506 Part 3 of "Anywhere a brother-in-law, but not a brother-in-law in brinjal garden"

Our blind belief is that: persons in the same family are close relatives; people of one caste/sub-caste are relatives; people of one religion are relatives; people of one region or sub-region are brothers; people speaking one language are kith and kin; people working in the same organisation are siblings; our favorite heroes are our elder brothers.

All are lies. If not lies, they are illusions. If not illusions, they are obsessions. If not obsessions, they are hallucinations. If not hallucinations, then they are castles in the air. Nothing really bonds and unites persons. There are no araldites and fevicols to glue people together.

For example let us take the Telugu speakers in North America. They have Associations like Telugu Association of North America (TANA), North America Telugu Association (NATS). From Telugu land, went the great pahilvans Nara Lokesh and K.T.R., to show their art of boxing and wrestling. But in NATS, another match is going on.

One of the founder members of the NATS and its former Treasurer, Shri Chundu Viraiah, is reported to have approached the Pasadena, California District Court, alleging diversion of funds, and violation of American laws.

The other side, consisting of many of the present Directors, viz. Korrapati Madhu, Mukkamala Appa Rao, Madala Ravindra, Chakradhar S. Oleti have, of course, denied the allegations; that no unilateral or unauthorised decisions were taken; that every thing has been done with the consent of the Board. They explained that Mr. Veeraiah is indulging in this type of propaganda, only because his word did not prevail, with regard to the celebrations being made in Los Angeles. As the matter is sub-judice, they wanted to exercise restraint, till the court's verdict, and then disclose.

What had actually happened between the two sides of the NATS, nobody knows. We have to wait and see how the American courts will decide.

Some money laundering and tax evasion also seems to have taken place. Or Mr. Veeraiah may be making fictitious allegations. We have to decide, till the court decides.

The question is, why didn't their caste unite them (most of them, belong to the same landed caste of Coastal A.P.)? Why didn't their Telugu language unite them? Of course, they may not be very particular about their relgion.

Once I had a conversation with a friend who just returned from US. I have enquired from him, how many Telugu homes he visited? What were his experiences?

His reply shocked me. All these sambarAlu are farces (external showings). Reality is diffrent. Well-settled Telugu people in USA, will not allow newly arriving Telugu persons to come near them, because they are afraid, that the new person may request to borrow their car, may request for some hand-loan, or some other favor.

Same things happen in most urban areas of India, Telangana State, Residual Andhra Pradesh. It happens even in Guntur and Vijayavada. Middle Class neighbors, or Upper class neighbors living in adjacent houses do not speak to one another because of this hidden fear of asking for money or car or something else. This may happen even if both the people belong to same caste. But coming to marriages, even if neighbors belong to castes fighting with one another, offsprings are permitted to love and marry, as long as there is going to be substantial exchange of wealth. There, caste will not matter much.

Question: You have made a caustic observation that persons working in the same organisation are not brothers. Justify your words!

Reply: Behaviors of brotherhood change from place to place, time to time, situation to situation, divergence of the goals of the individuals and groups involved. You can see some examples:

Didn't Telangana lawyers and Residual AP lawyers didn't fight, though they are Telugu people and belong to the same fraternity of legal profession?

Are the Telangana NGOs and RAP NGOs not fighting, though both are NGOs?

Are the Telangana film artists and Andhra film artists not fighting?

You take the recent RTC strike: Permanent employees of RTC and contract employees of RTC, are they not fighting? Permanent drivers of RTC, private bus drivers of hired buses, are they not fighting?

Every behavior of individuals is moulded by his needs. They question to themselves: How much I am going to benefit, if this is given, and how much I am going to lose, if this is given.

Question: Then, what is the solution?

Answer: Karl Marx clearly said that all human relationships are financial - monetary - pecuniary relationships.

If financial - monetary - pecuniary relationships are to be replaced with truly human relations, we have demolish the Capitalist Society which gives a crowning place to "money" and tromps on money-less human beings, are plunging into the nadir, depriving all their dignity, and robbing all the fruits of their labor.

Question: You are asking for impossible things!

Ans: I am not asking. If Modi says that he was once a chaiwalah in his life, or if Ms. Smriti Irani says that she washed plates in a Mumbai restaurant, they do not believe that they are chaiwallahs or dishwashers now. They think that they are Prime Minister and HRD Minister respectively. Only fools convince themselves that Chaiwalahs and dishwashers can become Prime Ministers and HRD Ministers.

The harsh reality is, whether it is David Cameron or Barack Obama or Narendra Modi, whatever be their origins, they have to play to the tunes of their fund-raiser donors and industrialists. Without donors and industrialists, PMs and Presidents cannot survive. Consequently, PMs and Presidents do not relishing the idea of demolishing a monetary economy. Consequently, classes thrive.

So, you mean to say that all Telugu people are not one?

KCR can be asked this question: Why he is taking revenge on a great freedom-fighter like Potti Sriramulu. Why does he want to obliterate Sriramulu's name from Telugu University? Can't Telangana Government start a larger institution and name it "Suravaram Pratapa Reddy"? KCR himself says that Telangana Government is rich, and that there is going to be great development ahead, that many institutions will be started. Then can't he start a new institution, preferably near Pragatur (native village of Late Suravaram Pratapa Reddy) on the banks of Krishna River and name it on Late Suravaram?

Probably, he wants to name all the new institutions in his own name, his son's name, daughter's name, nephew's name, like the Nehru dynasty!

Then what truly fastens people?
