Encouraged by people's favourable verdict, in spite of their numerous hardships and trials and travails (Banks were closed, ATMs did not work, shops were empty etc.), Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras should have proceeded in his bargains with the European lenders, but he surrendered meekly and gifted Greece in a gold plate to the European lenders.

548 Already a monkey. It has drunk toddy. It has trodded on fires. Now you see!

I shall write about the differences among discourse-emperors, and media barons, later. There are other triggers. I am, here taking the liberty of making a wild guess. I may be wrong. Readers, pl. bear with me.

Why Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Residual Andhra Pradesh is spending most of his time in Rajahmundry, supervising Godavari Mahapushkaras? शेष आंध्र प्रदेश के मुख्य मंत्री श्री चंद्रबाबु नायुडु, आजकल ज्यादा समय, गोदावरि महा पुष्कर राजहमंद्री में बिता रहे है, क्यों ?

Ostensible Reason: On the first day of the Godavari Maha Pushkaras 27 people died in a stampede. In order to wipe out the ill-fame he got from the accident/incident, Mr. Naidu is camping in Rajahmundry and working 24 hours to prevent recurrence of such mishaps. बाह्य दृश्य के लिये: महा पुष्कर के पहले दिन पुष्कर घाट के भगदड में 27 लोग निर्जीव हो गये थे। इस दुर्घटना से प्राप्त हुए दुष्कीर्ती को साफ करने के लिये, और अछ्छे नाम कमाने के लिये वे, राजमंद्री में अपने शिविर लगाकर दिन रात श्रम कर रहे है।

Probable other reasonIf Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu enters Hyderabad, there is a danger of his being arrested by the ACB sleuths enleashed by KCR & Co. Of course, in Hyderabad, he arranged protection of Andhra Pradesh Police to surround him whenever he is in the City. But that may not be adequate. Rajahmundry is a very safe place to take shelter to save oneself from the Telangana ACB Police. At least for another week, this protection can be availed of. Till a new Governor is appointed for the State of Residual Andhra Pradesh in the place of Mr. Narasimhan, and till the new incumbent takes interest in administering justice to A.P. (if the new incumbent is keen on taking such interest in justice), Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu may have to wait. Alternatively, he has to apply for an Anticipatory Bail in a Competent Court to prevent the undesirable eventuality of arrest and questioning.

Shri Chandra Babu Naidu is a person who is very much concerned about his personal privileges, personal safety, personal wealth. Everything else gets a second priority.

Recently, in Rajahmundry, his supporters, bureaucrats, crony media, made a facade of his sacrificing his personal protection for public convenience of the pilgrims. A big thing has been made out of his reducing number of vehicles in his convoy to THREE. Should there be hundred vehicles in a CM's convoy? In Greece, its Finance Minister recently resigned. He used to travel in Athens, on a bike.

Normally, CMs of RAP (Residual Andhra Pradesh) and TELANGANA compete with one another in purchasing SUVs, bulletproof vehicles for their convoys. Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu maintains two convoys one at HYDERABAD, and the other at VIJAYAWADA. The three vehicle convoy at Rajahmundry might have been an addition. When Municipal garbage cleaning workers ask for a raise in daily wage, he will say that Andhra Pradesh is a poor State. When Anganwadi workers ask for a raise, in this poor State, they are beaten by police. When women suffering from violent drunken husbands, express their resentment against increase in Wine Shops, they are dragged away by Police.

If Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu comes to know the superstitious "jinx" of Chief Ministers losing their posts after bathing in Pushkaras (he might have already known, but forgotten), he may feel more unsecure. Fortunately, there are no challengers to him now in Telugu Desam Party, who can purchase sufficient number of M.L.As to turn him upside down, just as Mr. Naidu did for his father-in-law Late N.T. Rama Rao. Such rebellers should have double the funds. 1) To buy the current M.L.As. 2) To fight mid-term elections, if Mr. CBN seeks them. Mr. Jagan may have such money, but he may not risk such expensive adventures.

The first discourser to respond on the miserable mishap of the death of 30 pilgrims and the GRIEVIOUS INJURIES of numerous persons at the Godavari Maha Pushkara Festival 2015 is Shri Garikapati Narasimha Rao, a reputed scholar and TV commentator on spiritual matters.

