We have today completed 600 posts at this blog. Some need revision. Question: You are always writing bad things about Mr. Narendra Modi. Why don't you write something good about our beloved PM?

Ans: Certainly. During the Man-ki-bath Radio talk on 25th October 2015, Mr. Narendra Modi announced:. What Mr. Modi announced on Radio is implemented from the New Year Day 2016, Unemployed Youth will be benefited a lot.

"...The government has completed the entire process to do away with interviews for lower rank jobs. There will be no requirement of interview for Group D, C and B non-gazetted posts in Centre. It will come into effect from January 1, 2016, ..."

"...Interviews for recruitment at lower levels in governments, are a source of corrupti. ..."

"...Government would also do away with the system of interviews for appointments with group D, C and B category (non-gazetted) Central Government posts from January 1, next year. "

If the two level (preliminary and Main) written tests are conducted properly, without corruption and scandals, probably, there will be no need for further interviews, even for IAS and IPS. Of course, if there are no interviews, it will be difficult to select the kith and kin of bureaucrats and politicians to the Civil Services. Our dynasties have to flourish, No??

Reasons: The five or ten minutes time which the Interview Board allots to each candidate, is not really sufficient to gauge the capabilities of candidates. Interviews add to the expenses of poor candidates who can't afford to travel to Cities for attending interviews. Poor candidates from rural areas cannot properly express themselves in languages other than their mother tongue; they also cannot answer sophisticated questions which the interviewers ask, because they do not have as much access to Personality Development Books, Smart phones, Coaching Institutes.

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
Many years back, ybrao-a-donkey went for an interview by Motor Vehicle Inspector, for grant of a driving licence. No bribe was given to anybody. No intermediary or agent. Direct application and direct interview.

After driving the scooter on Testing path, as directed by MVI, an oral interview was conducted. The MVI asked some questions on traffic signs etc. which were answered reasonably well. Dissatisfied, he asked one question.

What does Sec. 125 of MV Act say about driving two wheelers?

Yb could not answer. The MVI said "Hahha hahha!" .

"...You do not know this simple thing? Sec. 125 says:..." "...No person driving a motor vehicle shall allow any person to stand or sit or to place anything in such a manner or position as to hamper the driver in his control of the vehicle. ..."

"...So when your sons or daughters stand before your seat on the scooter, how do you make sure that they do not obstruct your vision, when you do not know this simple thing like Sec. 125? ..."

After coming out, an RTA Agent said: "...You should have approached him through us. You thought of saving some amount, and now you see how he played a cruel joke on you. ...".
The MVI or the RTA middleman does not know that I am a self-declared donkey.

This insult by Motor Vehicles Inspector motivated ybrao-a-donkey to study LLB in an Evening College. But still, I must say that I do not know thoroughly the contents of the so called MV Act.

431 Examination rhetoric of Mr. Narendra Modi to Indian students

Mr. Narendra Modi, like other politicians, is a stage actor.   Whatever, he, therefore, utters is to be taken with a pinch of salt.  Like utterances of other politicians, they are intended to generate rhetoric and create impressions in the minds of listeners, viewers, and receivers.  They lack sincerity.

శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోడీ, ఇతర రాజకీయ నేతలవలెనే, ఒక రంగస్థల నటుడు.  శ్రీవారు ఏమి చెప్పినా మనం, వాటిని కొన్ని పరిమితులకు లోబడే అర్ధం చేసుకోవాలి.  ఇతర రాజకీయనేతల వలెనే, ఆమాటలు ఇతరులలో తమపై గొప్ప అభిప్రాయాన్ని కలిగించుకోవాలి (రెటారిక్) , శ్రోతలు, ప్రేక్షకులు, సందేశ గ్రాహకులు, ఇతరులపై గొప్ప ముద్రను వేయించుకోవాలి, అనే లక్ష్యాలు కలిగి ఉంటాయి.  త్రికరణశుధ్ధి పాలు తక్కువ.


