1069 Some Musings on Householdership, Monkhood, Contemporary World

I air/outspeak some of my musings/reflections on the Current Scenario in India, and also in Telangana State, Residual Andhra Pradesh State. These musings and reflections do not specifically refer to the diferences of opinion between Shri Katti Mahesh and Shri Paripoornanda Saraswati both of whom live in Hyderabad City, while Shri Mahesh is said to be a native of Chittoor District, and Shri Paripoornanda Saraswati is said to be a Native of Nellore District, both of these Districts being part of Hungry Andhra Pradesh, and Hungry India. But the trigger to me is a TV News Item from Hyderabad, which showed the House Arrest of Shri Paripoornanda Saraswati at his House in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, one of the Richest Areas in Hyderabad City.

First, I shall give links to the FaceBook Addresses of Shri Paripoornanda Saraswati and Shri Katti Mahesh.
click here to go to https://www.facebook.com/SwamiParipoornanandaOfficial.

I believe that this is the Official FaceBook Page, and not a Fake Facebook page of Shri Paripoornanda Saraswati, as the address itself says "Official". Hence, we can, probably rely on what is written here.

The Official Facebook address of Shri Kathi Mahesh, I believe to be: Click here to go to https://www.facebook.com/mahesh.kathi.

I am giving these Facebook addresses here because, I wanted to study these FaceBook pages so as to get a clearer picture of what the two Thinkers wish to convey to the People of Andhra, People of India, and probably to the People of the World also (there is nothing wrong in it).

The Facebook page of Shri Kathi Mahesh has, a post made two hours back, which I quote below:--

Mahesh Kathi, 3 hrs ·

Approx. English transl.: I am condemning the Expulsion from City (of Hyderabad City) of Shri Paripoornanda. Expulsions are not solutions for this problem. Expulsions will be against the modern democratic spirit. It will be a retrograde movement, if Governments move towards a Barbaric Societies which consider that Problems will be solved if people are "removed from the scene" (Telugu word: tappistE, I have taken the Contextual meaning).

Sometimes, events move too fast, before we can even throw a cursory glance on them:--
Telugu Editorial lines from Andhrajyothy.comApprox. English Equivalentybrao-a-donkey's views
Keeping aside politics for a while, let us discuss about the Externments of (Swami) Paripoornanda and Kathi Mahesh, from Hyderabad City. This Editorial seems to be more interested to praise Mr. K. Chandrasekhar Rao , rather than discussing the reasonableness of the punishments served on Shri Kathi Mahesh and Swami Paripoornananda . Why so much eagerness to curry favor Mr. K. Chandrasekhar Rao ?
Whatever be the views of whoever about the Externments of Mahesh & Paripoornanda from City, We cannot resist from congratulating KCR for his courage. This newspaper has some urgency to congratulate Mr. K. Chandrasekhar Rao , for reasons known only to it.
KCR has not thought that by externing Kathi Mahesh, he will incur the wrath of dalits, or that by externing Paripoornanda he will incur the wrath of Hindus, especially, Brahmins. Mr. K. Chandrasekhar Rao will not think about dalits because as a landlord of Telangana he has scant respect for Schedule Castes and Scheduled Tribes of Telangana. Proof: How did he deal with the Illegal Sand Mafia having political support, in Nerella Village which tromped over the agitating villagers who were objecting to their sand-ladden trucks encroaching through their village roads, raising enormous dust? What action did he take against the Police Officials who extended endless co-operation to the Mafia? Mr. K. Chandrasekhar Rao , does not have any consideration towards Brahmins or dalits or anybody who does not own land and wealth. Whatever visits he makes to pilgrim centres and temples, gifts he makes to Gods and Goddesses at State Exchequer's cost, are only superficial, and they arise out of his own guilty-complex.
Externment struck the both, who have tried to incite emotions (of people) for their own selfish purposes. As both belonged to (Residual) Andhra Pradesh, helped the (Telangana) Government. KCR hated/hates/will hate Andhra People calling them 'andhrOLLu' and thieves. It is his OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder).
News reports have come that Kathi Mahesh wanted to join YCP (YSR Congress Party) and is considering to contest as MLA. These news reports I could not see, either in Andhrajyothy or elsewhere. Mr. K. Chandrasekhar Rao is unable to digest a prospect of a dalit (=a dalit who is not a slave of Mr. K. Chandrasekhar Rao ) contesting as MLA, winning an Election, and speaking in Telangana Assembly, rising some dalit problems, apart from some other important issues. Kathi Mahesh, like Kathi Padma Rao is a powerful orator, and he can present issues vigorously and with great self-confidence. Only thing, in this ybr-a-donkey's view is, he needs to be careful before making too-radical-statements, which may drag him to law courts. He may have to learn from the Experiences of Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister of Delhi, who had suffered a lot in the hands of our Central Rulers.

