918 If Pinarayi Vijayan and CPM Kerala are killing RSS Workers, Center can order CBI Investigation and punish guilty.

Rule of Law has not yet completely died in India, though rot has set in. Both Central and State Governments, the Society have to work out to bring back "Rule of Law" to central stage. Trigger for this ybdonkey's view is the video in circulation in social media, about a reward of Rs. 1 crore (Rs. 10 million) announced by Shri Chandravat, RSS Pramukh at Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, to anyone who beheads Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan, Chief Minister of Kerala State. This video is available on internet abundantly. Here is one link, which I have come across: Click here to go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zboOokjPye0, and see the video.. When yb-donkey-this-blogger viewed this youtube video, he felt that Mr. Chandravat, the Ujjain RSS Pramukh, who spoke on the mike, HAS all the characteristic traits of a speaker (oratorial style, body language, waving hands, modulation of language, selection of words etc. etc.) needed to become, Prime Minister of India, someday. Of course, in addition to oratorial skills and capabilities, he must also have manipulating and manoeuvre-ing abilities to handle persons, groups, committees, people and situations.

A news report on this subject can be read at DeccanChronicle.com: Click here to see and study the news at Deccan Chronicle.com.

yb-donkey's personal views not intended to be imposed on others

If Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan has managed to kill 300 workers, the matter should be of great seriousness, deserving National Attention. But, Mr. Chandravat has chosen a wrong method, to draw attention of the Nation to the alleged murders. The Organ of RSS, - BJP is in power at Centre, If the matter is brought by RSS leaders to the attention of the Prime Minister, Home Minister, they might/could have ordered an investigation by CBI, and prosecution of the guilty in Specially established CBI Courts. If, Mr. Chandravat is emotionally disturbed about the killings he can explore the following options:
*Mr. Chandravat can approach RSS Nagpur Headquarters, with a request to take up at National Level.
*Mr. Chandravat can file a police complaint at Ujjain itself under various sections of IPC.
*Approach High Court of Madhya Pradesh / Kerala with a writ under Article 226 of Constitution.
*If his Article 226 Writ fails in High Courts, he can approach Supreme Court of India, under Article 32 of Constitutioin.
There is no need to raise the issue of Godhra killings, and retributive Gujarat Mayhem.
There is no need to call for killing 300,000 people (See the video).

812 Late Shapurji Saklatva X Mahatma Gandhi, & also about Kerala, Bengal, Lenin

Many in India believe that both Mahatma Gandhi and Baba Saheb Ambedkar were a sort of mild anathema to Hindutva forces in India. Of late, our new 2014 rulers have started worshipping Mahatma Gandhi and Baba Saheb Ambedkar, for whatever be the reasons. Today, in India, we are not following much of Mahatma Gandhi's theories and/or practices. Many of our present leaders consider Mahatma Gandhi as anachronistic and obsolete, though they do not openly admit it for fear of losing some vote banks (there may not be many votebanks left, who will vote if Gandhiji's name is chanted. Those days were gone).

Today, Indian Communism / Marxism / Socialism is also at cross-roads. Our CPI and CPIM Leaders also appear to be bewildered, after their party was badly mauled in West Bengal. In 2016, CPIM has been resurrected in Kerala, while BJP has made an arangetram in Kerala Assembly. Probably out of that one seat enthusiasm, or for whatever be any other reason, BJP has a few days back conducted its National Executive Meeting in Kerala, addressed by the Luminaries of BJP, particularly our PM Shri Narendra Modi, and BJP President Amit Shah. True, one swallow may not make a spring. Of course, there is another aphorism: "...The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step...".

Mr. Shah (and as a corollary his boss Shri Narendra Modi) seems to have built similar hopes of BJP making deeper trenches in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The 2016 CM of Kerala, Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan is reported to have invited a Harvard Economist !!! to guide him in shaping the administrative and economic policies of Kerala. Doesn't Mr. Vijayan know anything about True and Complete Socialism? What a shameful downfall !!!

I believe today's CPI and CPM may not have as much disdain or indifference which their founders and pioneers of 1920s and 1930s had, of Mahatma Gandhi, and his movements, particularly non-violence, khadi and takli, Salt Satya Graha 1930, Non-Co-operation 1921, Quit India 1942 etc. etc. Though CPI and CPIM may not openly shower praises on Mahatma Gandhi (Indian Communists considered Nehru and Indira Gandhi as socialists. Combined Communist Party of India underwent a division in 1962 on the questions of attitude towards Congress and Nehru, and of course Russia-China squirmishes), they seemed to be reconciled with the ideas of holding Mahatma Gandhi on a high pedestal.

