Context: Mr. Sadananda Gowda is our Railway Minister.  He is reported in Media to have conducted a surprise inspection of the Sabarmati Railway Station in Gujarat on 30th Sept. 2014.  He is said to be unhappy with the filthy and unhygienic condition of the lavatories at the Station.  He is reported to have suspended the Sabarmati Railway Station Master.  Mr. Gowda is said to have observed that wherever he went, he first checked the condition of general toilets to ensure if railway staff followed cleanliness. When asked about the railway ministry's 'Clean India Campaign', Gowda is reported to have declared that cleanliness is the priority of his ministry and it has a detailed plan to implement it.

Suspending an employee where an employee is to be done when an employee commits a major omission or commission.   This should not be resorted to, too frequently.  It should be undertaken after giving an opportunity to the employee to explain his side of things, to correct himself by giving him reasonable time and resources. 

ఒక ఉద్యోగిని లేక వర్కర్ ని సస్పెండ్ చేయటం అనే పని అతడు ఏదైనా తీవ్రమైన ఒమిషన్ (చేయాల్సిన పనిచేయకపోటం) లేక కమిషన్ (చేయకూడని పనిని చేయటం) కు పాల్పడినపుడు జరగాలి.  అంతే తప్ప చీటికి మాటికి జరగకూడదు.  పనివాడికి తన తరఫునుండి చెప్పుకునేదేమైనా ఉన్నదేమో వినాలి.  తనతప్పును తాను సరిదిద్దుకోటానికి న్యాయమైన సమయాన్ని మరియు వనరులను ఇవ్వాలి.

एक कर्मचारी को सस्पॆंड करने का काम जब वह तीव्र ऒमिषन (करने का काम नहीं करना) या कमिषन (निषिध्ध काम करना) किये तो होना।  वह बार बार नहीं होना।   कर्मचारी को अपने समस्याओं को विवरण करने के अवकाश अवश्य देना है।  उस को अपने को सही करने के मौका देना चाहिए।  उसको काम करने के लिये साधन संपत्ति दिया हुआ है या नहीं दिया हुआ है, देखना पडेगा।

An employee may have dozens of duties to perform.  He may have load of work which is beyond his capacity.  The work load may vary from railway station to station.  In heavy routine stations, heavy traffice stations, with shortage of staff, a station master will have no choice except attend to only top priority items, and seek help from superiors for the remaining load.

एक कर्मचारि को डजनों विधि कृत्य़ सौंप दिया हुआ होगा।  वह अपने शक्ती और क्षमता से ज्यादा काम का बोझ वहते होगा।  काम के बोझ में एक रैलवे स्टेषन और दूसरे रैलवे स्टेषन के मध्य बहुत अंतर रह सकते।

Does Mr. Sadananda Gowda who sits in New Delhi know the problems faced by the Railway Station Master at Sabarmati?  If Railway Station Masters are to be suspended for dirty toilets, then 99% of Indian Railway Stations are dirty, and 99% of Station Masters will have to be suspended.

ఢిల్లీలో కూర్చునే సదానంద గౌడుడికి తృణమూల స్థాయిలో పనిచేసే సబర్మతి స్టేషన్ మాస్టరు ఎదుర్కునే సమస్యలు తెలుసా.  మురికి టాయిలెట్లకు రైల్వే స్టేషన్ మాస్టర్లలను సస్పెండ్ చేయాల్సి వస్తే , దేశంలో ౯౯% రైల్వే స్టేషన్లు మురికి టాయిలెట్లను కలిగి ఉంటాయి.  అంటే ౯౯% స్టేషన్ మాస్టర్లను సస్పెండ్ చేయాల్సి వస్తుంది.

दिल्ली मे बैठनेवाले सदानंद गौडा महाराज को सबर्मती स्टेषन मे तृणमूल स्थायि मे रेलवे स्टेषन मास्टर के आचरणात्मक समस्याओं कैस समझ में आयेगा।  असाध्य।  अगर गंदे टायिलॆट् कॆ लिये स्टेशन मास्टर्स को सस्पॆंड करने का नियम पालन करना तो, देश में ९९% स्टेशन मास्टर्स को सस्पॆंड करना पडेगा।  क्योंकि देश में ९९% रेलवे स्टेशनों मे हम गंदे टायिलेट्स को ही हम देख सकते हैं।

What should be the No. 1 Key Performance Area (KPA) of a Station Master?  It must be safety of trains and passengers.  Second: Maintenance of timings of trains.  Third: Maximising ticket sales.  I do not wish to say that getting toilets cleaned should not get any importance.   But, definitely it cannot claim or command No 1 rank in priorities.

