ybrao-a-donkey's note: This is a very old proverb of Telugu language. As per the proverb, entering into huts of gypsies, by the moral preachers, is for the presumed purpose of prostitution. The word "dommari" meant drimmari or tramps. Some tramps of those days (some centuries back) might have been forced into enter into prostitution for survival as they do not have their own agricultural farms. Anyway, this WIDE VARIANCE between preaching and practice is a world-wide phenomenon, common in all cultures, Nations, and Religions. It is very difficult to maintain impartiality for a writer.  हमारे जैसे छोटे लेखक लोगों को निष्पक्षपात रहित दिखना कभी कभी मुष्किल होता है।  మాలాంటి చిన్న రచయితలకు నిష్పక్షపాతంగా కనిపించేలా వ్రాయటం చాల కష్టం.   సంస్కృతంలో ఒక లోకోక్తి ఉంది.  సత్యం బ్రూయత్, ప్రియం బ్రూయత్, నబ్రూయత్ సత్యం అప్రియం.  దీని అర్ధం ఏమిటంటే, నిజం చెప్పు, ప్రియం చెప్పు, అప్రియమైన సత్యాన్ని చెప్పద్దు.   అయితే ఈ సూక్తి రాజుల దగ్గర, జమీందార్ల దగ్గర, పెద్దవ్యాపారుల దగ్గర సేవలు చేసే వాళ్ళు వాడుకోవాల్సింది.  ఎందుకంటే వాళ్ళకి కోపం వస్తే, కొరడా దెబ్బలు తగలచ్చు, లేకపోతే రావాల్సిన అనుగ్రహ రాశులు రాకపోవచ్చు.

 అందరూ భజనపరులే అయితే, రాజుగారు కట్టుకున్న దేవతా వస్త్రాలు ఉత్తుత్తివే అని చెప్పటానికి తనకి ఏది లాభమో, ఏది నష్టమో పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకోలేని బాలుడు కావాల్సి వస్తుంది.

 నా అభిప్రాయం ఏమిటంటే, మనం ప్రియమైనా, అప్రియమైనా సత్యాన్ని చెప్పాల్సిందే.   ప్రియమా కాదా అనేది కాదు చూసుకోవాల్సింది.  ప్రజలకి హితమా కాదా అనేది చూసుకోవాలి.  హితం అంటే మేలు చేస్తుందా, చేయదా, అని.  కొన్ని సార్లు మనం మేలు చేసే విషయాలను చెప్పినా జనం బూతులు తిట్తూ ఉంటారు.  దానికి మనం సిధ్ధపడాల్సిందే.   ఇక్కడ సంస్కృతంలో ఒక శ్లోకాన్ని గుర్తుకు తెచ్చుకుంటే, మనం గ్లాని స్థానంలో మనో స్థైర్యాన్ని పొందుతాం.

నిందంతు నీతి నిపుణాం యది వా స్తువంతు
లక్ష్మీ సమావిశతు వా గఛ్ఛతువా యథేష్టం
అద్యైవవా మరణమస్తు యుగాంతరే వా

ఇది భర్తృహరి మహాకవి విరచితం.  దీని భావం, నీతి నిపుణులైన వారు నిందించినా , డబ్బులు (లక్ష్మి) వచ్చినా పోయినా, ఈక్షణమే మరణం వచ్చినా, యుగాంతంలో వచ్చినా, ధీరులైన వాళ్ళు న్యాయమైన మార్గం నుండి చరించరు.  ఇపుడు శ్రీ రాజశేఖర్ రెడ్డిగారు చూడండి, షుమారు లక్షకోట్ల దాకా జగన్ కి సంపాదించి పెట్టి ఏమి మూటకట్టుకున్నట్లు.  కనీసం చీపురు పుల్లకూడ స్మశానానికి రాలేదు.  సాదా గానే మట్టిలో కలిసిపోవాల్సి వచ్చింది.  శ్రీజగన్ పితృవియోగం లోంచి తగినంత నీతిని వైరాగ్యాన్ని పొందుతాడని మనలో కొందరు ఆశించి ఉండచ్చు.  అలా జరగలేదు.

