1021 Worldwide, Socialism has been misunderstood. Paragraph-by-paragraph Analysis of Article by Mr. Toby Young, in theSpectator, UK.

My apology for the spelling mistakes in the above image. I shall try to replace it with another, when I shall have time.
Here is a link to an article by Mr. Toby Young, Associate Editor of theSpectator. Click here to go to https://www.spectator.co.uk/2017/09/can-evolution-solve-the-mystery-of-why-jeremy-corbyn-did-so-well-at-the-last-election/. This Article I have read in the Editorial Page of the Print Edition of Deccan Chronicle dated 22nd Sept. 2017. This is Article is not only worth reading, but also worth commenting line by line. Hence, I am trying to present my perception of the Article, and a paragraph-by-paragraph review of the points raised by Mr. Toby Young. I do not wish to say that the Article itself is a 'Snake Oil' produced by the Capitalist Propaganda System, though Mr. Toby Young, in his Article tried to present Socialism as 'Snake Oil'. His perception might have been based on the histories of USSR, China, NKorea, Venezuela etc. countries which claim(ed) to be Socialist countries, which they pretended to be. Hence, a compulsion arose for me to clarify from our side of things.
What Mr. Toby Young wrote in his Spectator Articleybrao-a-donkey's views NOT intended to be imposed on others
One of the mysteries of our age is why socialism continues to appeal to so many people. Whether in the Soviet Union, China, Eastern Europe, North Korea, Cuba, Vietnam, Cambodia or Venezuela, it has resulted in the suppression of free speech, the imprisonment of political dissidents and, more often than not, state-sanctioned mass murder. Socialist economics nearly always produce widespread starvation, something we were reminded of last week when the President of Venezuela urged people not to be squeamish about eating their rabbits. That perfectly captures the trajectory of nearly every socialist experiment: it begins with the dream of a more equal society and ends with people eating their pets. Has there ever been an ideology with a more miserable track record?Socialism is the label used by dictators and totalitarian rulers to mislead people and suppress dissent. State-sponsored mass murders pertain only to killing of opponents by dictators in the guise of Socialism.
People, unfortunately, do not know much about True Total Socialism. It is high time that every human on Earth, try to study, understand and digest about Socialism, irrespective whether they live in Developed Countries or Underdeveloped/developing countries or the Super Rich Countries or the most Deprived countries of the World.
Why, then, did 40 per cent of the British electorate vote for a party led by Jeremy Corbyn last June? It wasn’t as if he acknowledged that all previous attempts to create a socialist utopia had failed and explained why it would be different under him. There was no fancy talk of ‘post-neoclassical endogenous growth theory’ or ‘pre-distribution’, as there had been by his two predecessors. No, he was selling exactly the same snake oil that every left-wing huckster has been peddling for the past 100 years, and in exactly the same bottle. He reminded me of a pharmacist trying to flog thalidomide to an expectant mother while making no attempt to hide the fact that it has caused the deaths of at least 2,000 children and serious birth defects in more than 10,000 others. And yet, nearly 13 million Britons voted for Corbyn. Could it be that they just don’t know about all the misery and suffering that socialism has unleashed? If Socialism becomes "Snake Oil" as misrepresented by Mr. Toby Young, then Capitalism will be which Oil?

