What I wish to cover in this post: His reply in reference to the expensive suit of Rs. 1 million worne by Mr. Narendra Modi in his appearance with Mr. Barack Obama, President of the U.S. I shall quote the question and answer from Mr. SN Singh's interview:

What about the controversy over the Prime Minister’s expensive suit?

The suit was auctioned and the money is going towards cleaning the Ganga. But let me say that the 1950s style of politics, that a politician needs to wear khadi is not the right way. Things have changed. By wearing rubber slippers and a khadi saree you don’t become an honest politician. Also, let me say that the Congress didn’t suit India so they got the boot.

Who bore the Rs. 1 million cost of the suit? As per media reports, some aficionado businessperson - industrialist might have borne its cost. Initially it may be out of devotion or patriotism. But, there is always a possibility, that he may seek some thing in return for his favor, at a later date.

Ans: This jibe is intended against Ms. Mamata Banerjee, present CM of Bengal, who wears Khadi sarees and rubber slippers.

Question: Will suit-boot wearing politicians be more honest, or khadi-rubber-slipper wearing politicians will be more honest?

Ans: There is no link between dress and honesty/dishonesty of a politician. A simple poor looking politician may be muddy corrup behind screens, and vice versa.

Question: What type of dress codes you will suggest for Marxist / Communist / Total Socialist Democratic Revolution activists?

Ans: First of all, I do not accept the idea of the word "politician". Every citizen, in TOTAL DEMOCRATIC REVOLUTION is a politician, or better phrases: worker politician or, political worker, in his-her own right. They need no dress codes, dress senses. But, it will be better, they follow some dress science. These three terms, I shall discuss in my next blog post, Part 2.

Question: Be specific. What should political workers , or worker politicians should wear?

Ans: What they wear everyday, when they go to their work. It can be a suit, or a lungi or a tea shirt or jeans, anything under the sky, including a fig leaf, or a gOcI (the bearest loin cloth) as long as it fulfils the requirement of being his-her daily wear.

In Telugu language, we have a maxim: "pilli kAdu mArjAlam!". Its approximate English gist is "Not cat, but grimalkin or pussy!" .

तॆलुगु भाषा में एक कहावत है कि: पिल्लि कादु मार्जालम। इस कहावत की मतलब यह है: बिल्ली नहीं., मार्जाल।

తెలుగు భాషలో ఒక లోకోక్తి ఉంది: పిల్లి కాదు మార్జాలం !

This proverb is used when persons persist with the same thing, in spite of criticisms, demors, and objections. They simply remove the word which faced a hurdle, replace it with another word which means the same thing, just to show that , they are making changes. But no change is made in reality. In the above proverb pilli and mArjAlam mean the same thing. Billi and mArjAl mean the same thing in Hindi. Cat and grimalkin mean the same things with minor variations.

Recently, the Congress of the Communist Party of India Marxist (CPIM or CPM) held its jamboree Congress in Visakhapatnam. They replaced their Party's General Secretary Mr. Prakash Karat with Mr. Seetharam Yechury. They tried to create an impression that they are going to rebuild the party afresh, changing everything.

But indications are, that nothing drastic will really take place.

Let us take for example: In Bihar, CPM may allow its State Unit to make seat adjustments with Laloo-Nitish Combine, along with Bihar's Congress Party. In West Bengal, since Ms. Mamata Banerjee has become formidable (दुर्जय), CPIM may allow its Bengal State Unit to have electoral seat adjustments with Congress.

CPIM top bosses should understand that playing second fiddle to Congress and Regional Parties, in the name or electoral alliances or seat adjustments, has ruined the Party, because by doing so, CPM will be indirectly asking its supporters to vote for the bourgeoisie parties. Even after elections, CPIM will have to, and will continue its soft pedalling with the bourgeoisie parties.

In Telugu language, there is another proverb: Aru nelalu sahavAsam cEstE, aTu vALLiTu, iTu vALLaTu avutAru. Approximate English gist: When two persons make friendship for six months, both the parties exchange their characters and characteristics, and barter their personalities. That means a left party like CPM will become a bourgeoisie party, and bourgeoisie parties like Lalu-Nitish combine, Congress will behave like Leftist Parties.

మమతా మరియు మోడీ ల మధ్య జరుగుతున్న వాగ్ యుధ్ధం వోటు బ్యాంకు రాజకీయమే. అయినా మూల వివాదాన్ని, దానిలోంచి పుట్టే ప్రశ్నలను, భారత కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం నిపుణుల చేత పరిశీలింప చేయవలసి ఉన్నది. అవి:

1. తూర్పు పాకిస్థాన్ (ఇపుడు బంగ్లాదేశ్) , పశ్చిమ పాకిస్థాన్ మరియు భారత్ ల మధ్య 1947లో జరిగిన విభజన మతపరమైనదా కాదా?

2. మత పరమైనదే అయితే జనాభాల మార్పిడి అప్పుడే పూర్తి స్థాయిలో జరిగి ఉండ వలసినది. జరగలేదు. కొందరు హిందువులు అక్కడ ఉండిపోయారు. కొందరు ముస్లిములు ఇక్కడ ఉండి పోయారు.

