599 PSEUDO HINDUTVA CAN BE AS DANGEROUS AS PSEUDO SECULARISM.

Meaning of Pseudo-Secularism in Indian Context as per Wikipaedia.org: In the Indian context, the term pseudo-secularism is used to pejoratively describe policies considered to involve minority appeasement.[1] The Hindus form the majority religious community in India; the term "pseudo-secular" implies that those who claim to be secular are actually not so, but are anti-Hindu or pro-minority.[2] The Hindu nationalist politicians accused of being "communal" use it as a counter-accusation against their critics.[3]

A quote from the same web page:

The BJP leader LK Advani characterizes pseudo-secular politicians as those for whom "secularism is only a euphemism for vote-bank politics""secularism is only a euphemism for vote-bank politics". According to him, these politicians are not concerned with the welfare of the minorities, but only interested in their vote.[6]

UNABLE to trace any definition from Wikipaedia.

But definitely this term is in vogue. For example, see this Indian Express news report:- ఉదాహరణకి ఈక్రింది న్యూస్ రిపోర్టును చూడండి.

!Link to Indianhttp://indianexpress.com/article/cities/chandigarh/pseudo-hindutva-the-worst-thing-for-the-country/

But this interview by Academy-Awardee-Returner AtamjitSingh Sahilwalia, only reflects his agony-filled response to the recent events in the country such as Lynching, Murdering, Tarnishing. It does not give any definition or an explanation of pseudo-Hindutva.

However, we can easily comprehend that the above definitions of Pseudo Secularism found at Wikipedia can help us to mirror them into definitions of Pseudo-Hindutva.

Policies considered to involve MAJORITY appeasement.

Politicians are not concerned with the welfare of the MAJORITIES, but only interested in their vote.[6]//

WE can also mirror the **discourse of Shri L.K. Advani:**

< "... Hindutva is only a euphemism for vote-bank politics ..." .

In other words Pseudo Hindutva, and Pseudo Secularism are only the head and tail of the same coin of Politics.

#ybrao-a-donkey's additional comments#
Pseudo Hindutva Intensive Campaigners do not study deeply the concept of Hindutva, and consequently they know very little about Hindutva. For example, they shout from roof-tops about Swami Vivekananda, but they do not study Swami Vivekananda's Complete Works deeply. They speak about our glorious Temples, but they do not study about the evolution or the history of our temples.

Did Indians learn any lesson, having voted for the 'Pseudo-Hindutva vAdis' in 2014, and bringing them to power? This question is difficult to answer. (TO CONTINUE. A LOT TO WRITE MORE).

598 Not clear why Ms. Jashoda Ben was denied her right to a Passport on flimsy grounds?

According to the news from The Hindu and the Huffington Post, the Regional Passport Officer, Gujarat rejected a Passport Application submitted by Ms. Jashoda Ben, w/o Shri Narendra Modi our Honorable and Highly respected and Trusted Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, on the ground that she has not submitted Marriage Certificate or a Joint Affidavit with Husband.
It is not clear why Indian Newspapers or TV channels or popular websites have not reported this important news.

We may have to buy 10 news papers and watch 20 news channels everyday so that we do not miss important news.

- Regional passport officer ZA Khan told The Hindu: "...The application is incomplete and therefore it was not accepted. "

  • Mr. Khan: "We have not accepted the application because there was no marriage certificate or a joint affidavit with the spouse. Marriage certificate or a joint affidavit is a required document to get the passport."

  • "...Current passport rules require that those applying for a fresh passport, after marriage, need to submit documentary proof of their union. ..."

  • Ashok Modi, brother of Ms. Jashoda Ben : "We have many family friends abroad and they asked her to visit them so she had applied for the passport but the application has been turned down,"

  • Shri Ashok Modi: "...She may have to explore "legal options" to get the passport, which is a right of every citizen of the country. ..."

Mrs. Jashoda Ben is reported to have applied for a passport to abroad for meeting "family friends and relatives".

  • 1. Our Passport laws and rules appear to be outdated. They seem to pertain to IkshvAku period or MAndhAta period.