The latest is, his advice to the students not to consider examinations as the 'end' of life.
శ్రీ వారు, ఇటీవల ఇచ్చిన ఒక సలహా ఏమిటంటే, విద్యార్ధులు పరీక్షలను ఒక అంతిమగమ్యంగా భావించరాదు.

Of course, the speeches, dialogues, presentations of a Prime Minister are not written by himself.  They are made ready for the P.M. by a batch of speech writers, conceptualisers, designers, modulators, experts in the respective fields.  Naturally, they will contain all the elements required for gaining acceptability by critics, reviewers and scholars.

ప్రధానమంత్రిగారంటే సామాన్యులు కాదు.  ఆయన చుట్టూ స్పీచ్ రైటర్లు ఉంటారు.  ఆయన తన మాటలను, ప్రజెంటేషన్ లను తానే తయారు చేసుకోవాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు.  ఆయన చుట్టూ ఉండే నిపుణులు, డిజైనర్లు, మాడ్యులేటర్లు (హావభావాలను నాటకీయం చేయటానికి), రచయితలు, దార్శనికులు పరివేష్ఠించి ఉంటారు.  ఎంతో కృషిచేసి విమర్శలకు దారితీయని బోధనలను తయారు చేసి రిహార్సల్స్ చేయించి, ప్రజలముందుకి పంపిస్తారు.


It is , therefore, natural that his address to the Nation over All India Radio has received alround adulation and praise.

కనుక శ్రీనరేంద్రమోడీ గారు, ఆకాశవాణి ద్వారా పిల్లల నుద్దేశించి చేసిన ప్రసంగం, వేనోళ్ల కొనియాడబడటంలో ఆశ్చర్యం ఏమీ లేదు.


Real question remains: How many examinations, did Mr. Narendra Modi face?  ఇక్కడ కీలకమైన ప్రశ్న ఏమిటంటే, శ్రీ నరేంద్రమోడీ గారు విద్యార్ధిగా ఎన్ని పరీక్షలను ఎదుర్కున్నారు ?  వాటిల్లో టెన్ షన్ పడే స్వభావం కలిగినవి ఎన్ని, చిద్విలాసంగా వ్రాయదగినవి ఎన్ని?


According to the declaration Mr. Narendra Modi made to the Election Commission, he has studied M.A. Political Science.   The scheme of examinations for B.A. and M.A. courses in our Universities is not of serious genre.  Every year, about five or six papers are written, of a very general nature.  Candidates to pass through, have to secure some 40% or 35% marks.  That means it will be suffice if they know only 40% of the answer for each question.  Five questions out of ten questions given are answered.  Many students select some five chapters in a text book, just one month before exams. and prepare for about 15 questions.  Out of these 15 questions, if 5 questions appear in the exam., and if they answer at least 40% of the correct answer for each question, it will be suffice.

శ్రీనరేంద్ర మోడీ గారు ఎన్నికల కమీషనర్ గారికి ఇచ్చిన ప్రకటన ప్రకారం వారు ఎమ్.ఏ రాజనీతి శాస్త్రం చదివారు.  సాధారణంగా విశ్వవిద్యాలయాల సాధారణ డిగ్రీ, పీజీ పరీక్షల విధానం ఎలా ఉంటుందంటే, అది సీరియస్ నెస్ కలిగించేది కాదు.  ఏడాదికి ఐదారు పేపర్లు ఉంటాయి.  ఏపేపరైనా ౩౫% లేక ౪౦% మార్కులు వస్తే సరిపోతుంది.   అంటే , ఏప్రశ్న లో నయినా, ౪౦% జవాబు తెలిస్తే చాలు. పది ప్రశ్నలు ఇస్తే, ఐదు ప్రశ్నలు వ్రాస్తే సరిపోతుంది.  చాల మంది విద్యార్ధులు ఒక నెల ముందు కళ్ళు తెరిచి, గైళ్ళు ముందేసుకుని, ఒక ఐదు ఛాప్టర్లను ఎన్నుకుని, ఒక పదిహేను ప్రశ్నలకు తయారయితే సరిపోతుంది.  ఈ పదిహేనింట్లో ఒక ఐదు పరీక్షలలో వస్తే చాలు.  ఒక్కో దానికి ౪౦% జవాబు వ్రాస్తే చాలు.


