Salaried and incentivised preachers of all religions, all over the world, convert people from one religion to another, by promising and guaranteeing at the top of their voices that the God they canvass, alone is the SOLE CUSTODIAN of humans on this Earth, and that He alone will save the people, that too only if such people convert into the PREACHERS' RELIGION, from their BIRTH RELIGIONS. Money is used for large scale propaganda. Huge prayer-houses are built spending millions of bucks received from abroad. Yet, we see from numerous instances, that the supposed SAVIOR fails to SAVE. The God, who declares for Himself, that He alone saves appears no where, when lives are lost. Are all those who die in the mishaps, man-made or God-made, are sinners, condemned to death by God Himself? If this is the fate of people who believe and pray, how could non-believers live normal lives, with normal gains and losses, WITHOUT ANY SAVIORS?

"Aguardianism" which this blog without any salary or incentives, tries to spread means "There is no guardian", which means that "there is no savior".

There is no intent to pin-point only one religion or only one God as something which lacks this protection. It is happening in almost all the religions, all prayer houses, all religious festivals and fairs.

There are many things which science cannot prove. Then, we can't say that they do not exist. E.g. We get hurt when somebody says that we have no buddhi (common meaning in Telugu intelligence. Atheism, or Atheists are misunderstood, worldwide. This is because of lack of , what we call in legal lingo, absence of "consensus-id-edem".

There are no universally accepted definition of Gods(Goddesses). There may be several common threads among most religions. But, yet, the definition of God is too broad, and all-encompassing.

If we take the restricted meaning of God as some "Super-human force", probably even atheists will agree that God exists, and they will not ask our pravachana sarasvati to show God.

At least for 90% of Indians both preachers and lay persons, the word God(Goddess) includes a thousand things, apart from being a "Super-human force".

You go to any temple. Ask the priest about the God at that particular temple. Or you can see TV programs which show temple videos. At some point of time, the mike is handed over to EO, one or two priests, some devotees visiting the temple. While the Executive Officer says that he is improving the facilities at the temple, what do others say? The Priests will say that the God(ddess) there is very very powerful. They will assure all the desires of the devotees will be fulfilled. Those who do not get children, will get children. Those who are unmarried, will get married. Those who do not have jobs , will get jobs. Those who are having business losses, will have a turnaround. All the incurable diseases will be cured. If there are court cases, devotees will win. They will also tell some tales of somebody refusing get his-her head tonsured at the temple, and their getting punished by Lord. According to the stories, the disobeying person, when he immerses his head in temple tank (pushkariNi), his-her head will get automatically tonsured. Then that disobeying person abandons his defiance, and becomes a more ardent devotee than the Priests themselves.

When mike is handed over to devotees, devotees also tell that they come to the place everyyear. They confirm that all their desires are fulfilled.

What is the reality?

Fulfillment of desires of large groups will be subject to Theory of probabilities.

Indians have craze for male children. Whether we like it or not , it is a fact, that both husband and wife pray for male children. Wife prays for a male baby because she does not want to face the ignominy of a woman who always breeds female babies and abused by in-laws.

If 100 pregnant-child-expecting couples to a temple, praying for male children, about 60% of them may get male babies and 40% may get female babies. (Or vice versa i.e. about 60% female babies and 40% male babies. Or any other % within these bonds of this 60 - 40, such as 55-45, 58-42, 52-48 etc. etc. This is built in the nature itself. It is a part of human evolution, where the human species self-developed a genetic mechanism where there will be balance between number of males and females, which should be nearly equal.

After visiting the prayer houses, those couples who get male children will be happy and start worshipping the God(ddess) with doubled faith. Those who get female babies will blame their karma (Swami Vivekananda method), and pray again, if necessary by changing Gods. If necessary they will not mind worshipping even humans such as Shirdi Sai Baba, Puttaparti Sai Baba, et al. Some may even change to alien religions, if alien religion preachers convince them that they will children/male children by worshipping alien Gods.