నేను నూటికి నూరు పాళ్ళు న్యాయ మార్గంలో వెళ్తున్నానని డబాయించలేను కానీ ప్రయత్నిస్తున్నానని గట్టిగా చెప్పగలను.  నా నిజాయతిలో లోపం చేయనివ్వననే హామీ ఇవ్వగలరు.  మీరు ఎపుడైనా నేను భిన్న మార్గంలో వెళ్తున్నట్లు గమనిస్తే సరిదిద్దటానికి ప్రయత్నించవచ్చు.  నేను, జగన్ తో పోలిస్తే శ్రీ చంద్రబాబు నాయుడుని, సోనియాతో పోలిస్తే శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోడీని ఎక్కువగా దుయ్యబడుతున్నట్లుగా కనిపించటానికి కారణం, శ్రీ నాయుడు, శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోడీ అధికారంలో ఉండటమే. 

శ్రీ జగన్, సోనియాలు వారు తిరిగి అధికారంలోకి వచ్చే దాకా వారిని మనం పెద్దగా పట్టించుకోవాల్సిన అవసరం ఉండదు.  అధికారం పోగొట్టుకున్న వాళ్ళు సగం చచ్చిన పాములతో సమానులే, ఎందుకంటే, లోకం వాళ్ళను పట్టించుకోదు.  వాళ్ళు తాము పోగొట్టుకున్న అధికారాన్ని చేజిక్కించుకోటానికి ఏవో ప్రయత్నాలు చేస్తూ ఉంటారు.  రకరకాల చప్పుళ్ళు ఆరోపణలు చేస్తూ ఉంటారు.  వారికి చట్టసభలలో తగినంత బలం ఉంటే తప్ప వాళ్ళు ఎంత గింజుకున్నా , బుస కొట్టినా ప్రయోజనం ఉండదు.  వాళ్ళు బుసకొట్టటమే తప్ప ప్రజలకు చేయగలిగే మేలు, కానీ కీడు కానీ పెద్దగా ఉండదు.  వారు తాము పదవి కోల్పోయిన కాలాన్ని అంతర్ వీక్షణ (introspection, अंतर वीक्षण, अंतर दर्शन) కొరకు వినియోగించి, మద్యపాన వ్యతిరేక ప్రచారం, ఖాదీ ప్రచారం, విద్యా ప్రచారం, వ్యవసాయం, నీటి వనరుల పరిరక్షణ మొదలగు రాజకీయేతర అంశాలలో నిర్మాణాత్మక కృషి చేస్తే, పదవిలేని ఐదు సంవత్సరాలు ఉస్సూరు మనకుండా నల్లేరు మీద బండిలాగా గడిచి పోతాయి.  వాళ్ళు అలా చేయకుండా అధికార పక్షం పై విరుచుకు పడటం వల్ల ప్రజలకు అనవసరమైన  బాధలు కలుగుతున్నాయి.


మీరు నా బ్లాగ్ యొక్క ముఖ్య లక్ష్యాన్ని చదివినట్లు లేదు.  అది నాస్తికత్వాన్ని, సమతా వాదాన్ని, మార్క్సిజాన్ని ప్రచారం చేయటం.  నా దృష్టిలో వ్యక్తుల ప్రవర్తన పెట్టుబడి విధానం, న్యాయమా అన్యాయమా అనే పట్టించుకోకుండా అతితక్కువ సమయంలో అతిఎక్కువ డబ్బు సంపాదించాలనే దురాశ చేత అతి తీవ్రంగా ప్రభావితం అవుతుంది.  కుక్క అతి తీవ్రమైన వాసన వచ్చే కుళ్ళిన ఎముకనే అమృతతుల్యంగా భావించినట్లుగా,  అంబానీ, టాటా, ల దగ్గరనుండి గుంటూరు సిటీలో రేషన్ కిరసనాయిలును లీటర్ యాభయి రూపాయలకి విక్రయించే అవ్వ వరకు, ప్రతివాళ్ళూ డబ్బుకు లోకం దాసోహం గా ఇటీజ్ ఎ మాడ్ మాడ్ వరల్డ్ గా మారి, తమ జీవితాలను దుఃఖ మయంగా చేసుకోటమే కాకుండా, తమ చుట్టూ ఉండే వాళ్ళ జీవితాలను కూడ దుఃఖమయంగా చేయటాన్ని మనం చూస్తున్నాం.  దీనిలో మనం తప్పు పట్టాల్సింది టాటాను కాదు, కిరోసిన్ బ్లాక్ చేసే అవ్వనూ కాదు.  వాళ్ళంతా తోలు బొమ్మలు లాంటి వాళ్ళు.  అసలు విలన్ లు పెట్టుబడిదారీ విధానం, ప్రైవేటు ఆస్తి, వారసత్వ సంక్రమణాలు, సత్తుకు అసత్తుకు, చిత్తుకు జడానికి గల తేడాని గుర్తించే శక్తిని కోల్పోటం.