  • 2. In respect of married persons, if there are sufficient reasons for the Passport Officer to foresee that the applicant's spouse may object to the issue of passport and foreign visit of the married partner, the Passport Officer ought to have issued a Public Notice on the Notice Board of its Office, and if necessary through a Newspaper advertisement inviting objections, or he could have sent a letter by Speed Post to the applicant's spouse. Whether the objections given by spouse will be strong and valid enough to deny passport to the applicant, is a question of law which may be initially decided by the Passport Officer and subsequently decided by appropriate courts.

  • 3. Earlier a Police Superintendent of Mehsana rejected an RTI application of Ms. Jashoda Ben. Now, the Regional Passport Officer has rejected the Passport Application. For the purpose of issuance of Passport, every applicant will have to be treated as a distinct person and individual.

  • 4. Our bureaucrats appear to be suffering from either timidness or fear complex. They seem to believe that Ms. Jashoda Ben will not be able to get her Marriage Certificate, or a Joint Affidavit from her husband Shri Narendra Modi, and there will be no need for them to issue a passport to her, and incur the wrath of persons in power.

  • 5. Even an ordinary Police Superintendent's Bungalows at District Headquarters in India are guarded by around 50/60 Armed Guards. An MLA in Andhra Pradesh gets a dozen armed guard security , each, in 3 shifts of the day. How is it that a PM's wife is given a neglible security of just 4 guards and that too she and her sister has to cook for them and arrange beds for them. Strange country is India, isn't it?

  • 6. According to news reports, during his Bihar election speeches, Shri Narendra Modi Mahoday called Ms. Misa Kumari, the daughter of Shri Lalu Prasad Yadav, a bechari (a poor, helpless girl). In my humble donkey's view, Ms. Jashoda Ben appears to be a bechAri and not Ms. Misa Kumari.

  • 7. According to new reports, media persons are STRICTLY not being allowed to meet Ms. Jashoda Ben. Then, how will she express herself freely, even if she wants to? It may not be correct, but still there is a possibility that people may get an impression, that she is under house arrest.
  • 8. If Ms. Jashoda Ben goes abroad, it may be difficult to prevent her from meeting Western Media persons. Western Media Persons are not docile like Indian Media persons.
  • People are responding very fast to relatively unimportant stimulii and triggers. But it is not clear, why our Great MPs, Media, Cultural Organisations, Feminists, fail to respond when an innocent woman like Ms. Jashoda Ben is in difficulties, for no fault of hers.
  • Suggestion: It will be in fitness of things, that Hon. Narendra Modi signs a joint Affidavit with Ms. Jashoda Ben, and help her to get a passport, to go abroad to meet her family relatives et al. This will not in any way disturb the ideals and goals of our abhinava Vivekananda Shri Narendra Modi.

2. POST No. 584 http://problemsoftelugus.blogspot.com/search/label/584

To recapitulate: Shri Ramana Dikshitulu, the Chief Priest of the Tirumala Bhagavan Shri Venkateswara Temple, conceded that the principal idol of the Lord Venkateswara does not have hair on his dorsal side. (See 584).

"This has negativated the possibility of the main idol being that of BAla Tripura Sundari or any other female Goddess (Shakti)."

Here we have to exercise caution. The temple's dome has some signs of Goddess Shakti (Female Goddess, Mother). This again opens up several branches of thinking such as Original Jain temple being taken over by ShAktEyas (Mother Goddess or Devi worshippers) and building the dome with Devi Symbols like Lions, while the idol remain the tonsured head of Jain Neminatha. These are not conclusions. These are only some clues, which have to be discussed by historians and scholars.

In parts 1 to 4 we have already seen that there was some probability of the TTD Shri Venkateswara Temple being a Jain Temple taken over by VaishNavas. Main evidence for this view was provided by Bukkaraya Sandhi (2nd Vijayanagara Emperor Bukka Raya giving protection to Sravana Belagola Jain Temple in Karnataka, in exchange for Jains surrendering their rights on Tirumala Temple.

