744 Film producers, distributors, directors do not spend private money when they shot in Morocco! It is public money they are wasting.

Gautamiputra SAtakarNi, under production, with Shri Balakrishna as Hero, is a Historical film. Time of the happenings of the historical events may be sometime between 2nd Century B.C. to 2nd Century A.D. Gautamiputra SAtakarNi was a SAtavAhana Emperor. For sometime, his Empire is believed to have spread upto Ganga River, Magadha Kingdom, and PATaliputra -the former Capital of Maurya Emperor Ashoka. Satakarni might have expanded his Empire to satisfy his Imperial Greed, by invading several kingdoms in Central India. In the process, he might have initiated and participated in several battles and wars across the length and breadth of India.

What is there for Telugu people to take pride in it? Besides, filming any historical narrative, at least as far as Telugu film distributors, producers, directors and heros are concerned, involves murdering the story to the best of their abilities, to satisfy the egoes and marketing superstitions of all of them.

Another important thing, which not only Telugu people, or Indians, but every human on this Earth should ponder over seriously is the amounts wasted on shootings at distant places. We can understand if a French film, relating to French colonialisation of Gambia or Senegal is shot in Morocco, or an English film relating to slave trade is shot in Cameroon or Sierra Leone or Morocco.

What Gautami putra SAtakarNi has got to do with Morocco, or North West Africa? Why they are spending public moneys to satisfy their own fancies, frills, and idiosyncracies? It is reported in Media that they have already spent Rs. 80 million for making travel and other arrangements to take up the shooting in Morocco! It is also reported that several tons of battle-war related material has been despatched to Morocco! It has also been reported that they are going to hire 800 persons in Morocco to take part in the shooting. It appears that Media has been told that the locals of Morocco have faces and bodies similar to Indians!

There are hundreds of places in India which can serve as battle grounds in film shootings. Besides, shooting in Indian locations will generate some employment to local people.

Question: When the producers, distributors are spending their private money why are you worried?

Ans: Nobody will invest personal monies in risky ventures. Producers and distributors may borrow monies from Banks. And if the Banks refuse to lend directly for film production, loans taken for productive purposes in the name of other Companies will be diverted to film production. It is how, billions of Rupees have been diverted from Banks into risky, speculative, unproductive ventures like Film production, Cricket betting, Real Estate, and what not. To give a live example, when Mr. Vijay Mallya borrowed thousands of crore from NINETEEN BANKS, and went on a spending spree, everybody praised him as a dynamic hero. Was it the private money or the public money did he spend?

Criminal Mafias and Money Launderers have become active partners in rotating funds in the film industry. No wonder, we find that directors are beaten up demanding refund of fees. Harder days we are yet to see. Hence it will be childish to say that producers, directors, distributors invest their private moneys. ONLY gullible FOOLS will believe it. This CRAZE for shooting in foreign locations has exacerbated after 1991, when Government of India started getting foreign exchange reserves by inviting foreign investments, distributing thousands of acres to foreign MNCs @ Rs. 1 per acre, liberalising or neglecting labor laws and making Indian laborers slaves of foreign MNCs. On the one side, India's Companies are going into foreign hands, and on the other hand, foreign exchange hard currencies mobilised with great difficulty are being squandered in lavish expenditure abroad such as film shootings, import of luxury cars etc. Our Kings-of-frog rulers believe that foreign investors will never withdraw their investments! Not correct! Someday, foreign investments will be taken back, and fresh investments may not come.

Telugu media, at least, every alternate day, hammers that Telugu is one of the sweetest languages in the world, or that Telugu tEjams are the greatest, or that we should take pride in being born on the Telugu land.

The Telugu Media, as well as the Telugu tEjams speak sweet Telugu, but at the same time prove the prophetic saying of Karl Marx that all human relationships are financial, monetary and pecuniary. Telugu parents, Telugu couples and lovers, Telugu schools, Telugu doctors, Telugu heroes, everybody with the prefixed attribute "Telugu" honor this dictum, knowingly or unknowingly. In fact, people of other languages, castes, religions, nationalities, races, etc. also conduct their affairs without violating this dictum.

ఆ తీపి మాటల తెలుగు మీడియా, తెలుగు తేజాలు తీపి తెలుగులోనే, కార్ల్ మార్క్స్ గారి "మానవ సంబంధాలన్నీ ఆర్ధిక సంబంధాలు" అనే పటుతర దార్శనిక వాక్యాన్ని నిరూపించేలాగా ప్రవర్తించటం గమనార్హం. తెలుగు తల్లిదండ్రులు, తెలుగు వధూవరులు, భార్యాభర్తలు, ప్రేమికులు, పాఠశాలలు, వైద్యులు, హీరోలు, అందరూ, తెలుగు అనే ఉపసర్గను ముందు తగిలించుకునే వాళ్ళు, తగిలించుకోమని బాదబడుతున్నవాళ్ళు, తెలిసి గానీ, తెలియక గానీ, ఈ మానవ సంబంధాలన్నీ ఆర్ధిక సంబంధాలనే వాక్కుకు అనుగుణంగానే నడుచుకుంటున్నారు. తెలుగువాళ్ళేం కర్మ, అన్ని జాతులు, ఉపజాతులు, ఉపజాతీయతలు, కులాలు, మతాలు, భాషలు, ప్రాంతీయతలు, ఉపప్రాంతీయతలు కలవాళ్ళు అందరూ, ఈ విశ్వ సత్య సూక్తి "మానవ సంబంధాలు ఆర్ధిక సంబంధాలు" కి అనుగుణంగానే ప్రవర్తిస్తున్నారు.