ఆంగ్లంలో ఒక సామెత ఉంది.  దీ పీపుల్ గెట్ ది గవర్నమెంట్ దే డిజర్వు.  ప్రజలు ఎలాంటి ప్రభుత్వాన్ని పొందటానికి అర్హులో, అలాంటి ప్రభుత్వాన్నే పొందుతారు.   సమాజంలో వర్గాల పాత్రను గుర్తించి, సరియైన సిధ్ధాంతాలను ఏర్పరుచుకోలేని, ఒక్క రోజైనా తమ దురలవాట్లను ప్రక్కన పెట్టుకోలేని కోట్లాది మంది ప్రజలు వోట్లు వేసినపుడు మోడీలు, సోనియాలు, చం.బా. నాయుళ్ళు, రాజశేఖర్ రెడ్లు, జగన్ లు ఇంకా ఎందరో అధికారంలోకి రావటం, ఒక ఐదేళ్ళో పదేళ్ళో ప్రజలను పీడించటం మనం చూస్తున్నాం.

కాబట్టి మిత్రమా, మనం రాగ ద్వేషాలనుండి, వ్యక్తి పూజలనుండి, వ్యక్తి ద్వేషాలనుండి బయట పడటం తక్షణ అవసరం.  లేదంటే, ౨౦౧౯ నాటికి మనపై చీకట్లు ఇంకా ఎక్కువ ముసురుతాయి.

నేను ఇక్కడ చేస్తున్నది ఏకాకి ప్రయత్నం.  చండీగఢ్ నగరంలో నేకీ చంద్ అనే వ్యక్తి మునిసిపల్ చెత్త పారేసే గ్రౌండ్ లో పారేసిన గాజు పింగాణీ ఇతర ముక్కలను వినియోగించి కొన్ని తనకు నచ్చిన బొమ్మలను తయారు చేసుకున్నాడు.  ఇపుడు శ్రీ నేకీచంద్ స్వర్గస్థుడయ్యారు.  మనం చండీఘర్ వెళ్ళినపుడు నేకీచంద్ మ్యూజియాన్ని చూడచ్చు.  ఆయన స్ఫూర్తితో నేను ఇంటర్ నెట్ లో ౧౫,౦౦౦ ఏ౪ పేజీలు దాకా వ్రాయటం జరిగింది.  వీటిల్లో ౮౦ శాతం దాకా ఆంగ్లం.  ఇపుడిపుడే తెలుగులో హిందీలో ఎక్కువగా వ్రాస్తున్నాను.  దురదృష్టవశాత్తు శ్రీమోడీని, శ్రీ బాబుని ఎక్కువగా విమర్శించటం జరిగింది.  వారు ప్రస్తుతం అధికారంలో ఉండటం ఒక కారణం కావచ్చు.  అంతే తప్ప బాబు ద్వేషం కాని, జగన్ పై అనురాగం గానీ లేదు.   నిస్సంగం (without attachment or hatred) గానే వ్రాయటం జరిగింది.