He seems to be a person of limited means, as I see on TV Channels, and if that is true, he may need some financial support. I am not a supporter of Jagan or YSRCP. Jagan or YCRCP might have offered him such financial aid in Elections, and Kathi Mahesh might have got tempted to accept it, without knowing that it will be suicidal. Whatever good name he has got hitherto, there is a danger of , being washed away, by joining a Party led by a person who is accused of quidproquo deals of a trillion rupees (Courts will decide that).
It is an open secret that Paripoornanda is intending to contest to Lok Sabha or Assembly from Hyderabad City in the forthcoming Elections. Monks, leaving their monk-y objectives, contesting Elections-- this Issue will have to be examined in depth, in some other blog post of ours. We have seen the rule of Yogi Adityanath as Chief Minister in Uttar Pradesh. Monks, before getting themselves inducted into monkhood, are reported to perform a fire-worship-ritual called 'viraja hOmam', in the course of which they perform their own funerals, obituaries, as a proof of their final determination to "terminate forever" all their body attachments. A true monk is not expected to consider his body as his own. A monk has to shed his attachments-- particularly "sangam (bonds)" , "rAgam (likes)" and "dvEsham (dislikes)". I have great respect to Paripoornananda and Adityanath. Yet, I have to write truths, from my perceptions and perspectives. We cannot see this Spirit of Detachment either in Paripoornanda or in Adityanath. Simply wearing ochre-robes do not make persons sanyAsIs (relinquishers). Such persons will only become ochre-robers, and not monks. True Hindu monks have to forget that their bodies were Hindu, or that they belonged to Hindu Society. Not marrying also does not make persons- monks, while lay people may think that monks make great sacrifices by not marrying.
As both have clear-cut political agenda, at the first available opportunity, KCr has used his axe on both. KCR will not like powerful rivals.
Kathi Mahesh or Paripoornanda might not have anticipated this development. It is like a hunter ignoring the serpant at his feet which is going to bite him, while he aims his arrow to kill a bird. Kathi Mahesh and Paripoornanda are like hunters whose eyes are focused on the bird in the bush, while KCR is the cobra at their feet.
Chief Minister KCR went to the house of Shri Paripoornanda and took his blessings. ! Politicians apart from being many other things, are hypocrites also.
Through this action, Chief Minister has made clear that, it will not work, if monks do politics, without remaining as monks. Mr. K. Chandrasekhar Rao believes that his family members alone have a right to sit on the throne. Prof. Kodanda Ram and Gaddar might have already learnt their lessons at the feet of Mr. K. Chandrasekhar Rao .
Here is a situation, where Dalit Societies and Unions cannot object saying "How can a dalit be administered a punishment of externment? Here is a situation where other monks and other Monastic Heads cannot largely object saying "What is this punishment for a Monk?" . I do not blame Dalit Societies or Dalit Unions. Dalit Weaknesses all over India give strength to the Ruling Landed Castes in Villages and Cities, to exploit the Poor.
The Bharatiya Janata Party leaders who expressed their support to Paripoornananda also do not like his contesting in Elections. BJP leaders expect some Nominated Posts in Centre, as "Consolation Prizes", even if they lose elections. Example: Maharashtra Governorship to Mr. Vidyasagar Rao. Our Parties in Power are like Crowded General Compartments of Indian Railways. Those who are inside, will not like new-comers to enter the bogeys. They will shout "No space, No space. Go to next bogey!". Envy also plays a role.
Mr. K. Chandrasekhar Rao has practically demonstrated that in his kingdom, there will be this type of punishments, to those who misuse their mouth. A rude person can never tolerate other rude persons. Proof: He called Mr. Manmohan Singh, a chaprasi. Mr. K. Chandrasekhar Rao is a tyrant. But, this tiger will be a goat before Asaduddin Owaisi and Akbaruddin Owaisi.
But, no reply is forthcoming, from Mr. K. Chandrasekhar Rao, to the question whether he will take a similar action against the Majlis Leaders Mr. Asaduddin, Akbaruddin (Owaisi-s) who have made comments far worser than those made by these two people (Kathi Mahesh & Paripoornanda). Mr. K. Chandrasekhar Rao , like other Landed Caste Leaders of Telangana Villages, is a slave of Nizam.