We shall now see how Vaishnava Scriptures treated Buddhist and Jain Monks. The word "pAShAnDA" refers to a person who has deviated from the path of Yagnas (Worshipping God through the medium of Fire God (a demy God), without the aid of idols and temples). We shall take quotations from Chaturdha Skantha (Vol. 4 ) of Mahabhagavatam Telugu Translation of Bammera Potanamatya. Equivalent original Sanskrit verses of Vyasa's Mahabhagavata (Bhagavata purANa) we shall add later.

Context: Chief of the Demy Gods Indra, stole the sacrificial horse of Emperor Prithu, and was flying home in the sky, with the horse.

The Emperor was angry. He chased Indra and caught hold of him.

The Chief Demy-God Indra was escaping with the horse. Indra was wearing kapAlam (scull), lOlini (meaning not clear, to be investigated.)

khaTvAngam is a religious symbol, and a hand-staff-weapon carried by Shaivites and VajrayAna Buddhists. KhaTvAnga is said to represent "vajra". Incidentally, it may be noted that Indra's vajrAyudha is also made of human bone of Sage dadhIci.

Anyway, the Demy God Indra was wearing the clothes and the weapons, which Saivaites, Vajrayana BUDDHISTS used to wear in those days.

ధర్మ ఇత్ యుపధర్మేషు నగ్నరక్తపటాదిషు naked & Ochre robes. nagna= naked. rakta paTAdishu= ochre robed. UpadharmEshu refers to sub religions. Jainism and Buddhism were not specifically mentioned by name. It is a custom to regard Jainism and Buddhism as sub religions.
This may probably be, because, Sanskrit Mahabhagavata evolved around 3rd Century A.D., whereas Potana's Telugu Bhagavatam was scripted in 14th/15th Century A.D. At that time, Residual Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were under turmoil for two parallel reasons. There were internecine fights between Saivas, Jains, and Vaishnavas. It is said that during KAkati Ganapati Deva's rule, Tikkana came from Nellore to Warangal, defeated Jain scholars in some religious arguments (whatever it may mean!!!) and thereafter forcibly converted them into Saivism, converted the Jaina ARAmAs of Amaravati, Bhimavaram, Palakol, DakshArama, Samarlakota into Shaivaite Temples. Larger evidence is needed to establish the facts.

During the same period, in the South, BukkarAya made a compromise between Jains and VaishNavas whereby Jains surrendered the Tirumala Temple, in exchange for protection to Sravana Belagola. Potana being a resident of Warangal might have been aware of some of these things.

During the same period Juna Khan (Mohd. Bin Tuglack's Commander) took KakatIya ruler PratApa Rudra II as prisoner to Delhi. Hence Potana's specifically naming Jainas, Bauddhas specifically, and VyAsa just saying sub-religions seems to be justified.

Potana himself belonged to a smArta sect of Brahmins [literal meaning as per smritis or memorised scriptures. Practical meaning, a compromising mixed cult evolved after the advent of Adi Shankara , by combining the six Sub Religions i.e. Shiva, VishNu, Ganapati, Kumaraswami (shaNmukha), dEvi (Mother Goddess) and Brahma]. His ancestors were not pure VaishNavas of either the vaikhAnasa or pAncarAtra paths wearing vertical facial marks). Yet, he took great joy in translating a VishNu scripture.

But the Residual Religion of the country seems to have some intolerance towards Jains and Buddhists as can be seen from Potana's verses (the word Hinduism was not in vogue in those days. The phrase "sanAtana dharma" (Ancient Religion) was also apparently not in vogue.). Had smArta culture openly included Buddhism and Jainism apart from the six faiths already said to have been harmonised by Adi Shankara, i.e. a composite culture of eight sub religions, probably Indian history might have taken a different trajectory. This is only a preliminary if-and-but view. Yet Potana stands as a symbol of Pluralism and tolerance when compared to the climate of intolerance prevailing in the 21st Century. This is in spite of the fact that the period 1000 AD to 1947 being DARK AGE in Indian History.

