3. Today (23rd Feb. 2020) Mr. Donald Trump, the reigning President, visited India, and has been received by the Hon. PMOI Shri Narendra Modi with great fanfare. Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and the Gujarat Government are reported to have spent about Rs. one billion, on the arrangements for hosting Mr. Trump at Ahmedabad, and for beautifying and refurbishing his Motorcade Path from Ahmedabad Airport to the Motera Stadium where he has addressed a Huge gathering. It has also been reported that a wall has been built to mask the slums from Mr. Trump's view, on the road from Ahmedabad to Gandhinagar.


4. Many critics view that Mr. Trump's visit to India at this juncture is intended to gather votes from NRIs and PIOs, in the ensuing American Presidential Elections 2020, through a Public Relations Exercise.


5. I wish that, irrespective of whether Mr. Bernie Sanders wins Democratic Party's Nomination, and /or ultimately the Presidential Contest, Mr. Bernie Sanders should visit India to spread the message of Socialism. I wish that the two major Communist Parties of India i.e. CPI and CPIM should invite Mr. Bernie Sanders to India, and talk to Indian Audiences about Socialism, making it clear to him that Communist Parties in India do not have enough moneys to accord him a welcome on par with the Reception extended to Mr. Trump. Funds of State and Central Governments were spent for hosting Mr. Trump. Except Kerala Government, Communist Parties are not in power in any other State. And Kerala Government has an ethical obligation to spend Public Moneys on receiptions. Hence, Mr. Bernie Sanders should not expect big Receiptions in India, but he can be assured of friendliness and warmth.


6. Even if he is elected as Prez to replace Mr. Trump, Mr. Bernie Sanders cannot really initiate radical reforms. In ybrao-a-donkey's personal view, for initiating radical reforms to establish Socialism / Marxism / Communism, needs at least two Communist /Socialist Parties. That is both the Ruling Party and the main Opposition party should be Socialists, and they should have a common goal of installing Socialism. Having two dominant Communist / Socialist Parties will be a distant dream both in USA and India.

If there is only a single Communist /Socialist Party which is elected to Power, and the Opposition consists of the Capitalists or their supporters , then the Ruling Party cannot initiate drastic reforms such as Removal of Private Property. Such an attempt can only lead to a Civil War in the country.

Title: "Dissent isn't anti-national". Venue: Indian Law Institute. Date 24.02.2020 . Context: A function organised by Supreme Court Bar Association, New Delhi. While what he spoke at this Inaugural Function sounded so sweet to my ears like Ghantasala's or KLSaigal's song, my mind lingers around a doubt: 'Did he really intend those sweet things?', or was he singing "E rOTi daggara A rOTi pATa" (Telugu proverb: Singing that song which is required at that particular Grinding Stone).


18. Anecdote for this Telugu proverb: In good old days when there were no rice and flour mills, people used to pound paddy and grains, using pestles in a grinding stone called 'rOlu'. At each grinding stone, pounding the paddy/grains with pestles, there used to be three or four men/women/both, singing folk songs, to reduce their monotony and tiredness. During festival season, simultaneous pounding may be going in different houses, on different grinding stones, with different rOlu songs. A person going to friends'/relatives' homes , if he finds some pounding going on, may join the rOlu songs and take up the refrains/choruses. A person visiting friends' and relatives' homes will also become a versatile genius in singing rOlu songs. WHEN WILL THE POLICE BRUTALITIES ON AMARAVATI WOMEN WILL STOP? CAN'T INDIAN MPs BEHAVE IN A MORE CIVILISED MANNER?:

1. Ever since Mr. Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy , the Chief Minister of Residual Andhra Pradesh State , mooted the idea of three Capitals for the Residual Andhra Pradesh State, the farmers and women of the Amaravati Capital Region's 29 villages are forced to follow a peaceful agitational path, having formed a JAC (Joint Action Committee).
2. Some YSRC Party leaders call the agitating Farmers and Women as 'Paid Artists'. There is little truth in that. But, some of the State's Police Officials also seem to believe it. Consequently, Police using large number of Constables, HCs, ASIs, and SIs DISPROPORTIONATELY LARGER WHEN COMPARED TO THE number of farmers and women participating in the agitation, has become noticeable. While the Police beat farmers and women with Lathis mercilessly, the YSRC Party Leaders and their followers seem to be instigating the Police.