4. తమిళం మాట్లాడినంత మాత్రాన శ్రీలంక తమిళులు భారతీయ తమిళులు కాలేరు. బెంగాలీ మాట్లాడినంత మాత్రాన బంగ్లా జాతీయులు భారతీయ బెంగాలీలు కాలేరు. వారు భారతదేశంలోకి అనుమతి పత్రాలు లేకుండా వచ్చారంటే చొరబాటు దారులే అవుతారు. వారిని చట్టప్రకారం గెంటి వేయాల్సి వస్తుంది. వారికి వోటింగు హక్కులు ఇవ్వటం కుదరదు. రేషన్ కార్డులు ఇవ్వటం కుదరదు.

మోడీ గారి మాటలను బట్టి చూస్తుంటే, ఆయన బెంగాల్ నుండి భారత్ లోకి పారిపోయి వచ్చిన, లేక చొరబడ్డ హిందువులకు పౌరసత్వం ఇవ్వటానికి, వారినుండి వోట్లు రాబట్టుకోటానికి సిధ్ధంగా ఉన్నారు. ఆయన దృష్టిలో ముస్లిములను మాత్రమే చొరబాటు దారులుగా పరిగణించాలి.

మమతా గారి మాటలని బట్టి చూస్తుంటే, తనకు వోటేసే వాళ్ళు, బెంగాలీలయి ఉంటే చాలు. హిందువులైనా , ముస్లిములైనా చొరబాటుదారులుగా పరిగణించబడరు.

శరణార్ధుల సమస్య

శరణార్ధికి చొరబాటుదారుకి తేడా మనం గుర్తించటం అవసరం. శరణార్ధి కేవలం తన ప్రాణ రక్షణ కొరకు భారత్ లో కి ప్రవేశిస్తాడు. అతడు సాధారణ నేరగాడు గానీ, ఉపాధి వెతుక్కునే వాడు గానీ కాదు. అతడికి ప్రాణాపాయం లేకుంటే, అతడు భారత్ కి రాడు. వచ్చినా రెండు మూడు సంవత్సరాల కన్నా ఉండకూడదు. అతడికి మనం వోటింగ్ రైట్స్ ఎన్నటికీ ఇవ్వలేం. తాత్కాలికంగా వారిని గుడారాలలో ఉంచి వారికి తాత్కాలిక రేషన్ కార్డులను ఇవ్వాల్సి ఉంటుంది.

ఇక్కడ సమస్య ఏమిటంటే, వారిని వారి మాతృదేశం ఎన్నటికీ వెనక్కి తీసుకోటానికి ఇష్టపడకపోతే వారిని ఏమి చేయాలి? వారికి భారత పౌరసత్వం ఇచ్చి 128 కోట్లమంది భారతీయులలో కలిపేసుకోవాలా? మనది ఇప్పటికే అధిక జనాభా గల దేశం. ఇంక అదనపు జనాభాను మోయలేం. అంతే కాకుండా, శరణార్ధులకు మనం ఉదారంగా పౌరసత్వం ఇస్తున్నామని తెలిస్తే, బంగ్లాదేశ్, పాకిస్థాన్ , శ్రీలంక, చైనా (టిబెట్, ఉలుఘూ ) దేశాలు మనకి శరణార్ధులని సరఫరా చేయటానికి సిధ్ధంగా ఉంటాయి.

మతం గానీ, కులం గానీ, భాష గానీ విఛ్ఛిన్నం అయ్యే స్వభావం కలవాళ్ళను (groups with fissiparous tendencies, separatist tendencies) ఎక్కువ కాలం కలిపి ఉంచలేవని బంగ్లాదేశ్ అవతరణ, తెలంగాణ అవతరణ ఋజువు చేశాయి. తెల్లవాళ్ళు (యూరప్, అమెరికా, ఆస్ట్రేలియా, కెనడా, న్యూజీలాండ్) శ్వేత జాత్యహంకారంతో ఒకటిగా ఉన్నట్లు కనిపించినా , వారిలోనూ లుకలుకలు ఉన్నాయి. లేకపోతే రెండు ప్రపంచ యుధ్ధాలు ఎలా జరుగుతాయి. ఉక్రెయిన్ లో నేడు జరుగుతున్నది రష్యా యూరప్ ల మధ్య ప్రాక్సీ యుధ్ధమే కదా.

కాబట్టి వోట్లకొరకు గానీ, వోట్లేతరం కొరకు గానీ, చొరబాటుదారులను ప్రోత్సహించటం మంచిది కాదు. వారు హిందువులయితే నేను రెడీ అని మోడీ గారనటం, వారు బెంగాలీలయితే ముస్లిములయినా సరే నేను మీరక్షకురాలనని మమతాగారు పోజు కొట్టటం, దేశాన్ని చొరబాటుదారులతో నింపేస్తుంది. ఈ వ్యాఖ్య శ్రీలంక తమిళుల విషయంలో తమిళనాడు పార్టీలకు కూడ వర్తిస్తుంది.

సారం: అబధ్ధాలు ఆడే ఒకడిని గాడిద కొడకా అని తిట్తే, గాడిద కూడ, వీడా నా కొడుకు అని ఏడ్చింది.