Suppose the couple who shift to the alien religion get a male child , then they will become staunch believers in the God / Godman, throw away hundreds of thousands of Rupees as a token of their gratitude, and even start preaching their new alien religion. Raja of Khetri Ajith Singh [he gave the name Swami Vivekananda to Narendranath (he was using two or three other Ananda suffixed names, including another suffix Paramahamsa)], because Ajith Singh believed that he got a son, by the grace of Swami Vivekananda.

So, the Central them of the 21st Century Definition of God is a "fulfiller of desires". For that we have to pray, and he will listen. And the condition is, it will not be sufficient if we pray at our home. We have to go to that particular temple and pray, as far as possible, get some special worships done by the priests (both Indian Religions and alien religions).

Guardian means somebody who protects, takes care of. గార్డియన్ అంటే రక్షకుడు. This guardianship also includes Judgeship. The generally accepted God is expected not only to protect, but also judge people. 99% of Indians believe in the system of God acting as Guardian of individuals, whatever religion they may belong to.

"A" is a prefix which has several meanings when prefixed to English and Sanskrit words. One of the meanings, A = opposite, not. Eg. moral, amoral. Theist, atheist. In the same way, the word which I am coining , i.e. Aguardianism means the theory that God does not exist in the meaning of a protector and Judge. Existence of God(desses) in the meaning of "Nature or, Superhuman force" is a different thing.

Many innocent persons, and persons who are lazy enough not to explore truth, when they see on TV channels discourse makers who repeatedly support the beliefs of the viewers, just to make some good name and some moolah from their discourses, such gullible viewers become possessed and continue with their beliefs, ignoring facts which prove that their beliefs to be nothing but irrational or superstitious.

People hire vehicles to go to pilgrim centres. After praying the Gods and Goddesses for protection and support, while coming back they perish in motor accidents. Then what happened for the protection, to which they ought to have been entitled to having prayed the Gods and Goddesses, after spending so much money, time, and attention?

This criticism of the TV discourser has become necessary as he tried to mock at atheists by a clever interpretation of his own.

This discourser or the atheist have not bothered about the definition of God. Even atheists, as being supporters of science and scientific methods of experimentation and investigation, do not dispute the existence of super-human forces present all around us. If super-human forces themselves are called "Gods and Goddesses" without any other attributes prefixed or suffixed thereto, then, probably all atheists have turn into theists.

So far, there are no precise, exact definitions of Gods (or Goddesses). If we go by some of the attributes attached to the so called Gods and Goddesses as those who will listen to our prayers, protect us, fulfil our wishes, punish our enemies, then we must say that there are no such protective or punitive Gods and Goddesses. For the purpose of this type of common place definition, there is no God at all. Atheism holds good.

The problem with most of our discoursers is, they want to play to the beliefs of the audiences, for earning and securing their (discourser) livelihood, purchase of gold ear-rings, svarna ratna kankaNa dhAraNas (gem-studded gold wrist bands), special titles, etc. In such situations truth becomes a casuality.

There are no Gods and Goddesses in the meaning of "protectors" and "punishers". But there are Gods and Goddesses in the meaning of Super-human powers. But again there is no proof, that our prayers and worships reach the so-called super-human powers whatever they are. Even if we convert our prayers into Arabic or Latin or Armanic or Sanskrit, and relay them through paid priests / mullahs / pastors, yet there is no proof that the super-human forces can here them.

If somebody says that I shall pray the super-human forces, with no desires, just for the sake of peace of my mind, there will be nothing wrong in that. But all such prayers, meditations will only serve as fillers-of-time in human lives. When compared to whiling away time in booze in bars, and filling bellies with all types of trash, prayers and meditations on superhuman powers, albeit may be fillers, will certainly be better to human body and mind.

The question "Does God really exist?" is thousands of years old.

Answer for this complex, disputed, ethereal, sticky, tricky, question lies in the definition of the word "God".

There are several threads of multi-twined-yarn, in this grand rope of the word "God".

The foremost two threads, we shall take up.