3. In January 2020, National Commission Team for Women visited Vijayawada, and one or two spots in Amarvati, without listening to the agitating women on the Actual Spot, made some notes into their scrap pads and went away. What corrective action they have initiated nobody knows.


4. The High Court of the Residual Andhra Pradesh State was also approached by the agitators for Relief. The High Court also took up the issue su moto, and issued some interim directions to the Police. 821 Mr. Donald Trump ought to have taken the assistance of Mr. KCR for his Campaigning and Debating

I am unable to determine whether to write in a lighter vein or in a serious tone about this. I write in a way as it comes, whether it is really worth it, or not worth it. At the end of the high-falutin and bloviating campaign talks of Mr. Donald Trump and Ms. Hillary Clinton, and the three high voltage TV debates between them which indicate that Ms. Clinton has won (at least in lashing the tongue), suddenly a feeling crept in me that Mr. Trump has not obtained the right type of assistance to secure a victory in the billion dollar each campaigns.

The fierce fight for Presidency, between two Multi Billionnaires is nothing new in United States. The Presidential canddidates are only proxies, for the business empires who were pumping them with Campaign Funds, with a view to collect their investments back later. We must also not forget that some Business Empires may be backing both the candidates covertly, so that they can reap a win-win sitution.

Question: Do you mean to say that American voters are fools, or will be fooled?

Ans: Voter foolishness, in a clearer perspective, is to be taken as global foolishness. We cannot have a narrow view that it is American Foolishness. The American voters, were fooled in the past, are being fooled, and will be fooled in future also. Just as in OOP (Object Oriented Programming) in Information Technology there are inheritances of objects, in the Technologies of Democracies are there are inheritances, Voter Foolishness is one among them.

Question: You seem to be biased against American Democracy?

Ans: My bias is not against American Democracy. My bias is against the monster of Capitalism. Otherwise how will you explain this situation? There are news reports that, in his last American Presidential Campaign, Mr. Barrack Obama has spent US$ 1 billion, which is not by an means a mean amount. There were jubilations that a "Blackman" was for the first time elected as American President. American Blacks were supposed to be poor. It must have been a dream for an ordinary American Black to mobilise a Billion bucks for spending in elections. Then, was Obama an extra-ordinary American Black, that American Business Empires condescended to pour in a billion greenbacks for Election Campaigns? Now, that gush and verve of electing a Black President is gone, this time there is going to be a euphoria of electing a first American Woman President. In this euphoria, reasoning will be lost.

What Reasoning?

Whether first American Black President, or the first American Woman President, or some other President, as long as they continue to be proxy and puppet Presidents in the hands of business empires, there is not going to be much change in the trials and tribulations of the American Havenots and American Unemployed/under-employed.

There is not much difference between Donald Trump and Ms. Hillar Clinton. Ms. Clinton looks more polished, and talks in a more refined manner. Whatever be his utterances on stage in his last talk during third Debate on TV, Mr. Trump has not only grossly mismanaged his campaigns, but also, in the process, spoiled the opportunities of his other Republican Rivals.

SOMETHING IN LIGHTER VEIN

There are news reports that the Telugu film Hero Akhil s/o Nagarjuna will be participating in Donald Trump's fund raising campaigns. Mr. Akhil may be in Cloud 9s for getting the unique opportunity, which no other Telugu Hero seems to have got. It is not clear, how much he is being paid for his appearance, but definitely it may not be FREE, even if free flight tickets both sides, free accommodation etc. are given. We shall have a 'no comment' about this.

Mr. Trump's principal hope for success appears to rest on the 'dissatisfaction' of the American White Unemployed and UnderEmpoloyed Persons whose jobs have been knocked away/ ARE BEING KNOCKED AWAY (as per their perceptions) by Chinese, Indians, Mexicans, and other coloreds. But, I believe that Trump might have failed to build a solid voter support base from this most important segment of American Democracy. It is not my intent to say that Mr. Trump is a novice or that he is naive. He ought to have taken the assistance of stalvarts in this field of proven expertise, the Emperor among whom is Mr. Kaluvakunta Chandrasekhara Rao, popularly called KCR, and KCR & Co. inclusive of his kith and kin KTR, Harish Rao, Ms. Kavita etc. He is at present the Chief Minister of Telangana State in India, which has a population of about 40 million.

