుంది.

తిలక్ గారే కాదు, మన బోధకులందరు గీతా వాక్యంగా చెప్పేది ఒకటే. చాకిరీ చేసే సమయంలో, పరమాత్మను సేవిస్తున్నాను , పరమాత్మాత్మార్పణం అనుకోమని. వినోబా భావే గారైతే ఒకడుగు ముందుకేసి 'ఒక వృధ్ద వనిత పిడకలు చేస్తు కృష్ణార్పణం అనుకున్నది. ఆపిడకలు వెళ్ళి శ్రీకృష్ణుడి ముఖానికి వెళ్ళి అతుక్కున్నాయి' అని ఒక పిట్ట కథను మనసుకు హత్తుకు పోయాలా జైల్లో ఖైదీలకు చెప్పారు.

అంటే, మన రజకులు మురికి బట్టలు ఉతుక్కుంటూ, చర్మకారులు పశువుల చర్మాలను కడుక్కుంటూ, సఫాయివాలాలు పాయఖానాలను శుభ్రం చేస్తూ, స్వీపర్లు వీధులు ఊడుస్తూ జీవితాంతమూ గడపాల్సిందేనా? అనే ప్రశ్న రాకపోతే మనం సత్య శోథకులం కాలేము.

హీరోల కొడుకులు హీరోలుగా, ఆటో డ్రైవర్ల కొడుకులు ఆటో డ్రైవర్లకొడుకులు ఆటో డ్రైవర్లుగా ఇలా ఎంతకాలం?

సమానతలు అసాధ్యం, సమానావకాశాలు అనే సిధ్ధాంతాన్ని పలువురు పండితులు ముందుకు తెచ్చారు. వారిలో విశ్వవిఖ్యాత పండితుడు డాక్టర్ సర్వేపల్లి రాధాకృష్ణన్ (ష్ణ య్య) గారు కూడ ఉన్నారు. వారి గీతానువాదం 1948లో లండన్ లో ప్రచురించబడి, యూరో అమెరికన్ల ప్రశంసలు కూడ అందుకున్నది. మో.స.యోగం 42,43, 44 శ్లోకాలపై రాధాక్రిష్ణయ్యగారి అభిప్రాయాన్ని మరొకసారి పరిశీలిద్దాం.

సమానత్వం లేకపోతే పోనీ, కనీసం సమానావకాశాలైనా లభిస్తున్నాయా? సమానావకాశాలు లభిస్తే సోనియా గాంధీ కాంగ్రెస్ అధ్యక్షురాలు, రాహుల్ గాంధీ కాంగ్రెస్ ఉపాధ్యక్షురాలు కొద్దీకాలం లోనే ఎలా కాగలిగారు? జిల్లా స్థాయి నేతలు, రాష్ట్ర స్థాయి నేతలు, పలువురు సీనియర్ కేంద్ర మంత్రులు, కాంగ్రెస్ అధ్యక్ష పదవికి, ప్రధాని పదవికి పనికి రాకుండా ఎందుకు పోయారు? సీల్డ్ కవర్ సంస్కృతి ఎలా ప్రవేశించింది?

ఇందిరాగాంధీ పోయిన మర్నాడే రాజీవ్ గాంధీ పట్టాభిషేకం ఎలా జరిగింది? ఆయనను , ఆయన పార్టీని జనం అతి పెద్ద మెజారిటీతో ఎలా గెలిపించారు? ధీరూభాయ్ అంబానీగారి అబ్బాయి ముఖేష్ అంబానీ భారతీయుల్లో అత్యధిక ధనికుడు ఎలా కాగలిగాడు? రాజశేఖర పుత్ర జగన్మోహన్ శాతకర్ణి లక్ష కోట్లకు ఎలా అధిపతి కాగలిగాడు?

శరీర కష్టం అవసరమైన, లేక ప్రమాదకరమైన, లేక ఇబ్బంది కరమైన పనులు చేయటానికి ఎవరో ఒకరు కావాలిగా అనే వాళ్ళు ఉన్నారు. తాము మాత్రమే గొప్ప గొప్ప పనులు చేసి సమాజాన్ని ఉధ్ధరిస్తున్నామనుకునే నేతలు,ఆధికారులు, డాక్టర్లు, యాక్టర్లు, లాయర్లు, క్రికెటర్లు, చార్టటర్డ్ ఎకౌంటెంట్లు, స్వాములవార్లు, రోజుకో రెండు గంటలు ఈ శరీర కష్టం అవసరమైన, లేక ప్రమాదకరమైన, లేక ఇబ్బంది కరమైన పనులు చేయటానికి ముందుకు రావచ్చు. ప్రభుత్వం చట్టాలు, నిబంధనలు, సంస్థలద్వారా ఈ రొటేషన్ ను అమలులోకి తేగలిగితే, నేడు కొన్ని వర్గాలవారిపై మాత్రమే పడుతున్న ఈ భారం అన్ని వర్గాలకు పంచి నట్లు అవుతుంది కదా. ఊరికే dignity of labor అని ఉపన్యాసాలిస్తే ప్రయోజనం ఏముంటుంది?

సామాజికన్యాయంతో కొన్ని వోట్లను పోగేసుకున్న చిరంజీవి గారేమంటారో?