One quote from what Shri Garikapati Narasimha Rao is reported to have said:

(This is in my mother tongue Telugu language, spoken by 100 million people across the world:).
"...ఇవి మహాపుష్కరాలు అనేది పెద్ద తప్పు. మహా అంటే 1212.. 144 అన్నారు. దీన్ని మహాపుష్కరాలని ఎలా చెప్తారు? పోనీ గోదావరి పుట్టుక నుంచి లెక్కపెట్టారనుకుంటే నది పుట్టుకను ఎలా లెక్కిస్తారు? మహా పుష్కరాలన్నమాట ఎవరు ప్రచారం చేశారో వాళ్లంతా దీనికి బాధ్యులే. పైగా.. ‘‘ఇది 144 ఏళ్లకొకసారి వస్తుంది. మళ్లీ 144 ఏళ్ల వరకూ మనం బతికుంటామో బతికుండమో? ఇప్పుడు మునక్కపోతే పిశాచి జన్మ ఎత్తుతాం. రాక్షస జన్మెత్తుతాం’’.. ఇలా కొందరు ప్రచారం చేశారు. పుష్కరాల్లో స్నానం పుణ్యం వస్తుందని చెబితే సరే! కానీ... చేయకపోతే మహాపాపం చుట్టుకున్నట్టే, జన్మ మొత్తం వ్యర్థం.. అని ప్రవచన చక్రవర్తులు చెప్పడమే దారుణం. "

Approximate English gist: It is a big mistake to say that these "pushkarAs" are Great Grand Gigantic Pushkaras. (ybrao a donkey's explanation: There is no exact English equivalent for the attribute "mahA" which is a composite attribute of the three attributes Great, Grand, Gigantic.) . They said Maha means 12 x 12 .. 144. (Explanation: Pushkara festivals come every 12 years. A pushkara festival compounded after 12 pushkara festivals or 12 square is maha pushkara which comes every 144 years). How can they say that these are mahA pushkarAs? If we assuming that they counted from the birth of the Godavari River, how do they calculate the birth of a River? Whoever have made the propaganda that these are mahA pushkarAs, they should also be responsible for this (mishap). Besides, "This will come every 144 years. We may, or may not live for further 144 years. "If we do not immerse ourselves in the River now, we shall be born as some blood-sucking vampire.", thus some persons have amplified and broadcast. It may be OKay, if they say that by bathing during pushkarAs, one will get heavenly credit and merit. But, ... "If not done, great sin will wind around, life is waste ... thus, the Emperors of Discourses (pravacana cakravartulu) telling is abominable.

Approximate Hindi gist (India's National Language): यह बडा गलत है इनको महा पुष्कर कहना। ... महा के मतलब १२ x १२ = १४४ (विवरण: हर एक पुष्कर दस साल. बारह पुष्करों के बाद या ने १२ x १२ = १४४ साल के बाद आनेवाले पुष्कर महा पुष्कर). इन पुषकरों को वे महा पुष्कर कैसा कह सकते ? गोदावरी नदि के जन्म साल से गिन्ती किये , ऐसा समझने के लिये लायक नहीं है, क्योंकि, नदियों के जन्म समय कौन गिन सकते ? जो भी हो, इन पुष्करों को महा पुष्कर वार्ता फैलाये, वे इसको (मृतियों को) बाध्य बनना चाहिए। इसके शिवा, यह १४४ साल में एक बार आयेगा। हम आगे और १४४ साल जीते या नहीं। अगर हम हमारे को नदी में अभी नहीं डुबाये, तो हमारे को पिशाच जन्म मिलेगी। ... ऐसा कुछ लोग वार्ताये फैलाये। पुष्करों में नहान करने से पुण्य मिलेगा, यह कहना, ओके। लेकिन, ... "अगर नहीं किये, महा पाप हमें गेर लेते, जिंदगी बेकार हो जायेगा। ... ऐसा, प्रवचन चक्रवर्तीयों कहना दारुण है।

AndhraJyothy.com, the number 2 daily of United Andhra Pradesh, has raised the issue of Discoursers, Preachers, Interpretors (దేవాలయాలలో, మరియు టీవీలలో పురాణాల, ఇతిహాసాల ఉపన్యాసకులు, ప్రవచనకర్తలు, ప్రవచనకారులు) over-influencing (exerting an undue dominating influence) on the viewers, particularly about Pushkara Festival of Godavari, and specifically identified the leading ace interpretor Scholar Shri Chaganti Koteswara Rao as one of the contributors to the swelling of crowds at Pushkara steps on Godavari River, resulting in a ghastly stampede and death of 30 innocent pilgrims and injury of several others. The title of the Editorial is "Edi pApam, Edi puNyam? Which is sin? Which is merit and virtue?". The Editorial also has substantially covered the role played by Swamijis (Ochre robed monks) in perpetuating superstitions among people, and for being oblivious to the exclusion or non-participation of dalits in religious events.