753 Is Shirdi Sai Baba a God?

Is Shirdi Sai Baba a God? Can he be worshipped in Hindu Temples, or in separate special temples? This burning question is doing rounds in the Telugu TV Channels. Every day, some saffron-clad monk is invited to the Studio, and interrogated by the anchors to obtain categorical replies. It appears that Shri Paripoornanda Saraswati of Kakinada seem to be a devotee of Satya Sai Baba. Both the Swaroopanandendra Saraswatis of Dwaraka and Visakhapatnam seem to question Shirdi Sai Baba's worship in Hindu Temples. There is also a mention of some Meeting of Monks taking place at Ujjain Kumbh Mela of Kshipra River, to discuss threadbare the whole thing and decide on the issue.

Tell categorically, without behaving like a cat-on-wall, whether Shirdi Sai Baba is a God?

1. There is no definition of a God(dess).

2. There is no clarity whether humans can be worshipped as Gods, simply because they have performed some miracles during their life time, or they have made some silly sacrifices or unintended forced sacrifices. There is also no acceptable evidence of the performance of such miracles. They are only HEARSAY stories. Persons surrounding God persons, create stories, magnify them out of proportions, with a view to maintain the popularity of the pilgrim centre, and often they themselves have / had vested interests in maintaining the GOD status of the God person.

3. Innocent people, greedy people, timid people may accept anything under the sky as God(dess), without questioning. Stone, Plants, Animals, Rivers, Wall facing Arabia, Pulpits, humans, everything is prayer-worthy, as long as they get a mistaken impression that their desires are being fulfilled, that their fears are being allayed, that there is an alround perception of protection.

4. People, particularly proletariat (working class), non-sweating working class, need intellectual upgradation. They have to start using their brains and minds independently.

5. In blog-post No.701 (Click here to if you wish to study 701) , we have recalled how in erstwhile Soviet Union, soon after the Bolshevik Revolution, people converted their Churches into potato warehouses.

If true complete socialism is brought out by Indian Proletariat voters through their votes in General Elections to Indian Parliament, and if ballot revolutions take place repeatedly over at least 4 general elections continuously in two decades, probably our proletariat workers may also decide to decide proper roles for our prayer-houses of all religions. Of course, this is a dream and a fantasy.

6. Shirdi Sai Baba was just a human. He might have had some qualities of love etc. But, basically he was a person, who did not perform any work for his livelihood. In that sense, he was a burden on the society of those days. Besides, he misled gullible people into superstitiously believing him that he was a God.

7. Today, millions of Indians believe that Shirdi Sai Baba was a God, impressed by stories woven around him by fanatics or those who do the business of "God and the Religion". It will be very difficult to wean them away from their superstitious beliefs. Only an enlightened proletariat can do it.

In true complete socialism, the risks, fears, uncertainties, hardships which people face will be removed through Socialist Economies and Socialist Societies. Then there will be no need of CRUTCHES of Gods and God persons.