Are Capitalism and Feudalism, Angels? Did nobody die, in the hands of Barons, Landlords, Owners of Industrial Empires and the mafias engaged by them?
That’s a popular theory on my side of the political divide and has prompted a good deal of head-scratching about how best to teach elementary history — such as that more people were killed by Stalin than by Hitler. One suggestion is to create a museum of communist terror that documents all the people murdered in the great socialist republics — and full credit to the journalist James Bartholomew for getting some traction behind this idea. But is it really historical ignorance that prompts people to invest their hopes in Corbyn? An inconvenient fact for holders of this theory is that those who voted Labour at the last election tended to be better educated than those who voted Tory.Mr. Toby Young seems to believe that Hitler was a democrat. He too was a dictator a la Stalin. Number of people killed depends on the degree of mutual acrimonies between the warring groups.
There is no need to scratch heads about historical realities. The History of Capitalism/Feudalism is full of Exploitation of Masses. The Exploitation is facilitated by Addiction of Masses to Alcohol, Religion, Human Instincts for Survival, and Human Cravings for Oneupmanship over the other humans.
To try and solve the puzzle of socialism’s enduring appeal, we have to turn to evolutionary psychologists and in particular Leda Cosmides and John Tooby, two of the leading thinkers in the field. They contend that we don’t come into the world as tabulae rasae, ready to take on the imprint of whatever society we happen to be born into. Rather, we are more like smartphones that come pre-loaded with various apps, including a set of moral intuitions. The problem is, these apps haven’t been updated for 40,000 years. They were designed for small bands of hunter-gatherers rather than citizens of the modern world and prompt us to look more favourably on socialism than free-market capitalism. Why? Because in hunter-gatherer societies, where the pooling of resources is essential for survival, the principle of ‘from each according to his ability, to each according to his need’ makes perfect sense. By the same token, we have a great deal of difficulty grasping that people acting in an individual, self-interested way can create huge communal benefits, as it does under capitalism. Back in the primeval forest, our survival depended upon distrusting people who weren’t willing to engage in reciprocal altruism. Capitalism seeks pooling of Resources only for aggrandizement and enrichment of Corporate Promoters and Speculators. Socialism can help in pooling of Resources for common good, and it can prevent Exploitation by Corporates.
In hunter-gatherer societies, goods are finite. If someone has more than his fair share of meat, there is less for everyone else. That’s not true of capitalist societies, where successful entrepreneurs such as Steve Jobs create wealth without taking anything away from others; but because we’re programmed to think of resources in a zero-sum way we cannot easily understand this. Instead, we’re inclined to believe people like Corbyn when they tell us the rich only got that way by stealing from the poor.Even in the 21st Century, both in both Capitalism and Socialism, resources are not infinite. In Capitalism, the problem gets compounded because Elite Classes try to knock away everything for themselves.
This zero-sum thinking doesn’t just explain why people cannot readily understand the concept of wealth being created under capitalism; it also explains why seeing people with more than us can lead to envy and resentment. We look at their lavish property and, on some primitive, hunter-gatherer level, believe they’ve only come by what they have by depriving us of what we’re entitled to. All property is theft. This thinking can often lead to a desire to tear down the person in question, to reduce their status so it’s level with ours. The anthropologist Christopher Boehm believes that this violent impulse underpins all egalitarian ideologies, which might explain why intellectuals, Jews and middle-class property owners are often interned in prison camps and/or put to death in socialist societies. (See Russia, China, Cambodia, etc.) Interestingly, Boehm points out that chimpanzees, with whom we share a common ancestor, are also prone to the same tall-poppy syndrome. I recommend his book Hierarchy in the Forest: The Evolution of Egalitarian Behavior if you want to learn more about the pathological roots of socialism.Where does Socialism say that All Property is theft? It is malicious propaganda by Capitalists. The most detestable thing is, Capitalists try to corner everything for themselves. We have not reached a stage where only 10% of People, can produce 100% GDP of a country with the help of Technology. That stage may be ahead, when human labor becomes TOTALLY redundant, and the CMDs/CEOs/CFOs/Speculators can producing everything in the world without employing a single laborer .
So what’s the solution? Are we doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past? Hopefully not, but we need to tell a story about capitalism that is just as appealing to people’s 40,000-year-old moral intuitions as the sales patter of socialist snake oil salesmen. There will be no repetition of past mistakes, provided the Working Class, and the Voting Class build sufficient awareness, analytical abilities, to guard themselves against injustices. They should also take adequate precautions to prevent birth of Dictators from their own bretheren. Mr. Jeremy Corbyn may not be a true believer in Socialism, and he too may be a pretendor, to capture power. British Labor Party may not be a true Working Class Party. Workers of UK have to keep a watch on their own Labor Leaders.

