446 Capitalist Contests vs. Proletarian Contests

Hitherto we have known only Formula 1 Races of Race Cars, and some Race Motor bike races.  None of these have got anything to do with proletariat (Working Class).   Besides, these races were mainly intended for betting needs of bourgeoisie class of people.  They are like scars and warts on the Western Culture.

Now, it is in a way, partially good that they have started thinking of some contests for drivers of trucks.  But, unfortunately, they have started thinking of Race Trucks and Race Truck Races.

Mumbai: Tata Motors today announced, season two of the T1 PRIMA TRUCK RACING CHAMPIONSHIP. Inscribed on the calendars of FIA (Federation Internationale de l'Automobile) and FMSCI (the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India) the championship will be hosted at India’s globally renowned F1 race track, the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) in Greater Noida on March 15, 2015, giving Indian audiences a grand spectacle of Tata PRIMA trucks competing against each other.
The T1 PRIMA TRUCK RACING CHAMPIONSHIP 2015 will feature 12 Tata PRIMA trucks built for the purpose and will be driven by experienced international drivers representing six teams –
  1. Team Castrol Vecton
  2. Team Cummins
  3. Team Tata Technologies Motorsports
  4. Team Dealer Warriors
  5. Team Dealers Daredevils
  6. Team Allied Partners

Many drunken Indian drivers, even without these formal Truck Races, have a habit of racing their trucks, unasked.  If these bett-able formula truck races also go into their heads, we can see the trucks-made circuses and ruckuses on Indian Highways, endangering the lives of others.

It is not clear, what Tatas have in their minds.

There is a widespread probably misplaced belief among brain workers forming the petty bourgeoisie and bourgeoisie in Indian Society, that Marxism does not allow competition.  In a sense, there may not be competitions and contests to make quick and big bucks and some gambling opportunities.   But meaningful contests can be designed to encourage competition.


Tatas or other Indian Organisers can go for Fault-diagnosis and Truck-repair contests for truck drivers and Highwayside-truck-mechanics (two separate classes).    Common sense suggests that truck drivers should have adequate, if not ample, knowledge of the systems and sub-systems installed in their Trucks.  They must be able to identify faults causing problems which may trouble their trucks from time to time in their transportation ventures.   They must also be able to rectify minor defects and faults, so that they can continue their journey till they reach a good Highway-side Mechanic shop.

HIghway-side Mechanics also should get FORMAL SYSTEMATIC IN-DEPTH AS WELL AS REFRESHER TRAINING in identifying common problems of trucks and repairing them, with least damage and disruption to the other parts and sub-systems in the trucks.

At present most drivers and wayside-mechanics get their training from their seniors who themselves have not received any formal training.  In this type of working, there is always dependence on hunches (अंतर्ज्ञान)  rather than understanding of the principles of the functioning of the combustible engines or transfer of motive power from engine to axles and wheels, roles of gears and steering, processes of braking.

Though direct intensive training end-users (Not truck-owners, but drivers and cleaners) may be adding to the costs of the Truck Manufacturers and Distributors, it will be necessary to train drivers,  cleanrs and wayside mechanics on a large scale or else modern expensive transport giants will fall into hands of charlatans, novices and quacks.  How dangerous and risky will it be to place 32 tire trucks in the hands of not sufficiently informed crew?

Problem of manoeuvre-ing  युक्तिचाल through hundreds of  trucks and other vehicles parked in a zig zag manner like padma vyUham (Inpenetrable Lotus format array of army used in the Epic Mahabharata by Drona)

At present thousand of accidents are taking place on Indian Roads, when speeding drivers of trucks hit other trucks and vehicles parked on the wayside for repairs, food, sleep, bribing at checkposts, pay tolls, vvip-visit-traffic-blockages, etc., resulting in payment of millions of Rupees by Insurance Companies as claims on the insured trucks.  Actually, Insurance Companies can subscribe to  accident-free Truck-manoeuvre training programmes to drivers organised by Indian Truck makers and Distributors.   Great contests can be designed and organised to encourage drivers learn manoeuvring in congestive-traffic.

The problem is nobody is interested in conducting contests and trainings for proletariat.  Every Corporate wants to makes quick bucks by organising some sensational races and create gambling opportunities.