Whatever be the reason, since my childhood, knowingly or unknowingly, I started cultivating some special adoration for Mahatma Gandhi, though occasionally, I came across some material which indicated that there seems to be exaggerations-- suggesting that Gandhiji may be a great soul, but definitely not a super -God. So far, my faith on Gandhiji did not suffer much, although my stone-solid adoration seems to have started melting, like the demy-God Varuna who tested Senior NTR in the Telugu film Jagadeka Virudi katha, when Ghantasala sang "Siva Sankari Sivananda lahari Siva Sankari" in his immortal voice.

During my adolescence and early youth I started adoring Swami Vivekananda also. After my retirement from bank, when I took up a deeper study of Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda, all my fascinations and infatuations about him melted away, and my eyes were opened. For some of the revelations which occurred to me, my readers can read at my Swami Vivekananda blog: Click to go to http://vivekanandayb.blogspot.com

Then, my study on Valmiki Ramayana, ditched me more. Click to go to my ramayanayb.blogspot.com blog. . After writing my Valmiki ramayana blog I got much disillusioned. I am a worshipper of all the three Raju-s (Three kings) of Telugu Literature and Music: Bammera Potaraju, Kancherla Goparaju, and Tyagaraju. All the three Great Souls worshipped Lord Rama. Without the word 'Rama' neither Telugu Literature nor South Indian Music cannot exist.

Mahabharata and Mahabhagavata too disappointed me. My readers can visit my mahabharata blog Click to go to Mahabharatayb.blogspot.com , and Click to go to mahabhagavatayb.blogspot.com . Finally, sometimes, I started engaging myself in repeated introspections. I thought that something must have gone wrong with me somewhere sometime.

Back to Mahatma Gandhi and Late Shapurji Saklatvala

My readers may be aware about my Mahatma Gandhi blog. Link: Click to go to Mahatma Gandhi blog http://gandhijiyb.blogspot.com. At present there are 28 posts there. . A few readers of mine asked me to write more about Mahatma Gandhi, some years back. At that time, I could not venture (badvenure? adventure?) into it, because I was a disillusioned fellow.

In 2016, the world today is in a sort of shambles. Russia is making military exercises with the Terrorist Pakisthan. China, Cuba, Vietnam, North Korea, etc. etc. nobody can be said to be 'representatives' of even minuscule fragments of Communism / Marxism / Socialism.

British Labor Party, Greek Labor Party ( by whatever name it is called) are in shambles. Though Mr. Bernie Sanders raised some false hopes in 2016 American Presidential Elections, now, he too seems to be at cross-roads.

At this juncture, I thought that I can spend some time of my very very precious remaining active-days of life (I am already 66/67) on something worthwhile, instead of indulging in some wild-goose-chase. I thought of making a comparative analyses of theories and workings of Gandhiji and Lenin. For the purpose, I have downloaded the Collected Works of Mahatma Gandhi. These are available free on net, in 100 volumes, pdf files. If my readers are interested, they can convert them into txt files for easy search, using linux package pdftotext, which is automatically available in Ubuntu. Link for downloading the Collected Works of Mahatma Gandhi: Click to go to Gandhiserve.org . One important observation: When we go to devotee websites, we can get only sanitised versions, which are uploaded after excising socially-irking portions.

The Collected Works of Lenin are also available on the Net free. We can get these in 45 volumes. Link for those who wish to study Lenin: Click to go to Marxists.org

At the same place of downloading Collected Works of Lenin, I found a link to a memoriam on Late Shapurji Saklatvala .Click to go to study a memoriam of Late Shapurji Saklatvala, a Labor Leader of 1920s-30s in England, and in India. https://www.marxists.org/archive/pollitt/articles/1936/02/saklatvala.htm

I reproduce an excerpt from the above Memoriam of Late Shapurji Saklatvala.

His amazing vitality, his profound knowledge, his ready and comradely advice, his cultural attainments and his unrivaled abilities as an orator and exponent of the revolutionary principles of the Communist International, leave a wide gap in our ranks.

In very truth we can say of our beloved comrade:

“He died for the workers.
In life he was one whose
Love knew no stint, whom
No fear could appall.”

Only those who have known him intimately can form any idea of the work that he did.

Night after night, year after year, in all parts of Britain he carried out his task of working class agitation, education and organization. Only those who also participate in this understand the ceaseless strain and anxiety it entails. No comrade ever did more of this work so uncomplainingly as Comrade Saklatvala.