ఒక రైల్వే స్టేషన్ మాస్టర్ యొక్క ప్రప్రధమ ప్రాధాన్య కర్తవ్యం ఏమి అవ్వాలి.  నాదృష్టిలో రైళ్ల మరియు ప్రయాణీకుల భద్రత.  రెండవ ప్రాధాన్యత సమయ పాలన.  మూడవ ప్రాధాన్యత టికెట్ల అమ్మకాన్ని పెంచటం.  టాయిలెట్లను శుభ్రం చేయించటం ప్రాధాన్యతను పొందకూడదనినేననను.  కానీ అది కీలకమైన అంశం కాదు. కాకూడదు.

एक रेल्वे स्टेशन मास्टर के प्रप्रधम कर्तव्य क्या होना।  गाडियों, स्टेशन, और पासॆंजर्से के भद्रता होना।  द्वितीय समया पालन।  तृतीय, टिकॆट सेल्स को बढाना.  टायलॆट्स को क्लीन कराने के विधि रहता है, लेकिन वह सर्व प्रधम विधि कभी नहीं बन सकते।  वह कीलक अंश नहीं है, और नहीं होना।

We know Mr. Modi's craze for publicity. How can his followers lag behind? They want to be noticed by Mr. Narendra Modi, that something is being done by Urban Development Minister or HRD Minister or Railway Minister. For this reason only, the Railway Minister, seems to have chosen Ahmedabad's Sabarmati Station, which is in the native State of Gujarat.

మన శ్రీనరేంద్ర మోడీ గారి ప్రచార కాంక్ష గురించి మనకు తెలుసు. ఆయన అనుచరులు ఆయన కన్నా వెనుకబడి ఉంటే ఎలాగా. వాళ్ళు, తాము చేస్తున్న ఘనకార్యాలు శ్రీ మోడీ గారి దృష్టికి వెళ్ళాలని కోరుకుంటున్నట్లు కనిపిస్తుంది. అందుకే రైలు మంత్రి గారు, శ్రీ మోడీ గారి స్వరాష్ట్రమైన గుజరాత్ లోని అహమ్మదాబాద్ సబర్మతి రైల్వే స్టేషన్ ను ఎంచుకున్నట్లు తోన్తున్నది.

శश्री नरेंद्र मोडी के प्रचार कांक्षा हम सब को सुपरिचित है। अभी उनके अनुयायी पीछे कैसे रह सकते। उन अत्युत्साह शाली अपने घन कार्य श्री मोदी के दृष्टि में जाना चाहते होगा। इसी कारण से, हमारे रैल मंत्री, श्री मोदी के स्वराष्ट्र गुजरात के अहम्मदाबा सबरमती को छाँट लिया दिख रहा है।

It can never be. Our President of India, has transferred the Maharashtra Governor to Mizoram. Even assuming that Mr. Sankaranarayanan's performance is not satisfactory, he cannot be transferred to Mizoram, simply because Mizoram is not a dust bin to trash Governors. Mizoram is a State which deserves due respect on par with Maharashtra. Dumping Shankarnarayanan on Mizoram will be insulting that State.

Mr. Narendra Modi said that India will gain if North East gains. By dumping Shankaranarayanan in Mizoram, how North East will gain? నరేంద్ర మోడీ గారే అన్నారు, ఈశాన్య భారత్ లాభ పడితేనే, భారత్ లాభపడుతుందని. మహారాష్ట్రకి జంక్ గా కనపడిన శంకరనారాయణ గారిని మిజోరామ్ లో పారేస్తే, ఈశాన్య భారత్ ఎలా లాభపడుతుంది? नरेंद्र मोडीजी ही बोला: अगर ईशान्य भारत को लाभ मिले, सारे भारत को लाभ मिलेगा। महाराष्ट्र के जंक शंकरनारायणन को मिजोरां मे गिरावट करने से मिजोराम या ईशान्य भारत को फायिदा कैसा पहुँचेगा?

केंद्र सरकार, पिछले महीने में गुजरात राज्यपाल को मिजोराम मे गिरावट किये। वहा से उस को मकान भेजे। अभी शंकरनारायणन को गिरावट कर रहे है। आगे क्या? हाहा!! सुशासन!! Central Government, few months back, dumped the Gujarat Governor in Mizoram. From there, she was sent home. Now, they are dumping Sankarnarayanan. Haha!! What a good governance!! కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం కొద్ది నెలల క్రితమే, గుజరాత్ గవర్నర్ ను మిజోరాంలోకి విసిరేసింది. తరువాత ఆమెను ఇంటికి పంపింది. ఇపుడు శంకరనారాయణన్ ను విసిరేస్తున్నారు. హాహా!! సుశాసనం అంటే ఇదేనేమో.

డిఆర్ డివో వారి చాల కార్యక్రమాలు గడువు తేదీని అతిక్రమించి నడుస్తూ ఉండవచ్చు. వారు వెనుక బడి ఉండ వచ్చు. దానికి కారణాలను వెతికి సరిదిద్దటం ఒక కర్తవ్యం. डिआरडिवो के परिशोधन और विकास कार्य धीरे धीरे चल रहे होगा। उसके समाधान के लिये हम समस्या के अंतरनिहित कारणों को सही ढंग से पकडना और सूधारात्मक कारवाई शुरू करना। R & D Programs of DRDO may be progressing tardily. The solution for that will be to identify the underlying reasons and initiating corrective action.

