#038 Reply to blogpost of Shri LK Advani

Pl. clearly announce in advance that you will support Telangana bill in Lok Sabha only if it is a part of an amicable friendly bifurcation arrangement between the two Regions. Your A.P. Unit is dominated by TelangANa leaders like Kishan Reddy, Dattatreya, Vidyasagar Rao et al, because Capital was in Hyderabad. You and Ms. Swaraj forgot that there were 50 million people living in 13 Districts of SImAndhra and might have considered them as persona non grata, beggars and tatterdemalions.

You have forgotten that from 1956 to 2013, thousands of crores of Central Govt. funds (belonging to 700 Districts and 28 States of India) and AP State Government funds (belonging to 23 Districts) were invested in Hyderabad. E.g. DRDL, DLRL, DMRL, BDL, HAL, HMT, Nuclear Fuel Complex, HCL, ECIL, Nuclear Fuel Complex, Hyderabad Central University, University of English & Foreign Languages, Hitec City, Fly Overs, Airports (to name a few).

You know that according to Indian Constitution, poor people can move from any place to any other place in India, in search of employment and small business. During the process, they can purchase a small house, a little agri-land (subject to some limits). This right neither BJP, Congress, Third Front, Indian Parliament, Supreme Court Full Bench cannot take away. It forms the very basis for formation of Indian Union and National Integration. If this right is disrupted, there will be alround revolt and Indian Union will split. We should take all precautions against this eventuality.

It is natural that people move to Capitals and big cities for livelihood. It was how Gujaratis, Parsis, Sindhis, settled in Mumbai earlier, and even now settle in Mumbai, even if there is Ahmedabad for Gujarat. Suppose, UPA wants to form a separate Mumbai State splitting Maharashtra, and hand it over to some X Party which is bent on driving Gujaratis, Parsis and Sindhis from Mumbai and keen on buying all their homes cheaply? Many Jains and MArvADis do their business in our City Guntur, using this Constitutional Right of living anywwhere. They apply for Govt. jobs. They buy properties. Do we people of SimAndhra object to them and want to drive them away and buy their properties cheaply?

Suddenly, one disgruntled leader Mr. K. Chandrasekhar Rao, his family, woke up because he did not get a Cabinet berth in Hyderabad and started instigating people of Telangana, abusing SImAndhra people, calling them thieves. Hooligans joined the T Movement. They went on threatening of "agni gunDam" every alternate day and declaring forced bands (बंद) and extorting funds from people. They vandalised statues of cultural leaders on Tank Bund. Tleaders incited Telangana youth to commit suicide. The propaganda included promising jobs, freedom pensions, increments, double promotions and what not. KCR&Co Kodandaram&Co worshipped Nizam, saying that Nizam ruled them benevolently. They would have even invited legal heirs of Nizam and recoronated them on TelangANa throne. If Nizam ruled them like a great "pitaji", why there was a need for Sardar Patel to initiate Police Action? You can see in English newspapers, some people saying that Police Action massacred Telangana people. For them Razakars were better than Indian Police/Army. Some even wanted to approach UNO, as an international issue.

True, that people of Telagana have a genuine sentimental longing for a separate State (though it may cause loss to them because Hyderabad will lose business from 13 Districts and revenue). They expressed their desire in 1969. Indira Gandhi and your party instead of working out an amicable separation, temporarily suppressed it and lulled it.

People of SImAndhra ran a Jai Andhra Movement in 1972, realising that they could not eke out life as Second Class Citizens in Hyderabad. Again, Indira Gandhi and your party, did the same trick of suppression and lulling.

If A.P. was amicably bifurcated in 1969 or in 1972, separate Capitals would have grown up in Hyderabad and Kurnool, like Bhopal and Raipur. Both Congress and your party slept on the amicable bifurcation part.

2000: An opportunity came for you to form TelangaNa, along with Chattisgadh etc. But, your party swept the issue under the carpet, because you wanted to please Chandra Babu Naidu and get his support in New Delhi. This is what is called opportunism. Had you tried to contact Am Admi of the 23 Districts of A.P. in 2000, they would have come forward for an amicable bifurcation.

2004: Suddenly, Sonia and Rajasekhar Reddy found that they could not capture Andhra Pradesh and India without support of KCR&Co. Sonia wore a pink kanDuva (cloth over shoulders) and pledged her support to TelangANa. Like Indira Gandhi encouraging Bhindranwale in Punjab, Sonia and YSR encouraged KCR&Co in Andhra Pradesh.

BJP TelangANa leaders started flirting and coquetting with KCR&Co leaving the popularisation of BJP in Andhra Pradesh. BJPT leaders too started abusing SImAndhra people and inciting people of TelangaNa thinking that they would get some RESPECTABLE seat sharing arrangement with TRS. TRS used BJP for its goals, and showed an empty hand to BJP.

Unable to bear the heat generated by hooligans who entered the genuine Telangana Movement, TCongress Leaders felt insecure and started behaving like possessed persons, and started disrupting Parliament.

Your aid in Parliament Ms. Sushma Swaraj started announcing everywhere that you would support Telangana Bill in Parliament and started prodding Congress in Delhi to take up separation.