8. In the mean time, hundreds of thousands of Sai Temples have been built in India, occupying roads, adding congestion to the traffic. Sai Temples have become a source of livelihood to priests, traders, and mendicants.

9. There may not be anything wrong if Hindu Temples remove the idols and photos of Shirdi Sai Baba, being worshipped in their premises, NOT BECAUSE SAI BABA WAS A MUSLIM, but because, Shirdi Sai Baba was a human who lived only in 20th Century. He was just a mortal. It is immaterial whether he has performed, or not performed some miracles. Worshippers of Shirdi Sai Baba can either build separate temples for their perceived-God, or probably worship him with greater devotion in their homes, without much noise. Ultimately, in true complete socialism, all prayers and worships may have to be confined to homes, if proletariat repeatedly elected Parliament decides to convert prayer houses of ALL RELIGIONS into POTATO GODOWNS or RICE GODOWNS.

10. This is only a personal opinion of ybrao-a-donkey, expressed as loud thinking. Well, others can have divergent views.

750 1 of 10series How to distinguish a Tom Dick and Harry from XYZ? Tom-Dick-and-Harry's starting pITHams and calling themselves 'pITHAdhipatis' !!!

This is in continuation of our blog post No.267 (Click to study blogpost No.267 . It was on 24th June 2014, i.e. nearly two years back. During these two years, there is no change in the position in India, about people blindly worshipping Shirdi Sai Baba, treating him as God, capable of bestowing boons on devotees, attributing him miracles. At that time, the trigger was Swami Swaroopanandenda Saraswati, of Dvaraka Monastery's advice to people not to worship Shidri Sai Baba as he was not a God. Today, again Telugu TV Channel TV9, re-opened the issue, by means of a discussion with Swami Paripoornananda. Click to go to Youtube TV9 interview dated 11.05.2016. . The title of the interview is "Is Shiridi Sai Baba not God ?".

The Lady interviewer of the Channel, has tried to ask some penetrating questions to Swami Paripoornanda- the monk from Kakinada, and obtain answers for them. Like Shri Chaganti Koteswara Rao, titles "SAradA gnAna putra శారదా జ్ఞానపుత్ర", "sanAtana dharma ratnAkara సనాతన ధర్మ రత్నాకర" , "pravacana cakravarti ప్రవచన చక్రవర్తి " , and now Shri Paripoornanda Saraswati, openly accepted that they pray to Shirdi Sai Baba, and that they are his devotees.

The Lady interviewer, quite intelligently raised the view of Shri Ramana nanda Maharshi, (who calls himself Siddha guru and Maharshi) who challenged the Visakhapatnam Head of the Sarada Pitham for an open debate. He has also released a book titled 'nAto vAdana - daiva Sakti pradarSana ku siddhamA?' (Meaning of this Telugu title: Debate with me - (Are you) ready for the demonstration of the Divine Power? http://www.andhrajyothy.com/Artical?SID=239849 .

Shri Ramananda Maharshi runs a pITham (a sort of prayer-house dedicated to a particular God) by name 'Shirdi Sai anugraha pItham' (English: The Base of Shirdi Sai's Grace'). He has challenged both the Dwaraka Monastery Head 'Swami SwaroopAnandendra Saraswati', and the Visakhapatnam Sarada Monastery Head 'Swami SwaroopAnandendra Saraswati' (same name to both the monks), for an open debate. It seems that he has also offered to bet his Shirdi Sai anugraha pITham, with the condition that if he loses the bet he will give away his Shirdi Sai pITham, and that if Dwaraka Monk loses the debate, he should surrender to him his Dwaraka Monastery.

Meaning of the Sanskrit name SwaroopAnandendra Saraswati, for the benefit of those who do not know: Swaroopa = One's own form. Ananda = deriving pleasure, from seeing one's own form. Indra = Chief or Head of those who derive joy by looking into one's own form.

Back to TV9's interview with Swami Paripoornanda Saraswati

.

