869 (7 of total 10 series) Are masturbation and Self-love workable solutions to release human bondages from the needs of oxytocin, serotonin, and dopamine?

The Central idea of this blog post is, to examine how a person can free himself from the PULLS AND PUSHES of his partners, be they wives-husbands, lovers, partners in adultery, gay, lesbian, other LGBTs, which can lead to embarassing behaviors in social life. Family moralists, will please, for the time being, bear with my free musings. Trigger for this blogpost: 1. Repeat of Valmiki RamayaNa in the Mulayam Singh Yadav's (Former Chief Minister of U.P., and Former Defence Minister of India), Empire "Samajvadi Party", and the Chief Ministership of Uttar Pradesh. Modern Rama, i.e. Akhilesh Yadav s/o Shri Mulayam, has not accepted his father's decrees and dicta.

2. Death of Ms. Jayalalithaa, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu State, and the succession battle in Tamil Nadu between Panneer Selvam, the present TN Chief Minister and Sasikala, the companion of Late Jayalalithaa.

Our readers are aware of the common adage in History and Current Affairs as "History repeats itself". While some people vouchsafe this with much conviction, others may phew phew the concept of the History repeating itself.

If we are unable to accept the concept of history repeating itself, we can accept and say something like "Some events seem to be an integral part of human behaviors, such behaviors being passed from one generation to another generation of the culture of the place/region/country, and events indicating repetitive behaviors may be presenting themselves before us to caution us".

CONFLICTS between sons and sons-in-law of Shri N.T. Rama Rao, former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, and his second wife

In this conflict, Late Mr. N.T. Rama Rao was dethroned from the Chief Ministership of Andhra Pradesh, and his younger son-in-law Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, anointed himself as the Chief Minister, with the co-operation of the off-springs of NTR through his first wife.

Now, repetition of history:--According to news reports, the second wife of Shri Mulayam Singh Yadav, Mrs. Sadhana Gupta, wants their son Prateek to be anointed in place of the first wife's son Akhilesh Yadav. Shri Akhilesh Yadav revolted, and got himself elected as the National President of Samajvadi Party.

We may, better, first start with the link: Click to go to study the four-fold path at http://www.school-for-champions.com/religion/buddhism_four_noble_truths.htm

Four Noble Truths

The Four Noble Truths of Buddhism are stated in simple terms as:

Suffering exists
Suffering arises from attachment to desires
Suffering ceases when attachment to desire ceases
Freedom from suffering is possible by practicing the Eightfold Path

In Indian philosophy, suffering= popular word 'duhkha'. Attachment = 'sanga'. Cessation of suffering = 'mukti'. Eightfold Path = 'ashTa vidha mArga'. This ashTavidha mArga consists of the Buddhist tenets
Right view
Right intention
Right speech
Right action
Right livelihood
Right effort
Right mindfulness
Right concentration. Notes: The Buddhist eight-fold path is different from the Patanjali yOgA's ashTAnga yOgA path (Path of Eight Parts or in other words Eight sub-paths such as Asana, samAdhi.).

yb-a-donkey's observations which are not intended to be imposed on others

1. It is difficult to identify anybody, (Buddhists will be hurt if I dare to say that even Buddha has not succeeded. Hence, I dare not ), who has successfully followed this Eightfold path of either Buddha or the Paatanjali, to conquer misery (duhkha) or attachment (sanga).

TRAVAILS OF KING DASARATHA IN VALMIKI RAMAYANA

When we go to Valmiki Ramayana, Ayodhya Kanda (Book of Ayodhya, i.e. volume 2), we find that king daSaratha was stuck with a conflict between doing justice to his first wife by anointing his first wife's son, and the third wife who demands that the first wife's son should be sent to a 14 year exile into forests, and her own son (third wife's son) should be anointed in his place. He fell flat at the feet of his third wife, offering and promising to inflict punishments on innocents and release guilty persons or do whatever she commands, in lieu of her current demands.

TRAVAILS OF KING SANTANU IN VYASA MAHABHARATA

When we go to Vyasa Mahabharata, we come across King Santanu promising to his first wife River Ganga (in human incarnation) not to object to anything which she does, during their marital relationship, agreeing to the condition that the moment he objects, she may leave him. Eight children were born to them, and Ganga drops seven of them into River Ganga. Santanu just bore the suffering. Unable to bear the pangs, he objects when Ganga tries to drop the 8th baby into the River. Their relationship breaks, saving the life of the baby, who grows up as Prince gAngEya ( Bhishma).

TRAVAILS OF EMPEROR YAYATI IN VYASA MAHABHARATA

When we go to the story of Emperor yayAti in Vyasa Mahabharati, yayAti made promises to his wife dEvayAni and her father SukrAcArya. But later, he had secret affairs with rAkshasa king's daughter SarmishTha, and gets cursed by dEvayAni's father SukrAchArya. Here yayAti's suffering was due to his lust.