The previous Governments relished importing defence requirements, because they had foreign exchange reserves pooled from foreign investments, except probably A.K. Anthony, who spoke of some self-reliance and import substitution in defence procurements. Besides, there were kickbacks when aircrafts and weapons were purchased. प्रस्तुत मोडी सरकारी भी यू एस ए, चैना, इज्रेल, ब्रिटन, फ्रान्स, इटली आदी सर्कारों से रक्षा उत्पत्तियों को खरीदने के लिये दबाव में पड सकते है। रक्षा आयात को रुकना इतना आसान नहीं है। अगर सरकार को, सही तरगती रक्षा सामग्री विकास करने के लिये चित्त शुध्धि, नेकनीयती है तो, वह पहले सैन्याधिपति और डीआरडीवो विकासाधिपति मध्यगत टुटा हुआ पूल को फिर से बांधना पडता। There is also a grave risk of the present Modi Govt. also falling in the trap of pressures from the Govts. of U.S.A., China, Israel, Britain, France, Italy etc. It is not so easy to stop the imports of defence equipment, weapons and aircraft. If the Govt. has sincerity and honesty to produce the right class of defence equipment, first it should rebuild the broken bridge between the procurement recommending armed forces, navy, and Airforce Officials on one side and the DRDO scientists on the other side. ప్రస్తుత మోడీ ప్రభుత్వం కూడ ఆయుధాలను, విమానాలను, రక్షణ ఉత్పత్తులను తమనుండి కొనాల్సిందేనని, అమెరికా, ఇంగ్లండ్, ఫ్రాన్సు, చైనా, ఇటలీ, ఇజ్రేల్ మొ|| దేశాల ప్రభుత్వాలనుండి తీవ్ర వత్తిడులకు గురి అయ్యే అవకాశం ఉంది. రక్షణ ఉత్పత్తులు, విమానాలు, ఆయుధాల దిగుమతులను ఆపటం అంత తేలీకేమీ కాదు. వివిధ తరగతులకు చెందిన రక్షణ ఉత్పత్తుల ను భారత్ లోనే తయారు చేయాలనే చిత్తశుధ్ధి , నిజాయితీ ప్రభుత్వానికి ఉంటే, ముందుగా త్రివిధ దళ సైన్యాధికారులు, రక్షణ శా ఖ అధికారులు, డిఆర్ డి వో శాస్త్రవేత్తల మధ్య విరిగిన వంతెనను పునర్మిర్మించటానికి కృషి చేయాలి.

తగిన సహాయం చేయటం వల్ల పని లో స్వయం చోదకత్వం, సామర్ధ్యం పెరుగుతాయి. समयोचित, पर्याप्त, सक्षम मदद करने से काम करने में स्वयं चोदकता, और सामर्ध्य बढता है। Self-Motivation, efficiency and effectiveness grow multifold with timely, adequate, enabling help.

Arrows and darts which have pierced into the body, can be with some dexterity, taken out and the body healed. But, petulant words which have pierced into brain, heart, and mind cannot be removed in spite of employing numerous methods.

nindantu nIti nipuNAm yadi va stuvantu,
lakshmi samAvisatu gachchatu vA yathEshTam,
Addyeiva vaa maranmastu yugaantare waa
NyAyayatpatha pravicalanti padam na dhIrah.

It is immaterial, whether experts in ethics and moral science blame or praise.
It is immaterial whether Goddess of Wealth arrives or leaves at her will.
It is immaterial whether Death approaches now or at the end of apocalypse.
Courageous persons do not deviate from the path of virtuousness.

నిందంతు నీతి నిపుణాం , యది వా స్తువంతు,
లక్ష్మీ సమావిశతు, గఛ్ఛతు, వా యథేష్టం,
అద్యైవ వా మరణమస్తు, యుగాంతరేవా,
న్యాయత్ పథా ప్రవిచలంతి న ధీరాః.

నీతి నిపుణులైన వాళ్ళు నిందించినా, లక్ష్మీదేవి తన ఇష్టం వచ్చినట్లు వచ్చినా పోయినా, మరణం ఈ రోజైనా, యుగాంతమందైనా, ధీరులైన వాళ్ళు న్యాయ మార్గం నుండి చలించరు.

निंदंतु नीति निपुणाम यदि वा स्तुवंतु
लक्ष्मी समाविशतु, गछ्चतु, वा यथेष्टं,
अद्यैव वा मरणमस्तु, युगांतरेवा,
न्यायात् पथा प्रिचलंति न धीराः।

नैतिकता के विश्षज्ञों को दोष आपाद करने दो। या प्रशंसा करने दो।
अपने इछ्छानुसार माता लक्ष्मी को आने दो, या जाने दो।
मौत अभी ही होने दो, या युगांत में होने दो,