1. Question प्रश्न ప్రశ్న : Whether God as a "Super-human force exist?".

Answer जवाब జవాబు:   Human, has not as on date, conquered all the forces not only in this expansive universe, but also even on this congested earth. He-she (humans) are on the way of conquering nature (a component of the superhuman force, call it God or by any name). Probably they will succeed. People living in the 21st Century may not live to see it. Hence, it will become worthwhile to say that superhuman forces exist, and one of the attributes of God as a superhuman force holds good as on today. Once humans, with the help of science and technology conquer all the superhuman forces on Earth (conquering Universe comes later), this attribute of God as a superhuman force will have to pave way to something else.


Question प्रश्न ప్రశ్న : Whether God can punish us, reward us, save us?

Answer जवाब జవాబు: No proof of such capabilities or dispositions of God. On the other hand, proofs of a negative answer, we can get abundantly. Best very recent example: 23 people went from Vizianagaram in the Northern-most tip of Andhra Pradesh , about 700km far, to Tirumala situated in the southern most tip of Andhra Pradesh, with all faith and sincerity. The Head of the family was the owner of the vehicle, and he himself was driving it. Every one of them might have prayed to Lord Venkateswara with great devotion, with a hope that they will get optimum rewards, least punishments, and full safety. 

But what happened? While returning, the vehicle fell from the bridge of the Dhawaleswaram Barrage into Godavari River, and 21 people perished. Only one boy survived.



Question प्रश्न ప్రశ్న: Is God pray-able? Is God worship-able? Is God feed-able? Is God wash-able and bath-able? Does God receive communications? Does God respond to such communications? Which language does God speak, or understand?  Does God have sex?  Why does n't God in some religions is called "He", "Father", and yet He does not have a wife, and the humans who are his sons, do not have a Mother?

Answer जवाब జవాబు: No proof of God's pray-ability. No proof of God's worship-ability. No proof of God's feed-ability. No proof of God's wash-ability and bath-ability. No proof of God's receiving communications. No proof of God's responding to communications.

Gods cannot hear or speak languages. Of course, preachers will, always say that God is omniscient and knows all languages. But the same preachers run the prayer houses, and most prayers are made in Latin, Arabic-Persian, and Sanskrit. Preachers seem to believe and propagate that God listens better and more, if prayed in Arabic or Latin or Sanskrit, and for that purpose, priests are engaged, paying hefty amounts.


Question प्रश्न ప్రశ్న:   What is the purpose of this blog post?

Answer जवाब జవాబు:   I felt that there is a need to clarify into our approaches and thinking. Atheism seems to concentrate more on proving and spreading the fact that there is no God. Suggested clarified approach: Although a God(dess) in the meaning of a superhuman force may exist (or may not exist), he-she does not exist in the meaning of a receiver of human feedings, kneelings, prayers, prostrations, salutes, and worships. It will be futile to pray/worship any force of Nature, Universe calling them as God(dess), whether using idols as tools, or without using tools, turning to a pulpit or a wall.


Question प्रश्न ప్రశ్న Can we apply this to sUrya namaskArs also?

Definitely. Sun is a very huge gaseous sphere. We may get energy, light from that gaseous body. Our survival itself, may depend on the sunlight and sun's rays, umpteen things like photo-synthesis. Yet we cannot call a gaseous average sized body in the cosmos, as God, personifying it. There is no need or question of prostrating before the gaseous star, imagining it to be a God by name "Sun".

As a form of physical exercise, sUrya namaskArs may be good. But the name sUrya namaskArs becomes irrational, whether such physical exercises are performed facing the Sun, or indoors.


However, to perform Surya namaskars simply as physical exercise or physical exercise + prayer to personified Sun God, can be left to individuals.  Better, if the State does not make it a controversial topic, by trying to impose it.    Nobody forces people to buy cell phones or download porn videos.   Yet millions of Indians and millions of people of the world do it, quite voluntarily, because they get some pleasure in it.  If they can find same kind of joy in doing Surya Namaskar's, it will be well and good. 

Conclusion:  People's' Choices between Surya Namaskars and mobile porn essentially depend on hitam (what is good and secure for them) and priyam (what is liked by them- whether good or not).
