792 (Part 1) Will the 21st Century Ashoka save the people of Residual Andhra Pradesh, from his own Associates?

Here is an allegation of Guntur Lok Sabha member Mr. Galla Jayadev trying to take away a prime house worth about Rs. 90 million for Rs. 39 million. Mr. Jayadev has denied it, stating that e participated in an auction conducted by Andhra Bank, and that he had emerged as the highest bidder while taking care to follow all norms. According to him the entire transaction was above board. He described Ms Padmaja’s accusation as baseless and politically motivated. For our readers who wish to read the relative report, here is a DeccanChronicle.Com link: Click here to read DeccanChronicle.Com dated 23.07.2016. . Sincere thanks to DC for reporting both sides of the story.

Story from the side of Ms. Guntupalli Padmaja, Complainant, and owner of the house taken on lease by Shri Jayadev, our beloved People's Representative to this country's Highest House of Legislature:

The House taken on rent by Shri Jayadev is located at Brindavan Gardens, Guntur. Ms. Padmaja in her interactions with Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu informed that she had taken Rs2.30 crores loan from Andhra Bank on her three storeyed house as security in 2013.

She added Galla Jayadev in 2014 elections had taken her house for rent and later continued to use the building as his residence-cum-office. She added she failed to pay EMIs due to her financial condition. She accused Jayadev of pressurising the bank to put the building for auction to recover its loan as the EMI were not paid. She further alleged that Mr Jayadev pressurised the bank officials to set the base auction price at a mere Rs 2.80 crore against the government value of Rs 7.50 crore. She said when she approached the Debt Recovery Tribunal seeking time to clear the loan, the DRT directed Andhra Bank to give time but the bank officials, on orders from Mr Jayadev, proceeded with the auction, facilitating the MP to buy the house for a mere Rs 3.09 crore. Galla Jayadev says he participated in the auction and emerged the highest bidder in due process.

This news item was reported by several websites. But, apparently, this news of the suffering house-owner approaching Mr. Nara Chandra Babu Naidu seeking (ethical) justice, seems to have been ignored by the top two Telugu newspapers and channels of Residual Andhra Pradesh. Even a Telugu Newspaper-and-TV Channel which claims to be "dammunna" (brave, courageous, and daring) seems to have ignored it.

Strangely enough, after few days a counter-allegation appeared in a Leading Telugu Newspaper, released by -said-to-be- reprsentatives of Spinning Mills.

Approximate English: M.P. Jayadev bought the house lawfully.
A flagpost by members of Spinning Mills Association.
Guntur, Sangadigunta. President Dharmateja of Spinning Mills Association, said that M.P., Shri Galla Jayadev purchased the house in which he is staying, lawfully in E-Auction. He, speaking in a Press Meet organised in the Association Office on Saturday, said that a sum of Rs. 3.09 crore was quoted when the house came for auction, and that the Bank entrusted the house to the highest quoting bidder Jayadev. Association Member, Shri Samineni Koteswara Rao, speaking: "Guntupalli Kotgeswara Rao was submerged in debts three years back itself. Including me, many industrialists, doctors, lost cheated in his hands, more than Rs. 20 crore (Rs. 200 million). He has indulged in cheating, by saying that Capital was going to come at Nuzividu, that he was buying lands, created fake agreements and documents."

Another member, Shri Narendra speaking: 'During (2014) election time, when I was approached with a request to convince (Mr. Jayadev) to take that house on rent, I along with another person, convinced Shri Jayadev to take the house on rent. When Sri Srinivasa Rao was asked why he was eager that the house is taken on hire by Shri Jayadev, he (Shri Srinivasa Rao) said that if he (Shri Jayadev) stays in his house, Banks will not press for repayment of loan. Also said that, Shri Jayadev may consider it as a sentiment, and buy the house for a big price. Also said that, in the past Shri Srinivasa Rao's wife filed a kidnap case, and as there was no evidence, police had dissuaded her and sent her back without registering a case. (Those who spoke at the Press Meet) advised that at least now, making allegations against MP should be stopped. They also said that, in fact, many persons have to register cheating cases against Shri Srinivasa Rao.

This type of affairs and incidents, we see not only in Guntur of Andhra Pradesh, not only in many cities of India, but also in Europe, North America, and ANZ.

The approximate 700 billion people on this Earth are accustomed to this type of intra-bourgeoisie skirmishes and squabbles. Behaviors of the land-lords, land-ladies, Banks both Private Sector and Public Sector, Media both Press and Electronic, Political Parties and People's Representatives, everything under this sky are governed, modified and shaped by bourgeoisie cultural and customary practices.

This particular affair-case-incident raises nearly 100 questions ethical-banking and financial - legal-political-social all of which we may not be able to discuss in one blog post. Some of these questions need deeper analyses and discussions, in the interest of this Nation.

People of Residual Andhra Pradesh, who have sold their votes for Rs. 1,500/- or liquor bottles or sarees have to wake up. They will not get this opportunity till 2019.