People of Telangana have nursed a grievance that, emigrants from the Coastal Districts of Andhra Pradesh were knocking away their jobs. Mr. KCR who might have been a shepherd in Karimnagar (as per the comments of his enemy politicians) was encouraged by Late N.T. Rama Rao, and Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu, by making him an M.L.A., and a Minister. Subsequently, there were dissensions between KCR and Mr. Naidu, the then Chief Minister of the erstwhile United Andhra Pradesh State , presumably over the sharing of spoils of corruption and pelf.

Mr. Naidu did not, in his Cabinet, give a place to KCR. That infuriated KCR. He ignited the dormant Telangana dis-satisfaction of the people of Telangana, that Coastal Andhra Emigrants were knocking away their jobs, and stealing River Waters. In the process of running his movement, KCR specialised in his art of enflaming the hurt sentiments of Telangana People, and perfecting the art of throwing invectives and pouring profanities on the Emigrants from Coastal Andhra. Last time we wrote about Mr. Nick Cohen in our blog was on 24th May 2015, in our blog post No. 510. Click here to have a look at post No. 510 at this blog . At that time, we were discussing about the Indian oligarchs eager to buy posh and prime properties in London. This time, here is a need to compare American Socialist Bernie Sanders, British Labor Leader Jeremy Corbyn, and the European past of Communism of the days of Stalin and Trotsky. Mr. Cohen did it quite effectively and impressively in his article titled "LEFT HAS A HISTORY OF FOOLISHNESS" in Spectator, dated 30th July 2016. I have given below the link to this Spectator's article, for our readers to study. I am not going to rediscover or reinvent what Mr. Cohen has done so convincingly and penetratingly.

Being the largest democracy in the world, howsoever badly the so-called democracy survives in India, being one of the citizens of the poorest country in this world (this truth most Indians do not admit), I am tempted to fantasize about the future of Left in India, and explain how relevant one quote of Mr. Cohen in his article is, for our experience with the Left Parties in India. In management science lingo, this can probably called SOCIALISATION. If a newly admitted an employee / Manager in an organisation refuses to get SOCIALISED and undergo the METAMORPHOSIS, there will be EXTERMINATION and OSTRACIZATION.

Now, let us see the predicament of Mr. Sanders. He gave repeated messages to his supporters that Ms. Clinton is a puppet of Wall Street. By and large, it is true also. At the same time, Mr. Sanders ought to have kept in mind that Mr. Trump is also a puppet of the same Wall Street.

Is Mr. Trump a larger puppet, and Ms. Clinton a smaller puppet?

Are there any differences in magnitude and direction between the two? Answer for this can be : Appearances can, sometimes, be deceptive. Ms. Clinton may appear as polished and refined. Mr. Trump may appear as roguish and rubbish. But is there real difference between them? Is that difference so large, so wide, so deep, that Mr. Sanders has to give a call to his supporters to support Ms. Clinton, knowing pretty well that she is a puppet of Wall Street? This shift also gives us another grammatical example of degrees of comparison: Mr. Sanders is a big puppet, Ms. Clinton is a bigger pupper, and Mr. Trump is the biggest puppet!

COMPARISON OF ABOVE SANDERS BEHAVIOR , WITH THE INDIAN LEFTIST BEHAVIORS

The main Communist parties in India are 1. CPI (Communist Parties of India). 2. CPIM (Communist Party of India-Marxist), also called CPM. Both these parties are facing identify crises, notwithstanding their win in 2016 Kerala Assembly Elections, (Kerala=Southwest State of India on the coast of Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean).

Just as Sanders was compelled by his Democratic Party peers (or probably on his own volition) to ask his supporters to TRANSFER their support to Ms. Clinton, with an ostensible objective of preventing Trump entering the White House, Indian Communist Parties have an ostensible objective of preventing Communal Forces (in their view BJP Party)from capturing power in India.