TRAVAILS OF PRINCE DHRUVA in VYASA MAHA BHAGAVATA

This is not the story of the 2016 Telugu film DHRUVA of Hero Rama Charan. Dhruva was a 5 year old Prince son of King uttAnapAda. His mother was Queen Suneeti, Uttanapada's first wife. King's second wife was Suruchi, and her son was Uttama. Once, when Dhruva was sitting on his father's lap at the King's throne, and his step mother Suruchi came, and forcibly removed Dhruva from his father's lap. The King was a slave of his second queen Suruchi. He was mum. Click to Dhruva at Wikipedia.

Suferings of PRINCE SARANGADHARA

The Queen citrAngi, King rAjarAja narEndra's Second wife, and step mother of Prince Sarangadhara, approaches Prince Sarangadhara with lust, and gets turned down, because he viewed it as incest. His step mother complains to the King with a fabricated story against Sarangadhara, and the King without proper enquiries ordered the chopping of the legs and hands of Sarangadhara. There are some local variations of this aga. This saga can be read at Wikipedia.org: Click here to go to Wikipedia, and read Prince Sarangadhara's story..

Nanda Kings, Mauryan Kings, have apparently suffered from problems arising out of polygamy, and sibling rivalries, and succession battles.

Slave dynasty, Khilji dynasty, Tughlak dynasty, Sayyad and Lodi dynasty sultans, Moghul Emperors too seem to have suffered from problems arising out of polygamy, and sibling rivalries, and succession battles.

IMPORTANCE OF OXYTOCIN, SEROTONIN, and DOPAMINE

Chemistry of hormones seems to substantially influence human behaviors, as far as the needs of affection, affiliation, emotional relaxation, stress-relief are concerned. Apart from the biological need of procreation, sexual urges also seem to serve as stress-relievers, through inter-hormonal reactions among oxytocin, serotonin, and dopamine. Here is an informative link to a Government of United States Health Webpage: Click to go to https://newsinhealth.nih.gov/2007/february/docs/01features_01.htm. Some lines from this page, relevant to our discusion:

"...Between loving partners, between parents and children, or even between close friends, physical affection can help the brain, the heart and other body systems you might never have imagined....".

"... In the past few years, scientists supported by NIH have begun to understand the chemistry and biology of love. ...

...At the center of how our bodies respond to love and affection is a hormone called oxytocin. Most of our oxytocin is made in the area of the brain called the hypothalamus. Some is released into our bloodstream, but much of its effect is thought to reside in the brain. ...

"...Oxytocin makes us feel good when we’re close to family and other loved ones, including pets. It does this by acting through what scientists call the dopamine reward system. Dopamine is a brain chemical that plays a crucial part in how we perceive pleasure. ..."

Ques: On what basis, do you consider that masturbation and self-love can become substitutable solutions, for real physical love-making?

Ans: As long as the partners in love have harmony, and they both together are in harmony with other members of the family/society, there may not be any problems. Else, problems will get compounded. Our readers can google, and study for themselves the problems of the historic figures mentioned in the above paragraphs.

Co-operation from partners (be they husband-wife, paramour-concubine, lovers in adultery, gays, lesbians, trans-sexuals, or simple asexuals) may not always be hassle-free. Most often, they come with strings, and substantial expenses, encumbrances, and both predictable and unpredictable dangerous consequences.

What I wish to highlight, though at this stage, with much hesitation:--

If the joys we derive from sexual intercourse-s and relationships, are just either sensory messages from our sense organs of Sabda (sound-ears), sparSa (touch-skin), rasa (taste-tongue), rUpa (vision-eyes), gandha (smell-nose), or through the release of chemicals and hormones in our body such as oxytocin, serotonin, dopamine, why should humans throughout their lives undergo all the processes of sexual relationships-- first wife, second wife, lovers, adultery, gay, lesbian, trans-sex (lgbt) etc.? Some masturbation and self-love with or without sex toys and dildos, will probably do, to satisfy the body's need of chemical processes and reactions. Self-love either physical or emotional can be risk-free or less-risky or risk-resistant.

Question: What this Self-love & Masturbation Theory, has got to do with your fetish of Total True Socialism?

Ans: I am not aware, or much sure of how Karl Marx, Angels, and Lenin examined the Institution of Marriage, from the point of Socialism. I believe, at this moment, I am amenable to future corrections, that Dissolution of the Institution of Marriage, Introduction of Child Care by the State, will substantially help in strengthening the True Total Socialism.

As is often being made out, if Capitalism is the Champion of Individualism, how does it promote Individualism? Probably because it encourages the idea that men and women are exclusive personal properties of their partners, whereas they are not. Of course, right now, even Socialism may not accept that the Institution of Marriage is a hindrance in the path of Individualism.

To continue. This is a thousand page subject. सशेष. ఇంకా ఉంది.