అయితే వాక్కు ఒక్కటే పవిత్రంగా ఉంటే సరిపోతుందని నేను అనుకోను.  ఆలోచనలకు తగిన వాక్కు, వాక్కుకు తగిన ప్రవర్తన, ఈమూడింటిని కలిపితే మనం త్రికరణశుధ్ధి అనచ్చు.  గాంధీజీ లో ఈ త్రికరణశుధ్ధి ఎక్కువగా ఉందని లూయీ ఫిషర్ గారు అభిప్రాయపడినట్లు నాకు గుర్తు.  ఈ త్రికరణశుధ్ధిలో ఏమాత్రం తేడా వచ్చినా మనిషి అనారోగ్యానికి గురి అయే అవకాశం ఉందని శ్రీ లూయీ ఫిషర్ గారో శ్రీ రోమా రోలా గారో వ్రాసినట్లు నాకు గుర్తు.

Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu, Chief Minister of the Residual State of Andhra Pradesh encouraged such persons, that today he is made to spend sleepless nights.


We can see some examples:

1. Ms. Roja.  Mr. Naidu admited her into Telugu Desam Party and made her the Chief of the Women's Wing.  He has also given her tickets to contest Assembly, ignoring the dedicated workers of the party.  She lost the elections.  Later she joined Congress.   Then she jumped to Y.S.R. Congress Party.  She is reported to have said:

''కుంటోళ్లు.. గుడ్డోళ్లకు రాజ్యం అప్పగించొచ్చు కానీ.. బొల్లి వ్యాధి ఉన్నోళ్లకు రాజ్యం అప్పగించకూడదు'' English:  We can entrust State (administration, governance etc.) to lame persons, blind persons, but we should not entrust State to psoriasis afflicted persons.  हिन्दी-- हम लंगडों को, अंधों को राष्ट्र | राज्य दे सकते हैं, लेकिन सोरियासिस रोगियों को राज्य नहीं दे सकते हैं।

Ms. Roja Reddy might have received her cue or inspiration from one Swamiji of our State who was reported to have said in  2014, as under:

"... Because of bolli disease Chief Minister in AP, there wouldn't be any rains in Andhra Pradesh in next 5 years. ..." .

Let us hope that this Swamiji will amend his words.  Let us also hope that Ms. Roja will change her words. 






2. Mr. K. Chandra Sekhara Rao, at present Chief Minister of A.P.  Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu made him Transport Minister, an important Department.  We know how Mr. Chandrasekhara Rao speaks about his mentor.

చదువుకున్నవాళ్లు అయితే మరీ పెళ్లిళ్లే కూడా చేసుకోవడం లేదు.  caduvukunnavALLu ayitE marI peLLiLLu kUDa cEsukOvaDam lEdu.  Educated persons, more so, are not even marrying.

మరికొందరు ఎక్కువ మందిని కనడం అనాగరికంగా భావిస్తున్నారు.  mari kondaru ekkuva mandini kanaDam anAgarikamgA bhAvistunnAru.    Some persons are thinking that begetting more children is barbaric and uncivilised.

మన రాష్ట్రంలో ఏడాదికి ఎంత మంది మృతి చెందుతున్నారో, అంతే మంది పుడుతున్నారు.  mana rAshTramlO EDAdiki enta mandi mriti cendutunnArO, antE mandi puDutunnAru.    In our State, number of people dying and number of people taking birth are equal.


ఇంకొన్ని రోజులు పోతే పుట్టేవారి సంఖ్య తగ్గిపోతుంది.  imkonni rOjulu pOtE puTTE vAri sankhya taggipOtundi.   After lapse of some more days, number of people taking birth will go down.

ఒకే బిడ్డ నినాదాన్ని సృష్టించిన జపాన్‌లో ఇప్పుడు అంతా ముసలి వాళ్లే కనిపిస్తున్నారు.  okE biDDa ninAdAnni srishTincina japAnlO ippuDu antA musali vALLE kanipistunnAru.   In Japan, which has created the slogan of one child, only old people are found now.


వీలయితే ఒకరిద్దరిని ఎక్కువగా పుట్టిస్తే నష్టం లేదు.   vIlaitE okariddarini ekkuvagA puTTistE nashTam lEdu.   There will be no loss, if one or two more are given birth, if possible.

కానీ, అసలు పిల్లలు లేకుండా ఉండడం మంచిది కాదు.   kAnI, asalu pillalu lEkunDA unDaDam mancidi kAdu.   But, it will not be good, to have no children at all.