Today, similar opportunities are open for the voters of our so-called friend-philosopher-guide Nation, the United States of America.

785 Mindsets of bourgeoisie party leaders have to change, if they have to REALLY serve people

Leaders of almost all bourgeoisie parties, all over India, both at All India level, and State (Provincial/Regional) levels, have same or similar mindset. Whenever they undertake some welfare measures, they do them half-heartedly, because somebody else in some other State has done, or that they can garner some votes. Love for people should come naturally and spontaneously, just as a mother loves its baby or a cat loves its kitten. Mr. Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, on 25th June 2016, started at Velagapudi, a Canteen for poor people to serve tiffins, rice and chapaties (flat pan cakes) at low prices. So far so good. He is doing something which even left parties in Kerala, West Bengal and Tripura could not do during their rule. Welcome. We shall greatly appreciate. At the sametime, there is a tail piece in his conversation with the media, on the occasion.

Here is a quote from Prajasakthi Telugu Daily: Click here to go to Prajasakti.com, 26th June 2016.

"... భోజనానికి ఎన్టీఆర్‌ క్యాంటీన్‌ ఉంది కదా అని, మందు బాటిల్‌ తాగి ఇంట్లో పడుకుంటే సమస్యలు వస్తాయి. ..."

Approx. English: Problems will arise , taking it for granted that there is NTR Canteen, if people (take meal at NTR Canteen) , drink a bottleful of liquor, and lie down at home.

1. I have no malice to Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu. Nor am I, a supporter of Mr. Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy who is said to be in London now, playing golf. He may also be taking care of his stashed moneys in British Tax Havens like Island of Man, British Virgin Islands. Or he might have purchased some prime property in Central London, somewhere beside Vijay Mallya's Home, to get ready for future.

2. In the above quote, though Mr. Naidu might have said it as a joke, it reflects and reveals the mindsets of our bourgeoisie leaders, of all parties, of all Regions, of all Castes, of all Religions. They nourish and relish a prejudice that : once food is available cheap or free, poor people will spend their money on liquor, and sleep at their homes without going for work . This blind view is not correct. Proof: Today, meals are being sold at very high @ Rs. 70 to Rs. 90 in almost all the towns / cities of Residual Andhra Pradesh. Days will not be far off, when average ordinary meals will cost Rs. 100/-. Still, people are paying big monies to Wine shops, Bars, Belt shops (unlicensed liquor shops)- buying liquor bottles and filling the coffers of not only the liquor merchants, but also STATE GOVERNMENTS. If they have money left after that, they will buy chicken and mutton biriyanis; else they will buy some mixture or some noodles or whatever their money gets. If they have no money left with them, they will go home, and beat their mothers, wives, and children. Then they will sleep hungry. Often family members also weep, and sleep hungry.

Of course, Mr. Naidu, on the spot, gave a free advice to a woman: "tAgostE annam peTToddammA". That woman, out of courtesy, did not give a repartee or retaliate. Even if she were to express her resentment, the Police and the TDP leaders present there, would have dragged her out, and the free advice would have continued. The concerned MRO / MPDO / Govt. Employees / TDP Leaders whoever have taken her to the CM's presence would have been taken to task later on. In a way, that woman has saved embarassment to herself , the Officials, and the TDP Leaders.

3. Won't he have his own relatives, his own landed caste people, his own landed class people of other castes (landlords and industrialists) who drink full bottles of liquor, and lie down in their homes? When a rich man does a thing, it is viewed as "fashion" and regarded "respectable". When a poor man does the same-thing, it becomes "lazy" and "dishonourable". Bourgeoisie masters do not mind to fill their own pot bellies with pegs of liquor and lie down at home, or drive cars and hit dividers. At the same time, they expect their laborers to be sober teetotalers, slogging 24 x 7 x 365. Who gave the masters this right? Definitely not, the non-existing God. It is the Capitalist Society which sets different sets of values for different classes.

Mr. Naidu has promised several times in the past, and also included in TDP manifestoes, that they will introduce prohibition in stages. He scrapped the prohibition introduced by Late NTR earlier. But nothing has come out during his previous nine years rule, or his two years current rule.

Mr. Naidu will have an excuse now: "They divided the State and sent us out of Hyderabad, with just clothes on our body. We have no money. etc. etc.". They are all excuses. Where there is a will, there will be a way.

Whether Mr. Naidu implements the NTR Canteen scheme wholeheartedly or not, people are not going to abandon their liquor bottles, unless the State Government forces them to do so.

Let us hope, that realisation and wisdom will dawn in Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu. Let him not compare himself with Jagan on everything or on anything.

Deccan Chronicle dated 1st July 2016, Print Edition, Page 3, here is a quote: "...People in AP may face scarcity of water, but not liquor, what with the State Government deciding to double Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) production to bridge the gap between demand and supply. ..."

"... Excise Minister Kollu Ravindra sent the file to Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu for approval.

Hence, let all of us become "dEvadAsus". .
