Whatever our V.I.Ps and rulers say, they are all tokenisms and jumlas. The moment they leave the dais, they may forget what they say. The inviters to the speeches also forget what the speakers say, if they are futile brickbats or pieces of advice which will result in costs to the inviters. If our V.I.P.s and Rulers praise the Inviters, then the Inviters will, without the knowledge of the VIPs/Rulers, use the VIP accolades, for publicising their brands, or for getting some work done at an accelerated momentum in Govt. Departments for getting licences, Govt. Grants, Concessions, Lands, etc.

If they have to follow what the Administrators of a Province or a Country teach, they can only earn normal profits or no profits at all or, may have to become bankrupt.

కేవలం ఒక సభలో ప్రసంగించమనో లేక ఒక ప్రారంభోత్సవాన్ని చేయమనో ఆహ్వానించినంత మాత్రానే, అన్ని ప్రభుత్వ దత్త ఫలాలూ లభిస్తాయా అనే ప్రశ్న ఉదయించ వచ్చు. ఈప్రశ్న విలువైనదే. ఎందుకంటే, గతంలో గవర్నర్ కోటాలో ఎమ్ ఎల్ సీ గా నియమించ బడటానికి ఒక ఆంగ్లో ఇండియన్ అభ్యర్ధి, తెలంగాణా అధికార పార్టీకి రూ. ౫౦ లక్షలు దాకా చెల్లించి సఫలీకృతం అయ్యాయని వార్తలు వచ్చాయి,. దానిని గవర్నర్ గారు గానీ తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం గానీ పట్టించు కున్నట్లు కనపడదు.
WHAT solutions are available for common people who cannot bear the medical expenses of Specialists and Hospitals? वैद्य निपुणों और बडे वैद्य शालो के खर्चों को भरने के असमर्ध गरीब लोग, जिन को आरोग्यश्री नहीं मिल्ती है वे क्या करना ? నిపుణులకు, వైద్యశాలలకు బిల్లులు చెల్లించుకో లేని , ఆరోగ్యశ్రీ కి అర్హత లేని పౌరులకు శరణ్యం ఏమిటి.
Most of the things I write are based on hard-life, real-life experiences. Now let us see: A friend of mine, who in the eyes of the Government of India and the Government of Andhra Pradesh, is above the poverty line (APL) gets a monthly pension of about Rs. 18,000/-. This month he paid an annual medical insurance premium of about Rs. 18,000/- to his traditional Private Sector Insurance Company. My friend has great love for Private Sector., both Private Insurance Companies and the Private Hospitals.
He expressed his worry to me:
'How are we to pull on this month, having paid the entire month's pension towards insurance premium?'.
I (ybrao-a-donkey) too have a similar monthly income of about Rs. 18,000/-. But I have not paid any insurance premium, because I do not believe the private sector fellows. Hence, at least, for me there is no worry of how to carry on the month, by spending the whole thing as insurance premium !!! Though I am an atheist, occasionally, even atheists can exercise some lax concession of depending on "karma siddhAntam" and accept any bad thing as graceful thing, kind courtesy "karma" (For those who do not know one of several meanings of Karma: Accumulated wicked acts of past birth (sanchita karma) or this birth (AgAmi karma or prArabdha karma). Hence, I have resigned myself to my fate. I do not know whether I shall violate this decision or honor this decision when a real Test arises.
I do not have any medical insurance either for me, or my family members 90 years father, 60 years wife. My sons live separately, and they take care of themselves. I have given strict instructions to my wife and sons: "If I get seriously sick, don't admit me into any hospital or take me to any specialist, except as an outpatient for a limited period. Get some tablets. Nothing more than that. If I get cured with those limited number of tablets, it will be well and good. Else, if I die, just get rid of my body, handing it over to a Medical College for their Research. Don't incur even funeral expenses.". Else-if the Medical College Fellows refuse to accept my body, burn it with Kerosene. Never use Ghee (Clarified butter). Don't use Priests for my funeral. As a Computer Programmer, I love If Statements and For Loops immensely. They have come very handy.
MY LAST EXPERIENCE OF 2010/2011 WITH MODERN MEDICINE
Last time I visited an modern medical doctor / hospital was in 2010/2011. As my mother was reportedly suffering from Dengue, as I was not available (out of station at that time), neighbors admitted her in a Hospital of Modern Medicine. That hospital session lasted more than 15 days. During the same period my father had a bout of fever. I took him to the same hospital, and its Doctor diagnosed him for Chikun Gunya. After purchasing some blood packets, blood platelet packets, paying large hospital bills, my mother and father have come out of the hospital SAFELY. I can't say whether they got their cure really from modern medicine or their own inherent self-curative powers of the body. It is very difficult to establish a Cause and Effect Relationships between various variables.
The treating physician whenever I went to his Chamber to pay some of his bills, used to tell something about himself. I became his agony aunt. Essence of that was: For his son who is also a doctor, two offers came. One bride was a Software Engineer. She was earning around 100,000 bucks per month. They offered a dowry of Rs. 15 crore (Rs. 150 million). The second bride was M.D., a Medical Doctor. They offered a dowry of Rs. 4 crore only (Rs. 40 million). He chose the Medical bride, although he incurred a loss of Rs. 11 crore. He had to recover all his losses, somehow.
I was very much disgusted with this conversation. I was at least glad on one count. It might not have been an empty boast. He might have been telling truth, (in court language TRUTH ONLY, NOTHING ELSE). I wanted to get rid of that hospital and that doctor, by bringing out my parents from the hospital rooms which were nothing but dark unventilated dungeons. Then, my parents and their neighbors had great faith in that particular doctor and they were not in favor of changing. Finally, my parents came out of the hospital alive, saved by the doctor or saved by the non-existing God (For all of them God existed to save them. For me only, as an atheist, there was no God.).
For another 15 days after coming out of the hospital saying that he was cured, my father continued to suffer from Chikun Guniya. I got him treated as out-patient from the same Hospital. Nursing etc., I was doing at home. I was also studying the prescriptions and the literature on the tablets.
Finally, my father went to his home. Then I myself got affected by Chikun Guniya. I indulged in some self-diagnosis because my father's symptoms and my symptoms were same. The infection caught by me, either might have been hospital-generated infection, or an infection generated at my home when I was nursing my father.
Everybody advised me to go and consult an M.D. or join a hospital, not necessarily to the same fellow who treated my parents.
I persisted with a firm "no". At that time, I was purchasing a Telugu Daily by name vArta, to which I used to contribute some socio-economic articles. At that time, I came across a Medical column by one Shri Dr. Patibandla Dakshina Murthy. It was about Chikun Guniya Management. Based on a suggestion in it, I used only one tablet per day of Paracetamol for about ten days. Finally the fever got cured. Again I could not establish any cause and effect relationship between the Paracetamol and the cure. My wife thought that I got cured because of her prayers and worships to Gods. Thereafter, out of my personal interest, I studied some Pathology, Patho-physiology, Pharmacology, Diagnostic Methods etc. and to strengthen my work-out I prepared some Multiple Choice Questions. Since 2011 I did not have any fevers or major colds or other ailments, except loss of some masticating teeth, may be due to poor oral hygiene or may be due to aging. I am about 65. As I didn't want to have artificial dentures, I am depending on beaten rice, milk, some veg. protein-ous tiffins for my sustenance. It is nearly 13 years, after I last visited an allopathic doctor for my personal medical needs.
A lot to write here, I shall try to write in parts. For this particular blog post, I shall add Hindi and Telugu versions, whenever I get some spare time. Reason: Numerous topics are pressing me to pay my attention to them.