Left parties in India, particularly CPM maintained that it wanted to stay at an equi-distance both from Congress and BJP. That stand was logically correct, because BJP has earned a bad name for enflaming majority communalism, whereas Congress Party tacitly pampered minority communalism. Indian Left Parties if they are truly committed to complete socialism, cannot enter into electoral alliances with bourgeoisie parties. In 2016 Bengal Elections, CPM tried to gather some votes by entering to electoral adjustments with Congress. While Congress benefited from it, CPM paid the price for it.

WHAT IS THE LESSON FROM ALL THIS WHETHER IN INDIA, UK OR USA?

Supporters and Voters are not puppets. Leftist Parties and Truly Socialist Parties have to realise this. The difference between the supporters of bourgeoisie parties and the socialist parties is: Supporters of Socialism become socialists because they have analytical abilities, because they have strong convictions, because they have had in their lives bitter experiences inflicted by Capitalism. Their shift in favour of True Socialism becomes rather indelible and nearly unalterable . Hence, they are not TRANSFERABLE like cheques and drafts, by endorsement and delivery.

WHAT MAY BE THE RIGHT OPTION FOR MR. SANDERS, AND THE TRUE SOCIALISTS IN US?

They have to start a NEW SOCIALIST PARTY in United States, build a truly socialist movement, and get ready for 2020. This is going to be difficult. But where is the choice? Mr. Sanders, or True Socialists, cannot hijack Democratic Party or Republican Party!

WHAT OPTIONS WE CAN THINK OF FOR SUPPORTERS OF TRUE SOCIALISM IN BRITISH LABOR PARTY?

In my mother tongue Telugu language there is a word 'nEti bIrakAya'. It refers to the vegetable a gourd, akin to rugged gourd (Telugu bIra kAya) family. nEti bIrakAya refers to a gourd with CLARIFIED BUTTER. Though nEti bIra kAya is a rare and tasty vegetable, gullible persons may believe that it also contains CLARIFIED BUTTER. British Labor Party, does not contain LABOR. Chinese Communist Party does not contain COMMUNISM.

679 How can there be a Socialist who wants to scrap ban on marijuana?

Loss of Mr. Bernie Sanders to Ms. Hillary Clinton, in South Carolina, for the Democratic Candidature, by very large margin, need not cause much worry to the sympathizers of Socialism around the world, nor his Victory should generate unbound enthusiasm. Reason: American and European Socialist Pretentions need not be taken seriously, though the very concept of Socialism was born in Europe. The nature of American and European Working Class is tampered (not tempered) by the comforts and luxuries they get in Europe and America by enjoying, howsoever little they may be, the shares in the Exploits of Euro-American Capitalism. They do not mind Euro-American Capitalists creating bonded laborers in China, India, and above all Africa. When the Americans shout "We want American jobs to be brought back from China, South East Asia, and South Asia they mean that only non-sweat cushy, sweety, jobs are to be brought back, and not the hazardous and sweaty jobs.

While I am unable to trace any speech of Mr. Bernie Sanders which promises that he is going to bring back to U.S., all the U.S. jobs which were ported earlier to South East Asia, such promises quite common by Donald Trump seem to get enormous support from Americans of all "hues".

What type of Socialism a Presidential Candidate can promote in U.S.A., by legalising marijuana? He will be promoting only the businesses of Drug maphia, knowingly or unknowingly. If there corruption or irregularities in the administration of ban on narcotic drugs, a True Socialist should try to plug the loopholes, and try to enforce it with great sincerity and vigor. Every piece of convertible wealth might have ALREADY been shifted BY WALL STREET SHARKS to China or Japan or South Korea or elsewhere in the ostensible guise of "investing abroad". There is no proper check on the activities of Wall Street Banks when they gamble on the International Financial Arena. The so called Primary, Secondary, Derivative Global Markets in which the American Banks (why pick up only American Banks, most global Banks inclusive of those from UK, France, Belgium, Luxem., Singapore, HOngkong, Shanghai, Makau. They are all nothing but glorified Cassinos, interchanging their roles with the Cassinos of Las Vegas. In the process, the Wall Street Sharks not only ruin Americna Economy, but also smash the economies of not so prosperous , but more foolish Developing Countries. It is my sanguine thinking that Mr. Bernie Sanders will develop a global true Socialist Thinking. If he confines himself to his American National boundaries, probably he may end up either with one term of four years, or may have a barren, disappointing tenure, a la his likely predecessor Mr. Barack Obama.