At one point of time Shri ParipoornAnanda temporarily lost control over himself , and used the English phrase "Every Tom, Dick and Harry cannot call himself a pIThAdhipati". Later, he shifted to the phrase "every XYZ cannot call himself a pITHAdhipati". His reference may be to: Shri Ramananda Maharshi, who claims himself to be the Head of Shirdi Sai Anugraha pITHam.

Shri Paripoornanda also wanted that Govt. should place restrictions on 'freedom of speech' of individuals.

FACTs about pITHadhipatis and PITHams:

The wooden platform on which the idols of Gods and Goddesses are placed, is called 'pITHam' in Sanskrit. Telugu: pITa. In Telugu pITa is a flat low-heighted wooden seat, often used for dining on floor upto 20th Century India, when people used to eat on Floor, before Indians aped Europeans eating on dining tables. (Refer our blog post about Pranab Mukherjee, President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee eating on floor, when he was a less-known ordinary politician.

It is also a practice that idols of Gods and Goddesses are placed on wooden platforms, and worshipped. This is one method. Later on even when idols are embedded onto the ground, by shifting them from the wooden platforms, the places are still called pITHams.

It is a practice that the person who starts the pIThams started calling himself 'pITHAdhipati'. (Master of the pITham). He, before his death, appoints one of his disciples as successor to his pITham. Thus, there will be a series of successors to pIThams over some Centuries in history. Adi Shankaracharya of the 8th Century A.D. (Adi = 1st) is believed to have started the famous pIThams Badari (Uttarakhand State, India), Puri (Odissa State, India), Sringeri (Karnataka State, India), dwAraka (Gujarat State, India). kanchi pITham in Tamil Nadu also claims to have been founded by Adi Shankaracharya. Adi Shankaracharya appointed his disciples Sureswara, PadmapAda, tOTakacharya, Hastamalaka as the Heads of the Pithams started by him. The successor Heads of the PIThams also have started calling themselves "Shankaracharyas". In addition, they have started prefixing their names with the title Jagadguru (Preceptor of the World).

It must be remembered that Hinduism is not a religion at all. Just as Anona Squimoza is a compound fruit, or grapes are a bunch of fruits, Hinduism is just a culture of multiple religions, some of which belonged to cults which invaded India, and some of which are native to India. Consequently, Hinduism does not have a spiritual Head, or hierarchies of administration. Every person is independent ! In the name of caste system (called cAtur varNyam), priests started to exercise control over gullible people.

The Sri pItham which Swami Paripoornanada Saraswati heads, the Sarada Pitham which Swami SwaroopAnandendra Saraswati Head, the Shiridi Sai Anugraha pITHam which Ramananda Maharshi heads, etc. etc. are all creations of individuals of the 20th and 21st Centuries.

If we have to apply the 'Tom-Dick-and-Harry' idiom calling themselves 'pIThADhipatis' ( commented by paripOOrNanda Saraswati) to the Heads, we should apply the Tom-Dick-and Harry maxim (adage) to all the PITHAMs started in 20th and 21st Centuries, including Swami paripOORNAnda. Fortunately, in the interview itself, Paripoornanda seemed to have declared that he is not a 'pITHAdhipati'. His idea seems to be only the ancestral Shankaracharya pIThas Badari, Poori, Sringeri, Dwaraka, Kanchi are to be treated as pITHAs and pITHAdhipatis.

701 Our Monks and Preachers of all religions, have to learn a lot from Narada

Place is Kadiri, Anantapur District, Residual Andhra Pradesh State, India. Occasion, a house warming ceremony. Present: Our great great Preacher ParipUrNAnanda Saraswati, self-appointed Head of Sripitham, Kakinada. Date: Approx. 11th March 2016. Public Preaching: Sakshi Newspaper. Link: Click here if you wish to go to Sakshi Newspaper and read the original report. Our Sage advised people to breed four children per family. First one to go to Save the Country. The second one is to look after parents. The third and fourth children, for earning money. Our Sage has also advised people to allocate a Room for Praying, and spend at least half an hour per day on praying.