No call was ever made upon him to which he did not respond. Be the meeting large or small, it was always the same. Be it near or far it was all the same.

Question: Why are you bringing in Late Shapurji Saklatvala today? How is relevant today?

Ans: While downloading the Collected Works of Late Lenin, I came across, a piece of article by Late Shapurji Saklatvala, published in Source: Labour Monthly, July, 1930, Vol. 12, No. 7. Title of this article is "Who is this Gandhi?". Link for those who wish to study this article of Late Shapurji Saklatvala on Mahatma Gandhi: Click to go to https://www.marxists.org/archive/saklatvala/1930/07/gandhi.htm . I have gone through this article. Prima facie, it is too strong on Mahatma Gandhi. It seemed to have been somewhat exaggerated, against Mahatma Gandhi. But then, the above memoriam on Saklatvala, speaks very highly about Late Shapurji Saklatvala.

There is a proverb: Beauty lies in beholders eye! At this too early stages of my analyses on Lenin, Gandhiji, I do not want to believe or disbelieve Saklatvala. It will be too early and too hasty. But, yet, Saklatvala seems to have written some home truths about Mahatma Gandhi. It is our duty to examine each statement of his, and seggregate what can be accepted, and what cannot be accepted.

We shall have a quote from the above article, of Late Shapurji Saklatvala;

"...In his young days he went to South Africa to assist the Indian colonials who were badly oppressed by the British and the Dutch. He never made the slightest attempt socially and politically to unite the Negroes and the Indians together for the overthrow of the white man’s tyranny. He cultivated a separatist mentality among the Indians based on religious superstition and social snobbery. Whenever the humiliation or the suffering was too great for his Indian followers he gave them a dose of Tolstoy’s philosophy. Every now and again he sang songs of praise for the British Empire, and actually made people believe that there was love and justice in the hearts of imperialist rulers and capitalist employers. He left the poor Negroes alone and wasted his time in bothering with detailed grievances of small Indian merchants and traders. Whenever some vulgar favour was shown by the British master towards a few rich Indians in South Africa, Gandhi would burst out into a song like the Empire’s nightingale. He ignored the fact that South Africa belongs to the negroes and that the white tyrants were a small minority, and were the worst type of exploiters, gold hunters and diamond diggers. ..."

The above article was written during/soon after Salt Satyagraha Movement 1930. Late Saklatvala seems to have concluded in 1930 itself that Gandhiji would become a General Smut of India. Who this General Smut was, my readers can find from the above article "Who is this Gandhi".

ybrao-a-donkey's humble comments. वैबीराव एक गधे के विनम्र राय . వైబీరావ్ గాడిద వినమ్ర వాణి. You have every right to differ with me. I respect your right. We are born in post-1947-independent India. We do not know much about Late Shapurji Saklatvala, either to the British Labor Party, or to the Indian Labor Movement, or to the World Communism / Marxism / Socialism.

What I am interested in, at this stage?

Though introduction of absolute true/Complete Socialism is not possible for a CPM Government like Kerala or Tripura, it is very very odd that their CM Pinarayi Vijayan should invite Harvard Economists to guide him. Is there any shortage of Socialist Economists in India? In fact, there is no need of Academic Economists also. It will be sufficient if CPM and CPI do not commit the same mistakes which they have done in West Bengal, when they were in power.

Example: West Bengal is a State, which has a very high density of population, and landlessness is very high there. The same is the case with Kerala. The people of Kerala have at least Gulf countries to fly to easily, and die there. People of Bengal cannot even have that luxury of death in Gulf. There, the CPM-CPI Left front snatched 1000 acres from peasants and handed over on a golden plater to Tatas, as if Tatas cannot buy lands in market.

What CPI-CPM in Bengal could have done then, or do now in Kerala? Employment cannot be created without industries. Industries cannot be established without lands.

Ans: Still, some forests are left in both Kerala and Bengal. More employment can be created through Cottage-tiny-small industries. It has already been proved. It has also been proved that Cottage-tiny-small industries have more export capabilities than the funds guzzling Medium and Large Industries.

1000 acre forest land / or wasteland containing thorny shrubs and snake pits are available all over India, including Bengal and Kerala. Even in my own State Residual Andhra Pradesh, they are not scarce. A 1000 acre land piece after allocating say 100 acres for roads, electric substation, overhead tank for water, etc. can leave 900 acres, or approx. 450,000 square yards. 2,250 cottage/tiny/small-scale industrial units can be started in bits of 200 sq.yds. each.