Only fastidiously meticulous fools care to study the entire syllabus, more beyond syllabus, discuss the subjects threadbare with co-students if available, lecturers (if they allow discussion), identify issues and problems which are relevant to our country, economy and the society.  It is not the goal of our education.

ప్రస్తుతం దేశంలో ఉన్న పరిస్థితులలో, కేవలం ప్రతిదీ పక్కాగా ఉండాలనుకునే, పక్కాగా అధ్యయనం చేయాలనుకునే మూర్ఖులు మాత్రమే, సిలబస్ లో ని అంశాలను మొత్తాన్ని, సిలబస్ బయటి అంశాలను కూడ అధ్యయనం చేయటం మాత్రమే కాకుండా, తమ స్నేహితులతో అందులోని అంశాలను చర్చించటం, అధ్యాపకులు తరగతులలో కానీ, బయట కానీ తమతో లేక తమ అధ్వర్యంలో చర్చలకు అవకాశం ఇస్తే వాటిని చర్చించటం, వాటినుండి, దేశానికీ, తాముండే ప్రదేశానికీ సంబంధించిన వివిధ సాంఘిక, ఆర్ధిక, సాంకేతిక, అంశాలను, సమస్యలను గుర్తించటం చేస్తారు.  నేడా వాతావరణమే లేదు.  మంచి  మార్కులు , సంపాదించటం, ఉత్తర్ణత సంపాదించటం, వీటికి అనుబంధంగా జరుగాలి.  కానీ అలా జరగటం లేదు.  ఎద్దును తీసుకెళ్ళి బండి వెనకాల కట్టి చెండ్రాకోల పెట్టి బాదినట్లు జరుగుతున్నది.  


He has not gone through the tunnel of Competitive examinations  to secure a Government job or a private job.  He did not do any private jobs or Govt. jobs.  What he did. according to the history available on the internet, was help his uncle in running a Canteen at an RTC Bus Statiion, run a tea-cart for a few months, how many months nobody knows.

శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోడీ గారు, అధికపోటీ ఉన్న కోర్సులలో సీట్లను సాధించటం కొరకు, లేక ప్రైవేటు ప్రభుత్వోద్యోగాలను సంపాదించటం కొరకు పోటీ పరీక్షలు వ్రాయటం అనే సొరంగంలో నుండి ప్రయాణించలేదు.     ఆయన ప్రైవేటు ఉద్యోగాలనుగానీ, ప్రభుత్వోద్యోగాలను గానీ చేస్తే కదా.   అంతర్జాలంలో లభిస్తున్న ఆయన జీవిత చరిత్ర సమాచారాన్ని బట్టి చూస్తే, ఆయన స్వల్పకాలం తన అంకుల్ గారు నడిపి ఆర్ టీ సీ క్యాంటీన్ లో సహాయం చేసారు, తరువాత ఇంకా కొంత స్వల్పకాలం టీ బండి నడిపారు.  కరెక్ట్ గా ఎంత కాలమో తెలీదు.  చాయ్ బండి నడపటం నచ్చకే, అయ్యగారు శ్రీ రామకృష్ణ మఠం లో చేరాలని వెళ్ళటం, వారేమో డిగ్రీలేదని తృణీకరించటం జరిగి ఉండవచ్చు.   ఆతరువాత హిమాలయాలలో తపస్సు వగైరాలు ఆదేవుడికే తెలియాలి.  చివరికి శ్రీవారు ఆర్ ఎస్ ఎస్ లో, బిజెపీ లో తేలారు.


 Like his Ekalavya guru Swami Vivekananda, Mr. Narendra Modi might have had a condescending view towards 'doing jobs' under somebody.



తన ఏకలవ్య గురువు శ్రీ స్వామీ వివేకానంద గారి వలెనే, శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోడీ గారికి కూడ ఉద్యోగాలు చేయటం అంటే చులకన భావం ఉండి ఉండ వచ్చు.