పిల్లల్ని కనాలి, అలాంటి అవసరం ఇప్పుడు వచ్చింది.   pillalni kanAli, alAnTi avasaram ippuDu vachchindi.   Children should be bred, that necessity has arisen now.


ఇప్పుడు పిల్లల సంఖ్య తగ్గితే భవిష్యత్‌లో అందరూ ముసలి వాళ్లే ఉంటారు.  ippuDu pillala sankhya taggitE bhavishyat lO andarU musali vALLE unTARu.    If the number of children falls now, in future, there will only be aged persons.


తద్వారా వారు పనులు చేయకపోవడంతో రాష్ట్ర అభివృద్ధి కుంటుపడుతుంది.  tadvArA vAru panulu cEyaka pOvaDamtO rAshTra abhivriddhi kunTu paDutundi.  By that, as they do not work, State's development will get retarded.

కనుక అందరూ ఎక్కువ మంది పిల్లల్ని కనాలి.   kanuka andarU ekkuva mandi pillalni kanAli.   Hence, all should beget more children.

         Residual Andhra Pradesh is already an overpopulated State, in relation to its resources.   Fortunately, at least some people have realised that most of our problems are caused by overpopulation, scarcity of land, disguised unemployment.  Such people are gradually adopting family planning methods, and to that extent,  Residual Andhra Pradesh is making at least a slow progress.

Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu should have consulted population experts, before urging people, to breed more children.   Though some developed countries like Japan, Canada, Russia, Germany are facing problem of aging population, they have not come to a final conclusion that breeding more children is the only solution.   Breeding more children, may be one among several solutions.

On the other hand, India, and Residual Andhra Pradesh, are not only facing the problem of over-population, but also, India is going to become the largest populated country in the world, going beyond even China, which is today Population No. 1.

We can write a thousand pages on the poverty, inequalities of income and wealth of Andhra Pradesh, price rise, unemployment,  for which over-population is the major contributor.

Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu has already spoiled the Banking and Institutional Credit System in Andhra Pradesh, by advising people not to pay Bank loans as he was going to bring Agricultural Debt Relief, if made Chief Minister again.


Bourgeoisie Capitalists like Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu, may be worried that they will have difficulty in getting cheap labour for their factories and businesses, if there are not enough starving youth to work only daily wages or as contract laborers for a pittance.


Filthy money getting bureaucrats, business persons, landlords, industrialists, professionals in this country, keep dozens of domestic servants in their homes.  The bourgeoisie live vulgarly luxurious lives wallowing in riches in such a way that domestic servants are tempted to steal some gold jewellery or currency.

Some times, in spite of so much enticement and so many temptations, servants do not steal.  The family members of the masters themselves steal.  Yet, the masters and the police suspect the domestic servants and beat them violently in police lockup rooms to extract admissions and recoveries.


Some unfortunate Godforsaken men and women have tried their luck in Gulf countries.  There the situation was far worse than the domestic scenario.  In Telugu language (my mother tongue), we have a proverb:  "penam mIda nunDi poyyilO paDDaTlu" (English approx. gist: Falling from the hotplate (frying pan) into the raging stove.   Frying pan itself tends to be extremely hot.  To escape from it, if the food stuff jumps from the hotplate, it may fall into the burning fires.  That will be a nightmare.



Since 1947, people of Andhra Pradesh and India have been ruled by political parties of different hues.  They include Telugu Desam founded by NTR, the father-in-law of Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu, TD-2 hyjacked Telugu Desam led by Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu himself.  Funnily, Late Mr. N.T. Rama Rao was also not a supporter of family planning.  He himself had bred eleven children, at a time when Central Government was trying to popularise Family Planning with 'two or three children' norm.  His stubbornness or obstinateness in begetting more children might have been based on the 'Optimum Theory of Population' or probably on  an overconfidence that he was able to make some millions in film industry, acting as a hero.  But, fact remains that everybody cannot become a hero or charge millions.  A hero has to set a good example.  But unfortunately, NTR Sr. had set a very bad example, as far as family planning is concerned.