758 CPIM is continuing the same disastrous and undemocratic practices of Congress and BJP ! Lacks internal democracy.

This is in continuation of our blog post No. 757 Click if you wish to study 757. The selection of Mr. Pinnarayi Vijayan as Kerala's Chief Minister, treating the elected Kerala CPIM and LDF MLAs as dumb goats, by the duo of MR. PRAKASH KARAT and MR. SITARAM YECHURY, only shows that CPIM Party lacks INTERNAL DEMOCRACY. Though theoretically, the LDF MLAs may be electing their Legislature Party Leader unanimously, in reality who will defy the decision of the Central Leadership of the Party? Who will come OPENLY forward to contest as Leader of the Legislature Party? Correct democratic process ought to have been, to conduct a secret ballot, after inviting written nominations from the M.L.As. There will be no use of showering praises on a 92 year old leader Achyutanandan, after dumping him into a dustbin. I do not wish to say that Senior Leaders should continue as Chief Ministers till their death. But, they should not be denied an opportunity to contest for Leadership, by Central Leadership throwing their weight behind some X or Y. Central Leadership should function as neutral, and facilitative Management, rather than authoritarian and intruding.

QUESTION: WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE PRESENT PROCESS OF CENTRAL LEADERSHIP COMING OUT WITH THEIR SELECTION?

Ans: Central Leadership announcing its preference, will be an insult and to the Legislature Party and interference into their affairs. The Legislature Party is supposed to elect its leader independently. It is how democracy flows from grassroot levels, to upwards. The role of Central Leadership and their observers should have been restricted to ensure that the MLAs do not fight with chairs and knives, and that they exercise their franchise fearlessly and freely.

QUESTION: WHAT WILL BE THE HARM NOW?

Ans: Those who are mum and silent now at the Meeting to Elect Legislature Party Leader, will start their dissident operations. There will be bickerings. As per the practice, CM will go to the Central Leadership with the list of proposed Ministers and will have to get their approval. CM will have to convince those who do not get a berth in Cabinet, saying that it is not his list, and that it is the Central Leadership's list. This type of affairs may prevail in, and suit for bourgeoisie parties, but not for PROLETARIAT PARTIES which are supposed NOT TO RUN FROM TOP TO BOTTOM, but FROM BOTTOM TO TOP.

QUESTION: Even a Chief Minister duly elected in secret ballot cannot satisfy dissident MLAs who do not find their names in Cabinet?

ANS: MLAs, themselves, can be given the task of electing their Ministers, along with their portfolios, that too through a secret ballot.

QUESTION: But using secret ballot for everything, weakens a CM !

ANS: Today, Chief Ministers and Prime Ministers are becoming tyrants, because they have the prerogative whom to make ministers, and whom not to make ministers. Consequently, Cabinet Meetings have become mute affairs, where Ministers do not dare to express their dissent. CMs and PMs have started giving marks to Ministers and MLAs.

QUESTION: Secret ballots for everything, may lead to MLAs demanding bribes for their votes.

ANS: It is the weakness of democracy, caused by a shortocoming of grass-root voters who have become CORRUPT and are failing to elect their M.L.As and M.Ps. after testing their honesty and integrity. For some years, till our democracy matures, this lacuna is to be borne with.

757 LEFT PARTIES WILL ACHIEVE NOTHING BY WINNING KERALA

In 2016 Elections for Left Assembly, results indicate that Left Front has won. All India CPM Leaders, Mr. Sitaram Yechury and Mr. Prakash Karat may be having tears of joy (Ananda bAshpams) in one eye for winning in Kerala, and tears of grief (rakta kannIru) for losing in Bengal. Even in Kerala, there are going to be in-fightings between the factions of Shri Achyutanandan its 92 years old Opposition Leader, and Shri Pinarayi Vijayan, its 71 years old Election Campaigner. Here is one news report which depicts the dilemma for CPIM: http://www.thenewsminute.com/article/vs-or-pinarayi-how-cpim-may-decide-keralas-next-cm-if-ldf-wins-43443 .

ABOUT LOSS IN BENGAL

Irrespective of successes or failures at the outings in the Elections to the Bengal Assembly, All India CPM, and its Bengal Unit, should not have entered into electoral adjustments with Congress. This is not because India is to have CONGRESS-MUKT-BHARAT (India liberated from the Congress Party), but because, such adjustments conflict with Marxist and Socialist goals. The real goal should be BOURGEOISIE PARTIES MUKT BHARAT.

By aligning with Congress in Bengal, CPM's top Leadership and its Bengal Unit have sent a very very bad message to the Bengal voters, that CPM is not truly leftist.