"...దేశ జనాభా పెరిగిపోతోందన్న బెంగ అక్కర్లేదు. ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ నలుగుర్ని కనండి. వారిలో ఒకరిని దేశసేవ కోసం పంపండి. ఇంకొకరు తల్లిదండ్రులను చూసుకుంటారు. మిగిలిన ఇద్దరూ సంపాదించడానికి సరిపోతారు ..."

Approx. English: "...No need to worry about the Population Explosion (in this country). Every one of you, breed four (children). Send on of them to serve the country. Another person will take care of parents. The remaining two persons will be enough to earn money. ..."

Approx. English: "...Some persons say that they are unable to find time to go temple and pray God. This is not correct. For praying God, at least half-an-hour should be allocated in a day. Every house contains a Prayer-Room. It is not for the God. It is the room allocated by you for yourself, to pray God. ..."

Population of India has gone up from 36 crore in 1947, to 130 crore in 2016. This country is unable to meet the demands for foodgrains, clothing, housing, old age security, education, health-care. Whatever we produce is not sufficient for this population. In a few years, we are going to surpass China, as the LARGEST POPULATED COUNTRY IN THE WORLD.

The problem with our preachers of ALL RELIGIONS is, they think that they know everything.

In our country, our householders know more than PREACHERS OF ALL RELIGIONS. This is because, preachers never work hard for their livelihood. They live as parasites, collecting donations from Realtors, corrupt bureaucrats and politicians, blackmarketeers, smugglers, financial offenders.

It is hightime and imperative that PREACHERS do something at least part-time for their livelihood. They should try to produce some goods or services which will be really useful to the society. At least, they should spin some yarn on a spinning wheel or a takli, everyday, enough for their ochre robes, or preaching dresses.

Some relevant Epic tales and Folk Tales are worth recollecting.

TALE OF BULLOCKS WORKING HARD ON OUR agricultural FARMS

Once Lord Shiva called his Vehicle Nandi and asked him to go to Earth and deliver a message to all humans: "Bathe trice a day. Eat once". Nandi went to earth. He forgot Shiva's message on the way, and reversed his sentences. He told humans: "Eat trice a day. Bathe once". As per Shiva's instructions conveyed through Nandi, all the humans (in India) started eating trice a day, and bathing once a day. As food-grain consumption went up, scarcity of food resulted. The News reached Lord Shiva. He called Nandi and sought his explanation. Nandi confessed his error. Lord Shiva, then directed Nandi: "Owing to your error, food scarcity arose on Earth (India). Go to earth, become a plough bullock, till the soil, help the farmer in cultivation, and enable him to produce enough food.

Thus we have (had) bullocks- incarnation of NandISvara, all over India, to help farmers in ploughing land, carrying produce to home by pulling carts, etc. etc. Nandi's female version, Cow started nurturing us with its milk. Of course, oxen are disppearing in India, with the advent of tractors. Actually, we should breed more oxen and cows AND NOT HUMANS, and save them from becoming an endangered specis. Till then, shall we expect that our Swamijis who want us to breed four children, to help us in ploughing our lands, by carrying yokes. (yoke=yOGA).

Our preacher Swamijis do not know, that there is no link between the number of children and the welfare of old parents. We can see numerous examples, where parents who have bred more than two children, being abandoned by their sons and daughters, because they themselves have no food to eat. In respect of two children families, be they sons or daughters, they will at least have some money to the old parents, though they may be working at a distant place, as there is no land to cultivate. Taking care of old parents, depends more on the "character" and the "circumstances" of the children.

In India's culture, "sanyAsa" is the last stage (Ashrama) of our lives. The first is brahmacharya (celibacy i.e. the stage of studenthood), the second is grihastha (householder), the third is vAnaprastha (residing in a forest- with intent to curtail family bonds gradually), and the fourth and final: sanyAsa (Renunciation). A person who directly skips the two most important stages of householdership, and solitary-dwelling and jumps to Renunciation, will not get true renunciation.