Of course, American Banks are role models to Indian Banks to emulate. May be true, or may not be true, Indian Banks may be as empty as the American Banks.

There is also a Telugu idiom: "ajAgaLa sthanam". Ajam means a goat. gaLam is throat. We can find a sort of beard at the neck of a goat. Children think that they goat's breasts. But those flimsy breasts do not yield milk. Children will have to get disheartened, if they come to know of the truth.

I do not wish to say that Mr. Bernie Sanders is childish or child-like, when he thinks of breaking Wall Street Banks. He may, already, even know that the American Banks were already broke. ON the other hand, if Mr. Sanders gets elected, American Banks and Wall Street Banks will bring irresistible pressure on White House and the Federal Reserve Bank, to provide them sustenance. Mr. Sanders in addition, immediately after entering White House will have to find out a solution for the Upper Limit on the American Government to borrow from within the country, and from outside the country. U.S., already is the World's largest debtor, and probably the World's largest buyer of everything produced in this world, whether such imported goods are really necessary for U.S. or not.

Mr. Bernie Sanders may have to realise there is great difference between managing the Finance of a City or County Council in Vermont, and the gigantic monstrous Economy like U.S. It is not my intent to dis-spirit/ discourage Mr. Sanders. I am a great fan and well-wisher of him, because he seems to be the first American Presidential Hopeful, to sound something at least 10% Socialist.

In my mother tongue, Telugu language, there is a proverb "sagam peTTi mEnatta anTE ela?". Its approx. English gist is based on a small anecdote: Once a nephew and a paternal aunt (father's sister) had a love affair, with a sexual intercourse. In most Regional sub-cultures of India, sex with paternal aunt is a moral taboo, and a sort of incest, though may not be absolute legal incest. This nephew, after half-penetration, suddenly got a moral dilemma and said "You are my mEnatta (paternal aunt). How can I do this to you?". He wanted to withdraw. This proverb, though somewhat obscene and un-parliamentary, has an important message, "Either we should have things in full, or not have them at all'.

What Late Jawaharlal Nehru, the First Prime Minister of India, and Late Indira Gandhi, the Second Prime Minister of India with Socialist Pretentions, did to India was the same thing. Though Late Jawaharlal Nehru pronounced that PUblic Sector in India will reach Commanding Heights, he did not do enough to introduce True Socialism in India. Either it may be his half-heartedness, or it may be teething problems which nascent independent India faced, or headaches like Jammu Kashmir, Goa, Pondicherry, or it may be non-cooperation from his Finance Ministers such as Morarji Desai, and T.T. Krishnamachary. Late Chakravartula Rajagopalachary (Rajaji) too might have resisted it.

As far as I can recollect, it was Mrs. Indira Gandhi, who got the word "Socialist" inserted into the Indian Preamble of the INdian Constitution. Though she has taken some courageous steps like Nationalisation of Banks, Insurance Companies and Nationalisation of Petroleum Companies, she did not go beyond populism. Total Removal of Private Property, Abolition of Stock Exchanges, Abolition of Currency System, Abolition of Private Trade and Industry, also ought to have been tried. It may be too much for us to expect that she would abolish Family System to emancipate Women from Family work, Abolition of Family System. She herself visited Babas to get blessings.

Whatever half-half things were done with various motives, gradually, P.V. Narasimha Rao and Mr. Manmohan Singh tried to UNDO, and take credit for it.

For this reason only, the above reference to the Telugu Proverb "sagam peTTi mEnatta" has become apt. Now, Readers will see! Mr. Bernie Sanders (Democratic Contender for the American Presidency), Mr. Jeremy Corbyn (England's Labor Party Leader), Mr. Alexis Tsipras (Prime Minister of Greece), all fall in this "sagam peTTi mEnatta" category.

Mr. Barack Obama eight years back raised GREAT EXPECTATIONS worldwide. What happened? Now, eight years elapsed. The US is at the same place, where it was eight years back.