681 Women too have penises, American Presidential Aspirants must know this!

The best assessment of Mr. Donald Trump, the likely Republican Candidate for the American Presidency 2016-2020 has been provided by Freddy Gray, the Dy. Editor of Spectator.co.uk. in his piece of write up titled: Donald Trump's angry America. After the disappointment of Barack Obama, the country is turning mean. Link: Click to go to Spectator. . I do not know how many grassroot level voters in United States of America will read it, try to understand the consequences of electing a money-maniac as President, of the Dictator-State of this World.

No difference, basically exists, between the lumpen-proletariat of the United States and the lumpen-proletariat of India. There is adult franchise / adult suffrage in both the countries.

I believe that most of my Readers will get, if they read the above-lined article of Mr. Freddy Gray, a reasonable understanding of what Mr. Donald Trump stands for, and will strive for if he is elected, as President of the Largest Consumer Nation of this Earth.

TRUMP MAY NOT KNOW THAT WOMEN TOO HAVE PENISES

Donald Trump discussed penis size at debate, as his rival mocked at his 'little hands'.

Trump's nasty remarks came after Marco Rubio mocked him after his success on Super Tuesday.

Trump habitually ridicules his fellow contenders about their work, physical well being and success. Trump called his rival Marco, 'Little Marco' , referrring to his height.

Marco retailiated at Trump, saying 'he (Trump) has little hands.'

Trump's rebuttal:
'...Look at my hands. Are these small hands? If they are small, something else must be small too. ...'

'I guarantee you,...'

American voters too have a fantasy and fetish towards the size of penises.

P R O O F

Size of the Multi Million Dollar Market, for drugs, tools, methods and techniques for enlarging penis. At least 10% of the Internet is gaga with penis-therapy related spams.

Another funny thing: Both the Republican Aspirants for the Presidency have forgotten that women too have their biological penises (clitoris is nothing but degenerated penis, when men and women separately evolved from their hermaphroditehood. The female penises may not be equal in size to male penises, but in their effectiveness (in the meaning of: their utility value for generating orgasm).

There is nothing prima facie, wrong in discussing penises. Such openness promotes transparency and eliminates hypocracies. But men candidates should not underestimate women.

IF for any reason, if Mr. Donald Trumps fails to become President of United States for any reason, he should come to India, and take some lessons from Mr. K. Chandrasekhara Rao (popular as KCR), the Chief Minister of Telangana.

There may not be any shortage of land in U.S.A. Yet, if Mr. Donald Trump wishes, after taking a course of "how to capture power by instigating hatred between people", he can take a short course, from Mr. Narayana, a Cabinet Minister in Andhra Pradesh State, on how to indulge in Insider Trading involving Government decisions, and buy thousands of acres of benami lands.

Of course, Mr. Trump & his rivals may already be knowing these techniques. But, as far as, moolah accumulating techniques are concerned, there can't be "big leader" , "small leader". Exchange of information, helps both.

Important trigger for this post. Context: New Year Day Joys. An Article by James Bartholomew in Spectator.com, U.K. Here is the link for those who wish to study it: This article is somewhat nostalgic. Gist: Britishers traditionally enjoyed fun, wine, women, joviality etc. etc. Now, everything is gone. There is some artificial grimness everywhere.

We shall have a look a Indians. In the Western eyes, Indians are supposed to be Spiritualistic, always thinking of death, next birth, striving for relief from the cycles of births and deaths, popularly called liberation (mOksha or mukti).

But for the English New Year Day 2016, how much did Indians spend on Fun and Frolic, Liquor and Women? No authentic figures are available about women, because Prostitution is not legal in India, though it is ubiquitous. Amount spent on New Year Parties and Liquors, the amount can be at least $ 1 billion (100 crore dollars or Rs. 65,000 approx.). This is only an Estimate.

Liquors are of two types. 1. Licenced Liquors, on which State Governments extract their Shylock's premium. 2. Unlicenced spurious liquors, where the adulterers can blend liquors with poisonous substances like methyle alcohol, or exotic substances like soap-nut fruit juice. Thus the official Liquor Sales data from the State Governments do not reflect the facts which should include the sale volumes of spurious liquors.