You know that BJP slept on AP's amicable bifurcation between 1999 to 2004. Congress slept from 2004 to 2013. Suddenly both wake up and push one another for speeding up Telangana. Because both want support of KCR& Co., and Kodandaram&Co JAC. Neither is interested in the 50 million people of SImAndhra, who are just like beggars and tatterdemalions who should be pushed into Bay of Bengal.

One fine morning, according to some news reports, Ms. Sonia Gandhi after her treatment in USA, seemed to start believing that Mr. Rahul Gandhi needs to be made Prime Minister. Tleaders invite Rahul to contest from Telangana, guaranteeing victory. Mr. Digvijay Singh started praying TRS to merge with Congress. Now, a family agenda started. (Just like agendas of Narendra Modi, Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitley et al to displace you in BJP).

Congress adhiShThAnam thought that SImAndhra people can be lulled by giving some Minister posts in Union Cabinet, to thirsty MPs, so that they will bring the SImAndhra sheep to the guillotine for culling.

Telangana formation has been taken up on a war footing. Congress Working Committee passed a resolution to do it immediately, without even discussing it. Cabinet Note was prepared and put up to Cabinet, while Shinde said that it did not come to him, when Media asked him. They wanted to do it sneakily and surreptitiously. It became just a table item for the cabinet. With little discussion, the Cabinet cleared it, as simply as, and as if they were approving purchase of VIP aircrafts costing 10000 crore for foreign trips. They forget about 50 million people of SImAndhra, that they were human beings, law abiding and tax paying citizens, with problems.

Most hurting part in the Congress Working Committee and the Cabinet Note is, they want to please TRS and KCR 100%, throwing Simandhra people into garbage. BJP is ready to push the cart.

For one thing, SimAndhra People should be grateful to KCR&Co, and KodanDaRam&Co, TCongress leaders, TTDP leaders, and TBJP leaders. They do not hide their agenda , just like Narendra Modi&Co does not hide its agenda. Tleaders are very plain. They want to drive away SimAndhra people from Hyderabad, and buy all the housesites, homes, shops, complexes cheaply, just as the Muslims of Pakisthan had done in Karachi and Lahore, after driving away Hindus.

Hurt enormously, people of SImAndhra arose in one voice. People lost their jobs, occupations, and businesses in their movement to wake up the Central Government. People started prodding SIMAndhra MPs and Ministers to resign. Of course, the MPs, Ministers have their own agenda, like your BJP Parliamentary Board and Central Committee members who broke your lifetime dream of becoming PM.

Here, the real issue is not leaving Hyderabad. It is the question of self-respect of SImAndhra 50 million Am Admi. The resentment is against unjust division.

When YSRC and TDP gave their no-objection letters to Centre, they did not anticipate that people of SIMAndhra would revolt. They can't be unconditional no-objection letters. Actually YSRC, TDP and even BJP should have clearly laid out their pre-conditions for supporting the TBill, in their No-objection letters. At least AP BJP should have laid pre-conditions, but AP-BJP did not do it because its TelangaNa leaders wanted to please TRS and to lick leftovers of Telangana icecream.

About your Mahabubnagar Lok Sabha seat victory experience:-- I lived in Mahabubnagar District for four years and hence I am writing with first hand observation. The landlords of principal landed caste in Mahabubnagar District have a good command over the population of Mahabubnagar and Lok Sabha Constituencies. They did not relish a Muslim candidate being put up by TRS. They and TJAC seem to have secretly supported BJP, dumping TRS. BJP being a religious party, you got a windfall victory . Ms. Sushma Swaraj speaking at Mahabubnagar in 2013, sharing dias with TJAC leaders gave an unconditional promise to speed up TelangaNa. She forgot that there were 50 million people of SImAndhra whom she considered as persona non grata, beggars and tatterdemalions. She is under the impression that Mahabubnagar will repeat in 2014. Meaningless belief, because this time TRS may put up a dominating caste candidate. In 2014 elections, if there were to be a conflict between you and TRS, they will gain. Or Congress will win, if it succeeds in forced bifurcation of A.P. Leaders of Mahabubnagar Dt/telangaNa also seem to have invited Rahul Gandhi to contest from Mahabubnagar, promising a guaranteed victory.

Central BJP seems to believe that it has a strong base in Telangana and not in SImAndhra. It is a castle built on sand. For example, your party stalvart in Karimnagar brought film star Saundarya, to canvas for him in Karimnagar. Unfortunately, she lost her life in a helicopter accident. Did he win? Did he at least get reasonable number of votes? Would he have won, had she dropped down in Karimnagar and canvassed for him?

Your party needs to be strengthened both in Telangana and Simandhra. Religion card will not work in AP except in Hyderabad City, Mahabubnagar, and a few other places. Voters want liquor and cash, which AP BJP will not distribute openly. Only solution is, you have to do lot of hard work in convincing non-liquor-cash voters.

Forceful separation of AP and serving to the plans of TRS and Congress will not really help you. Best solution for you, now will be, to ask for introduction an amicable bifurcation TBill with the consent of AP Assembly and 85 million people. In other words-- separation with peace. If this cannot be worked out before 2014, if you come into power in 2014, you can facilitate negotiations between people of Telangana and Simandhra for an amicable bifurcation. If Congress wins in 2014, you can work for prevention of forced bifurcation.

You are like bhIshma pitAmaha. Pl. pardon me if I have hurt you, inadvertantly.

This comment has become too long. I reserve the right to revise it, if there are things which hurt anybody.