Question: You are making a baseless allegation against Swami Vivekananda that he was averse to do jobs for his livelihood.  మీరు స్వామీ వివేకానంద గారి యెడల నిరాదర భావంతో, స్వామి వారికి ఉద్యోగం చేయటం అంటే చులకన భావం ఉండేదని, నిరాధారమైన ఆరోపణ చేస్తున్నారు.  ఋజువు చేయండి.

Answer:  You can refer the Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda.  You can see his conversation with Priyanath Sinha.  Here is a quote of Swami Vivekananda:

" ... In the case of a post of twenty or thirty rupees falling vacant, five hundred B.A.s and M.A.s will apply for it! And, dear me! how curiously worded these petitions are! "I have nothing to eat at home, sir, my wife and children are starving; I most humbly implore you, sir, to give me some means to provide for myself and my family, or we shall die of starvation! ... "

"... Telugu: ఇరవయి ముఫ్ఫయి రూపాయల ఉద్యోగం ఖాళీ అయితే, ౫౦౦ మంది బి.ఏ.లు, ఎం. ఏ. లు, దానికి దరఖాస్తు చేస్తారు.  ఓ ప్రియమైన వాడా, ఈ దరఖాస్తులు ఎంత విచిత్రమైన పదాలతో నిండి ఉంటాయి.  మా ఇంట్లో తింటానికి ఏమీ లేదు.   నా భార్యా పిల్లలు అన్నానికి మాడుతున్నారు.  నేను మిమ్ములని అతి విధేయతతో అర్ధిస్తున్నదేమిటంటే, నాకు, నాకుటుంబ పోషణకి కొంత ఆధరువును అందించండి.  లేకపోతే, మేము అన్నానికి మాడి చచ్చిపోతాము. ..."

 ybrao a donkey's most reluctant comment:  Swami Vivekananda might have, after due consideration, felt that instead of applying for jobs, it would be more prudent to wear ochre robes with impressive head gear, and waist belt, and ask the English-only knowing western devotees for cigars!  Better to beg for cigars, rather than fit oneself in a small job and take care of mother, younger brother and sister with the paltry salary.   Providing some income for mother can be entrusted to the ruler of Khetri.   శ్రీ స్వామీ వివేకానందా గారు, ఎంతో ఆలోచించే, ఒక నిర్ణయానికి వచ్చి ఉండ వచ్చు.  అదేమిటంటే, ఉద్యోగాలకు దరఖాస్తులు పెట్టుకునే కన్నా, కాషాయబట్టలు కట్టుకుని, ఒక రాజమకుటం లాంటి తలపాగా, నడుముకో బెల్టు కట్టుకొని, ఇంగ్లీషు తప్ప వేరొక భాష తెలియని పాశ్చాత్య శిష్యులను చుట్టలకోసం డిమాండు చేయటం మేలు.  చిట్టి ఉద్యోగం వెతుక్కుని అందులో  చుట్టుకుపోయి తల్లిని, తమ్ముడిని, చెల్లెలిని పోషించుకోటం కన్నా చుట్టలు కరము ధీరముగా నవలోకించుచు సారెకాధోరణోపలాలితమై మెల్లగా కబళము గొనెయెడిది అని చిన్నయసూరి గారన్నట్లుగా చుట్టలు సాధించుకోటం మేలు అనుకొని ఉండచ్చు.  అమ్మను పోషించే పనిని, ఖేత్రీరాజా గారికి అప్పగిస్తే సరిపోతుంది. అని భావించి ఉండవచ్చు.


Shri Narendra Modi might have nursed a philosophy of the above model practised by his Guru Vivekananda, and might have avoided applying for a Government job or a private job.  Had he applied for some job, he might have had a need to face a Competitive examination, and then he might have known whether an exam. was really crucial or not.  During the days of Swami Vivekananda , such competitive examinations which decide whether a person gets a job or not , with a hair-line distinction of half-a-mark, might not have existed, because number of educated persons was less in those days, and there was not much competition of the type which we have in 1960s, 70s,  80s, 90s, and the 21st c.


శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోడీ గారు కూడ, తన గురువైన స్వామీ వివేకానందాగారి వలెనే, ప్రైవేటు జాబ్, లేక ప్రభుత్వ జాబ్ కు దరఖాస్తుచేయటాన్ని అవమానంగా భావించి విడిచేసి ఉండచ్చు.  శ్రీ మోడీ గారు నౌకరీకి దరఖాస్తు చేసి ఉంటే, పోటీ పరీక్ష వ్రాయాల్సి వచ్చేది, అప్పుడు జీవితాల్లో పరీక్షలు ఎంత ప్రముఖపాత్వ వహిస్తాయి అనేది తెలిసేది.  స్వామీ వివేకానందా గారి కాలంలో పోటీ పరీక్షలు లేవు, ముఖ్యంగా ఓక అర మార్కు తేడాతో ఒక వ్యక్తి డెబ్భయివేల జీతంతో యూజీసీ లెక్చరర్ అవుతాడా లేక నెలకారువేల జీతంతో ప్రైవేటు కాలేజీ లెక్చరర్ గా మిగిలిపోతాడా, లేక అదికూడ దొరక్క ఇడ్లీ బండి నడుపుకుంటాడా, అని నిర్ణయించే పరీక్షలు లేవు.  మనకి ౧౯౬౦లు, ౭౦లు, ౮౦లు, ౯౦లు, ౨౧వ శతాబ్దంలో ఇలాటి వన్నీ ఉన్నాయికదా.

Shri Modi and Shri Vivekananda, didn't undergo the arduous task of running a family consisting either of parents, or wife-children, or both.  What he did was work with his RSS bosses or BJP bosses, arranging things, may be including some tea and serving them on-to the tables.


Blaming the current systems of examinations (both examinations which provide certificates and degrees, and competitive examinations for scarce-courses, Govt. jobs etc.) is of no use because they are based on BUREAUCRATIC AND CAPITALISTIC MINDSETS.

EXAMINATIONS PLAY VERY CRUCIAL ROLE in the lives of students of poor and middle classes, particularly those belonging to castes which do not have any reservations, those who cannot buy seats, those who cannot buy jobs, or those who are not born with silver spoon.   They are really life-and-survival and death questions.

పేద, దిగువ మధ్యతరగతి కుటుంబాల వారి పిల్లలు, రిజర్వేషన్ లేని కులాల పేద విద్యార్ధులు, డబ్బులు పారేసి సీట్లు కొనుక్కోలేనివారు, డబ్బులు పారేసి ఉద్యోగాలు కొనుక్కోలేనివారు, మనం హీరో కావాలంటే నాన్నలు  మనతో ఒక సినిమా తీసి పారేస్తారు వంటి భావనలకు ఆస్కారం లేనివాళ్ళు, జీవితంలో స్థిరపడటానికి పోటీ పరీక్షలపై ఆధార పడాల్సిందే.  అదే సమయంలో తమ నైపుణ్యాలను పెంపొందించుకుంటూ, తాము సమాజానికి ఏవిధమైన వస్తువులను సేవలను ఉత్పత్తి చేసి అందించ గలం, బ్రతుకుతెరువును స్థిరీకరించుకోగలం, అని నిత్యం ఏంతో వ్యథ పడాల్సిందే.  

Level of the family to which a person belong to - will decide the importance of examinations in his-her life.

యువతీ యువకులు తమ జీవితాలలో పరీక్షలకు ఎంత ప్రాధాన్యత ఇవ్వాలి అనేది, వారి కుటుంబం యొక్క సాంఘిక ఆర్ధిక స్థాయి, వారి తల్లిదండ్రుల వృత్తులు, వెనకాల ఉండే స్థిరాస్తులు, వాటినుండి వచ్చే ఆదాయాలు మొ.|| ఎన్నో విషయాల పై ఆధారపడి ఉంటుంది.  మనం, పిడుక్కీ బియ్యానికీ ఒక మంత్రంలాగా, పరీక్షలు ప్రధానమా కాదా అనే దానిని నిర్ణయించ లేం.