596 Not clear, why PMO is unable to provide this simple information of Monthly Internet Bill.

Not clear why PMO is unable to provide this simple information sought by the RTI applicant. The information sought is about the amount of monthly Internet Expenses Bill of PMO.

http://www.jantakareporter.com/india/exclusive-three-weeks-after-modi-promises-transparency-on-rti-pmo-rejects-request-on-expense/26494

It is not clear why PMO refused to provide this simple information sought by the RTI Activist.

At least, theoretically, there should be no need to hide this simple information on amount spent for use of internet in the Office of the Prime Minister of India. Unnecessary secretiveness, creates unnecessary doubts and suspicions. This information probably may not have anything to do with the internal or external security of India.

The Chief Accounts Officer TR SBN RP who provided this reply to the RTI activist, might not have received suitable instructions/training for transparency from his Superiors in PMO, New Delhi.

While refusing information, PMO ought to have given reasons for rejection. But again, if reasons are given, another pandora box will open. This issue is really complex.

595 Part 2 of BJP's debacle in Bihar- Mr. Advani is as much an opportunist as Mr. Modi

If Vajpayee is the Bhishma, Murali Manohar Joshi is the Kripacharya of BJP, L.K. Advani is the Dronacharya of BJP in India. The above screenshots image shows the retweets made by Shri Advani, about Shri Narendra Modi. All the tweets were made prior to 2014 Lok Sabha Elections.

Now, we shall see how Shri Narendra Modi was prostrating before Advani.

For those who wish to read the above retweets (said to have been) made by Shri L.K. Advani, middle member of the Trinity of the BJP.
http://https://twitter.com/LKAdvaniBJP . Prima facie this Twitter looks like the Genuine Twitter site of Shri L.K. Advani. It will be better if he confirms that it is his Official Twitter site, or alternatively denies it that it was created by some unscrupulous netizen.

Strangely, Shri L.K. Advani does not appear to have tweeted anything about Shri Narendra Modi, after Shri Modi became PM of India, after ditching both Mr. Advani and Mr. Joshi, without at least taking them as Ministers in the Central Cabinet. Had Mr. Modi done that, it would have enhanced the prestige of Mr. Narendra Modi.

Shri Advani coolly accepted the Padma VibhUshaN thrown out as a bait by Mr. Modi. Probably Mr. Advani was expecting, or Mr. Rajnath Singh and Mr. Modi promised him to make him President of India, when Mr. Pranab Mukherjee retires.

About the debacle in BJP in 2015 Bihar Assembly Elections, it would have happened even if Mr. Advani or Mr. Joshi were Prime Ministers. In my personal view, the principal cause for the loss of BJP in Bihar is the Economic Policies of Messrs. Modi and Arun Jaitley, which were not different from the Economic Policies of Messrs. Manmohan Singh and Chidambaram.

All the four i.e. Vajpayee, Advani, Modi, Joshi have the same perspective about Indian Economy. All of them were/are/will be ready to beat people with the sticks of Economic Reforms dictated by IMF, World Bank, WTO, World Economic Forum, Standard and Poor, Moodys, and every Tom Dick and Harry from the Capitalist World. People do not want Reforms. They want Relief.

Mr. Jaitley neglected the price rises which are biting the man on the Street. BJP leaders tried to pass on the blame to Mr. Nitish Kumar, canvassing that he did not care to use the facilities provided by the Centre for import of essential commodities and for controlling price-rises. Mr. Nitish Kumar turned the tables on BJP that price-rise was not only restrited to Bihar and that prices were rising even in BJP States.

Who among among Mr. Vajpayee, Mr. Advani, Mr. Joshi, and Mr. Modi, is the best , as per your donkey's view?

ybrao-a-donkey's view

All are equal. Mr. Vajpayee and Mr. Advani look like liberal and moderate politicians when compared to Mr. Joshi and Modi, but appearances can be deceptive. Very few people know about the shoddy and suspicious role played by Mr. Vajpayee in Quit INDIA Movement. Both Mr. Advani and Vajpayee made inflammatory speeches (copies of the CDs of their speeches were available at that time) which led to the illegal destruction of Babri Masjid. If at all the destruction was to be done, it should have been done through a legal process through Court Orders. The parties to that dispute must either have co-operated with the courts in speeding up the judgement, or alternatively entered into some sort of compromise.