One news item which I have read in media, which Tana.org may have to confirm: Tana Organisers seem to have approached a top Telugu Hero who charges tens of millions of Rupees for appearing in films, to endorse products, - inviting him to participate in their 2015 July 20th National Conference. The Hero, having not forgotten that he is a Telugu man, is said to have demanded Rs. 1.5 crore (15 million) for his appearance. Surprised at this high demand, Tana is said to have gone back.

मीडिया में आया हुआँ सूचनाओं के अऩुसार, (ताना इस को धृवीकरण या खंडन करना चाहिए), ताना निर्वाहक, कोब सॆंटर, डिट्रायिट मे होनेवाले अपने २०वी महासभाओं मे सभालंकृत होने केलिये, एक अग्र तॆलुगु हीरो को आह्वान किया। और वह तॆलुगु हीरो, फिल्मों में अपने पागलपन नटना और नाचों केलिये करोडों रुपये, फालत् वस्तुओं को बॆचने केलिये ऎँडार्समॆंट्स करने केलिये करोडों रुपये पूछने अपने आदत के अनुसार, ताना से भी रू. १.५ करोड रूपये माँगा। इस डिमांड से आश्चर्यचकित होकर ताना निर्वाहक निराश वापस गये थे.

మీడియా లో వచ్చిన ఒక వార్తా కథనం ప్రకారం (దీనిని తానా వారు ధృవీకరించాలి లేదా ఖండించాలి), తానా వారు, కోబో సెంటర్, డిట్రాయిట్ లో జరిగే, తమ 20వ మహాసభలకు , ఒక అగ్ర తెలుగు హీరోగారిని ఆహ్వానించగా, ఆ హీరోగారు ఏకంగా రూ. 1.5 కోట్లు డిమాండు చేయగా, వెనక్కి తగ్గి వెళ్ళి పోయారుట. మరి ఆ హీరో గారు తను సినిమాల్లో పిచ్చి గంతులు వేసేందుకు తీసుకునే కోట్ల రూపాయల్లాగే, దిక్కుమాలిన సరుకులను గొప్ప సరుకులుగా అమ్మటానికి ఇచ్చే ఎండార్స్ మెంట్లకు తీసుకునే కోట్ల రూపాయల్లాగే, కొన్ని కోట్లు పారేయమని తానా వారిని అడిగి ఉండాలి.

Telugu film industry is also dominated by the same two or three landed castes.  The hero who demanded Rs. 1.5 crore to show his face at a Conference also belongs to that landed caste.  Hay!  Before Cash, both the love for own Caste and own mother tongue, have become slaves!

तॆलुगु सिनिमा उद्योग भी , उसी दो या तीन भू कुलों से शासन की जा रही है।  अभी हमारे तॆलुगु हीरो  जो एक महा सभा में अपने मुख को दिखाने के लियो रू. १.५ करोड माँगे थे, वे भी उसी भू-कुल के थे।  अहो, क्याष के सामने, अपने कुल के प्रेम, अपने मातृ भाषा के प्रेम सभी दास दासी होगये न।

తెలుగు సినీ పరిశ్రమ కూడ అవే రెండు మూడు భూకులాల చేత శాసించబడుతున్నాయనే భావన ఉంది.  రూ. 1.5 కోట్లు డిమాండు చేసిన హీరో గారు కూడ ఆ భూకులానికే చెందిన వారుట.  అహో, క్యాష్ ముందు భాషా, కులం దిగదుడుపు అయ్యాయి కదా.

As a Telugu gADida my understanding is it will be suffice for organisers of this type of Conferences, as is customary, to provide a to-and-fro air ticket, bear inland travel expenses, comfortable accommodation and food arrangements, some reasonable honorarium to take care of other expenses, depending on the financial strength of the inviting body. By going back, without paying the Rs. 1.5 crore demanded by the hero, Tana seems to have done the right thing.

424 Should film actresses sit beside us if our Shiva worship on Maha Shivratri day is to become fruitful?

For those who believe in sacredness of festivals, Mahashivaratri is a very sacred festival.

The object of the festival is to approach and stay very close to the Lord Shiva, throughout the day and night.

But our politician cum contractor from Visakhapatnam, has splashed hundreds of thousands of bucks for a cultural bash at Ramakrishna Beach, Visakhapatnam.

One gets an impression that the politician's PROs are very efficient, that they sent all the required photos to all major English and Telugu newspapers and got them published at prominent places, in prominent pages.

All the newspapers have obliged him.  Whether it is paid news or free publicity, God alone knows.

One among such photos, is an image in which the politician was sitting in the first row, along with yesterday actresses and temporarily faded politicians Jayaprada and Jayasudha, with layers of at least one centimeter of make-up.

One derivation we can make from these ways of the world:  Mind will not get stabilised on Lord Shiva, unless there are film actresses sitting beside.

The patron king Krishna Deva RAya used to conduct seminars of poets, on the days he was not invading other Regions or he himself was not visiting prostitutes .  During one such seminar, the great Shiva devotee poet DhUrjaTi was recite him poetry from his book 'Sri kALahasti mahAtmyam'.  King found that DhUrjaTi's verses were very sweet.  He asked the other poets in the assembly: How did this unmatched grandeur of sweetness has come to the praiseworthy poet DhUrjaTi.

Poet Tenali Rama krishna rose and said that he knew.  He attributed the reason for the sweetness of DhUrjaTi's poetry as: The got his sweetness by drinking the nectar from the lips of the delicate prostituting beauties of this world.  Everybody laughed it out.  This is because, most of the poets of those days were regular visitors to prostitutes and suckers of nectar from their lips.