Such monk will be immature, because he will not know the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT analysis) of a householder. Calling immature monks "fake" monks will be too rude a vocabulary, though in reality they are fake. Another reason, is a person who jumps householdership and solitary-forest-living will not be able to shed "sangam" i.e. "attachments". Though such monk may wear kAshAyas (ochre-red robes), he will not be free from "rAgam" and "dvEsham" i.e. "my" and "their". Consequently, our monks of ALL RELIGIONS suffer from a false attitude of "my religion is great", "their religion is trash", whereas in reality every religion will have its own merits and demerits.

So the message from the foregoing paragraph: If at all any advice is to be given, that discourse should be given by a householder. The Receivers of the messages should be monks. Not vice versa. The householder should be such, who has discharged all his householders duties as per the SAstras, and used his spare time to earn "gnAna" (awareness).

This is the message which our Great Epic Mahabharata conveyed through the Stories of the Monk Kausika, the Housewife- whom Kausika wanted to reduced in ashes by looking at her in anger as if cursing her, the "dharmavyAdha" the meat-seller whom Kausika had to approach for seeking gnAna.

IS DAILY PRAYER OF AT LEAST HALF-AN-HOUR NECESSARY? IS A PRAYER-ROOM NECESSARY?

There is no proof of existence of God. Even if he-she exists, there is no proof of his-her listening to our prayers or paying attention to our meditations.

If at all a God exists, if at all he-she listens to prayers of ONLY DEVOTEES, and saves them, then he-she will not be a God-Goddess at all. There will not be any difference between a higher officer who heeds to "flatterers" and the God-Goddesses who listen to "prayer-walahs".

We are here to do our duty towards ourselves, our family, our society, our country, our Earth (prakriti), and disappear in due course, just as a ripe leaf or a ripe fruit falls on earth and disintegrates.

Prayers result only in waste of time. Unfortunately, there are religions in the world, in India, in Andhra Pradesh, which require their followers to pray five times a day. The followers also blindly go to the prayerhouses and pray, because there will mikes, there will be colleagues to remind and press attendance. It is all waste of time and effort.

People are neither sheep, nor God-Goddesses are shepherds.

Where is the space for prayer rooms? Our Swamiji may be visiting HOUSES OF RICH PERSONS who have many rooms. In these days of spiralling prices and rents, even if we pay Rs. 10,000 per month, we can't get a portion / flat with a prayer room. Even in case of own houses, amidst spiralling prices, middle class families are also under pressure to close their prayer rooms and let them out to make some moolah.

In most houses of poor and lower-middle class, apart from a kitchen, there will be a multi-purpose room called "living room" in which there will be a small or big TV. All the family members eat there. Children do their home-work sitting before TVs. During the night, while husband and wife sleep in a small adjacent bed room, parents and children sleep in the TV Room. In our cities, couples who have a BED ROOM should be considered as the luckiest. Else, even breeding children will have to take place in the TV Room or kitchen.

Childhood experiences of ybrao-a-donkey

My father, when he had four children, he could not look after his parents. Nor could do it, after he got six children.

When I was studying V to VIII at Bapatla, our family used to live in a rented portion consisting of one room and one warrandah. The one room was used as kitchen-cum-store-cum-dining-room. Our family of father-mother + 3 children used to sleep in the warrandah. My fourth brother was born in the warrandah.

When I was studying IX to XVII in Guntur, our family used to live in a thatched hut measuring 10' x 12 ft. In a 3' thatched warrandah attached to it in front, we used to tie a miltch buffalo and its calf. My last two brothers were born in the hut.

My paternal grandfather died a pauper in spite of having 7 children. My maternal grandfather died, making my maternal grandmother a housemaid for livelihood, leaving 7 children to bring up. My father-in-law too suffered from 6 children.

The purpose of writing these personal things is NOT FOR BOASTING. I wish that children in families with more than 2 children should not suffer a hell, because their parents breed more and more under influence from our Preachers, politicians (Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu (See my blog Post No. ), as far as I recollect Mr. Narendra Modi, also talked about India's Prosperity with More Children). Our Preachers and Rulers seem to think that Population is Wealth !

