1129 MCQ TEST & CURRENT AFFAIRS

■BANGLA DESH unlikely TO ACCEPT ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS FROM THEIR COUNTRY. NRC IN ASSAM WILL BE A WILD GOOSE CHASE :

♛HASINA TAKES UP NRC WITH MODI, news Headlines indicate.♝

♛Common Sense also indicates that no country, howsoever friendly its relations with its neighbor may be, will accept "return" of illegal immigrants even if the illegal immigrants belong to their own religion.♝

♛Bangla Desh would have not accepted even ROHINGYAS from India, had India tried to send the Burmese (Former Bangla Deshi) Rohingyas to Bangla Desh, even if Rohingyas are Muslims.♝

♛This unwillingness of countries to take back illegal immigrants highlights one important basic principle: COUNTRIES CANNOT BE FORMED AND/OR RUN ON THE BASIS OF RELIGION.♝

♛Mr. DONALD TRUMP, howsoever, noble or cruel he may be, apparently knows this. Hence Mr. Trump wants to divert every fund for construction of a wall on Amercian Boundary with Mexico. ♝

♛As a Marxist, I can only say that "Workers of all countries Unite. For workers, there can be no boundaries.♝

LIQUOR BOTTLES: are being distributed free in Andhra Pradesh, today i.e. 30th Sept. 2019

:
♛In the past, liquor addicts used to complain that liquor was being sold in Wineshops at rates exceeding MRP (Maximum Retail Price). Today 30th Sept. 2019 is different.♝
♛Today is the last day for Private Wineshops. From 1st Oct. 2019, Government of Andhra Pradesh will run the Wine Shops.♝
♛From 1st Oct. 2019, all the Private Shops have to surrender all their stocks to Govt. free of cost (Govt. will not pay anything). Private Dealers cannot keep more than 6 bottles with them because that is the maximum limit for a person to hold in possession.♝
♛Dealers, instead of surrendering the stocks to the Government, are preferring to distributing them free to Public, probably to get some popularity.♝
♛One dealer is reported to have said: I had excess stock. I can't keep more than six bottles. Why I should give them to Govt.? I am giving them free to my friends and relatives.♝

EURACANZ (Europe, America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand): Are they fighting a war against China, in Hong Kong?

:
♛The present unrest in Hongkong started when the Hongkong Government introduced a bill for extraditing criminal-accused-persons to Mainland China. The Hongkong Administration withdrew the Extradition Bill. But the Unrest in Hongkong is continuing, and aggravating. Why? ♝
♛According to ybrao-a-donkey's perception, the latent reason appears to be a September 2019 attempt of Hongkong and China, to purchase the London Stock Exchange for $39 billion. ♝
♛Unable to bear this Financial Markets invasion, EURACANZ countries seem to be instigating the Hongkong Street Demonstrators to rebel, by providing financial support, and by misleading Youth. This is only a suspicion.♝
♛If Hongkong and China are going to succeed in their capturing the London Stock Exchange, next on the guillotine will be New York Stock Exchange.♝
♛Chinese Rulers may have poor memory. But, the Rest of the World should not have a poor memory. In October 1962, Chinese Army pounced at midnight on the Unsuspecting Indian Territories of Ladakh and NEFA (now Arunachal Pradesh) and occupied approx. 36,000 sq.km. of Indian Territory. If China is going to prefer a Financial Invasion on India, instead of a military Invasion, Hongkong Stock Exchange may try to buy out BSE or NSE. (91003)♝

JUNIOR LEADERS OF RULING PARTIES

:

♛I get an impression that the Junior Leaders of BJP who are devotees of Shri Narendra Modi seems to be confused.
♛They seem to suffer from numerous visions of Shri Modi in numerous incarnations such as Shivaji, Swami Vivekananda, Sardar Vallabh bhai Patel etc.
♛The BJP Party's General Secretary Shri Ram Madhav alone, seems to have clearly understood the philosophies and practices of the Top Leadership of his Party.
♛Hence, he is so forthright, when he said that his Party was a Political Party and not a Charitable Trust. (99111)

YOGA FOR WHITE COLORED EMPLOYEES

:

♛The very idea of having white colored employees with sedate work, itself is obnoxious.
♛White collared employees and officials need no separate yoga, if their Office work schedule includes a three hour slot of physical labor, such as farming, gardening, fitting machine parts, turning machine parts etc.
♛Some exceptions from physical work may be extended to physically challenged persons, and persons suffering disabling diseases. (9933)

♛In the Upper House also, though BJP does not enjoy full majority, when elections to Rajya Sabha take place in the ensuing months, it will get its clear majority.
♛A few months waiting will be suffice.
♛Unfortunately, BJP is encouraging defections. (99610)

♛Growth of productive capital and rise of wages, are they really, so indissolubly united as the bourgeois economists maintain? We must not believe their mere words. We dare not believe them even when they claim that the fatter capital is the more will its slave be pampered.♝

TODAY'S QUOTE FROM VYASA MAHABHARATA ENGL. TRANSL.: :

■VYASA MAHABHARATA TRANSLATED BY Ganguli, BOOK3, BOOK OF FOREST/m03131.♞:

♛The Mahabharata, Book 3: Vana Parva: Tirtha-yatra Parva♝

♛"Lomasa said, 'See here, O lord of men, the sacred hermitage of Swetaketu, son of Uddalaka, whose fame as an expert in the sacred mantras is so widely spread on earth.♝

♛ This hermitage is graced with coconut trees.♝

♛ Here Swetaketu beheld the goddess Saraswati in her human shape, and spake unto her, saying, 'May I be endowed with the gift of speech!" In that yuga, Swetaketu, the son of Uddalaka, and Ashtavakra, the son of Kahoda, who stood to each other in the relation of uncle and nephew, were the best of those conversant with the sacred lore.♝

♛ Those two Brahmanas, of matchless energy, who bore unto each other the relationship of uncle and nephew, went into the sacrificial ground of king Janaka and there defeated Vandin in a controversy.♝

♛ Worship, O son of Kunti, with thy brothers, the sacred hermitage of him who had for his grandson Ashtavakra, who, even when a mere child, had caused Vandin to be drowned in a river, after having defeated him in a (literary) contest.♝

♛" Yudhishthira said, Tell me, O Lomasa, all about the power of this man, who had in that way defeated Vandin.♝

♛ Why was he born as Ashtavakra (crooked in eight parts in his body)?" ♝

♛"Lomasa said, The sage Uddalaka had a disciple named Kahoda of subdued passions, and entirely devoted to the service of his preceptor and who had continued his studies long.♝

♛ The Brahmana had served his tutor long, and his preceptor, recognising his service, gave him his own daughter, Sujata, in marriage, as well as a mastery over the Shastras.♝

♛ And she became with child, radiant as fire.♝

♛ And the embryo addressed his father while employed in reading, 'O father, thou hast been reading the whole night, but (of all that) thy reading doth not seem to me correct.♝

♛ Even in my fetal state I have, by thy favour, become versed in the Shastras and the Vedas with their several branches.♝

♛ I say, O father, that what proceeds from thy mouth, is not correct.♝

♛Thus insulted in the presence of his disciples, the great sage in anger cursed his child in the womb, saying, 'Because thou speakest thus even while in the womb, therefore thou shalt be crooked in eight parts of the body.♝

♛The child was accordingly born crooked, and the great sage was ever after known by the name of Ashtavakra.♝

♛ Now, he had an uncle named Swetaketu who was the same age with himself.♝

♛ Afflicted by the growth of the child in the womb, Sujata, desirous of riches, conciliating her husband who had no wealth told him in private: 'How shall I manage, O great sage, the tenth month of my pregnancy having come? Thou hast no ♝

♛substance whereby I may extricate myself from the exigencies, after I have been delivered.♝

♛" Thus addressed by his wife, Kahoda went unto king Janaka for riches.♝

♛ He was there defeated in a controversy by Vandin, well versed in the science of arguments, and (in consequence) was immersed into water.♝

♛ And hearing that his son-in-law had been defeated in a controversy by Vandin and caused to be drowned by him, Uddalaka spake unto his daughter Sujata, saying, 'Thou shall keep it a secret from Ashtavakra.♝