594 Part 2 BJP's discomfigure in Bihar Elections need not please Leftists.

It will not be correct to say that our blog is Anti-Narendra Modi or Anti BJP. Our blog's goal is to spread aguardianism and Total Socialism. Our blog is fully democratic.

Question: What is the essence and goal of aguardianism?
Aguardianism is a word coined by ybrao a donkey, to explain the concept that there is no God in the meaning of "protector, nourisher, and punisher" (guardian). The prefix 'a' to the root word 'guard, guardian' is aguardian. Addition of suffix 'ism' indicates that it is a principle and theory.
Question: If a human is not nurtured, protected by God, and punished by God, who will support and control the human?
Basically, a human is a free individual. He/she has to control him-herself with the help of his own virtuosity and wisdom. There are no supporters, judges and punishers in the sky. Recently at a prayer place, people assembled to throw stones on Saitan, while circumambulating around a sacred-structure. In the resulting stampede, thousands of people died. What for people approach and pray God? For protection. The same protection was not available when they were praying at the sacred place. Why? Because there is no protector and supporter, who discharges the functions of a guardian, hence this Aguardianism.
Then, who who will protect and support humans?
Humans have to support themselves. As far as possible an individual has to nurture, protect and support h/herself. This is responsibility is necessary for an individual to protect h/her personal freedom and liberties. When something is really beyond h/her control , Society will have to take care of individuals. Thus a synergetic relationship forms between individuals and the society in which s/he is a member. The concept of Total Socialism tries to implement this synergetic relationship between individuals and societies.

*Question : प्रश्न : ప్రశ్న : *Your blog seems to be anti Narendra Modi. The defeat of BJP in this 2015 Bihar Assembly elections might have given you some happiness. </b>

Answer : जवाब : జవాబు : It will not be correct to say that our blog is Anti-Narendra Modi or Anti BJP. It is aguardianist and Total Socialist. Our blog is fully democratic.

*Question : प्रश्न - ప్రశ్న * Then, Leftist Parties in India are celebrating the defeat of BJP, as if the victory were the win for the Left Parties?

Answer : जवाब : జవాబు : It is an important weakness of the Leftist Parties in India.

*Question : प्रश्न - ప్రశ్న * CPI has contested in Bihar for more than a hundred seats. It did not get even a dozen. How do you view it?

Answer : जवाब : జవాబు : Even CPI knows that it will not get a dozen seats. Sometimes, it may even fail to open its account.

Had CPI or CPM entered into a front / electoral adjustments with Bourgeoisie parties, they might have got a dozen seats or so. But, it would not, really have benefitted them or the people.

*Question: What benefits did Leftists gain in 2015 Bihar Assembly elections, by contesting hundreds of seats and winning a dozen or less seats?

If the Leftish Parties and their candidates, during their election Campaigns, took some reasonable care to explain the benefits of a cash-less, market-less, Capitalist-less economy where all the basic needs of the people will be met by the Government which accommodates them in reasonably decent and dignified jobs, then even if 100 people had voted for them, in my humble view, the Candidates can be taken as having done their home work very well. If Leftist Parties and their candidates go into the people repeatedly, how long can voters can ignore the Leftists?

AS LONG AS Left Parties collude with Bourgeoisie parties just for the sake of a dozen seats or so, the Left cannot gain anything.

Question: What is the use of winning in Municipal and State level elections, when Municipalities and States are overburdened with responsibilities, but do not have resources to meet those responsibilities?
Answerजवाब జవాబు You are right. No use. Leftist parties, Marxist Parties, Total Socialist Parties should always try to contest and win only in Lok Sabha (Lower House of INdian Parliament) and Rajya Sabha (Upper House of Indian Parliament). As far as possible they should aim to get 2/3 majority in both the Houses. Else, they cannot truly implement the Marxist Reforms of Removal of Private Property, Removal of Monetary System, Compulsorisation of physical labor at least for three hours to the so-called mind-working and intellectual (It is a self-claim) classes who shy away physical work.