ABOUT VICTORY IN KERALA

There will be nothing to rejoice about this victory, irrespective of whether Shri Achyutanandan or Shri Pinarayi Vijayan becomes Chief Minister.

REASONS: State Governments in India cannot, really, do anything. Most Indian States are financially bankrupt, with probable exception of Maharashtra and Telangana. Indian Constitution and Indian Laws place larger burdens on States, when compared to Government of India. But whenver some good development takes place, Centre may try to take credit for that growth.

The performances of States are crippled by Centre, which interprets every event/incident which takes place in a State, on the basis of whether the State is ruled by itself (Party In Power) or ruled by Opposition. Everything done by a State ruled by an Opposition Party will be wrong in the eyes of the PIP at Centre.

In Telugu language, there is a verse by 13th Century Telugu poet 'Baddena', in his Sumati Satakam (A collection of 100 verses).

kappa vasimcu vidhamu kadarA sumatI. కప్ప వసించిన విధంబు కదరా సుమతీ.

ENGLISH GIST: A person should not serve a master, who relentlessly finds faults in servant's actions. The Poet gave the example of proof: It will be like a frog living under the hood of a snake. (Inference: The snake will devor or swallow it at any moment).

EXAMPLE OF SLAVERY OF MR. CHANDRA BABU NAIDU

Centre's help in all matters is undependable, even if a State supports party in Power at Centre. Example: Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu acts like a slave of the PIP at Centre. He has his TDP Cabinet Minister in the Union Cabinet. Yet, the PIP at Centre has gone back from the promises made by its own leaders, and the items included in its own Manifesto, on the help to be given to the Residual Andhra Pradesh, which was made a sort of orphan both by BJP and Congress jointly, by passing Bifurcation Bill in Lok Sabha, closing doors of the House.

STORY OF WOLF AND GOAT

In Telugu language, there is also a legendary story of 'wolf and goat'. Its gist:

A goat was drinking water at a stream. A wolf found it, and it wanted to kill it. It said to the goat:

'You are polluting the water which I am drinking. Hence, I shall punish you.'

The goat replied: 'I am drinking water downstream. You are drinking water upstream. How can I contaminate your drinking water?'

The wolf said: 'This stream belongs to our ancestors. You are stealing water from my property. Hence I shall punish you.'

The foolish goat ought to have run away. In the meantime, the wolf finished the goat.

The recent introduction of President's rule in Arunachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand proves this intolerance of the PIPs Centre (irrespective of whether Congress is in power or BJP is in power). History proves it: The first non-Congress Government of Nambudripad in Kerala, was removed during Nehru-Indira Gandhi regime.
WHAT SHOULD BE THE RIGHT COURSE for LEFT PARTIES?

Left parties should contest only Lok Sabha Elections to start with. They should concentrate only on principles of Marxism and Socialism. They must try to convince people about the advantages of REMOVING RIGHT TO PRIVATE PROPERTY, CONVERTING PRAYER HOUSES INTO RICE GODOWNS, CREATION OF CONSTITUENCIES ON THE BASIS OF PROLETARIAT CLASSIFICATION INSTEAD OF GEOGRAPHICAL CONSTITUENCIES, REDUCING THE IMPORTANCE OF RELIGION (probably conversion of prayer houses into food grain godowns), REMOVAL OF THE INSTITUTION OF MARRIAGE, BRINGING UP ALL CHILDREN IN STATE-CARE, REMOVAL OF MONEY etc. etc..

The doubts of people should be cleared. It will not be easy to convince people. Yet, intellectual upgradation of the people alone, is the solution, even if it be late.
WHAT WILL BE THE appropriate TIME FOR LEFT PARTIES TO CONTEST TO ASSEMBLIES?

Winning in States and Rajya Sabha are also important for introducing drastic Constitutional Amendments. But coming into power in States, without coming into power at Centre will be futile. Proof: After ruling Bengal for nearly 35 years, CPM has finally reached where? It could not satisfy people. Today, both the people of Bengal, and Indian Citizens outside Bengal, blame CPM for the under-development in Bengal, as if other States are paragons of virtue, and Bengal alone is a hell.

DO YOU WANT DICTATORSHIP IN THE NAME OF COMMUNISM ?

LEFT parties can contest with one another. In course of time, people reject bourgeoisie parties. Keeping this principle in mind, we can encourage large number of Left Parties in India. On the basis of this principle, even CPI and CPM can AGREE to STAY SEPARATE, and COMPETE WITH ONE ANOTHER.

Subject to corrections and deletions. A lot more is to be added. To continue. सशेष. ఇంకా ఉంది.