Indians are really spiritual , pun intended, full of alcoholic spirits. If Britishers lacked an environment of fun and joy in their native land, they can visit India, stay at Indian Hotels, have as much fun as possible. No questions will be asked as long as Sterling Pounds, US Dollars and Rupees are thrown away.

Question: Do you mean to say that all INdians are enjoying the fun, and frolic?

Ans: Difficult to answer this question. For example, if a man earns Rs. 500/- and if he goes to a Bar-cum-Restaurant, throws away the 500 bucks, buys wine, enjoy some dances, goes home at 12 night and thrashes his wife and children, can we say that he really is enjoying the fun and frolic? We can say with confidence that at least 40% of Indians consisting of women, children, mothers and fathers are not enjoying. How can they enjoy beatings by their family-heads?

Do you want Pure Marxism to dominate India and become a Cult of the Nation?

Ans: We can never allow anything to become Cults. For this reason only, I always argue that Workers should get sufficiently enlightened to THINK INDEPENDENTLY, ACT INDEPENDENTLY, without depending on CULT BOSSES, CULT PHILOSOPHERS.

In my post No. Click to go to problemsoftelugus post 638 , I referred to the article of Borra Govardhan in Andhra Jyothi datd 30.12.2015, about the "vaidik Marxism" -dictatorship type approach he attributed to Ranganayakamma gAru. With due credit to Ranganayakammaji, we have to concede that she didn't appreciate vyakti pUja or vIra pUja (hero worship).

Marx or Angels never got an opportunity to become Cult Leaders. It was Lenin, Stalin, et al in Russia, and Mao ze Dong, Chow En Lai, Deng et al in China, Castro in Cuba, Kim in North Korea, who have become Cult figures in the guise of inducting or implementing Communism in their countries. For this reason only, I always say that Workers and Citizens should be vigilant. Click to go to Dailymail.co.uk to read about the CULT STOLE CHILDHOOD. SHE GREW AT OUTWARDLY NORMAL SUBURBAN HOME. Why?

Answer: For telling us things, which our Finance Minister, or our Prime Minister, or the Indian Government do not tell.

What is the context?

It is already one year, the BJP Govt. has started ruling. They are publicising their achievements and victories. Of course, they will not mention anything about billions stashed by Indians abroad.

Shall we read something from Mr. Nick Cohen's essay, dealing with wealth stashed by Indian Billionaires?

See this essay of his at Spectator.co.uk.

How is it related to Indians?

It discusses about the Spear's List of 500. Its title is "The essential guide to the top private client advisers." . What do these 500 people/organisations advise to their private clients? All these 500 people/institutions are eager to serve the Super Rich of the World. For example, they will help their clients to buy homes in Central London. They can fight divorce cases of their Mega star clients. Help in what not? Buying cars, horses, yatches. Interior design of homes. Getting their services will itself show that you are an UHNWI i.e. Ultra High Net Worth Individual.

We shall take up a quote.
"...So great is the number of oligarchs wishing to come here that the Indian government tried to restrict the amount of money its rich could take out of the country. Camilla Dell, a property consultant, notes that 'prospective Indian clients wanting to buy something in London' put their deals on hold. But, she reassures us, wealthy Indians soon 'found ways' of getting round the restrictions. ..."

"...They had no need to fret. Buyers swamped central London estate agents with orders of £500 million on Friday morning. Agents predicted prices would soar by 10 per cent as the Tory victory let loose a 'surge in pent-up activity'..."

Who are these oligarchs in queue to buy homes in Central London? Did these people contribute substantially to the election expenses of Conservative Party or the Labor Party , or both?

The amount of £500 million swamping the London Estate Markets soon after Mr. Cameron's victory, might have gone up beyond a billion pounds.

How many of these Billion pounds might have come from Indians? What are the sources of their funds? How many of them have subscribed to the coffers of BJP? Can Mr. Arun Jaitley and Mr. Narendra Modi enlighten us?

(To continue