The US will be at the same place in 2020, where it is in 2016, whether Mr. Bernie Sanders will win the Election or not. Even if Donald Trump wins the Elections, still US will be at the same place. Reason: They are just two cogs in a big machine. If they try too hard, they will be caught in some pinion wheel. Though they may not be assassinated physically, they will be made mentally imbecile. Besides, most Americans at least, as on date, do not appear to believe in the efficacy of True Socialism as a cure for all the viruses of Capitalism. Yet, they may elect Mr. Bernie Sanders, with a "small-boundary-limit" that he will not exceed their brief and will not go too far. They too want "sagam peTTi mEnatta".

The news item is of very serious nature. New York Post, a tabloid published from U.S., revealed quoting from a forthcoming book "Clinton Cash", that Ms. Hillary Clinton's Clinton Foundation received $1 million to $5 million from Amar Singh.

At that time, Ms. Clinton was a Senator, and was a co-chair of Senate India caucus. Ms. Clinton supported passing in Senate, of the Indo-US Civil Nuclear Deal. It was already passed in US Congress with overwhelming majority.


Of course, Clinton Foundation and Ms. Clinton's Campaign (Election campaign for US Presidential candidature of Democratic Party) "have strongly refuted the suggestions of any wrongdoings."

It is not illegal in U.S. Donations to Trusts administered by Congress members and Senators in exchange for work done in U.S., is also common.

In India also, this type of payments may be common, though lobbying is illegal.


Sometimes, it may be necessary, in National interest.


Acceptance of Indo US Civil Nuclear Deal pertains to the reign of Mr. Manmohan Singh as Prime Minister. We have to wait and see, what he is going to say.


In U.S.A., this revelation may be used by the opponents of Ms. Hillary Clinton, to spoil her chances of Democratic Party nomination. In India, this news item can be used as a stick, by BJP to beat Congress and Manmohan Singh.

Mrs. Indira Gandhi, used to say that Corruption was a universal phenomenon.  శ్రీమతి ఇందిరా గాంధీ గారు అవినీతి ప్రపంచమంతా ఉంది, సర్వాంతర్యామి అనేవారు (మనం పట్టించుకోకూడదని భావం).

What I understood during the last 20 years, from the events taking place in USA  बीस साल अमॆरिका के तरीखे देखने के बाद मै क्या सीखा ఇరవయి ఏళ్ళు అమెరికాలో జరిగే సంఘటనలను చూశాక నేను ఏమి నేర్చుకున్నాను:  

For everything got done in USA, countries pay.  How can India be an exception?  For example to get an invitation from White House to visit USA, Heads of Nations (or their Embassies) have to pay bribes (euphemism: lobbying).   Mr. Barack Obama wrote a great eulogy in praise of Mr. Narendra Modi, recently, in New York Times.  I personally believe that somebody might have lobbied and paid some keyperson  in US Whit House to get this piece written and published.

ఇది భాజపాకు గానీ, భారత ప్రధానికి గానీ, భారత ప్రభుత్వానికి గానీ, తెలియకుండానే, అమెరికాలో జరిగి ఉండవచ్చు.  ఎలాగంటే అమెరికా దగ్గర భారత్ వేల కోట్ల విలువ చేసే, బోయింగ్ మొ || విమానాలు కొనాలి.  పాత అణు విద్యుత్ కేంద్రాల  యంత్రాలు కొనాలి.   ఇరాక్ దగ్గర క్రూడ్ కొనటం మానేసి, అమెరికా దగ్గర షేల్ ఇంధనం కొనాలి.  మెక్ డో వెల్ పిజ్జాలు కొనాలి.  కోకాకోలా , పెప్సీ నీళ్ళు ౧౩౦ కోట్లమందికీ అలవాటు చేయాలి.  ఇవన్నీ చేయించాలంటే, భారత్ తో పని ఉన్న ఏ   అమెరికన్ కంపెనీ వాళ్ళైనా,  వైట్ హౌస్ లో కీలక వ్యక్తులకు,  డాలర్లలో చెల్లింపులు చేసి ఉండవచ్చు.

India seems to be more complex and complicated, when compared to the rest of the World.