Preachers of all religions have every right to defend and propagate their religions, probably raise the populations of their religions. BUT THEY SHOULD NOT , IN THE PROCESS, CAUSE GREAT INCONVENIENCE AND SUFFERING TO THE NEW CHILDREN WHO WILL BE BORN, because people are gullible. They may think that their religion will be safe, if they breed four children, instead of just one or two.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST, ONE STORY FOR OUR GREAT GREAT MONK

Sage Narada, we all know was a great devotee of Lord Vishnu. Narada used to take great pride in his devotion to Vishnu. Vishnu knew it, and wanted to teach Narada a lesson. From this point we get two BRANCHES of the stories.

STORY 1

Lord Vishnu gave Narada, a plate full of oil, filled upto its brim and edges. Lord asked Narada to carry it along all the three worlds, without SPILLING EVEN A DROP on the way.

Narada toured all the three worlds and came back with the Oil Plate. He said "HAh hhahha". He added "I came back successfully as instructed by you without spilling even a drop of oil on the ground".

Vishnu: "I am glad you have great concentration. But, I shall ask you one question? During your travel, how many times, did you think of me?". Narada knows that Vishnu knew, that he (Narada) did not think of Lord, even once.

Lord said smiling: "You have all the time in the world, to pray me. No wonder, you spent some of your time praying me. Now, the householder on Earth has to attend to so many domestic problems. How do you want him to spare time for praying God?

STORY 2

Lord Vishnu asked Narada to fetch him some drinking water. Narada went to River to bring water. There, he found a damsel. Tempted by her beauty, Narada asked the girl to marry him. She directed Narada to her father. With her father's consent, both married. They got children, grand children. With large family and number of mouths to feed, Narada was searching everyday for ways and means to fill the bellies of their children. Narada forgot about water which he had to carry from the River to Lord Vishnu. Then, there was a big flood. Narada's whole family, i.e. wife, children, grand-children were swept away. Narada found himself alone on the River Bank, with an empty pot. He forgot the purpose for which he went there.

Later, when he went to Vaikuntham (Vishnu's abode), Lord reminded him about the water, which has to bring from the River. Then Narada realised his mistake.

At present our three Defence forces ( Army, Navy, Airforce) do not face any shortage of humans (prima facie). The shortage is highly-critical for guns, tanks, vehicles, drones, missiles, frigates, fighter aircraft, ice-breaking trucks, radars, reconnaissance vessels etc etc. We need billions to import them. Alternatively, we have to manufacture them in India, purchasing foreign technology. Now our Swamiji wants to more kAli banTlu !!!

By just prefixing "paripoorNa" (all-complete, fully integrated), nobody will become paripOOrNa. By suffixing Saraswati, to an artificial name, nobody will become a real Saraswati (Goddess of Learning). This happened for Swami Vivekananda (Ananda = Joy. Viveka= Wisdom. A person who gets joy from Wisdom). Finally what did our Great Vivekananda rejoice in doing? Sacrificing a goat for Durga Pooja. Fancy names may make innocent persons to believe that whatever said by our Ochre-robe wearers are great words.

Names do not alter facts. A person named "PenTaiah" , in real life, may be a gentleman and good samaritan.

Question: How will you solve this problem, when your pet philosophy of "True Socialism" is implemented?

Ans: Who am I to decide ? I may not even be alive by that time. The Proletariat Parties who compete with one another in a Proletarian Democracy have to decide, whether to allocate some physical work to all preachers and discoursers or not. In my personal view, there will be no need of Preachers and Discoursers in a Proletarian Democracy. Soviet Union immediately after the Bolshevik Revolution showed the way, by converting Churches into Potato godowns. (Later they were reconverted back into Churches, it is a different story).

So what is the summary of this Episode?

English: If any person is unable to do good to his country, it will be suffice if he does not do anything which is harmful to the country.
